Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the league and we note that teams in their first playoff game that lost as a favorite in the playoffs last year are 40-4 long term. The Ravens lost here ass a double digit favorite to the Titans last year ruining the what was the much anticipated Baltimore- KC AFC Championship game. Then playing with revenge for that loss this season they lost to the Titans again. Now they are playing down the revenge factor, but no ones really buying it. Buffalo likely wins and may even cover but the game should be lower scoring. Play this one Under.

The NFL Play is on Green Bay. Game 480 at 8:20 eastern. The Packers are 9-0 ats as a favorite if they were favored and rushed for 150+ yards and have covered 8 of 9 as a home favorite off a home game. The Pack have covered 5 straight before a division road game. The Titans will have a rough go in the Cold in a late December game at Lambeau. In fact the Titans 0-5 ats in the 2nd to last game of the year off a win and a terrible 0-13 ats as a road dog with more than 4 days rest if off a win of 8 or more in a game where they were turnover free. The Titans have been quite the offensive team of late with the vaunted ground game. Miami is the better team has covered to a 5-0-1 tune in the series. Now to the serious stuff. Money is pouring in on the Raiders because they cant possibly lose 3 straight. Well. lets see what the database says about that. Home dogs of less than 5 off a home loss and prior home loss are 0-6 straight up and ats since 1989 vs an opponent off a home win. For Miami we see that road favorites off a home win coming off 3+ home stand are 5-0 since 1989 vs a team off back to back home losses. The Browns fit a powerful all purpose system that plays on winning home dogs at +6.5 or less off a road dog win vs an opponent off a home game. But the even better system plays on Monday night Specific home dogs of more than 1 off a road win vs an opponent off a home game game as these teams have covered 21 of 22 since 1980 with an additional subset. The Browns have covered 5 of 6 at home off a dog win and 4 of 5 if they have a non conference home game next up. Baltimore is not as good as last year and has failed to cover 4 of 5 as a favorite and 8 of 10 off a loss. 

The NFL Power Play is on the Steelers at 8:20 eastern. The Steelers should be much more motivated here after blowing a home lad over Washington last week. They are battling for the 1 seed with KC and Pittsburgh is 8-0 ats vs 650 or better if coming off a home loss and 8-0 ats if the total i more than 45 and they were a favorite last out. The Bills are off a very solid win over SF on an Arizona field where they lost on a hail mary earlier in the year. The difference in the game is the Steeler defense is just flat out better than the Bills.  Look for Pittsburgh to rebound here tonight. Take the points but look for an outright win.
