The Thursday night NFL Banger is on Chicago at 8:20 eastern. This is a Thursday night game so we look for specifics that differentiate from games mostly played on Sundays. So looking at week 1 dogs playing on a Thursday night we see that they are 1-13 straight up and even worse 0-8 in grass field games. The Bears have covered 7 of 9 as a home favorite and are 7-0 ats vs NFC North. They Beat Green bay here last December and lost the season opener at Green Bay last year and will not want to lose another season opener to them in back to back years. Super Bowl 53- New England Patriots vs LA. Rams- Rob Vinciletti- Golden Contende

 On Sunday the Super Bowl Selection is on the LA. Rams at 6:30 eastern. The Rams fit several indicators and systems. For one that has never lost. Consider that teams like the Patriots that have a pass defense that is worse than League average have NEVER won a Super bowl. In fact the Better overall defense has won 44 of the 52 super bowls, which is another nice qualifier for the Rams. The Rams are a dog in this game despite the better overall record. Super Bowl dogs have covered 13 of 16 and won straight up 6 of the last 7 times. Dogs off a conference championship dog win are on a 10-0 spread run in the big game. Another high end bowl indicator is to play on the team with the Better net yards per play. The Rams average 6.3 and the Pats are 5.9. Teams who have the higher yards per pass attempt have yielded big results historically which again plays on the Rams at 7.8 yards to 7.5 for New England. Super bowl favorites that had a first round bye are just 2-10 straight up. The Pats lost last years Super bowl and teams returning that lost last year are 2-5 all time. The Rams are better on both sides of the ball.  Looking at the game on the field the Rams have the front line to put Pressure on Brady and even if they dont sack him, they could disrupt his throws. Defensive Coordinator put together a solid plan with Denver when they best the Patriots in the AFC Championship game a few years ago and his defense battered Brady all day. The Patriots are favored because of experience and an over reaction to last weeks games. However, while one would argue that the Rams should be at home. We have to give them credit for battling back and showing tremendous poise after falling behind 2 touchdowns in a hostile New Orleans Super dome and even out yarding the Saints 370-290, While the Rams looked inept early on and could not even call the correct plays due to extreme crowd nose, they showed a ton of poise overcoming that stretch and this game could be much easier considering the Saints had a better defense than the Patriots and just as a good an offense. The Patriots on the other hand were one off sides penalty from getting sent home themselves and blew a huge lead. This game may very well be decided by the team who has the ball last as both teams are pretty well matched. We will grab the better team and take the points with the Rams.

The AFC Championship play is on KC. Game 314 at 6:40 eastern. The Chiefs have a prolific offense with Mahomes at the helm and they should have no problem scoring 21 or more here tonight. Championship homers who score 21 or more are 29-3 straight up and 24-8 to the spread. Championship home teams that were playoff teams last year are on a 17-3 run and the last 10 home team have won overall. In game vs a 1 vs a 2 seed the 1 seed is on  9-2 run. The Patriots are on an 0-3 road run in conference championship games and what they do on offense will not be a surprise as they beat the Chiefs at home by 3 this year. In fact teams that are a dog or favorite of 6 or less are 5-15 to the spread off a playoff win where they allowed 28 or more. The Pats took advantage of a home bye last week and caught a western time zone team making a 2nd cross country trip in 2 weeks. This certainly had a big and negative impact on the Chargers who were out of it from the opening kick. The Pats wont have that type of advantage here. KC is a top 10 defense when playing at home where they have allowed 16 points combined the last 2  games and frustrated A. Luck and the Colts all day. They can get pressure on Brady with their potent front line. KC has more and plenty of speed on offense that thew Pats wont match. Home teams have excelled in these games when both team enter off home favored wins and covers scoring 30 or more last out. The Pats are a public dog here. However the Chiefs have been the better team all year. Play on KC.

NFL Power system Play on LA. Chargers. Game 105 at 1:05 eastern. The Chargers are a rare 12 win wild card team which right off the top starts them off in a killer system which is 14-1 ats since 1980 for playoff dogs with a better win percentage that are off a spread win by 2 or more points if they are +6.5 or less. The Chargers have home loss revenge for a double digit loss to Baltimore in a game where the chargers played off a come back upset over KC. They will be much more focused here. LA has covered 7 of 8 on the road are 4-0 ats in games where the total is 35.5 to 42 and 3-1 vs winning teams. The Chargers have won the last 2 with home loss revenge. Rivers should have more poise in this game than Baltimore who has the rookie at Qb. The Ravens have failed to cover 4 of 5 as a home favorite of 7 or less and 3 of 4 vs winning teams. Play on LA.

The NFC Wild card power system play is on Seattle. Game 103 at 8:15 eastern. Seattle has covered 5 of 6 vs winning teams, 4 of 5 in the Wild card round and 8 of 8 after allowing 90 or less rush yards. They beat Dallas here last year and at home this year despite losing the rush yards battle. Dallas has failed to cover 4 of 5 at home in the playoffs and 7 of 10 at home overall vs winning road teams. The dog in the series has covered 5 of 6. Even better. Teams like Dallas off a dog win at +6 or more to end the regular season are a lousy 1-9 to the spread . Dallas is ranked 14 in the Sagarin ratings and Seattle is ranked 9th which qualifies them in a subset we use in the playoffs. This game fits an undefeated totals system that pertains to round 1 road teams like the Colts that are in off a road favored win and cover. In the series 4 if the last 5 have stayed under. They re 2-8 ats on Thursdays and have failed to cover 4 of 5 vs American Athletic Teams. Memphis led by Penny Hardaway has the #1 recruit in Weisman and is a perfect 7-0 ats vs winning teams. They beat a tough Yale team and hung in most of they way in a  tough SEC Road game at LSU. Look for the Tigers to get the cash at home. Make it Memphis

This game has one of our Exclusive Thursday night specific systems that plays the over for Thursday night home teams with a line of -3 to +3 and off a road dog spread win vs an opponent off a win.
