05-13-22 | Mariners v. Mets -1.5 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 3 m | Show |
MIKE'S MLB GAME OF THE MONTH - TOP-RATED 10* RUNLINE The New York Mets are 7-1 straight up and 6-2 against the runline as favorites in series openers this season. I expect a strong outing from Mets righty Max Scherzer (4-1, 2.92 ERA) after seeing his unbeaten streak of 24 games coming to an end last Sunday. Seattle has lost five of left-hander Marco Gonzales' (1-4, 3.91 ERA) six starts this season, all but one by two or more runs. Gonzales has allowed five runs on 14 hits and six walks while serving up four homers over 11 1/3 innings over his last two starts. 10* PLAY ON NEW YORK METS -1.5. |
05-10-22 | Brewers -1.5 v. Reds | 5-4 | Loss | -123 | 10 h 28 m | Show
MIKE'S TUESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Cincinnati Reds have an MLB-worst six wins on the season and right-hander Hunter Greene (1-4, 8.71 ERA) has been getting smacked around on the regular. In his last start, Greene was tagged with eight runs on nine hits while serving up five home runs over only 2 2/3 innings on the mound, against this very same Milwaukee team. This looks like a great spot to back the Brewers to bounce back from three disappointing losses, including a 10-5 setback in the opener of this series Monday night. Brewers' righty Freddy Peralta (1-1, 5.09 ERA) has a respectable 3.70 ERA in 15 career outings (nine starts) against the Reds 8* play on Milwaukee Brewers -1.5. |
05-09-22 | Rockies v. Giants -1.5 | Top | 5-8 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
MIKE'S TOP-RATED 10* LATE NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The San Francisco Giants are 2-1 straight up and against the runline as home favorites of -200 or more. The Colorado Rockies are 1-3 SU and against the RL as underdogs and their opponent is a favorite of -200 or more. The Giants are 3-1 straight up and against the runline in left-hander Carlos Rodon's (3-1, 1.55 ERA) four starts as a favorite this year. 10* PLAY ON SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS. |
05-08-22 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Cubs | Top | 7-1 | Win | 100 | 15 h 52 m | Show |
MIKE'S TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY The Chicago Cubbs are reeling, coming into this game as losrs of seven of their last eight games. The Los Angeles Dodgers are rolling, coming off five five straight wins, all by two runs or more. The Dodgers are 4-1 SU and against the RL in Walker Buehler's five starts this year. Buehler (3-1, 2.12 ERA) has fanned 15 through 14 scoreless innings in his last two starts. 10* PLAY ON LOS ANGELES DODGERS -1.5. |
05-05-22 | Tigers +1.5 v. Astros | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 15 m | Show
MIKE'S TIGERS/ASTROS MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Houston Astros have picked up pace following a slow start and Detroit is heading in the opposite direction with just one win in its last nine games, but I think the Tigers can keep this close. Houston right-hander Jose Urquidy (2-1, 5.95 ERA) could certainly have had a better start to the year while Tigers' left-hander Tarik Skubal has posted a 3.05 ERA in four starts this season. They have won two of his four starts outright and Houston is batting only .202 while averaging 3.49 R/9 against left-handers. 8* PLAY ON DETROIT TIGERS +1.5. |
04-30-22 | Tigers v. Dodgers -1.5 | 5-1 | Loss | -150 | 20 h 25 m | Show
MIKE'S LATE NIGHT BLOWOUT @ THE BALLPARK BAILOUT The Los Angeles Dodgers returned home off a couple of losses at Arizona. They bounced back with a 5-1 win over the Tigers on Friday and I expect the Dodgers to close out the week strong. Dodgers' left-hander Clayton Kershaw is 3-0 with a 2.65 ERA in three starts this year. He has this Tigers roster limited to a combined .159 AVG and 19 strikeouts over 42 at bats and Detroit is averaging 2.69 R/9 against right-handers this season. Detroit right-hander Beau Brieske (0-1, 5.40 ERA) has made only one major league start, in which he allowed three runs on three hits (two homers) over five innings of a 3-2 loss to Colorado. This will most likely be an even tougher game for him, against one of the best teams in baseball. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
04-30-22 | Nationals v. Giants -1.5 | 3-9 | Win | 100 | 14 h 18 m | Show
MIKE'S NATS/GIANTS MLB RUNLINE RIPPER This looks like a good spot to back the San Francisco Giants after getting blown out in the opener of this series Friday night. Giants' right-hander Logan Webb (2-1, 2.96 ERA) is off to a very promising start to the year. He got the W against the Nats in Washington in his last start, despite not being at his best with three runs allowed over 6 2/3 innings. The Giants' still won 12-3, and today's Nats starter Joan Adon (1-3, 6.98 ERA) was tagged with five runs in four innings on the mound. Adon has given up four runs or more in three of four starts this year. 8* play on San Francisco Giants. |
04-29-22 | Tigers v. Dodgers -1.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 16 h 52 m | Show
MIKE'S BLOWOUT @ THE BALLPARK BAILOUT The Los Angeles Dodgers are 6-1 SU and against the runline as favorites of -200 or more. This is the second time a team is a -200 or more favorite against Detroit this season; the Yankees defeated them 4-2 on April 19. Detroit left-hander Tyler Alexander (0-2, 7.20 ERA) was slapped around by Colorado in his last start, with Alexander allowing five runs on eight hits over 3 2/3 innings. Dodgers' left-hander Tyler Anderson (1-0, 2.84 ERA) has not allowed more than two runs in any of his three starts this year. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
04-25-22 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 13 h 25 m | Show |
MIKE'S MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off a 10-2 win at San Diego and they have scored five runs or more in six of their lsat eight games. Arizona righty Merrill Kelly (1-0, 0.59 ERA) is off to a hot start to the season but he is 0-4 with a 4.58 ERA in seven career appearances against the Dodgers. LAD right-hander Walker Buehler (1-1, 4.02 ERA) is 4-0 with a 2.24 ERA in 11 career appearances against Arizona. The Dodgers are 11-4 straight up and against the runline as favorites this season. 10* play Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
04-15-22 | A's v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 14 h 3 m | Show
MIKE'S ATHLETICS/BLUE JAYS MLB BOOKIE BU$TER Blue Jays' starter Ross Stripling (0-0, 9.00 ERA) will get his first start of the season following two relief outings. Stripling has plenty of big league experience though, unlike Oakland right-hander Daulton Jefferies who will make his second start of the season, just the third of his career. I expect to see a hungry Toronto team off a loss to the Yankees while Oakland might not have the same hunger after winning two in a row and for of its last five. 8* play on Toronto Blue Jays -1.5. |
04-10-22 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Rockies | 4-9 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 16 m | Show
DODGERS/ROCKIES MLB BOOKIE BU$TER This looks like a great spot to back the Dodgers off a 3-2 loss to Colorado on Saturday. The teams have now split the first two games of the season, and I expect the better team, the Dodgers, to come out fully focused here in the rubber match. The Rockies hand the ball to Antonio Senzatela who gave up 16 runs (15 earned) in 19 innings over three starts against the Dodgers last year. The Dodgers will turn to Julio Urias who was 20-3 with a 2.96 ERA last year, including 2-0 with a 4.34 in three starts here at Coors Field. Since the start of the 2020 season, the Dodgers are 11-3 straight up, 8-5-1 against the runline, at Coors Field as -150 favorites or higher. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
04-10-22 | Pirates v. Cardinals -1.5 | Top | 9-4 | Loss | -100 | 14 h 30 m | Show |
MLB GAME OF THE WEEK - MIKE'S 10* MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The St. Louis Cardinals have won the first two games of this series in dominant fashion. They'll have a big edge on the mound here in the series-finale, and I expect a nice and comfortable win for the Cards. Steven Matz will take the mound for his Cardinals debut since coming over from Toronto as a free agent. Matz was 4-7 with a 3.82 ERA through 150 1/3 innings last year, and he should be able to handle a Pittsburgh team that has scored only two runs through its first two games. The Pirates turn to 24-year-old Bryse Wilson who went 3-7 with a 5.35 ERA across 16 starts last year. Wilson has yet to finish a season with a sub-4.00 ERA, and the Cards have been swinging hot bats to start the season. 10* play on St. Louis Cardinals -1.5. |
04-09-22 | Pirates +1.5 v. Cardinals | 2-6 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 59 m | Show
MIKE'S SATURDAY AFTERNOON MLB RUNLINE RIPPER I expect to see a focused Pittsburgh team after getting shut out by the Cardinals on Opening Day. The currents Pirates hitters have a combined batting average of .323 against Cards righty Miles Mikolas, and Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller was lit up in one of his two starts against the Cards last year, he threw five scoreless innings in the other. 8* play on Pittsburgh Pirates +1.5. |
10-19-21 | Braves v. Dodgers -1.5 | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 44 m | Show |
MLB GAME OF THE YEAR ALERT - MIKE'S NLCS MAJOR WAGER The Dodgers are not in do-or-die mode, but they're just one loss away from being there, after opening the series with a pair of losses at Atlanta. Now they get to return home to Chavez Ravine where they've been dominant all season long. The Braves are 0-5 as road dogs when the opponent is a favorite of -170 or more and veteran right-hander Charlie Morton was tagged with five runs in 4 1/3 innings when he faced the Dodgers with the Rays in Game 3 of the World Series last year. I think we're getting a terrific price on a desperate Dodgers team that can't afford to drop this one. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
10-06-21 | Cardinals v. Dodgers -1.5 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 59 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* CARDS @ DODGERS NL WILD CARD SHOWDOWN The Cardinals closed out the regular season as one of the hottest teams in baseball, but now they'll face a Dodgers team that wrapped up the regular season by winning each of their last six games and averaging nine runs over its past five games. Their 106 wins on the season would have won every division except for their own NL West where they finished one game behind the Giants. Dodgers' right-hander Max Scherzer (15-4, 2.46 ERA) has yet to take a losing decision (7-0, 1.98 ERA) since coming over from the Nats. While Cards' veteran Adam Wainwright (17-7, 3.05 ERA) has been terrific lately as well, I don't see him shutting down this Dodgers' team in a one-and-done type of game. The Dodgers went 29-15 against the runline (ROI of 17.5%) as home favorites of -200 or more during the regular season. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
09-14-21 | Cubs v. Phillies -1.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 20 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Phillies have lost five of their last six. They're four-and-a-half games behind the Atlanta Braves for first place in the National League East, and with only nine games left, they need to start winning. This looks like a good spot against a Cubs team that is 6-25 in its last 31 vs. a team with a winning record. Phillies' righty Kyle Gibson (10-6, 3.38 ERA) has struggled in his last two starts, but both were on the road. Now Gibson returns home to Citizens Bank Park where he is 7-2 with a 2.24 ERA on the season. 8* play on Philadelphia Phillies -1.5. |
09-13-21 | Twins v. Yankees -1.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -104 | 6 h 58 m | Show
SUPER EARLY TWINS @ YANKEES MLB BOOKIE BU$TER Twins right-hander John Gant (5-9, 3.78 ERA) is 1-3 with a 4.85 ERA in 11 outings since coming over from the Cardinals. Gant is coming off five scoreless innings at Cleveland, but he conceded four runs through 3 1/3 innings in the Bronx last month. Yankees righty Luis Gil (1-0, 1.42 ERA) has impressed through his first four MLB starts. He has been issuing a fair amount of walks, but 24 Ks over 19 innings of work is impressive. The Yankees are desperate for wins after losing 12 of their last 15 games. They're still very in the playoff race though, and they've dominated Minnesota this season, winning five of six meetings. 8* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
09-09-21 | Nationals v. Braves -1.5 | Top | 6-7 | Loss | -114 | 13 h 55 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back an angry Braves team to snap back from a 4-2 loss to Washington. Atlanta right-hander Huascar Ynoa (4-5, 3.19 ERA) has posted a 2.29 ERA over 35 1/3 innings at home and he has a 2.19 ERA over 53 1/3 innings in night games. Ynoa has made two starts against Washington this season with only six hits and no earned runs allowed over 12 innings of work. Nats' righty Erick Fedde (6-9, 5.27 ERA) has posted a 6.14 ERA over his last three starts. Fedde is 0-3 with a 11.12 ERA in three starts against Atlanta on the season. Braves are 20-6 in their last 26 games as a favorite. Braves are 22-7 in their last 29 games following a loss. Nationals are 1-5 in the last 6 meetings. 10* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
09-09-21 | Rockies v. Phillies -1.5 | 4-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
THURSDAY NIGHT MLB BOOKIE BU$TER - GUARANTEED TO WIN The Rockies are an abysmal 18-50 on the road. Right-hander Antonio Senzatela (4-9, 4.16 ERA) is 1-6 with a 4.56 ERA away from home. Phillies' lefty Ranger Suarez (6-4, 1.38 ERA) is having a fantastic year, and he is 5-0 behind a 1.40 ERA at home. The Rockies have been outscored 38-14 over their last four games. The Phillies sit only 2 1/2 games behind the Atlanta Braves for first place in the National League East, and I expect nothing but full focus from them down the stretch. Phillies in a blowout. 8* play on Philadelphia Phillies -1.5. |
09-06-21 | Mariners v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 2-11 | Win | 101 | 10 h 15 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE - BIG HITTER The Mariners closed out last week with a 10-4 win at Arizona, with seven of their runs being scored in extra-innings. I highly doubt the Mariners will score anywhere close to as many runs here against Lance McCullers Jr. (10-4, 3.20 ERA) who is 9-3 with a 2.78 ERA in 17 career starts against Seattle. Mariners' lefty Yusei Kikuchi (7-7, 4.12 ERA) is 1-4 with a 5.50 ERA in 10 career starts against Houston. The Astros are coming off back-to-back losses at San Diego, and I expect them to bounce back in a big way in this one. 10* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
09-05-21 | Twins v. Rays -1.5 | 6-5 | Loss | -104 | 11 h 9 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - RAYS The Rays put an 11-4 beating on Minnesota on Saturday, and I think they'll come through with a big win again on Sunday. Twins righty Griffin Jax has a 6.71 ERA in 12 outings (eight starts) in 2021. He is 1-2 with a 7.07 ERA on the road and 0-2 with a 9.77 ERA in his last three starts. Rays' righty Luis Patino (4-3, 4.24 ERA) has posted a 2.01 ERA over 31 1/3 innings home at Tropicana Field. Patino is 2-0 with a 3.07 ERA over his last three starts. 8* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
09-05-21 | Tigers v. Reds -1.5 | 4-1 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 7 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - REDS Reds' righty Luis Castillo (7-14, 4.30 ERA) has posted a 2.79 ERA over his last three starts. Tigers righty Casey Mize (7-7, 3.59 ERA) gave up three runs in six innings in a loss to Minnesota in his last start, and here he'll face a Reds team that is averaging 6.33 runs per nine innings against right-handers home at Great American Ball Park. 8* play on Cincinnati Reds -1.5. |
09-05-21 | Orioles v. Yankees -1.5 | 8-7 | Loss | -150 | 12 h 36 m | Show
SUPER EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON MLB *NO-BRAINER* The Yankees took a 4-3 loss as a massive favorite against the Orioles on Saturday. They're huge favorites once again in rubbergame of this three-game series on Sunday, and I expect the Bronx Bombers to bounce back in a big way. Orioles' Keegan Akin (2-8, 6.90 ERA) is coming off his best two outings of the season, but I think that just sets up a letdown spot for the left-hander. The Yankees hand the ball to Corey Kluber (4-3, 3.61 ERA) who's in a bounce back spot after giving up five runs in four innings against the Angels on Aug 30. That was his first start since May, and we should see a much better outing from Kluber today. 8* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
09-04-21 | Twins v. Rays -1.5 | Top | 4-11 | Win | 100 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Rays are 10-1 SU as home favorites of -200 or more this season. While they've not done quite as well against the runline, I expect them to come through with a blowout win against the Twins on Saturday. Minnesota left-hander Andrew Albers (1-0, 0.96 ERA) has only two outings (one start) on the season, and while both were solid, now he'll take to deal with a Rays team that is averaging 5.40 runs per game. Tampa Bay right-hander Chris Archer (0-1, 4.35 ERA) has made four appearances (three starts) in 2021. After giving up four runs (three earned) in two innings as a reliever in his season debut, Archer has allowed only two runs through 8 2/3 innings in the next three starts. Twins are 1-6 in their last 7 games as a road underdog and 2-6 against the runline on the road with the opponent favored of -200 or more. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
09-03-21 | Rangers v. Angels -1.5 | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -104 | 22 h 26 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* TGIF MLB BIG HITTER The Angles are 5-1 SU and 3-3 against the runline as home favorites of -200 or more this season. The Rangers are 4-15 SU and 5-14 against the runline on the road with the opponent favored of -200 or more. Angels' righty Shohei Ohtani (8-1, 3.00 ERA) is 5-1 with a 1.92 ERA at home on the season. Rangers' righty Glenn Otto (0-0, 0.00 ERA) has only five innings of big league experience under his belt. 10* play on Los Angeles Angels -1.5. |
09-02-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Rockies | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB BOOKIE BREAKER The Rockies are a really strong home at Coors Field, but now they'll face a Braves team that has won 16 straight as favorites on the road. Braves righty Touki Toussaint (3-2, 3.60 ERA) is 2-0 with a 2.13 ERA in his last three starts, and he has posted a 2.45 ERA over 24 innings on the road this year. Colorado righty Chi Chi Gonzalez (3-6, 6.08 ERA) has posted a 7.00 ERA over his last three starts. 10* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
09-01-21 | Braves v. Dodgers -1.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 33 m | Show
LATE-NIGHT MLB BAILOUT PLAY Atlanta left-hander Max Fried (11-7, 3.54 ERA) was red hot in August, but he is 1-2 with a 4.76 ERA in four starts against the Dodgers. Dodgers' righty Max Scherzer (12-4, 2.51 ERA) has a mediocre 4.04 ERA in 26 career outings (24 starts) against the Braves, but he's been lights out since coming over from the Nats, going 4-0 behind a 1.55 ERA. The Braves have lost five of their last seven, and I expect the Dodgers to win and cover the RL. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
09-01-21 | Orioles v. Blue Jays -1.5 | Top | 4-5 | Loss | -139 | 15 h 41 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back the Jays after getting held to six hits in a disappointing 4-2 loss to Baltimore and Keegan Akin on Tuesday. The Blue Jays are 4-0 SU and 3-1 against the runline off a loss as a -200 favorite or more on the season. Baltimore righty Matt Harvey (6-14, 6.18 ERA) is 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA in his last three starts. Toronto left-hander Steven Matz (10-7, 3.81 ERA) posted a 1.30 ERA through five starts while covering 27 2/3 innings in August. 10* play on Toronto Blue Jays -1.5. |
08-30-21 | Braves v. Dodgers -1.5 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 102 | 17 h 45 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back the Dodgers to bounce back from a 5-0 loss to Colorado. They are 3-1 off a shutout loss on the season and 8-2 in this spot over the last three years. Atlanta left-hander Drew Smyly (9-3, 4.54 ERA) has allowed three runs in six of his last eight starts, and he served up three homers to Baltimore last time out. Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias (14-3, 3.17 ERA) is 1-0 with a 1.20 ERA over his last three starts. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
08-29-21 | Cubs v. White Sox -1.5 | 1-13 | Win | 100 | 12 h 8 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - WHITE SOX The White Sox are 19-5 as favorites off a loss as a favorite, perfect 3-0 as favorites of -200 or more. Cubs'right-hander Kyle Hendricks (14-5, 4.09 ERA) has posted a 7.41 ERA in his last three starts. White Sox righty Dylan Cease (10-6, 3.92 ERA) is 1-0 with a 3.50 ERA in his last three starts and he is 5-2 with a 2.61 ERA at home on the season. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
08-29-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 12-8 | Win | 100 | 15 h 45 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Rays won but failed to cover the runline on Saturday's matchup with the Orioles. They're 17-1 SU and 14-4 against the runline versus Baltimore this season and I expect to see a comfortable win for the Rays here in the finale of this three-game series on Sunday. Baltimore right-hander Spenser Watkins (2-6, 7.07 ERA) has allowed four runs or more in six straight starts, all losses. Watkins gave up eight runs in just two innings against the Angels in his last start. Tampa Bay righty Chris Archer (0-1, 4.26 ERA) is working his way back into the starting rotation after missing four months due to a forearm strain and a hip issue. Through his last two starts, Archer has fanned eight while allowing only four hits and a walk through 4 1/3 scoreless innings. Acher is still building up his pitch count, but is backed up by the best bullpen in baseball. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
08-28-21 | Rockies v. Dodgers -1.5 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 18 h 24 m | Show
LATE NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Dodgers fell to 10-4 against the Rockies with a 4-2 loss on Friday. They've won seven of their last eight coming off a loss, and here they get to hit off Jon Gray (7-10, 4.20 ERA) who has allowed 15 runs through his last four starts, all losses. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
08-28-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 4-3 | Loss | -126 | 16 h 20 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY Rays' righty Michael Wacha (2-4, 5.88 ERA) is having a rough year, but he should be able to contain the Orioles. Wacha should also be getting a decent amount of run support as Baltimore left-hander John Means (5-6, 3.50 ERA) has allowed 13 runs through his last three starts alone. The team has lost 10 of his last 12 starts overall and the Orioles are 0-4 SU and against the runline with Means as the starter against the Rays this year. The Rays are 16-1 and 14-3 against the runline versus Baltimore this season. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
08-27-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 16 h 4 m | Show |
*MAJOR WAGER ALERT* AL RUNLINE GAME OF THE YEAR The Baltimore Orioles are coming off back-to-back upset wins against the Angels, but they had lost 18 straight prior to those wins and I don't think they'll stand much of a chance here against the Rays on Friday. Tampa Bay left-hander Shane McClanahan (8-4, 3.63 ERA) is 3-0 with 22 Ks over 17 1/3 innings of work over his last three starts. McClanahan also has a solid 3.80 ERA on the road and he has a 3-0 record with a 2.65 ERA in three starts against the Orioles on the season. Baltimore hands the ball to Matt Harvey (6-13, 6.27 ERA) who has allowed 11 runs on 12 hits over just 6 1/3 innings against the Rays this year. Harvey is 2-8 with a 6.62 ERA at home. The Rays are 15-1 ad 13-3 against the runline versus Baltimore this season. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
08-25-21 | Royals v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -117 | 9 h 45 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB BIG HITTER The Astros opened the series with a 4-0 win on Monday. Now they get to tee off versus left-hander Mike Minor (8-11, 5.34) who is 0-2 with a 5.51 ERA in his last three starts. The team has lost each of his last four and eight of his last 10 starts. During that stretch, they covered the runline in none of the defeats. Houston right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. (10-4, 3.21 ERA) who is 1-0 with a 2.73 ERA over five career starts against the Royals. 10* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
08-24-21 | Royals v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 16 h 48 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB BIG HITTER Huge bounce back spot for the Astors after taking a humbling 7-1 loss as massive favorites against KC on Monday. Astros right-hander Luis Garcia is 5-3 with a 2.02 ERA at home. Royals righty Brady Singer is 3-8 with a 5.23 ERA on the season (1-3, 5.25 ERA on the road). With Houston only three games ahead of Oakland in the AL West division, I expect the Astros to come out focused and hungry to snap back. 10* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
08-22-21 | Tigers v. Blue Jays -1.5 | Top | 5-3 | Loss | -126 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE GAME OF THE WEEK Blue Jays' left-hander Steven Matz (10-7, 4.08 ERA) has posted a 1.15 ERA through his last three starts overall and his 5-2 with a 2.36 ERA in day starts in 2021. Tigers' righty Drew Hutchison (0-1, 10.80 ERA) has made only one start this year. It was on August 15 when he gave up five runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks in just 1 2/3 innings of work. The Jays are averaging 6.12 runs per nine innings off right-handers home at Rogers Centre. 10* play on Toronto Blue Jays -1.5. |
08-20-21 | Mariners v. Astros -1.5 | 3-12 | Win | 110 | 8 h 18 m | Show
MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Mariners' left-hander Yusei Kikuchi (7-6, 3.82 ERA) allowed three runs on five hits and four walks over 4 1/3 innings against Toronto in his last start. He'll go toe-to-toe with Astros' righty Lance McCullers Jr. (9-4, 3.22 ERA) who is 8-3 with a 2.93 ERA over 15 career starts against the Mariners. 8* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
08-20-21 | Marlins v. Reds -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 108 | 18 h 33 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - REDS The Reds opened this four-game series with a dominant 6-1 win on Thursday. The Marlins have now lost four in a row, all by two runs or more. The Reds have won five of their last eight, each win by at least two runs. Miami right-hander Elieser Hernandez (0-0, 2.84 ERA) has made only three appearances in 2021. Reds righty Sonny Gray (4-6, 4.47 ERA) is not having a great year, but he should have no trouble to contain a Miami team that has been held to two or fewer runs in three of its last four games. 8* play on Cincinnati Reds. |
08-20-21 | Tigers v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 4-1 | Loss | -125 | 17 h 29 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - BLUE JAYS The Tigers squandered a 10-2 lead against the Angels on Thursday. Their bullpen is one of the worst in the major leagues, and tonight's starter Tyler Alexander (2-2, 4.57 ERA) gave up four runs on six hits in five innings against Cleveland in his last start. The Jays have dropped back-to-back games at Washington despite putting up a total of 11 runs. I think they'll get an easy W here with left-hander Robbie Ray (9-5, 2.88 ERA) on the mound. Ray is 5-2 with a 2.82 ERA at home and he has posted a 1.89 ERA through his last three starts. 8* play on Toronto Blue Jays -1.5. |
08-20-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Orioles | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 17 h 29 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - BRAVES The Orioles are an absolute mess, and now they'll face one of the hottest teams in baseball. The Braves have put up 25 runs through a three-game sweep at Miami this week. Atlanta left-hander Max Fried (10-7, 3.78 ERA) has allowed only two runs through his last three starts (3-0, 1.00 ERA). Baltimore left-hander Keegan Akin (0-7, 8.13 ERA) has surrendered nine runs in his last two starts alone. The Orioles are 1-9 in his 10 starts this year. 8* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
08-19-21 | Marlins v. Reds -1.5 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 54 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - REDS The Miami Marlins have opened the week with three straight home losses to Atlanta, and things won't go any easier as they travel to Cincinnati for the opener of a four-game series Thursday night. Reds righty Luis Castillo (6-12, 4.51 ERA) has posted a respectable 3.72 ERA at home and he is is 3-0 with a 1.84 ERA in four career starts against Miami. The Marlins hand the ball to right-hander Zach Thompson (2-5, 2.91 ERA) who's having an impressive rookie season, but he's been pitching better at home than on the road where he is 0-3 in five starts, with the Marlins losing each of those five games. In fact, their team record is 3-8 in Thompson's 11 starts overall. The Reds are 7-1 SU and 5-3 against the runline as home favorites of -200 or more while the over is 6-2 in this spot. I fully expect the Reds' bats to come alive again following back-to-back one-run outings against the Cubs. 8* play on Cincinnati Reds -1.5. |
08-16-21 | Mets v. Giants -1.5 | 5-7 | Win | 100 | 13 h 9 m | Show
LATE NIGHT BASEBALL *BAILOUT PLAY* The Mets are coming off three straight losses to the Dodgers home on the east coast. Now they have to fly cross-country to face a red hot Giants team that has baseball's best record. Mets' left-hander Rich Hill (6-4, 4.05 ERA) has allowed three, four, zero and three runs in his four starts since coming over from Tampa Bay. Giants' All-Star right-hander Kevin Gausman (11-5, 2.29 ERA is having a fantastic year, and he has allowed only a pair of runs on nine hits with 13 Ks covering 11 innings over his last two starts. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
08-16-21 | Cubs v. Reds -1.5 | Top | 5-14 | Win | 100 | 14 h 51 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY The slumping Cubs have dropped 11 straight games. I expect their struggles to continue against a Reds team that has won nine of 13 head-to-head meetings on the season (five of six in Cincinnati). Cubs rookie left-hander Justin Steele (2-1, 2.95 ERA) has mostly been pitching out of the bullpen. He made his first start last week and gave up three runs on five hits (two homers) in five innings of a 4-2 loss to Milwaukee. The Reds turn to left-hander Wade Miley (9-4, 3.00 ERA) who is 1-0 this season against the Cubs with a 3.94 ERA in three starts. The Cubs are averaging only 3.75 runs per game on the road. 10* play on Cincinnati Reds -1.5. |
08-15-21 | Rockies v. Giants -1.5 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 109 | 13 h 39 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY At 14-44, Colorado is one of the worst road teams in baseball and I highly doubt the Rockies can repeat Saturday's 4-1 win here at Oracle Park. Rockies' right-hander Jon Gray (7-8, 3.92 ERA) gave up four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings of a 5-0 loss at Houston in his last start. Gray is 2-5 with a 4.73 ERA on the road this year. Gray is 2-6 with a 5.86 ERA in 13 career starts against San Francisco. Giants' left-hander Alex Wood (9-3, 4.22 ERA) has not been at his best lately, but the team has still won each of his four starts and seven of his last eight. Wood is 6-2 with a 4.14 ERA at home and he is 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA in two starts against the Rockies on the year. 10* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
08-15-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Twins | 4-5 | Loss | -116 | 6 h 44 m | Show
MLB PACK - RAYS The Rays are true road warriors (36-24 away from home) while Minnesota has struggled at home (27-32 at Target Field). Rays' righty Luis Patino (2-3, 4.64 ERA) has 13 Ks with only four hits and three walks allowed through 10 2/3 innings in early outings this season. Twins left-hander Charlie Barnes (0-2, 6.08 ERA) has made only three career appearances, two starts. The Twins lost both and he has allowed six runs on 11 hits and three walks over 8 2/3 innings in his early outings. 8* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
08-14-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 0-7 | Loss | -121 | 18 h 40 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* SATURDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER I expect the San Diego Padres to come out with a chip on their shoulder after dropping back-to-back games here at Chase Field. They've put up a total of only five runs through the previous two games, but now they'll get a look at left-hander Tyler Gilbert (0-1, 0.00 ERA) who has only 3 2/3 big league innings under his belt. Joe Musgrove (8-7, 2.81 ERA) will take the ball for the Friars. He's been on fire lately, posting an 0.95 ERA with 24 Ks through 19 innings over his last three starts. The Padres have won three of his last four starts and covered the runline in each of those wins. 10* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
08-13-21 | Rockies v. Giants -1.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 31 m | Show
LATE-NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Rockies' Austin Gomber has impressive numbers home at Coors Field, but he has struggled on the road where he is 4-5 with a 5.40 ERA. The Rockies as a team is only 13-43 away from home. Gomber faced San Francisco twice in Apri, taking the loss in both starts while posting a 12.38 ERA. Giants' Anthony DeSclafani (10-5, 3.28 ERA) has been roughed up in recent outings, but this looks like a good spot to get back on track as he is 3-1 with a 2.25 ERA in five career starts against Colorado. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
08-12-21 | Dodgers v. Phillies +1.5 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 1 h 30 m | Show
EARLY DODGERS @ PHILLIES MLB BOOKIE BA$HER Good spot to back the Phillies on the runline as an underdog as I think they have a good chance of winning outright and deny the Dodgers to sweep this three-game series. The Phillies had won eight straight coming into the series and left-hander Ranger Suarez's (5-3, 0.98 ERA) last two appearances have been starts, with no hits and no runs allowed over 5 2/3 innings of work. The Dodgers are handing Mitch White (0-0, 3.75 ERA) a start as he's been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City. This looks like a bullpen game for the Dodgers, and I don't expect the same amount of effort from the visitors as we should see from the home team. Phillies are 4-0 in their last 4 games after losing the first 2 games of a series. Phillies are 5-2 in their last 7 during game 3 of a series. 8* play on Philadelphia Phillies +1.5. |
08-11-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Twins | 0-1 | Loss | -113 | 3 h 54 m | Show
SUPER EARLY MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The White Sox opened the series with a dominant 11-1 win, but the Twins bounced back with a 4-3 triumph Tuesday night. I expect the White Sox to take the rubber game of this three-game series as they get to tee off vs. right-hander Bailey Ober (1-1, 4.99 ERA). Ober has posted a 5.33 ERA in home games and a 5.82 ERA in day games in 2021. White Sox ace Lance Lynn (10-3, 2.12 ERA) has held opponents to one run or fewer in six of his last seven starts. He is 5-1 with a 1.38 ERA in day games. The White Sox have won five of his last six starts. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
08-10-21 | Rangers v. Mariners -1.5 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -102 | 17 h 17 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* AMERICAN LEAGUE RUNLINE GAME OF THE MONTH Rangers' left-hander Kolby Allard (2-10, 5.07 ERA) is 0-3 with a 10.38 ERA over his last three starts and he is 1-4 with a 6.06 ERA on the road this season. The Rangers have lost each of his last eight starts, covering the runline in only two of those games. Allard gave up seven runs, six earned, in three innings against Seattle on July 30. Seattle rookie right-hander Logan Gilbert (5-3, 4.14 ERA) is having a solid year. The Mariners have won 10 of his last 11 starts. 10* play on Seattle Mariners -1.5. |
08-10-21 | Brewers v. Cubs +1.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -127 | 8 h 3 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - BREWERS/CUBS GAME 2 I like the Brewers in Game 1 of this series, but this looks like a great price on the Cubs to cover the runline in Game 2. Brewers' rookie left-hander Aaron Ashby gave up seven runs (four earned) on four hits and three walks while recording only two outs in his MLB debut, against this very Cubs team. Cubs right-hander Alec Mills (5-4, 4.41 ERA) is 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA in six career games, three of them starts, against Milwaukee. 8* play on Chicago Cubs +1.5 |
08-10-21 | Brewers -1.5 v. Cubs | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
EARLY MLB NO-BRAINER Milwaukee right-hander Freddy Peralta (8-3, 2.21 ERA) is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA in four starts against the Cubs this season. I expect to see a reaction from the Brew Crew after losing two games at San Francisco over the weekend. They're still 6-4 in their last 10 games and 3-0 SU and 2-1 against the runline as road favorites -180 or larger this season. The Cubs are 1-3 SU and against the runline as home dogs of 160+. |
08-09-21 | Yankees -1.5 v. Royals | 8-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK Yankees' righty Jameson Taillon (7-4, 4.04 ERA) is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA over his last three starts while Royals' rookie right-hander Carlos Hernandez (3-1, 4.58 ERA) has a 4.24 ERA at home. The Yankees should come out focused after getting shut out by Seattle on Sunday. The Yankees are 4-0 SU and against the runline as favorites after getting shut out in their last game in 2021. 8* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
08-09-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Twins | Top | 11-1 | Win | 100 | 11 h 25 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY OF THE DAY White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito (8-8, 3.98 ERA) is 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA in two starts against the Twins in 2021 and 4-2 with a 3.89 ERA in seven starts at Target Field. The Twins hand the ball to right-hander Beau Burrows (0-0, 11.00 ERA) who will make his first career start, but as an opener. Rookie left-hander Charlie Barnes is expected to take over early. Barnes (0-2, 6.23 ERA) allowed five runs on seven hits and a pair of walks in four innings of a 6-5 defeat against the Reds on Wednesday. The White Sox have destroyed left-handers over the last two seasons, and I think the White Sox win this one in a blowout. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
08-08-21 | Diamondbacks v. Padres -1.5 | 0-2 | Win | 109 | 15 h 59 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - PADRES Diamondbacks' left-hander Madison Bumgarner (6-6, 4.57 ERA) has pitched better lately, but he gave up six runs on seven hits when he took on the Padres back in April and note his 7.36 ERA in day games. Padres' left-hander Blake Snell (5-4, 5.24 ERA) is 3-1 with a 2.81 ERA home at Petco Park in 2021. 8* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
08-08-21 | Red Sox v. Blue Jays -1.5 | Top | 8-9 | Loss | -108 | 12 h 59 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE GAME OF THE WEEK Boston right-hander Garrett Richards (6-7, 5.21 ERA) has made five starts against Toronto already this season, posting a 6.15 ERA with 34 hits and 14 walks allowed over 26 1/3 innings of work. Toronto left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (11-5, 3.22 ERA) is 5-2 with a 3.34 ERA at home on the season adn 2-0 with a 2.60 ERA in his last three starts overall. Ryu is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA in three starts against Boston on the season. 10* play on Toronto Blue Jays. |
08-07-21 | Angels v. Dodgers -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 22 h 46 m | Show
LATE NIGHT MLB BAILOUT BOMBER The Dodgers are 17-9 against the runline as home favorites of -200 or more. Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias (13-3, 3.40 ERA) has allowed more than one run in only one of his last six starts. Angels' righty Jaime Barria (2-0, 4.12 ERA) has made only four starts in 2021, two on the road, in which he has allowed nine runs through nine innings. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
08-07-21 | Diamondbacks v. Padres -1.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 21 h 15 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK Arizona right-hander Taylor Widener (1-1, 5.05 ERA) has given up five runs in three consecutive starts (10.66 ERA). San Diego righty Yu Darvish (7-6, 3.48 ERA) has allowed four or more runs in four of his last five outings, but he's still 5-3 with a solid 3.16 ERA home at Petco Park on the season. The D'Backs are averaging an abysmal 2.95 runs/9 innings on the road against right-handers. 8* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
08-07-21 | Nationals v. Braves -1.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 55 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK Washington rookie right-hander Josiah Gray (0-0, 4.85 ERA) will be making just his fourth big leagues appearance ever and second start for the Nats since coming over from the Dodgers. He'll face a Braves team that is riding a four-game winning streak through with it has scored a total of 29 runs. Atlanta righty Charlie Morton (10-4, 3.69 ERA) is 2-1 with a 3.71 ERA through his last three starts. 8* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
08-07-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Cubs | Top | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 3 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Cubs' right-hander Adbert Alzolay (4-11, 4.85 ERA) has allowed four runs in back-to-back starts and that has been the case in four of his last seven starts. White Sox left-hadner Carlos Rodon (8-5, 2.49 ERA) has recorded eight strikeouts or more in nine of his last 10 starts. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
08-06-21 | Twins v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -113 | 16 h 8 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY - RUNLINE RIPPER The Houston Astros came out flat and failed to get their bats going in a 5-3 loss to Minnesota in the opener of this four-game series on Thursday. I expect order to be restored Friday, and the Astros to come through and cover the runline as a big favorite. Twins right-hander Bailey Ober (1-1, 4.94 ERA) is 0-1 with a 4.43 ERA on the road. Ober rarely pitches deep into the games, he has not pitched past the fifth inning in any of his last 10 starts. Twins' relievers are among the worst in the big leagues. Houston righty Zack Greinke (10-3, 3.65 ERA) has allowed only four earned runs through his last three starts. The Astros are 8-2 SU (6-4 against the runline) as home favorites with Greinke on the mound in 2021. 10* play on Houston Astros. |
08-04-21 | Twins v. Reds -1.5 | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY 10* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Minnesota Twins are coming off a 7-5 upset win on Tuesday thanks to a three-run, ninth-inning homer. The Twins are still only 4-10 in their last 14 games as an underdog, and I think they're at a major disadvantage on the mound today. Minnesota left-hander Charlie Barnes (0-1, 1.93 ERA) has only one major league appearance. He's unlikely to eat a lot of innings, and then he'll hand over the ball to one of the worst bullpens in the big leagues. Sure, Reds relievers are not top of the line either, but starter Luis Castillo (5-10, 4.22 ERA) is solid and his season ERA drops to 3.94 home at Great American Ball Park. Reds are 6-1 in their last 7 interleague home games vs. a left-handed starter. Reds are 14-5 in their last 19 games as a home favorite. Reds are 4-1 in their last 5 games following a loss. 10* play on Cincinnati Reds -1.5. |
08-03-21 | Giants -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 1-3 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 53 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK Arizona left-hander Madison Bumgarner (5-6, 4.87 ERA) spent 10-plus seasons with the Giants before joining Arizona last year. Bumgarner was an ace with the Giants, but he's been far worse since leaving and just 6-10 with a 5.43 ERA in 24 starts over the last two seasons. Right-hander Johnny Cueto (7-5, 3.84 ERA) will toe the rubber for San Francisco. Cueto has had plenty of success against the D'Backs throughout his career, sitting on an 11-4 record with a 3.45 ERA in 20 career meetings. The Giants won a wild affair in extra innings last night, but they held a 7-1 lead at one point and I expect this to be a more comfortable ride for the visitors. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
08-03-21 | Royals v. White Sox -1.5 | Top | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 15 h 38 m | Show |
MIKE'S TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Chicago White Sox are 34-10 SU and 30-14 against the runline against left-handed starters dating back to the beginning of last season. I expect runs to come fast and easy for the White Sox here against KC southpaw Kris Bubic (3-4, 4.58 ERA). Sure, Bubic held the White Sox to a pair of runs on five hits in six innings of a 3-2 Royals win last time out, but note that Bubic is 1-4 with a 7.16 ERA on the road. The White Sox hand the ball to Dylan Cease (7-6, 4.14 ERA) who gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits in six innings of a 5-3 White Sox win over the Royals at KC in his last start. Cease is 4-2 behind a 2.44 ERA home at Guaranteed Rate Field on the season. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
08-02-21 | Giants -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 11-8 | Win | 100 | 10 h 50 m | Show
LATE NIGHT MLB BOOKIE BU$TER *NO-BRAINER* The Diamondbacks took a 13-0 beating by the Dodgers on Sunday, and I think they'll start the new week with another blowout loss, this time to the Giants. Giants' right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (10-5, 3.10 ERA) is 5-3 with a 2.50 ERA on the road this season. The Giants have won eight of his 13 starts away from home. Arizona right-hander Taylor Widener (1-1, 4.42 ERA) has posted a 7.45 ERA through 9 2/3 innings home at Chase Field. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
08-02-21 | Orioles v. Yankees -1.5 | Top | 7-1 | Loss | -130 | 8 h 54 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Andrew Heaney (6-7, 5.27 ERA) will make his first start for the Yankees since being acquired from the Los Angeles Angels. The left-hander will be looking to impress his new teammates, and Heaney should have no trouble outperforming Orioles' righty Jorge Lopez (2-12, 6.19 ERA), who is 0-6 with a 7.43 ERA through his past nine starts. Additionally, note that Lopez is 1-3 with a 7.22 ERA in six career starts against the Yankees. The Yankees are riding a three-game winning streak, and they've covered the runline in four of their last five wins. 10* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
07-31-21 | Royals v. Blue Jays -1.5 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 14 h 2 m | Show |
EARLY TOP-RATED 10* AMERICAN LEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK The Kansas City Royals took a 6-4 loss here at Rogers Centre on Friday to fall to 17-32 on the road. For Saturday, they hand the ball to left-hander Mike Minor (8-8, 5.32 ERA) who is coming off a couple of solid outings, but here he'll face a Toronto team that is averaging 6.05 runs per nine innings at home. KC meanwhile is averaging only 3.62 runs per game on the road, and Toronto righty Alek Manoah (2-1, 2.90 ERA) is 1-0 with a 2.20 ERA through 16 2/3 innings at home. 10* play on Toronto Blue Jays -1.5. |
07-30-21 | Indians v. White Sox -1.5 | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 18 h 8 m | Show
TGIF RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Chicago White Sox return home from a disappointing seven-game road trip which saw them shut out in the last game at Kansas City on Thursday. Now they return home to Guaranteed Rate Field where they are 35-17 on the season. White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn (10-3, 2.00 ERA) has been phenomenal in his home starts, entering this game with a 6-2 record to go with a 1.64 ERA. Indians' righty Jean Carlos Mejia (1-6, 7.52 ERA) is having a rough year, and he is 1-4 with an 8.34 ERA on the road. Through his last three starts overall, Mejia has allowed 15 runs and 24 base runners through 13 innings of work. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
07-29-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Royals | 0-5 | Loss | -115 | 6 h 5 m | Show
EARLY MLB RUNLINE RIPPER - PROFIT GUARANTEE The Chicago White Sox coughed up a ninth-inning lead to lose in extra innings on Wednesday. I like them to snap back and win big in the finale of this series tonight. Royals' right-hander Carlos Hernandez (1-1, 6.04 ERA) has mostly worked out of the bullpen, but his last two outings were starts. Neither was particularly successful, with Hernandez allowing a total of seven runs on five hits and six walks over 6 2/3 innings of work. White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon (8-4, 2.24 ERA) is having a terrific year, and he's 5-1 with a 1.90 ERA away from home. The team is 6-1 SU and against the runline as road favorites with Rodon on the mound. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |

07-24-21 | Pirates v. Giants -1.5 | Top | 10-2 | Loss | -120 | 19 h 37 m | Show |
NATIONAL LEAGUE RUNLINE GAME OF THE MONTH The Pittsburgh Pirates snapped a four-game skid with a 6-4 win here at Oracle Park on Friday. Their road record is still absolutely atrocious, and I expect them to be back to their losing ways on Saturday. Pittsburgh righty Wil Crowe (1-5, 6.12 ERA) gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings against the Mets in his last start. That was at home, and now he goes on the road where has posted a 6.67 ERA over 29 2/3 innings of work. Crowe has made one start against San Francisco in 2021, an outing where he was tagged with three runs on six hits in five innings. The Giants counter with Kevin Gausman (9-3, 1.84 ERA) who is having a fantastic year. Gausman is 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA at home, with 58 Ks against only 22 hits and 10 walks through 48 frames. Gausman held Pittsburgh to one run on five hits with 12 Ks in eight innings back in May. 10* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
07-24-21 | Rangers v. Astros -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 15 h 15 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - ASTROS The Astros came through for us as a free pick against the runline on Friday. I like them to get the job done again in Saturday's matchup against Texas and Kyle Gibson. While Gibson (6-2, 2.86 ERA) has been stellar at home, note his 4.06 ERA on the road and the fact that he has aööpwed 14 runs on 23 hits through 17 innings for an ugly 7.41 ERA in his last three starts combined. Houston counters with Framber Valdez (5-2, 3.26 ERA) who is an undefeated 2-0 home at Minute Maid Park on the season. I also think the total is set a bit too low for this contest, with seven of 10 head-to-head meetings between the two teams this season going over the total. 8* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
07-21-21 | Indians v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -123 | 14 h 50 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Astros have opened this series with a couple of wins, most recently a 9-3 triumph on Tuesday. They should have no trouble putting runs on the board here against Cleveland right-hander Eli Morgan who has a 1-3 record to go with a 7.86 ERA in six starts this season. Houston counters with Lance McCullers who allowed just a run in seven innings of work with 10 strikeouts to earn the W in the Astros' 7-1 win Friday over the White Sox. McCullers is 7-2 with a 2.80 ERA on the season. 8* play on Houston Astros - 1.5. |
07-19-21 | Orioles v. Rays -1.5 | Top | 6-1 | Loss | -112 | 16 h 31 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Orioles won at Kansas City both Saturday and Sunday. They are 4-7 off back-to-back wins and 17-32 on the road this season. American League East rival Tampa Bay Rays took two of three in Atlanta over the weekend, and now they return home to Tropicana Field where they are 23-8 on the season. Baltimore Spenser Watkins has compiled a 1.74 ERA in three outings on the season, but that's over only 10 1/3 innings of work. Tampa Bay left-hander Ryan Yarbrough (6-3, 4.30 ERA) is 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA over his last three starts. The Rays have won each of the previous six meetings this season (5-1 against the runline) while outscoring the Orioles 48-21. This should be another blowout win for the Rays. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
07-19-21 | Twins v. White Sox -1.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 36 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Twins hand the ball to rookie right-hander Griffin Jax (1-1, 8.66 ERA) for his second start and sixth outing in the big leagues. Jax made his first start on July 3 when he was lit up with six runs on eight hits in five innings at Kansas City. The White Sox are a solid 33-15 at home and 26-15 against the runline as home favorives. Lance Lynn (9-3, 2.08 ERA) is 6-2 with a 1.68 ERA at Guaranteed Rate Field. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
07-18-21 | Rangers v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 3 h 25 m | Show
MLB BOOKIE BU$TER The Texas Rangers are only 13-31 on the road and the team has lost eight of left-hander Kolby Allard's (2-6, 3.69 ERA) starts overall. Toronto lefty Hyun Jin Ryu (8-5, 3.56 ERA) held Texas to only two runs in seven innings earlier this season. |
07-10-21 | Nationals v. Giants -1.5 | 4-10 | Win | 100 | 12 h 21 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK #2 The San Francisco Giants are a solid 28-13 home at Oracle Park. Right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (9-3, 2.84 ERA) has been pitching very well all season, and the team has won six of his last seven starts. Nats' lefty Jon Lester (2-3, 5.34 ERA) is not having a good year, and he is 0-2 with a 7.08 ERA on the road. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
07-10-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 8-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 27 m | Show |
*BIG BET ALERT* AL RUNLINE GAME OF THE MONTH - 10* TOP PLAY The Chicago White Sox are riding a three-game winning streak after putting a 12-1 beating on Baltimore on Friday. Now they'll get to tee off versus Thomas Eshelman (0-1, 7.16 ERA) who has made just four starts on the season. Last time out, Eshelman was tagged with four runs on seven hits in just four innings against the Angels. White Sox left-hander Lucas Giolito (6-6, 4.20 ERA) is having somewhat of a disappointing year, but note that the Orioles have been held to two or fewer runs in three of their last five games. The Orioles are 12-19 against the runline when facing a left-handed starter. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
07-07-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Pirates | Top | 14-3 | Win | 103 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Good spot to back the Braves to bounce back from a pair of losses at Pittsburgh. Atlanta has put up a total of only two runs in the series so far, but now they'll get a look at Pirates' righy Wil Crowe (1-5, 6.26 ERA) who gave up four runs in five-plus innings when he took on the Braves back in May. Atlanta hands the ball to left-hander Drew Smyly (6-3, 4.42 ERA) who has won four straight decisions. 10* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
07-05-21 | Indians v. Rays -1.5 | 8-9 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 51 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Cleveland Indians are heading into the week as losers of five straight games while the Tampa Bay Rays snapped a five-game skid of their own with a 5-1 win at Toronto on Sunday. Rays' left-hander Rich Hill (6-3, 3.70 ERA) is 3-2 with a 3.50 ERA at home in 2021, and he held teh Red Sox to one run on three hits through five innings of an 8-2 win in his last home start. Left-hander Logan Allen (1-5, 8.38 ERA) will take the ball for the Tribe. He gave up five runs (three earned) in two innings of a 10-3 loss at Cleveland in his lone road start of the season. 8* play on Tampa Bay Rays -1.5. |
07-05-21 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Marlins | Top | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 7 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* DODGERS @ MARLINS MLB BOOKIE BREAKER Miami left-hander Trevor Rogers (7-5, 2.14 ERA) is having a great year, but he still has five losses to his name due to poor run support. Miami is averaging only 4.06 runs per game (28th), and its offense should be no match for Dodgers' starter Walker Buehler (8-1, 2.35 ERA) who has been particularly hot of late, posting aa 1.53 ERA through nine straight quality starts. 10* play on LA Dodgers -1.5. |
07-04-21 | Orioles v. Angels -1.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 50 m | Show
SUNDAY AFTERNOON MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Orioles have lost 24 of their last 28 on the road. Baltimore righty Thomas Eshelman (0-1, 6.57 ERA) has made only three starts in 2021, and his numbrs are ugly with nine runs allowed on 16 hits and five walks against only four strikeouts over 12 1/3 innings of work. Angels' left-hander Patrick Sandoval (2-2, 3.89 ERA) has posted a 3.46 ERA with 31 Ks over 26 innings at home. 8* play on Los Angeles Angels -1.5. |
07-03-21 | Giants -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 48 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK ALERT - NATIONAL LEAGUE RUNLINE MAJOR WAGER The Giants are 25-19 on the road while the D'Backs are only 13-25 at home (7-20 as underdogs). Giants left-hander Sam Long (1-1, 4.95 ERA) gave up four runs on five hits in five innings against Arizona on June 15, but that was just his second career outing and I expect Long to do better this time around. We can also note that San Francisco still won that game 9-8 and that Long has a solid 19 strikeouts against six walks in his first four appearances covering 20 innings of work. Diamondbacks righty Jake Faria (0-0, 3.38 ERA) will be making just his fifth outing of the season (second start). I don't trust him to slow downa Giants team that put up 11 runs in Friday's matchup. The Giants have won seven of eight meetings this season. 10* play on San Francisco Giants. |
07-01-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Indians | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show
ASTROS @ INDIANS MLB BOOKIE BA$HER Indians rookie right-hander J.C. Mejia (1-2, 4.94 ERA) is in a less than ideal spot as his scheduled start against Detroit on Tuesday was postponed. In his last four starts, Mejia has been tagged with 13 earned runs over just 15 2/3 innings of work. The Astros have lost five of their last six games, but they should get an easy W here with left-hander Framber Valdez (4-1, 2.11 ERA) on the mound. Valdez is 2-1 with a 2.21 ERA on the road in 2021 and the team has won four of his six starts on the year, covering the runline in all but one of the wins. 8* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
07-01-21 | Brewers -1.5 v. Pirates | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 51 m | Show
BREWERS @ PIRATES MLB BOOKIE BU$TER Pirates' starter Wil Crowe (1-4, 6.50 ERA) is getting roughed up in just about every start. His last outing was no different when he gave up four runs on eight hits (two homers) in five innings at St. Louis. The team has lost six of his last nine starts, covering the runline in only one of the losses. Milwaukee right-hander Corbin Burnes (3-4, 2.53 ERA) is having a solid year, and he's 3-0 with a 3.19 ERA in 15 appearances (three starts) against the Pirates. 8* play on Milwaukee Brewers -1.5. |
06-30-21 | Diamondbacks v. Cardinals -1.5 | Top | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show |
EARLY NATIONAL LEAGUE RUNLINE GAME OF THE MONTH The Arizona Diamondbacks are 10-34 SU and 18-26 against the runline on the road in 2021. Arizona right-hander Riley Smith (1-3, 5.71 ERA) was tagged with four runs in just 3 2/3 innings at San Diego in his last start and he has allowed 20 runs over 27 innings for a 6.33 ERA away from home on the season. When Riley has had enough, he'll hand over the ball to one of the worst bullpens in baseball (29th, 5.26 ERA). St. Louis' left-hander Kwang-hyun Kim (1-5, 3.98 ERA) does not have many winning decisions, but his pitching has been decent as he's 1-1 with a 3.54 ERA home at Busch Stadium. 10* play on St. Louis Cardinals. |
06-28-21 | Orioles v. Astros -1.5 | 9-7 | Loss | -153 | 17 h 43 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Houston Astros are the hottest team in baseball, and now we get an opportunity to back them off a rare loss following Sunday's 2-1 setback at Detroit. Now they return home to take on the lowly Baltimore Orioles, and I don't see this ending any other way than a blowout win for the home team. Orioles' starter Thomas Eshelman (0-1, 7.27 ERA) has made only two starts on the season, one against Houston on June 23 when he was tagged with six runs through four innings of a 13-0 loss. Houston hands the ball to Zack Greinke (8-2, 3.56 ERA) who held the Orioles to one run on five hits through 7 1/3 innings in that same series. 8* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
06-27-21 | Diamondbacks v. Padres -1.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -122 | 11 h 16 m | Show
SUNDAY AFTERNOON MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Arizona Diamondbacks have not won many road games lately, or games at all for that matter. Last night's 10-1 win here at Petco Park was highly unexpected, and I just don't see the D'Backs coming up with another upset today. Padres' righty Yu Darvish (7-2, 2.50 ERA) is 5-2 with a 2.18 ERA at home on the season. Yarvish is backed up by one of the best bullpens in MLB (2nd, 2.85 ERA). Arizona right-hander Zac Gallen (1-3, 3.67 ERA) has been dealing with injuries all year, and he gave up four runs in just 2/3 innings at San Francisco in his last start away from home. Gallen is averaging five innings per start, and then he'll hand over the ball to one of the worst bullpens in baseball (28th, 5.20 ERA). Expect a humiliated and raging Friars team to win big after getting blown out by the worst team across the major leagues on Saturday. 8* play on San Diego Padres. |
06-24-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Tigers | 12-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 60 m | Show
THURSDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Houston Astros are the hottest team in baseball, and they've failed to cover the runline as a favorite in only one of their last 10 games. They should have no trouble scoring runs off Tigers Jose Urena (2-7, 5.79 ERA) who has lost all three of his three starts this month while allowing 17 runs through only 11 innings of work for a hideous 13.91 ERA. Houston right-hander Luis Garcia (5-4, 2.82 ERA) on the other hand has delivered quality starts in four of his past five starts and he has not allowed more than three earned runs in any of his 14 outings. 8* play on Houston Astros. |
06-23-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Orioles | 13-0 | Win | 100 | 14 h 23 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - ASTROS The Houston Astros are smoking hot, coming off nine straight wins and they've failed to cover the runline only once during that stretch. The team has won seven of right-hander Jose Urquidy's (5-3, 3.65 ERA) last eight starts. The Orioles hand the ball to Thomas Eshelman (0-0, 1.93 ERA) for just his second start of the season. He struggled in Triple-A before getting called up, posting a 6.41 ERA. 8* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |
06-23-21 | Brewers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 3-2 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 56 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK - BREWERS The Arizona Diamondbacks snapped a 17-game losing streak with a 5-1 win on Monday in the opener of this series, but they returned right back to their losing ways on Tuesday. Now they'll come up against Brewers righty Brandon Woodruff (5-3, 1.94 ERA) who's having a stellar year, and I don't see Arizona standing much of a chance in this one. 8* play on Milwaukee Brewers -1.5. |
06-22-21 | Royals v. Yankees -1.5 | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -131 | 15 h 17 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* TUESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The New York Yankees are 6-1 against the runline as home favorites of -200 or more. Yankees' righty Gerrit Cole (8-3, 2.31 ERA) is 3-1 with a 2.36 ERA in four career starts against the Royals. KC right-hander Brady Singer's numbers have deteriorated since a solid start to the season. and Singer (3-5, 4.76 ERA) is 1-2 with a 5.60 ERA on the road in 2021. This will be his first outing at Yankee Stadium. 10* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
06-19-21 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 9-3 | Win | 100 | 20 h 46 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* LATE NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Arizona Diamondbacks have lost 15 straight games since defeating the Mets on June 1. Arizona right-hander Matt Peacock (2-4, 5.26 ERA) gave up three runs on 10 hits in five innings of a loss at San Francisco in his last outing. He is 1-1 with a 7.02 ERA in seven appearances (two starts) at home in 2021. Dodgers righty Walker Buehler (6-0, 2.38 ERA) is 2-0 with a 1.97 ERA in five road starts on the season. He held the D'Backs to one hit through seven scoreless innings back on May 17. The Dodgers have won and covered the runline in three straight games as road favorites of -180 or more, including a 3-0 win in the opener of this series Friday night. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
06-18-21 | Reds v. Padres -1.5 | Top | 2-8 | Win | 112 | 20 h 46 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* TGIF MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Cincinnati Reds saw a six-game winning streak come to an end with a 6-4 loss to the San Diego Padres on Thursday. I like the Padres to come through and cover the runline as a big favorite Friday night as well. Friars' righty Chris Paddack (3-5, 3.53 ERA) has a 2.88 ERA at home on the season and he has allowed two or fewer runs in five of his last seven starts overall. Reds' right-hander Tony Santillan (0-0, 1.93 ERA) will make just his second start of the season. The rookie held Colorado to one run on five hits through 4 2/3 innings in his MLB debut on June 13, but also walked five. I expect the Padres to take advantage of his lack of experience in the big leagues. 10* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
06-17-21 | Tigers v. Angels -1.5 | Top | 5-7 | Win | 100 | 16 h 36 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back an angry Los Angeles Angels team looking to make amends after suffering a three-game sweep at Oakland. The Halos did put up five, four and four runs in the losses, and they should have little trouble putting runs on the board off right-hander Matt Manning who will be making his major league debut. Note that Manning is 1-3 with an 8.07 ERA in seven starts for the Toledo Mud Hens in Triple-A this season. The Angels counter with right-hander Shohei Ohtani (2-1, 2.85 ERA) who is 1-0 with a 1.85 ERA through 24 1/3 innings at home on the year. 10* play on Los Angeles Angels -1.5. |
06-15-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Rockies | 4-8 | Loss | -145 | 15 h 31 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* Good spot to back the San Diego Padres to avenge a disappointing loss as a road favorite here at Coors on Monday. Padres' veteran righty Yu Darvish (6-2, 2.28 ERA) fanned eight while allowing only two runs on three hits through seven innings against the Cubs last time out. Darvish knocked out 10 Rockies' and allowed only four hits through seven innings of a 7-0 Padres win against Colorado on May 17. Rockies' righty Chi Chi Gonzalez (2-4, 5.74 ERA) was lit up with eight runs on 11 hits in five innings of an 11-4 loss at Miami in his last start. The Padres are averaging 5.00 runs per nine innings in their away games this season, and I think this will be another rough outing for Gonzalez. 8* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
06-14-21 | Diamondbacks v. Giants -1.5 | 2-5 | Win | 106 | 12 h 28 m | Show
MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Arizona Diamondbacks are just 8-25 SU and 13-19 against the runline as underdogs on the road in 2021. The San Francisco Giants are 15-4 SU and 11-8 against the runline as home favorites. Giants' left-hander Alex Wood (5-3, 3.79 ERA) has not been at his best lately, but here he'll face an Arizona team that is averaging only 3.47 runs per game away from home. The D'backs hand the ball to Matt Peacock (2-3, 5.24 ERA) for his 14th outing, sixth start, of the season. Peacock is 0-2 with an 8.53 ERA in two starts this month. Arizona has lost nine of its last 10 and I don't see Peacock outperforming Wood in this one. 8* play on San Francisco Giants -1.5. |
06-13-21 | Pirates v. Brewers -1.5 | 2-5 | Win | 104 | 12 h 13 m | Show
SUNDAY AFTERNOON RUNLINE RIPPER *NO-BRAINER* The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost six straight games and hand the ball to Wil Crowe (0-4, 7.26 ERA) for his ninth appearance (eighth start) of the season. The team has won only two of the games he's been involved in and Crowe was tagged with eight runs on eight hits in four innings of a 10-5 loss at Kansas City in his last start. The Milwaukee Brewers counter with Adrian Houser (4-5, 3.66 ERA) who has allowed a total of only two runs over his last three starts, covering 15 1/3 innings of work. Houser has posted a 1.83 ERA in four day starts on the season. The Brewers have won eight of their last nine games, covering the runline in each win. 8* play on Milwaukee Brewers -1.5. |
06-11-21 | White Sox -1.5 v. Tigers | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -103 | 19 h 25 m | Show |
AL EAST GAME OF THE YEAR | TOP-RATED 10* MLB MAJOR WAGER The Chicago White Sox have won five of their last seven, including three of four against the Tigers last week. The lone loss in that series came against Detroit left-hander Tarik Skubal (3-7, 4.33 ERA) who held the White Sox to one run on four hits through five innings. That was a rare loss against a left-handed starter for the White Sox who are 14-4 against southpaws on the season and I expect them to rough up the Tigers lefty tonight. Right-hander Lucas Giolito (5-5, 3.88 ERA) will take the ball for Chicago. He had allowed one run in three straight starts before getting tagged with all four runs in the 4-3 loss to Detroit and Skubal last week. All things considered, I expect to see a motivated White Sox lineup and a strong outing from Giolito, making this well worthy of a Game of the Year tag! 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
05-27-21 | Orioles v. White Sox -1.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show
THURSDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The Chicago White Sox are slaying left-handers, and here they'll get a look at Orioles' southpaw Bruce Zimmermann who is 2-3 with a 5.59 ERA on the season. In his last start, Zimmermann was tagged with five runs on seven hits in three innings at Washington. White Sox righty Dylan Cease (2-1, 3.18 ERA) was lit up in a loss to the Yankees last time out, but the team had won each of his last five starts prior to that with Cease giving up only five runs over 27 innings of work. 8* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
