06-20-21 | White Sox v. Astros -144 | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 18 m | Show
The Houston Astros have climbed their way back into the AL West race with the Oakland A's. The Astros gained a game and are now just one-game back of Oakland thanks to a six-game winning streak by Houston. The Astros have the best run differential in baseball with a +106 number. Today they face the AL Central leading Chicago White Sox. The Sox hold a 3.5 game lead over the Cleveland Indians. The Sox start Dallas Keuchel today. Keuchel is 6-1 in his 14 starts with a 3.66 ERA. Houston counters with Lance McCullers who is 3-1 in his 10 starts with a 2.89 ERA. Both pitchers are good but I'm sticking with the red-hot Astros in this one. Play Houston. |
06-19-21 | Brewers v. Rockies UNDER 10.5 | 6-5 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 35 m | Show
The Milwaukee Brewers are just one game back of AL Central leading Chicago Cubs. They are this close despite losing five straight games. The Colorado Rockies have won five straight games, but still sit in 4th in the NL West 15.5-games back of the Giants. Adrian Houser starts today for the Brewers. Houser is only 4-5 but has a nice 3.77 ERA on the season. Houser has allowed two runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts. Austin Gomber toes the rubber for the Rockies today. Gomber is 6-5 on the season with a 3.54 ERA. He's been outstanding at home, going 3-1 with a 0.95 ERA. Expect a low scoring contest here tonight. Play UNDER. |
06-19-21 | Bucks v. Nets -1.5 | 115-111 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 59 m | Show
Game 7 here today between the Bucks and the Nets from Brooklyn. The Bucks staved off elimination at home in a game 6 blowout win, 104-89. The Nets won the first two games of this series and then have lost three of the last four games. However, the Nets have not lost at home and today they are just a 1 1/2 to 2 point favorite so they need to do little more than win. The Nets will have to win without one of their Big Three in the lineup. Kyrie Irving looks to miss this game with an ankle injury. Even without Irving, I like the Nets to hold home court and win the series today. Play Brooklyn. |
06-19-21 | Lightning v. Islanders +115 | 2-3 | Win | 115 | 8 h 32 m | Show
The Islanders opened this series with a hard fought win at Tampa Bay, 2-1. The Lightning then took game two on their home ice, 4-2. The venue shifted to the Islanders home ice where they lost 1-2. This whole series has been low scoring and I look for that to continue here today. I also look for the Islanders to get the win and even this series at 2-2. Look for a low scoring game and an Islanders win. Play NY Islanders. |
06-19-21 | Phillies v. Giants -108 | 13-6 | Loss | -108 | 3 h 30 m | Show
The San Francisco Giants ran their win streak to five games and have won seven of their last 10 games. They still have a 2.5-game lead in the NL West over the Dodgers and the Padres have fallen six games back. The Phillies are in 2nd place in the NL East, 4.5-games back of the division leading Mets. The Phillies will start Aaron Nola here today. Nola has a 5-4 record and 3.69 ERA this season. He's a bit worse on the road with a 4.99 ERA. Alex Wood starts for the Giants. Wood is 6-3 with a 3.71 ERA. I'm sticking with the hot Giants and Wood here today. Play San Francisco. |
06-18-21 | Mercury v. Sparks UNDER 154.5 | 80-66 | Win | 100 | 11 h 30 m | Show
Just one game on the WNBA slate here on Friday as the Phoenix Mercury take on the LA Sparks. The Mercury are at the bottom of the WNBA standings, but they are just three games out of 3rd place too. The Mercury are 5-7 on the season and average 78.8 ppg. The LA Sparks are 5th in the league with their 5-5 record. They average 78.5 ppg. LA is 1-6 O/U in their last seven games with 1 day rest. They are also 3-10 O/U in their last 13 overall games. Two teams that both could use a win in this contest. For me, I'm taking the UNDER. |
06-18-21 | Jazz -2 v. Clippers | 119-131 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 4 m | Show
Game six here in the Western Conference Semifinals as the Utah Jazz look to stave off elimination at LA and force a game seven back in Utah. The Jazz opened this series with a pair of wins at home then went to LA and lost both in blowout losses. They returned home where they lost game five, 111-119. It's always about injuries and tonight there are a few key ones. The Jazz have guard Donovan Mitchell (ankle) who is listed as questionable for this game. The Clippers look to be without Kwahi Leonard tonight who has a knee injury. The Clippers won game five without Leonard and look to have to do so again tonight. Jazz are a one-point road favorite here tonight. I look for them to win this game and force that game seven. Leonard's loss will be hard for the Clippers to survive for a second straight game. Play Utah. |
06-18-21 | White Sox v. Astros UNDER 8.5 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 19 h 52 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox lost to the Houston Astros on Thursday, 2-10. The loss knocked a game off the Sox AL Central lead over the Indians, now 3.5-games. Still, the Sox have won seven of their last 10 games. The Astros have won eight of their last 10 games and four straight following Thursday's win. The Astros still trail the Oakland A's by 2-games in the AL West. The White Sox start Carlos Rondon who is 6-2 in his 11 starts. Rondon has been excellent with a 1.89 ERA and 1.80 road ERA. Rondon has allowed just two runs over his last two starts (12 innings). The Astros counter with Luis Garcia. Garcia is 5-3 in his 11 starts with a 2.98 ERA. Garcia has not allowed more than three run in any of his 11 starts. Two excellent starters who should keep this a low scoring game. Play UNDER. |
06-18-21 | Golden Knights -159 v. Canadiens | 2-3 | Loss | -159 | 8 h 8 m | Show
After their game on dominance, I stated that the Canadiens needed to do something different in game two. For Montreal, that means scoring first and that's just what they did. They hadn't trailed in their previous seven games before falling behind in game one to Vegas. That changed in game two where they scored first and built a 3-0 lead before Vegas mounted a comeback that fell short at 3-2. So here in game three, that first goal is key. The team that gets that goal has a high probability of winning this game. I believe that will be Vegas. They proved they can win on the road as they did at both Minnesota and Colorado. They will prove it again here in game three in Montreal. Play Vegas. |
06-17-21 | Nets v. Bucks -5.5 | 89-104 | Win | 100 | 33 h 60 m | Show
This best of seven semifinal series has the Nets up 3-2 after taking game five on Tuesday night, 114-108. The Nets played without two of their big three stars and were trailing at the half but rebound behind 49 points from Kevin Durant. Tonight, Nets guard Kyrie Irving is now questionable with an ankle injury. James Harden looks to be back here tonight. Nets head coach Steve Nash could give some of his oft injured stars some extra time off here in game six with the thought of returning home and having fresher players for a game seven on their home court. Either way, I look for Milwaukee to take game six here tonight on their home court. Play Milwaukee. |
06-17-21 | White Sox v. Astros -120 | 2-10 | Win | 100 | 8 h 29 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox look to extend their lead in the AL Central as they play at Houston today. The Sox have a 4.5-game lead over 2nd place Cleveland. The Sox also have the best run differential in MLB with +107. The Houston Astros are in 2nd place in the NL West, 2.5-games back of the Oakland A's. The Astros have won three straight games and seven of their last 10 games. The Sox start Dylan Cease who is 5-2 on the season with a 3.37 ERA and a little worse 5.79 ERA on the road. The Astros start Jose Urquidy, who is 4-3 in his 11 starts with a 3.77 ERA and slightly better 2.83 ERA at home. Two excellent starters here and I'll be on the home team. Play Houston. |
06-17-21 | Sun +4.5 v. Sky | 75-81 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 47 m | Show
The Connecticut Sun are in third place in the WNBA with a 8-3 record. They are coming off a loss to the Seattle Storm, 66-89. However, they have won seven of their last 10 games. The Suns are 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 road games. They are also 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games as a dog. The Chicago Sky are 9th in the league with a 5-7 record. The Sky have won three straight games after a seven game losing streak. The Sky also have a poor home record at 1-5. The Sky are just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite and 1-10 ATS in their last 11 home games. The Sun are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games at Chicago. I'll be on the Sun here tonight. Play Connecticut. |
06-16-21 | Clippers v. Jazz UNDER 221.5 | 119-111 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 34 m | Show
Clippers and Jazz play game five of their semifinal best of seven series here today from Utah. LA tied up the series with a pair of home wins at Staple's Center. Now the venue returns to Utah where the Jazz won the first two games. Problem is that the Clippers will be without one half of their potent duo as Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss tonight's contest with a knee injury. Leonard and Paul George combined for 62 points in their game four win. The Jazz could see the return of start veteran guard Mike Conley, who has been nursing a hamstring injury. He is officially questionable for tonight's contest. For me, if Leonard isn't playing then this will be the Utah Jazz show tonight. Utah was -2 or -2.5 when Leonard was playing and shot up to around -7 without him. That for me is too much of a jump, so I'll just stick with the UNDER here tonight. |
06-16-21 | Canadiens v. Golden Knights UNDER 5 | 3-2 | Push | 0 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Vegas dominated game one of this semifinal clash, 4-1. The score could have been a lot higher if not for Carey Price and some great saves for the Habs. Still, game one the Knight dominated every facet of the game and had three of their goals scored by defensemen. Vegas has arguably the best defense in the NHL and offensive minded defensemen. Their speed was too much, their forchecking too much, they bottled up the Canadiens in their own zone. And of course Marc-Andre Fluery was great between the pipes again. Unless Montreal turns things around, this could be a quick series. Our under in game one was a nail biter as the Habs pulled their goalie with nearly five minutes to play and had numerous scoring chances. Plus the Knights missed two or three empty net goals by mere inches. Still I don't see Montreal scoring much more than they did in game one. As for today, I can't lay the huge price, but we won the total in game one, lets do it again. Play UNDER. |
06-16-21 | Canadiens v. Golden Knights -1.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Vegas dominated game one of this semifinal clash, 4-1. The score could have been a lot higher if not for Carey Price and some great saves for the Habs. Plus the Knights missed two or three empty net goals by mere inches. Still I don't see Montreal scoring much more than they did in game one. As for today, unless something drastic changes for the Habs, they are just overmatched in this series at this point. I'll lay the puck line with Vegas here tonight. Play Vegas -1.5 goals. |
06-16-21 | Orioles v. Indians -159 | 7-8 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles are in last place in the AL East with a 22-44 record. They are 20-games back of first place Tampa Bay. The O's have lost six straight and seven of their last 10 games. The Indians are in 2nd place in the AL Central, 4.5-games back of the White Sox. The Indians have won two straight games. The O's start Keegan Akin today who is 0-1 in his three starts with a 2.63 ERA. The Indians send Aaron Civale to the hill. Civale is 9-2 in his 13 starts with a 3.17 ERA. Both starters have been very good, but Akin plays for a terrible Baltimore team while Civale has the benefit of playing on a good Indians club. Play Cleveland. |
06-16-21 | Angels v. A's -116 | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 4 h 3 m | Show
Oakland A's have won five straight games and now sit 2.5-games ahead of 2nd place Houston in the AL West lead. The A's have also won eight of their last 10 games. The LA Angels are in fourth in the division with a 33-34 record and have lost two straight games. The Angels start Griffin Canning today. Canning is 4-4 in his 10 starts with a 5.10 ERA. The A's will counter with Cole Irvin. Irvin is 4-7 in his 13 starts with a 3.70 ERA. Irvin has pitched well of late, allowing two total runs over his last two starts (12 innings). A's with the home advantage and edge in pitching. Play Oakland. |
06-15-21 | Bucks v. Nets UNDER 217.5 | 108-114 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 6 m | Show
Game five of this best of seven Eastern Conference final has the venue switching back to Brooklyn. The Nets won the first two games in convincing fashion, 115-107 and 125-86. Then had to go back to Milwaukee where the Bucks took game three (83-86) and then game four (96-107) to even the series. All four games have gone Under. What were two of the highest scoring teams in the NBA have done little to come close to an over. We've seen this total open at 239, then to 238, 235, 229 the last game and here today we see a total of 219 bet down to 217. One big reason is that the Nets will be without two thirds of their BIG THREE!. James Harden (hamstring) and Kyrie Irving (Ankle) are both listed as OUT for this game. That's 51.7 ppg that they will be missing. The way this series has gone and now without these two big players, I'm sticking with the under again. Play UNDER. |
06-15-21 | Red Sox v. Braves OVER 9 | 10-8 | Win | 100 | 7 h 43 m | Show
Interleague action here on Tuesday has the Boston Red Sox playing at the Atlanta Braves. The Red Sox are in 2nd in the AL East, three games back of the Rays. The Braves are 5.5 games back in the NL East, sitting in third place. They have had some offensive issues, posting a -2 run differential. The Braves snapped their four game losing streak in which they didn't score more than three runs in any of those losses. The Red Sox start Eduardo Rodriquez today. Rodriquez is 5-4 in his 12 starts but has a high 6.03 ERA and 1.452 WHIP. He's allowed 19 runs over his last four starts (18 2/3 innings). The Braves start Tucker Davidson today. Davidson has no record in his three starts with a 1.53 ERA. Still to few starts for Davidson to know if he's the real deal or not. I'm taking over today with Rodriquez on the hill for the Sox. Play OVER. |
06-15-21 | Cubs v. Mets -142 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
The NY Mets have a four game lead in the NL East over the Phillies after their win last night over the Cubs, 5-2 in the opener of this series. The Mets have the best run differential in the division with a +20. The Chicago Cubs are tied for first place in the NL Central with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs have the best run differential in the division with a +40. The Cubs start Alec Mills today. Mills started one game this year at Milwaukee and went four innings allowing two runs. The Mets will start Taijuan Walker who is 5-2 on the season and has a very nice 2.07 ERA and even better 1.23 ERA at home. Walker has allowed one or no runs in five of his last six starts. I like the Mets with Walker here tonight. Play NY Mets. |
06-15-21 | Germany v. France UNDER 2.5 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 49 m | Show
Match of past champions here in the 2020 Euros as 2018 World Cup Champ France takes on 2014 World Cup Champions Germany. Germany comes into this game with a 3-1-2 record in all competitions and France is 5-0-1 their last six in all competitions. France one of the best defensive teams in the World and that should be on display here today. Yes, this German team is formidable, but they are not the force they once were. This game looks to be low scoring and I believe the first goal could be the winning goal. Take UNDER. |
06-14-21 | Jazz +5 v. Clippers | 104-118 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 18 m | Show
The Clippers look to even this best of seven series here tonight in LA at 2-2. After a pair of loss in Utah, the Clipper had a blowout win in game three over the Jazz at the Staples Center. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George combined for 65 points in game three for the Clippers. The line here tonight has moved to Clippers -5 points. For me I feel this is a bit too high as the Jazz can win this one outright. I'll take the points with the visitors here today. Play Utah. |
06-14-21 | Pirates v. Nationals -120 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 3 h 13 m | Show
The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost seven straight games and that has them in last place in the NL Central, 14.5-games back of 1st place. The Washington Nationals having a disappointing season as they sit in last in the AL East, though they are just seven games back of 1st place NY Mets. The Pirates start J.T. Brubaker today. Brubaker is 4-5 in his 11 starts with a 3.90 ERA and slightly worse 4.91 road ERA. Washington starts veteran Jon Lester today. Lester is 0-2 in his eight starts with a 4.19 ERA. He's pitched well of late though with just three total runs allowed over his last three starts (13 2/3 innings). I'll take the Nationals against this reeling Pirates team. Play Washington. |
06-13-21 | Cardinals v. Cubs UNDER 9.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
The Cubs have won four straight games. The Cardinals have dropped to five-games back of first place thanks to a 2-8 record over their last 10 games. The Cardinals will start Carlos Martinez today. Martinez is 3-6 in his 11 starts with a 6.21 ERA. He's been even worse on the road with a 1-4 record and 7.04 ERA. Martinez has allowed 15 runs over his last 4 2/3 innings of work. The Cubs will start Zach Davies today. Davies is 3-3 in his last 13 starts with a 4.45 ERA and a slightly better 3.52 ERA at home. Davies has allowed one or no runs in three of his last four starts. I like the UNDER here today, we just need the Cardinals starter to do a bit better then he has lately. Cubs should shut down this St Louis team today. Play UNDER. |
06-13-21 | Cardinals v. Cubs -124 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
The Chicago Cubs are tied for first in the AL Central with the Milwaukee Bucks, both with 37-27 records. Cubs should have little trouble in this one day against a slumping red bird team with a poor starter on the hill. Play Chicago. |
06-13-21 | Liberty v. Mercury -5.5 | 85-83 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 56 m | Show
New York Liberty are 4th in the WNBA with a 5-4 record. However, they started the season 5-1 and have lost three straight. The Phoenix Mercury are 6th with a 5-5 record. The NY Liberty have not been a good covering team in recent seasons, going 15-34-2 over their last 51 games vs the spread. They are also 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games. Phoenix has covered the last four in this series. Take The Phoenix Mercury here on Sunday. |
06-13-21 | Mystics -3.5 v. Dream | 78-101 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 26 m | Show
The Washington Mystics are 7th in the WNBA standings with a 4-5 record. They have been better of late, winning two straight games over the LA Sparks (89-71 and the Minnesota Lynx (85-81). The Atlanta Dream are 4-6 on the season but have lost four straight after a 4-2 start. They are also 1-4 at home this season. The Mystics are now 5-0 ATS in their last five games and 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games. The Dream are just 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. The Mystics are 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Dream and 5-1 ATS in the last six at Atlanta. Play Washington. |
06-13-21 | Nets -1.5 v. Bucks | 96-107 | Loss | -115 | 28 h 1 m | Show
The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks had a rare low scoring affair in game three as neither team looked very sharp in the Bucks win, 86-83. The Bucks didn't get the cover though as most numbers were 3.5 on Milwuakee. Still, the Bucks were lucky to survive as they trailed 83-80 last in the fourth before take a 84-83 lead with 11 seconds left. A Nets three-point miss led to a pair of foul shots and the final 86-83 Milwaukee win. Sunday the Nets could have James Harden back who has not played since the opening minute of game one with a hamstring issue. The oddsmaker must expect Harden back as the Nets went from a 3.5 dog to a 2-point favorite here in game four. I didn't like the way the Bucks have looked in any of the three games. With or without Harden I'm on the Nets here in game four. Play Brooklyn. |
06-13-21 | Nets v. Bucks UNDER 228.5 | 96-107 | Win | 100 | 3 h 11 m | Show
The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks had a rare low scoring affair in game three as neither team looked very sharp in the Bucks win, 86-83. Even if Harden returns today, I still see this game going the way it has been, lower scoring. The Nets have gone under in their last four games. The Bucks are 1-6 O/U at home their last seven games against a team with a winning road record. These teams have also gone under in five straight meetings. Take the UNDER. |
06-13-21 | White Sox v. Tigers UNDER 9 | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 1 h 7 m | Show
AL Central matchup here today has the Penthouse vs the Outhouse as the first place White Sox take on the last place Tigers. The Sox have opened up a 4.5-game lead over 2nd place Cleveland thanks to a 7-3 run. The Tigers have lost two straight and six of their last 10 as they have dropped to 14-games back in the Central. Carlos Rondon starts for the Sox and he's been excellent with a 5-2 record in his 10 starts with a 1.96 ERA. He's been just as good on the road with a 3-0 record and 1.93 ERA. The Tigers have nothing to lose now so they are starting Kyle Funkhouser. This is one of those bullpen games where a reliever gets the start today. Expect a lot of the Tigers relief core to make an appearance in this one as Funkhouser won't go more than three innings max. No doubt Rondon will shut down this Tigers team. Let's see if this relief game by the Tigers can do the same. Play the UNDER. |
06-12-21 | Sparks v. Lynx -9 | 64-80 | Win | 100 | 9 h 45 m | Show
The LA Sparks sit in 7th place in the WNBA standings with a 4-4 record. The Sparks are coming off a loss at the Washington Mystics, 71-89. Minnesota Lynx are in 10th place right now with a 3-5 record. The Lynx also coming off a loss at the Washington Mystics, 81-85. That loss broke a three-game win streak by the Lynx. The Sparks are not the best road team, evidenced by their 3-7 ATS mark on the road as a dog. They are also 0-4 ATS in their last four Western Conference games. This series looks to be one that the home team is the one to play. Play Minnesota. |
06-12-21 | Astros -106 v. Twins | 2-5 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 59 m | Show
The Houston Astros have closed to just one game back of AL West leading Oakland A's. The Astros have won seven of their last 10 games. They also have the best run differential in the division by far, a +78. The next closest team are the A's with a +9. The Twins have struggled all year, going just 25-38 on the season and now 14-games back of the White Sox. The Twins have lost seven of their last 10 games. Houston starts Luis Garcia today. Garcia is 5-2 with a nifty 2.72 ERA on the season. He's allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last five starts. The Twins send Jose Berrios to the hill. Berrios is 6-2 for the Twins in 12 starts with a 3.58 ERA. He hasn't been as good at home with a 4.71 ERA. Astros have been hot and they have a hot starter on the hill. Play Houston. |
06-12-21 | Blue Jays v. Red Sox -115 | 7-2 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 54 m | Show
Blue Jays have dropped to 4th in the AL East after losing six of their last 10 games. The Red Sox have climbed to within 1-game of the AL East lead as they have won two straight and seven of their last 10 games. The Jays start Steven Matz today. Matz is 6-3 in his 12 starts with a 4.50 ERA. Nick Pivetta will start for the Sox with a 6-1 record in his 12 starts and a 3.78 ERA. Both pitchers doing well, but I'll stick with the hotter team here in the Red Sox. |
06-12-21 | Rockies v. Reds UNDER 9 | 3-10 | Loss | -107 | 5 h 53 m | Show
The Rockies have the problem that they play in the very competitive NL West. It's basically a 3-game race in the West and the Rockies aren't one of them. Colorado is 15-games back of first place San Francisco. The Reds are in 4th place in the NL Central, but just 5-games back of first place. German Marquez starts for the Reds with a 4-5 record and 3.91 ERA. He's bee slightly better on the road with a 3.74 ERA. In fact, he's been very good of late, allowing just three total runs over his last four starts (26 innings). The Reds start Wade Miley. Miley is 5-4 in his 10 starts with a nice 2.96 ERA. He's also been very good of late, allowing just two total runs in his last three starts (15 2/3 innings). Looks like a low scoring affair with two hot starters. Play UNDER. |

06-12-21 | Royals v. A's -155 | 2-11 | Win | 100 | 5 h 51 m | Show
The Oakland A's have a slim lead in the AL West division, just 1-game over the Houston Astros. Looks to be a two-game race between the A's and Astros with the Angels now six games back. The A's have won seven of their last 10 games. Kansas City is in third place in the AL Central with a 30-32 record. They have lost six of their last 10 games. The Royals will start Jackson Kowar for just the second time this season. He went only 2/3 of an inning in his first start at the Angels, allowing three hits and four runs in his quick exit. James Kapreilian will toe the rubber for the A's. Kapreilian is 2-1 in his five starts with a 3.08 ERA. Kapreilian has allowed over two runs in just one of his five starts. Take the A's. |
06-12-21 | Russia v. Belgium OVER 2.25 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 45 m | Show
Euro 2020 Campaign here on Saturday has Belguim taking on Russia. Belgium the favorite to win it all as they garnered all 30 points of 30 possible in the qualifications. This is Begium's first appearance at the Euros since 2000 and they expect to go all the way this year. Russia has been no slouch either, going 3-2-1 over their last six games in all matches. The last time these two teams met on the pitch resulted in a 3-3 tie during the 2017 friendlies. Belgium should take this game, the only question is the score. I'm taking the OVER and if we get one goal out of Russia we should get the win. Play OVER. |
06-12-21 | Giants -144 v. Nationals | 0-2 | Loss | -144 | 3 h 48 m | Show
Game one of this doubleheader from Washington has the Nationals hosting the Giants. The Giants continue to hold onto first place in the NL West thanks in big part to their 7-3 win streak over their last 10 games. The Nationals are in last place in the NL East, 8-games back of the division leading Mets. The Nats are 4-6 in their last 10 games. The Giants will start Kevin Gausman. Gausman is a perfect 7-0 in his 12 starts with a nifty 1.27 ERA. He's been even better on the road with a 0l71 ERA in his eight away games. The Nats will start Erick Fedde who is 3-4 in his eight starts with a 4.35 ERA. He's been worse at home with a 7.56 ERA in his four starts. Gausman and the the Giants just too good to pass on right now. Play San Francisco. |
06-11-21 | Suns v. Nuggets -1.5 | 116-102 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 31 m | Show
The Denver Nuggets in desperate need a win here in game three as the venue returns to the Mile High City. It's been two blowout victories for the Suns thus far, including Wednesday night's 123-98 mismatch. Chris Paul has been the catalyst for the Suns in the playoffs, with 26 assists and just one turnover in the first two games of this series. The Nuggets MVP Nikola Jokic has been excellent, averaging 23 points and 11 points through the first two games. However, after Jokic, there hasn't been much help. Home court can definitely help and the Nuggets know they can't go down 0-3 and have any chance. This is their best effort game right here. Play Denver. |
06-11-21 | Royals v. A's -128 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
The Oakland A's holding onto their slim lead in the AL West with a 1-game advantage of second place Houston. The A's look to extend that lead here tonight at home against the Kansas City Royals. The Royals are in their place in the AL Central, 7.5-games back of the White Sox. The Royals will start Brady Singer tonight. Singer is 3-5 in his 12 starts with a 4.88 ERA and 5.91 road ERA. Singer has allowed 12 runs over his last three starts (14 innings). Cole Irvin will toe the rubber for the A's. Irvin is 4-7 in his 12 starts with a 3.89 ERA. Irvine is coming off a nice start at Colorado where he allowed just one run over six innings for the Win. I'll take the A's here tonight at home with the slightly better starter on the hill. Play Oakland. |
06-11-21 | Angels -134 v. Diamondbacks | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
Interleague action here on Friday has the LA Angels vising the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Angels are in fourth in the AL West, 6-games back of division leading Oakland. The Angels have played much better of late, winning three straight and seven of their last 10 games. The Arizona Diamondbacks are done for this year, they play in the very competitive NL West where they are in last place, 19-games back. They have lost seven straight games and eight of their last 10 games. The Angels start Shohei Ohtani, who is 2-1 in his eight starts. Ohtani has a 2.76 ERA and has allowed more than two runs just once in his last five starts. Merrill Kelly starts for the D'backs. Kelly is 2-6 in his 12 starts with a 5.12 ERA. Kelly has allowed nine earned runs over his last 12 2/3 innings. Hard to be on the D'backs side as bad as they have played. Take the LA Angels. |
06-11-21 | 76ers v. Hawks +1.5 | Top | 127-111 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
This Eastern Conference series moves to Atlanta tonight for game three as the Hawks look to take 2-1 advantage and hold home court against the Sixers. The Sixers rebounded from their game one loss at home with a 118-102 win in game two. The Hawks find themselves a 1.5 point home dog here tonight. Atlanta has been a good covering team at home, going 25-13 and 20-6 ATS over their last 26 at home. Philly forward Joel Embiid always seems to be the focal point with his injuries. Embiid is questionable with a knee injury tonight. The Hawks have only trailed at the half in one playoff game and that was game two vs Philly. This is a team that gets out of the gate fast and I look for that again here tonight. This Hawks team very good at home and I'll take them as a short home dog. Play Atlanta. |
06-11-21 | 76ers v. Hawks UNDER 224.5 | 127-111 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 7 m | Show
This Eastern Conference series moves to Atlanta tonight for game three as the Hawks look to take 2-1 advantage and hold home court against the Sixers. As for the total, the Sixers have gone under in four of their last five games. They are also 4-12 O/U in their last 16 games as a road favorite. Atlanta has gone under in six of their last seven games as a playoff dog. They are also 2-8 O/U in their last 10 overall games. I'll take the UNDER here tonight. |

06-10-21 | Clippers +3.5 v. Jazz | Top | 111-117 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 32 m | Show |

06-10-21 | Clippers v. Jazz OVER 222 | 111-117 | Win | 100 | 11 h 5 m | Show
The LA Clippers lost game one of this Western Conference semifinals at Utah, 112-109. The Jazz trailed 47-60 at the half but rallied in the third quarter to tie the game heading into the fourth. The Jazz held a large lead but the Clippers closed the final to three points, right on the number. Donovan Mitchell scored 45 points for the Jazz in the win. The Jazz did this without their star player in Mike Conley, who missed the game with a hamstring injury. Conley is questionable for tonight's contest. Despite the loss, the good news for the Clippers was that DeMarcus Cousins made his postseason debut and finished with six points in four minutes. The Jazz have been a good over play recently, with six of their last seven home games going over. In addition, eight of their last nine playoff games as a favorite have gone over. Game one was right on the over/under number and I expect tonight's game to get over the number. Take OVER. |
06-10-21 | Rockies v. Marlins UNDER 7.5 | 4-11 | Loss | -114 | 8 h 0 m | Show
Colorado has split the first two games of their series with the Marlins, losing Tuesday 2-6 and then winning last night, 4-3. The Rockies have won six of their last 10 games. Miami has fallen lately, winning just twice in their last 10 games and now in last place in the NL East, 7 1/2 games back of the Mets. The Rockies will start Chi Chi Gonzalez tonight. Gonzalez is 1-2 with a 4.42 ERA. He's pitched well of late, allowing just two runs over his last 13 innings of work. Miami will start Trevor Rogers tonight. Rogers has been one of the best for the fish, posting a 6-3 record in his 12 starts with a 1.97 ERA and a 1.71 ERA at home. Rogers has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last six starts. Rogers will keep this game lower scoring and if Gonzalez can pitch like he has lately, this game will go UNDER. |
06-09-21 | Royals +135 v. Angels | 1-6 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 52 m | Show
The Kansas City Royals have dropped four straight games after Tuesday night's 1-8 loss to the Angels. The Royals are still in 3rd place in the AL Central, but have dropped back to 7.5-games back of the White Sox. The Angels have won two straight and seven of their last 10 games. They still sit in fourth in the AL West, 6.5-games back of the A's. Brad Keller will start today for the Royals. Keller is 6-4 in his 12 starts with a 5.50 ERA. However, Keller has been much better of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in each of his last eight starts. Griffin Canning will start for the Halos. Canning is 3-4 in his nine starts with a 5.71 ERA. He's been a bit worse at home, posting a 6.35 ERA. We get a small dog price here today with the Royals who I believe have the better starter going. That makes this a live dog. Play Kansas City. |
06-09-21 | Blue Jays v. White Sox -151 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -151 | 9 h 24 m | Show |
The White Sox won their 2nd game in a row and seventh of their last 10 games with the win over the Jays on Tuesday, 6-1. They still hold a somewhat comfortable 4-game lead in the AL Central. The Jays have now lost two straight and have fallen back to 7-games behind AL East leading Tampa Bay. The Blue Jays will start Alek Manoah today. Manoah is 1-0 in his two starts and has a 3.86 ERA. After an initial start where he allowed just two hits and no runs to the Yankees he got bounced out early by the Marlins after 3 1/3 innings by allowing four hits and four run including three home runs. Lance Lynn toes the rubber for the Sox. Lynn having a excellent season with a 7-1 record after 10 starts and a 1.38 ERA with 0.937 WHIP. Lynn has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last six starts. Not a bad price here today with a excellent team and excellent starter. Play Chicago. |
06-09-21 | Mets -125 v. Orioles | 14-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show
The Mets took the short end of a 3-10 loss on Tuesday night at Baltimore. The loss dropped the Mets to 28-24 as they still sit atop the NL East, 2.5 games ahead of the Braves. The are out of the race in the A.L, now 16-games back in the East. However, they have still won two straight after Tuesday evening. The Mets look to send Taijuan Walker to the hill today. Walker is 4-2 in his 10 starts with a 2.17 ERA and 1.056 WHIP. Walker coming off one of his worst starts of the season, allowing seven hits and three earned runs in a 3-4 loss at San Diego. Matt Harvey will toe the rubber for the O's. Harvey is 3-6 in his 12 starts with a lofty 6.62 ERA. Harvey had one of his best starts last time out, but only went three innings. He allowed just two hits and one run to the Twins. I don't see the Mets losing two straight to the Orioles, especially against their one time starter in Harvey. Play New York. |
06-09-21 | Storm v. Dream +8.5 | 95-71 | Loss | -101 | 8 h 15 m | Show
The defending champion Seattle Storm are off to another good start this season at 7-2 and just a half game back of WNBA leader Connecticut. The Atlanta Dream are 4-4 to start their season and have a -2.6 point differential on the year. The Dream are looking to snap a 2-game losing streak which came on the heals of a four-game win streak. This team can score, evidenced by their 90+ ppg average during that four game win streak. Yet here are the Storm, laying 8.5 points tonight on the road. Not sure why the line is that high with the Dream being a very competitive team. Plus, the Storm have just a +4.8 point differential. I'll take the home team here plus these generous points. Play Atlanta. |
06-08-21 | Clippers v. Jazz -4 | 109-112 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 3 m | Show
The LA Clippers had to survive seven games to advance to this stage of the playoffs. Dallas turned out to be much more difficult then the Clippers might of thought as they lost three home games and faced two elimination games. Now they have to face the top seed in the West, Utah. The Jazz have the third best defense in the league thanks to Rudy Gobert, likely the top defensive player in the league. The Clippers will have to do a better job defensively or Utah will kill them from 3-point arc, as Dallas did. Dallas allowed the second fewest 3-point attempts in the league and that could be an issue for a Clippers team that doesn't drive the paint all that much. A lot of questions should be answered here in game one. For me, I'll take the Jazz against a Clipper team that was very inconsistent. Play Utah. |
06-08-21 | Clippers v. Jazz OVER 220.5 | 109-112 | Win | 100 | 12 h 41 m | Show

A lot of questions should be answered here in game one. For me, the Clippers are a long shooting team and that will be the key to this over/under. Utah defends the paint better then the Perimeter and that's the difference here. Play the OVER. |

06-08-21 | Golden Knights v. Avalanche OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Vegas Golden Knights tied this series at 2-2 after a commanding win in game four. The Knights got the hat trick from Jonathan Marchessault and another outstanding performance from goalie Marc-Andre Fluery. Tonight the venue shifts back to Denver where the Avs have been about unbeatable. They beat VGK in game one, 7-1. Both teams are really heating up the shooting and aggressive play. Tonight we get a 5.5 total and I expect this game to go over that number. Play OVER. |
06-08-21 | Hawks v. 76ers -5.5 | Top | 102-118 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
The Philadelphia 76ers look to even this best of seven series at 1-game apiece here on Tuesday. The Hawks stole game one in Philly and now can at least know they go back to Atlanta tied at worse. The big question here in game two is the health of Sixer's Joel Embiid. It was Trae Young that stole the show in game one, scoring 35 points and having 10 assist. Embiid played game one and played well with 39 points and nine rebounds, though he was only on the floor for 38 minutes. Officially, Embiid is questionable tonight with that bad knee. Despite being way down, the Sixers showed heart in coming back to make the final more respectable and after sleepwalking through most of game one, I expect to see a different Philly team here in game two. Look to see a different attitude starting this game tonight. Play Philadelphia. |
06-08-21 | Astros v. Red Sox +110 | 7-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 7 m | Show
Houston Astros on the heals of the Oakland A's in the drive for first place in the AL West. The Astros trail the A's by just one game with third place Seattle 5-games back. The Boston Red Sox have won five straight games and pulled within 1/2 game of AL East leader Tampa Bay. The Astros start Framber Valdez today. Valdez is 1-0 in his two stars with a 1.64 ERA. The Sox will start Martin Perez. Perez is 4-2 in his 11 starts with a 3.089 ERA. Perez is coming off a strong 7 2/3 innings vs the Astros where he allowed six hits and no runs for the win. Perez just beat the Astros and I look for him to shut them down again at home. Play Boston. |
06-07-21 | Nuggets v. Suns OVER 221 | 105-122 | Win | 100 | 9 h 6 m | Show
Game one the NBA Western Semifinals here as the Suns host the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets got past the stubborn Trailblazers while the Suns downed defending Champion LA Lakers. The Nuggets are led by star player Nikola Jokic who had a great first round. Michael Porter also emerged as a breakout player in their first round series. The Suns will rely more on Devon Booker in this series as Chris Paul has been banged-up but should play tonight. And of course the Nuggets again will be without star player Jamal Murray who is out for the rest of the playoffs with a ACL injury. This is going to be a tough series, one that could easily go seven games. This series also will be the Denver offense against the Phoenix defense. Tonight, I see the Suns offense to get enough points to go with the Nuggets offense to get this game over the total. Play OVER. |
06-07-21 | Nuggets v. Suns -5 | 105-122 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show

06-07-21 | Bucks v. Nets OVER 236.5 | 86-125 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 33 m | Show
Game two in the NBA 2nd round between the Bucks and Nets as Milwaukee looks to even the series at 1-1 before returning home for game three. The Nets took game one, 115-107 in a low scoring game for two of the highest scoring teams in the NBA. The line has dropped from game one as the Nets now a 1.5-point favorite and the total at 234.5 in this Eastern Conference Semifinal. One big loss for the Nets is that of James Harden. Harden pulled up lame in the opening minute of game one with a hamstring issue and will not play here in game two. Both these teams have been hot with Brooklyn winning 10 of the last 11 and the Bucks going 12-2 their last 14. I don't expect the Bucks offense to be flat like it was in game one as they scored 12 fewer points then their season average. Even with their poor shooting they weren't too far off in game one. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 34 points and 11 rebounds. I fully expect a big rebound game here tonight out of the Bucks, especially with Harden on the shelf for this one. I look for a much higher scoring contest tonight. Play OVER. |
06-07-21 | Bucks +1 v. Nets | Top | 86-125 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 33 m | Show |

06-06-21 | Cubs v. Giants UNDER 8 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 29 m | Show
The Giants have now won three straight and eight of their last 10 games to open up a 2-game lead in the NL West division over the Padres. The Cubs dropped into a tie for first in the AL Central with their loss to the Giants on Saturday. That makes three losses in a row for the Cubs. Kyle Hendricks starts today for the Cubs. Hendricks is 6-4 in his 11 starts with a 4.62 ERA. Hendricks has not allowed more than three runs in any of his last four starts. The Giants will send Johnny Cueto to the hill. Cueto is 4-1 in his eight starts with a 3.45 ERA. He's been a bit better at home with a 2.59 ERA in four starts, a 3-1 record and 0.904 WHIP. I like this game to go under today. |
06-06-21 | Twins v. Royals OVER 9.5 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
Minnesota took last night's contest from the Royals, 5-4. They still trail 1-2 and can even the series with a win here today. Game one they scored 11, game two 19 and yesterday nine runs. The Royals are still 5-games back in the AL Central while the Twins are still in last, 12-games back. Bailey Ober makes just his second start of the season for the Twins. His first was rocky, going just four innings vs the White Sox and allowing five hits and four runs. Brady Singer will toe the rubber for the Royals. Singer is 3-4 in 11 starts with a 5.06 ERA. He's allowed 10 earned runs over his last 8 1/3 innings of work. I like this one to go OVER today. |
06-05-21 | Bucks v. Nets UNDER 239.5 | 107-115 | Win | 100 | 8 h 11 m | Show
Much anticipated clash here between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. These could be the best two teams in the NBA as they meet here in the NBA 2nd Round playoffs. These teams met three times during the regular season with the Bucks taking two of three. Two of the three games went over 240 points. This is the BIG three of the Nets vs Antetokounmpo of the Bucks. The Nets had the best offense during the regular season and that was with each of their three big stars missing significant time due to injuries. The Bucks will be without guard Donte DiVencenzo who has a tendon injury in his foot and will miss the rest of the playoffs. Forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo will miss a few weeks with a foot injury. Should be a great series between arguably the two best teams in the NBA. I'll lay the small number here at home with the Nets. Play Brooklyn. |
06-05-21 | Cubs v. Giants -162 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
The Chicago Cubs look to snap a 2-game losing streak here today at San Francisco. The Cubs are still in 1st place in the NL Central with a 1-game lead over the Brewers and 1.5-games over the Cardinals. The Giants are in a 3-way dogfight in the NL West as they sit in first place. They lead 2nd place San Diego by 1-game and third place LA Dodgers by 2-games. The Giants have taken back first place thanks to a 8-2 streak over their last 10 games. The Cubs will start Kohl Stewart. Stewart makes his second start of the season. He went five innings in his first start, allowing one run and three hits for the win over the Padres. The Giants start Kevin Gausman who is 6-0 in his 11 starts with a 1.40 ERA and 0.792 WHIP. Gausman has allowed no runs over his last three starts (17 innings) with 24 KO's and just four walks. Take the Giants here today. |
06-05-21 | Rays -144 v. Rangers | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Rays saw their lead in the AL East dip to just one-game after losing last night at the Texas Rangers, 4-5. The Rays have a better road record then at home. They are 15-13 at home this year and 21-10 on the road. The Rangers are in last place in the AL West with a 23-36 record and 11-games back of the A's. The Rays will start Rich Hill who is 4-2 on the season with a 3.32 ERA. Hill has allowed just three total runs over his last five starts (34 2/3 innings). The Rangers will start Kolby Allard who makes his second start of the season. Allard went four innings in his first start at Seattle, allowing just two hits and two runs but absorbing the loss. Hill and Rays are a lethal combination, one I won't miss on. Play Tampa Bay. |
06-05-21 | Astros -106 v. Blue Jays | 2-6 | Loss | -106 | 4 h 44 m | Show
The Houston Astros are in 2nd place in the AL West, one-game back of the Oakland A's. This despite having best run differential in the division (+70). Compare that to Oakland's +5 differential. The Toronto Blue Jays are in 4th in the AL East, 5-games back of division leading Tampa Bay. The Jays got destroyed yesterday by the Astros, 1-13. Houston will start Jose Urquidy today. Urquidy is 4-2 on the season with a 3.02 ERA and 0.987 WHIP. Urquidy has allowed just three total runs over his last four starts (23 2/3 innings). Ross Stripling will start for the Jays. Stripling is 1-3 on the season with a 6.30 ERA. Stripling has struggled this year to find any consistency while Urquidy has been the model of consistency of late. Play HOUSTON. |
06-05-21 | Sky v. Sparks UNDER 159 | 63-68 | Win | 100 | 4 h 38 m | Show
The Chicago Sky have struggled out of the gate to a 2-6 record and 11th place in the WNBA. The Sky have lost six straight games and have a point differential of -1.9 ppg. The LA Sparks are in 7th place with a 3-3 record and are coming off a win over the Indiana Fever, 98-63. Both these teams average the same 77.5 ppg this season. Yet we have a total close to 160. The Sky have gone under in their last six as the dog. They are also 3-8 O/U in their last 11 vs the Western Conference teams. LA has gone under in eight of their last nine games and 1-4 O/U their last five a favorite. I'm taking the UNDER here today. |

06-04-21 | Avalanche v. Golden Knights +103 | 2-3 | Win | 103 | 10 h 24 m | Show
VGK Golden Knights likely played their best game in the postseason in game two at Denver, but still lost 2-3 in OT. The Knights did just about everything right, but you can't fight the refs. The Knights had five penalties, the last coming in a controversial OT slashing that led to the game winning goal by Colorado. The Avs now take a 2-0 lead back to Vegas tonight at the T-Mobile Arena. The Knights also hit the post with five shots. That's five shots that came inches from goals. Marc-Andre Fluery played a great game but the power plays led to two of the three Avs goals. Tonight. VGK has to win or face going down 0-3 to the Stanley Cup favorites Colorado. T-Mobile Arena will at full 100% capacity for the first time in over a year and that means the place will be rocking. I'm taking the Knights here tonight as a even money dog or slightly better. Play Vegas. |
06-04-21 | Reds v. Cardinals -134 | Top | 6-4 | Loss | -134 | 10 h 4 m | Show |
NL Central match here between the Reds and Cardinals. The Reds are 6-games back of the division leading Cubs while the Cardinals are just 1.5 games back in second place. The Reds will start struggling Louis Castillo. Castillo, one a top starter or Ace on this club, is 1-8 in his 11 starts with a 7.22 ERA. He's been even worse on the road with a 0-4 mark and 8.73 ERA. The Cardinals will start Kwang-Hyn Kim. Kim has just a 1-3 record in his eight starts, but a respectable 3.65 ERA and the team has won five of his eight starts. He's been even better at home with a team record 3-0 and his 1.84 ERA. I'll take Kim and the Cards here against a struggling Castillo. Play St Louis. |
06-04-21 | Twins v. Royals -116 | 5-14 | Win | 100 | 10 h 60 m | Show
Not many people would have thought the Twins would be in last place in the AL Central at this point of the season. But there they sit, 12-games back of the White Sox. They have lost three straight games, including last night to the Royals, 5-6. The Royals are in third place in the division, five games back of the White Sox. The Royals have won four straight games and seven of their last 10. The Twins will start Matt Shoemaker today. Shoemaker is 2-6 in his last 10 starts. Shoemaker has a 5.90 ERA and 1.431 WHIP. The Royals start Brad Keller. Keller is 5-4 with a 5.68 ERA. Should be another close game, but I'll go against the Twins here in this one. Take Kansas City. |
06-04-21 | Rays -125 v. Rangers | 4-5 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 54 m | Show
The TB Rays continue to hold onto first place in the AL East with a 2-game lad over the Boston Red Sox. The Rays are the hottest team in the East with a 7-3 record over the last 10 games. The Texas Rangers are in last place in the AL West, 11-games back of the A's. The Rangers have been ice cold, losing nine straight games. The Rangers will look to Kyle Gibson to turn their fortunes around. Gibson is 3-0 in his 10 starts with a 2.24 ERA. Gibson has been the best starter the Rangers have had. Josh Fleming will toe the rubber for the Rays. Fleming is 2-2 in his four starts with a nifty 1.69 ERA and a 0.00 ERA in his one road start. Have to side here with the Rays and Fleming. Rangers just playing too poorly right now. |
06-04-21 | Dodgers v. Braves +122 | 9-5 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 8 m | Show
The LA Dodgers have struggled at times this season and right now they have won just five of their last 10 games. They sit in third place in the NL West, 2-games back of the Giants. The Atlanta Braves are in second place in the NL East, 3.5-games back of the Mets. The Braves have won six of their last 10 games. The Dodgers will start Julio Urias today. Urias is 7-2 in his 11 starts with a 3.61 ERA. The Braves will counter with Ian Anderson who is 4-2 in his 10 starts with a 3.27 ERA. The Braves are a perfect 5-0 in his five home starts with Anderson having a 3.07 ERA. I'll take the Braves a small home dog here today. Take Atlanta. |
06-03-21 | Suns v. Lakers UNDER 207.5 | 113-100 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Two of the lowest scoring and better defenses here so it's not wonder we see the lowest totals pretty much in the playoffs. This has been a low scoring series and now both sides missing some of their best players. Chris Paul has been hurting for the Suns and Anthony Davis still hurting for the Lakers. Historically Game 6 have been under plays, doing so about 57% of the time. I'll take the Suns and Lakers UNDER here tonight. |
06-03-21 | Fever v. Sparks -5 | 63-98 | Win | 100 | 5 h 15 m | Show
The Indiana Fever are dead last in the WNBA with a 1-8 record. They have lost four straight games and have the worst point differential in the WNBA with a -12.7 ppg. Now they have to play the 7th place LA Sparks team that is 2-3 on the season. The Sparks had one two straight games over the Chicago Sky before losing time out to the Dallas Wings, 69-79. The Fever have lost their last four games by an average of 22.5 ppg. Don't expect much fight out of the visiting Indiana Fever tonight either. Play LA Sparks. |
06-03-21 | Tigers v. White Sox UNDER 8 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 19 h 13 m | Show
Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox begin this four-game set here on Thursday. The Tigers had Wednesday off while the White Sox saw their game at Cleveland postponed. The Sox have a 2.5 game lead in the AL Central over the Cleveland Indians. The White Sox have lost two straight games but have won seven of their last 10. The Sox also have the best run differential in baseball with a +79 mark. Detroit is in fourth place in the Central with a 23-32 record. They trail the White Sox by 10-games and are 5-5 in their last 10 overall. Casey Mize will start for the Tigers. Mize is 3-3 in his 10 starts with a 3.28 ERA. He's been even better on the road where his ERA drops to 2.61 and his WHIP to 0.974. Mize has allowed just one run in each of his last three starts and four of his last five. Lance Lynn was scheduled to start Wednesday and now goes tonight. Lynn has been excellent this year with a 6-1 record, 1.37 ERA and 0.930 WHIP. Lynn has allowed just three total runs over his last five starts (28 innings). Should be a low scoring game with these two starters on the hill today. Play UNDER. |
06-03-21 | Nuggets v. Blazers -5 | Top | 126-115 | Loss | -103 | 19 h 43 m | Show |
It took two OT periods, but the Denver Nuggets took game five, 140-147 as Denver is one game away from the series win. The Nuggets had numerous leads of 9-points or more in game five including the first OT, but Portland kept coming back and back. The Nuggets even led by 20-points in the 2nd quarter, only to see the Blazers rally. Denver continues to be without Jamal Murray who is done for the rest of the playoffs. Portland has their back to the wall here tonight and I like them to respond and even the series at 3-3. Play Portland. |
06-03-21 | Hurricanes v. Lightning OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 14 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Lightning return home for game three of this 2nd round series after taking both games in Raleigh and a commanding 2-0 lead. Both Tampa victories were by the same 2-1 score. Carolina had a good series against Nashville, scoring at least three goals in each of their four wins. In fact, four of the six games vs the Predators went over. Tampa Bay can also score well, as they did in the Florida series with 24 goals in the six games. While the first two in this series were low scoring I see the change in venue will also change this to a higher scoring series. Play OVER. |
06-02-21 | Mavs v. Clippers -7 | Top | 105-100 | Loss | -113 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
It looked like the Dallas Mavericks were going to walk away with this series after taking both games 1 and 2 in LA. Then the series moved to Dallas where the Clippers returned the favor, stealing games 3 and 4 on the Mavs home court. Now we go back to the Staples Center all tied at 2-2. Dallas could be without Luka Doncic who is battling a neck injury. Doncic looks like he could play tonight, but how effective he will be remains to be seen. With Doncic hurting in game four the Mavs offense sputtered. Leonard has been great for the Clippers this playoff series. These teams are slower paced teams and that remains so in the playoffs. Still, the seven points may look like a lot for the Clippers to lay here tonight. But not for me, with Doncic likely not near 100% and the Clippers riding a two-game win streak I'll take them here tonight. Play LA Clippers. |
06-02-21 | Canadiens v. Jets -136 | 5-3 | Loss | -136 | 10 h 50 m | Show
NHL 2nd round action here has the Winnipeg Jets hosting the Montreal Canadiens in game one of their seven game set. Despite losing their last five games of the regular season, the Canadiens pulled the upset in round one over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Habs were down 1-3 in that series and came back for the improbable win. The Winnipeg Jets made quick work of the favored Edmonton Oilers in their first round series. The Jets swept the Oilers, 4-0, the last three all in OT. The Jets are the well rested team here, having swept their series while the Canadiens had to go seven. The Jets are also 6-3 vs the Canadiens this year. Good spot here for the Jets in game one. Play Winnipeg. |
06-02-21 | Marlins v. Blue Jays UNDER 8.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 58 m | Show
Miami Marlins look to snap a 4-game losing skid here tonight against the Blue Jays. The Marlins are 5-games back of first place NY Mets. Strangely, the Marlins have the divisions best run differential at +6 runs. The Blue Jays are 5-5 over their last 10 games and sit in 4th in the AL East, 5.5-games back of the Rays. Miami sends Pablo Lopez to the hill. Lopez is 1-3 in his 11 starts but has a nifty 2.71 ERA on the season. Lopez has allowed just four total runs over his last 19 innings. The Jays will start Alek Manoah, who makes just his second start this year. Manoah went six strong innings in his first start, allowing no runs and just hits for the win over the Yankees. I like this game to be a tight, low scoring one. Play the UNDER. |
06-02-21 | Twins v. Orioles OVER 9.5 | 3-6 | Loss | -116 | 6 h 56 m | Show
Battle of last place teams here on Wednesday has the last place AL Central Twins taking on the last place AL East Orioles. The Orioles have lost nine of their last 10 games while the Twins have won six of their last 10 games. The Twins will start Randy Dobnak, who is 1-1 in his only two starts. Dobnak has a 4.50 ERA. Matt Harvey will toe the rubber for the O's. Harvey is 3-6 in his 11 starts with a 6.84 ERA and 1.643 WHIP. Harvey has allowed at least five runs in each of his last four starts while not lasting over 4 2/3 innings in any of those outings. Harvey is long gone from his glory days with the Mets. Should be plenty of runs in this game. Play OVER. |
06-02-21 | Twins -136 v. Orioles | 3-6 | Loss | -136 | 6 h 55 m | Show
Battle of last place teams here on Wednesday has the last place AL Central Twins taking on the last place AL East Orioles. Play Minnesota here today. |
06-02-21 | Mets v. Diamondbacks OVER 8 | 7-6 | Win | 100 | 3 h 30 m | Show
The NL East 1st place NY Mets blew a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 9th and lost in extra innings last night to Arizona. The Mets are still 3.5-games in first place. Arizona got a rare win last night, only their 2nd in their last 10 games. They also have the worst run differential in the NL West with a -52 and not surprisingly they are 14.5-games back of division leading San Francsico. The Mets will start David Peterson today. Peterson is 1-4 in nine starts with a 4.91 ERA. The D'backs will start Madison Bumgarner who is 4-5 in his 11 starts with a 5.15 ERA. Neither starter all that good this year and with that I'll be taking the OVER here today. Play OVER. |
06-02-21 | Denmark v. Germany +116 | 1-1 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 50 m | Show
This tune-up game for the European Championships in mid-June finds both Denmark and Germany set to work on parts of their game that will improve them moving forward. Denmark comes into this game in fine form, winning three World Cup Qualifiers in a row and scoring 14 goals in process. They beat Austria 4-0 and Moldova, 8-0. Germany is 3-2-1 over their last six games in all competitions. Denmark playing fine football but Germany needs a win here more to raise their credentials as they get ready for the European Championships. Play Germany |
06-01-21 | Angels v. Giants -150 | 8-1 | Loss | -150 | 12 h 36 m | Show
Interleague action here on Tuesday has the LA Angels taking on the San Francisco Giants. The Giants have won four straight, including Monday's game over the Angels, 6-1. The Angels are now six games back in the AL West after Sunday's loss to the Giants. The Angels will start Andrew Heaney today. Heaney is 2-3 after nine starts with a 5.24 ERA. Heaney has allowed 12 runs over his last 12 innings of work. Alex Wood has found new life in San Francisco. Wood is 5-2 in his eight starts with a 2.44 ERA and 2.08 home ERA. Wood and the Giants just too good for the Angels here today. I'll take the home club here. Play San Francisco. |
06-01-21 | Mets -112 v. Diamondbacks | 5-6 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 55 m | Show
The NY Mets have opened up a three-game lead in the NL East over the Braves thanks in part to a four-game win streak. The Mets are coming off a game 1 win over the D'backs, 6-2. The Mets have now allowed just eight runs over their last five games. Marcus Stroman will start for the Mets today. Stroman is 4-4 in his 10 starts with a 2.47 ERA. He's been ever better at home with a 2-1 record and a 2.02 ERA. The Arizona Diamonbacks are already out of the running in the competitive NL West. The D'backs are 15.5 games back of the Giants. Arizona has lost nine of their last 10 games. The will send Caleb Smith to the hill tonight. Hill is 0-1 in his only start, allowing five hits and three earned runs over three innings in a 0-7 loss to the Padres. Don't look for things to get better tonight against the 1st place Mets. Play New York. |
06-01-21 | Blazers v. Nuggets -2 | 140-147 | Win | 100 | 8 h 19 m | Show
Game five of this Western Conference playoff matchup between the Portland Trailblazers and the Denver Nuggets. The series is tied at 2-2 as the Nuggets host this pivotal game five. The Blazers won game four to tie the series in a blowout victory, 115-95. The Nuggets will need a more inspired effort here on Tuesday. With Jamal Murray out until next season, that means the role players need to step up their efforts. Denver couldn't play much worse then they did in game four, hitting a dismal 29% from the 3-point arc and 34% overall from the field. Michael Porter was the person Denver looked for to pick up the Murray void and that didn't happen. Porter had just three points in game four in his 22 minutes of action. I'm taking Denver to bounce back here before the home crowd on Tuesday. They know what needs to be done and it has to be done tonight. Play Denver. |
06-01-21 | Sparks v. Wings +1 | 69-79 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show
The Dallas Wings host the LA Sparks tonight in WNBA action. The Sparks are currently 7th in the WNBA standings with a 2-2 record. The Sparks opened the season with a pair of losses to this Wings team, 71-94 and then to the LV Aces, 69-97. They then bounced back with wins at the Chicago Sky, 76-61 and 82-79 to even their record at 2-2. The Dallas Wings are 1-4 on the season. Despite their losing record they still have a positive point differential of +0.6. All four of their losses have been by seven points or fewer. The Wings opened the season with a win over the LA Sparks, 94-71 and have since lost four straight. I look for the Wings to get back in the win column tonight against a team they dominated on the road to start the season. Play Dallas. |
06-01-21 | Lightning v. Hurricanes -110 | 2-1 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 24 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes looking for a win in this second round NHL playoff series with the Lightning after losing game one, 1-2. Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevsky was the difference maker in game one for the Lightning, stopping 37 of 38 shots. Carolina opened at pick here in game two and has moved to a small favorite. I see that as value here as the Hurricanes are still an excellent team that knows they can't lost both games at home to start this series or face big troubles heading to Tampa Bay. I look for the Canes to bounce back with a win in game two. Play Carolina. |
06-01-21 | Celtics v. Nets -12.5 | 109-123 | Win | 100 | 5 h 22 m | Show
Bad blood spilled over into the stands in the last game between these teams with the fan and Kyrie Irving getting into some post play fun. That could come back into tonight's game as the venue returns here to Brooklyn after a Nets blowout at the TD Garden in game four, 141-126. The Nets shot 57.8% from the field and 59% from the 3-point stripe. The Nets can wrap up this series here tonight as they lead 3-1 in the best of seven match. The Celtics will be without guard Jaylen Brown who is out with a wrist injury. Center Robert Williams was downgraded to doubtful with a ankle injury as was Kemba Walker also downgraded to doubtful with a knee injury. WIth all the hurts going on with Boston and the Nets flying high after game three, this has all the markings of blowout win and series clicher by the Nets. Play Brooklyn. |
06-01-21 | Twins -154 v. Orioles | 4-7 | Loss | -154 | 9 h 56 m | Show
The Twins and Orioles continue their series here on Tuesday as the Twins took Sunday's game in 10 innings, 3-2. The Twins have won seven of their last 10 games as they sit 10.5-games back in the AL Central. The O's have now lost 14 straight games and 18 of their last 19 as they sit in last place in the AL East, 17.5-games back of the Rays. The Twins will start Michael Pineda tonight. Pineda is 3-2 on the season with a 2.62 ERA. The O's will counter with Bruce Zimmermann who is 1-3 in his eight starts. Zimmermann has a 5.68 ERA and a slightly better 5.52 ERA at home. O's just can't get any breaks these days. I'll take the Twins here today. Play Minnesota. |
05-31-21 | Jazz -5.5 v. Grizzlies | Top | 120-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show |
Memphis stole game one of this best of seven series in Utah and since then it's been all Utah as they now lead 2-1 and have regained home court advantage. Tonight's game could be the end for the Grizzlies. A Utah win means the Jazz return home with a 3-1 lead and likely the end to this series. While the Jazz started slow in game one they came back late to make it close. Then the Jazz won games two and three by double-digits. The Jazz leading scorer in Donovan Mitchell missed game one but returned in game two and that made a world of difference. Memphis has played well, but I'm afraid not well enough. I'm going to take the Jazz vs the spread (-5.5 points) and also lay the -2.20 on the Money Line with the Jazz. |
05-31-21 | Islanders v. Bruins -195 | 4-3 | Loss | -195 | 8 h 32 m | Show
Game two of this second round NHL Playoff series between the NY Islanders and the Boston Bruins. The Islanders dropped game one of this series 2-5. The Bruins are hot, winning five straight games in row. David Pastrnak had a hat trick. Goalie Tuukka Rask turned back 20 saves for the Bruins and improved to 5-1 in the postseason with a 1.84 GAA. The Islanders are now 0-4 in their last four games against the Bruins. They are also 4-10 in their last 14 road games. Bruins are 11-1 in their last 12 games at home. Stiff price here today, but the Bruins are the play for me. Play Boston. |
05-31-21 | A's -122 v. Mariners | 5-6 | Loss | -122 | 7 h 47 m | Show
AL West action has the first place Oakland A's taking on the third place Seattle Mariners. The A's lead 2nd place Houston by 1.5 games and the M's by 3.5 games despite losing their last two. The Mariners having climbed to third place thanks to a four-game winning streak. The A's will start James Kaprielian. Kaprielian is 2-0 in his three starts with a 1.53 ERA and 0.905 WHIP. Kaprielian is coming off a seven inning outing over Seattle where he allowed the M's just two hits and no runs for the WIN. Logan Gilbert will start for the Mariners. Gilbert is 0-2 in his three starts with a 7.59 ERA. He's even a bit worse at home with a 9.45 ERA. I like the A's here with Kaprielian on the hill. Play Oakland. |
05-31-21 | Red Sox v. Astros +101 | 2-11 | Win | 101 | 4 h 3 m | Show
The Boston Red Sox in a battle in the AL East with the Rays and Yankees. The Sox are in second place, 1-game back of the Rays. They have won three straight and seven of their last 10 games. The Houston Astros have dropped to 1.5-games back in the AL West behind the Oakland A's. The Astros are the only team in the West division with a positive run differential as they sit at +48 runs. Boston starts Eduardo Rodriguez today. Rodriguez is 5-3 in nine starts with a 5.06 ERA. Jose Urquidy will toe the rubber for the Astros. He's 3-2 in his eight starts with a 3.22 ERA and a slightly better 3.18 ERA at home. Urquidy hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his last four starts. The Astros are home here with the better starter and as a small dog. I'll take that price and team. Play Houston. |
05-31-21 | Rays +113 v. Yankees | 3-1 | Win | 113 | 1 h 58 m | Show
The NY Yankees have lost three straight games and have dropped back to third in the AL East, 4.5-games back of the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays have won four straight and nine of their last 10 games to regain first in the East. The Rays also have the best run difference in the division with a +61. The Rays will start Rich Hill today. Hill is 3-2 in his 10 starts with a 3.63 ERA. Hill has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last six starts. The Yanks will send Jameson Taillon to the hill. Taillon is 1-3 in his nine starts with a 5.06 ERA. Rays a slight dog here today and as hot as they have been that make them a live dog. Play Tampa Bay. |
05-30-21 | Golden Knights v. Avalanche -178 | Top | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Vegas in a tough spot here in game one at Colorado to start this best of seven 2nd round series. Vegas had to go a difficult 7 games to win over Minnesota after leading 3-1 in that series. It was a physical series and likely took a lot out of Vegas. Now, they have to play arguably the best team in the NHL and Stanley Cup favorite in Colorado. They had just one day off to prepare and travel for tonight's game one. Meanwhile, the Avs swept St Louis in four straight and have lots of time off to rest and prepare. The only good news for Vegas was the return of Max Pacioretty who netted the game winning goal against the Wild in game seven. That being said though, Vegas in a letdown spot here today and this Colorado team isn't the team to have a letdown against. I don't usually like laying these kinds of prices, but the situation calls for here it here tonight. Play Colorado in game one. |
05-30-21 | Sun -2 v. Lynx | Top | 74-79 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
The Connecticut Sun are the top team in the WNBA after a few weeks of play. The Sun are 6-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of defending WNBA Champion Seattle. The Sun average 83 ppg this year and have a +9.4 point differential. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Lynx are still looking for that first win of the season to go with their four losses. The Lynx are 0-2 on their home court and have a -8.8 point differential this season. Don't think the Lynx will get that first win here today against the top team in the league to this point. Take Connecticut. |
05-30-21 | Lightning v. Hurricanes -105 | 2-1 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 20 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Lightning continue defense of their Stanley Cup Championship as they play at the Carolina Hurricanes in this opening game of the NHL 2nd round playoffs. Tampa Bay got here by beating the Florida Panthers and the Hurricanes defeated Nashville. This is the fifth time in the last seven seasons that the Lightning have made the second round of the playoffs. Rookie Alex Nedeljkovic has started all six of the Hurricanes' postseason games, with a 2.22 GAA and .922 save percentage. He is also 2-1 in the past against the Lightning. The Canes average the third highest goals in the postseason (3.67) and allow the 6th lowest (2.67). The Lightning have lost three of last four visits to Carolina and I like today's price on the host. Play Carolina. |
05-30-21 | Royals v. Twins OVER 9.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 58 m | Show
vThe Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins both are trying to climb back in into the AL Central division. The Royals are 6.5 games back of the White Sox and the Twins are 10 games back. The Twins have won seven of their last 10 games to inch back closer. The Royals will start Brad Keller here today. Keller is 4-4 in his 10 starts with a 5.72 ERA and 1.730 WHIP. Matt Shoemaker will toe the rubber for the Twins today. Shoemaker has a 2-5 record in his nine starts with a 5.48 ERA and 1.413 WHIP. Shoemaker has been slightly worse at home, posting a 6.25 ERA and 1.516 WHIP. I like these two AL Central Middle dwellers to get some runs here today. I'm taking the OVER. |
05-30-21 | Orioles v. White Sox -1.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 3 h 21 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox have won three straight games and now sit atop of the AL Central by three games over the Indians. The Orioles, well they are in a free fall. The O's have lost 12 straight games and now are in last place in the AL East, 15.5 games back of first place. Not surprising, the O's will send Keegan Akin to the hill for his first start of the year. Akin was called up from Triple-A Norfolk on May 10th. Akin was 1-2 with a 4.56 ERA in August 2020, his first showing in the majors. The White Sox will counter with Lucas Giolito. Giolito is 4-4 in his 10 starts with a 4.04 ERA. He's been slightly better at home with a 3.19 ERA. Giolito has allowed one run or fewer in four of his last five starts. I like the White Sox in a romp here today. Play White Sox -1.5 Runs. |

05-30-21 | Orioles v. White Sox OVER 8.5 | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 20 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox have won three straight games and now sit atop of the AL Central by three games over the Indians. Giolito isn't as dominant as he has been in the past so he could give up some runs. However, I look for the Sox to get plenty of runs and this game go OVER. |
