11-24-22 | Patriots v. Vikings -2.5 | Top | 26-33 | Win | 100 | 10 h 41 m | Show |
The first regular-season game Kevin O'Connell participated in during his fleeting NFL playing career came in late-game relief for New England in a rare lopsided loss. The Patriots had a bye the following week, and sure enough coach Bill Belichick had them ready for a bounce-back victory. Even after Tom Brady was lost for the year with a knee injury in the opener, the Patriots finished that 2008 season with an 11-5 record. The response to the Week 3 blowout was methodical, not maniacal. The message was about controlling what was in their control and simply letting the rest of it go. "That sticks with me to this very day, just as an example of what it's like to coach in those moments where adversity hits and how you need to be at your best for your team," O'Connell said. The first-year Minnesota Vikings coach has found himself in that very situation this week, following a 40-3 loss to Dallas. The Vikings (8-2) host the Patriots (6-4), still coached by Belichick all these years later, on Thursday night with only four days to regroup. O'Connell, fittingly, will experience one of the biggest tests of his mettle as the boss against a coach who significantly influenced his know-how and perspective. |

11-24-22 | Mississippi State v. Ole Miss UNDER 62 | Top | 24-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
Ole Miss and Mississippi State are not where they wanted to be on Thanksgiving weekend, and it remains to be seen whether Lane Kiffin is coming to the party known in Mississippi as the Egg Bowl. The Rebels (8-3, 4-3 Southeastern Conference) were ranked in the AP Top 10 after winning their first seven games, but they've lost three of their past four, and the defeats have come by an average of two touchdowns. The Bulldogs (7-4, 3-4) were ranked No. 16 after starting the season 5-1, but they have lost three of their past five overall and three of their past four SEC games. To add a dash of drama reports Kiffin was on the verge of bowing out of his job at Ole Miss to accept an offer at Auburn surfaced Monday night. Kiffin replied to the report with a matter-of-fact "news to me," to lead off a string of social media posts denying he'd be anywhere except the annual Battle for the Golden Egg on Thursday night in Oxford, Miss. The winner's season will look a whole lot better before the teams head off to their respective bowl games. |

11-24-22 | Giants v. Cowboys UNDER 45.5 | Top | 20-28 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys channeled the anger from a collapse one week into the biggest road rout in club history the next. Now they're thinking about building on all the things that went right while the opponent tries to figure out what went wrong. The New York Giants visit the Cowboys on Thanksgiving with the NFC East rivals sharing 7-3 records, two games behind division-leading Philadelphia. Not much else is similar for this pair of playoff contenders, the Cowboys are healthy and appearing primed to get on a roll, the Giants sputtering and dealing with injuries. Dallas blew a 14-point lead entering the fourth quarter for the first time in franchise history in an overtime loss at Green Bay before one of its most dominant performances in a long time in a 40-3 victory at Minnesota. Prescott is finding a rhythm after missing five games with a fractured thumb on his throwing hand, surrounded by a mostly healthy roster with plenty of playmakers on defense, too. |

11-24-22 | Giants +10.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 20-28 | Win | 100 | 6 h 3 m | Show |
The Giants just gave up season highs in points and turnovers (three) in a 31-18 loss to Detroit that dropped them into a tie with the Cowboys. Since Dallas won 23-16 at New York in Week 3, the Giants would essentially fall two games behind the defending NFC East champions with another loss to them. This is where the short week could come in handy for New York. It's just the second Thanksgiving meeting out of 122 overall in the storied rivalry. "I think it makes it easier because we have no choice, but to quickly move on to the next opponent," Giants defensive end Leonard Williams said. "Regardless of win or lose, every week we talk about flushing the last game and moving on to the next one." New York quarterback Daniel Jones has four rushing touchdowns, more than in any of his first three seasons. He probably doesn't want to be reminded of one he didn't get last season. |

11-24-22 | Bills v. Lions +9.5 | Top | 28-25 | Win | 100 | 2 h 48 m | Show |
The Buffalo Bills are back in Detroit and this time, they're facing the suddenly surging Lions on Thanksgiving. The NFL shifted Buffalo's previous home game against Cleveland to Ford Field after a winter storm dumped several feet of snow across the Buffalo area. The Bills dug out of their snow-packed home and some needed help from team employees, neighbors and strangers to get out of town before beating the Browns to end a two-game losing streak. Buffalo (7-3) is tied with Miami atop the AFC East and needs another win to keep pace with the Dolphins while holding off New England and the New York Jets, teams in the division that are only one game back. "These short weeks are pretty tough in terms of scheduling and guys trying to get their bodies right to play, but it's tough for them as well," quarterback Josh Allen said. Detroit (4-6) has won three games in a row for the first time in five years and the last such stretch of success was snapped on Thanksgiving, starting a five-game losing streak on the holiday. |

11-22-22 | Ball State v. Miami-OH UNDER 45.5 | Top | 17-18 | Win | 100 | 7 h 53 m | Show |
Ball State (5-6, 3-4 MAC) is receiving its third and final shot at bowl eligibility. The Cardinals spent their prior two weeks pitted against potential MAC Championship Game participants Toledo and Ohio, and neither game wound up in their favor. But the loss to Ohio was even more costly as Ball State watched star running back Carson Steele leave the game with an injury after a brutal head-on collision with the turf. |

11-22-22 | Ball State +2.5 v. Miami-OH | Top | 17-18 | Win | 100 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Carson Steele is Ball State’s offense this season. The running back ranks ninth in the FBS in rushing yards with 1,376 and the true sophomore has 12 rushing touchdowns in addition. Steele utilizes his 6’1”, 215-pound frame and impressive weight room numbers to shed tackles at a jaw-dropping rate. Last week, the midgame injury left him four yards shy of his sixth consecutive 100-yard rushing game. With his status in doubt Tuesday, Ball State must reimagine its offense, but the Cardinals could still lean heavily on the run game with Will Jones and Vaughn Pemberton out of the gate. |

11-20-22 | Bears +3 v. Falcons | Top | 24-27 | Push | 0 | 22 h 5 m | Show |
Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears are learning how to score in the quarterback's second season. Learning to win has been the more difficult lesson. Fields will be in the spotlight for his Georgia homecoming as the Bears and Atlanta Falcons match strong running games - and deflating losing streaks - on Sunday. Fields, a native of the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw, began his college career at Georgia before transferring to Ohio State. Fields' family had Falcons season tickets. He said his favorite Atlanta players were quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones. Fields didn't know how many of his friends and family members will attend the game. "I know my regular people are going - my mom, my dad," Fields said. "But of course, it's exciting, for sure. My goal really is just to go 1-0 this week and win the game down there." Fields, a 2021 first-round pick, has solidified his status as the Bears' franchise quarterback by leading the NFL's top rushing offense. He returns to Atlanta after rushing for a combined 325 yards the last two weeks, the highest two-game total by an NFL quarterback, surpassing the 268 two-game total by Baltimore's Lamar Jackson in 2019. Fields ran for 178 yards against Miami two weeks ago and added 147 in last week's 31-30 loss to Detroit. He will be the top priority for Atlanta's defense. |

11-19-22 | UL-Monroe +15 v. Troy | Top | 16-34 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 24 m | Show |
Louisiana-Monroe is coming off back-to-back wins after losing four straight games earlier in the season. Monroe defeated Texas State by 1-point and in their latest game, they went on the road to defeat Georgia State 31-28. The Warhawks defeated the Panthers in unconventional ways of scoring. Their first touchdown came in the second quarter off of a 23-yard blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown. Late in the fourth quarter, the Warhawks were trailing by five points, and they took a 34-yard interception to the house for a pick-six. The touchdown gave Monroe a 31-28 lead with 6-minutes to go in the game. Georgia State would be stopped on fourth down in their next two possessions to close out the game and give Monroe the victory. “Two good wins in a row and we won our first game on the road. We’ll enjoy this game tonight and then we’ll get on to Troy tomorrow," head coach Terry Bowden said following the win. |

11-19-22 | Boston College v. Notre Dame UNDER 43.5 | Top | 0-44 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 21 m | Show |
No. 18 Notre Dame will look to extend a four-game winning streak and continue its dominance in the annual Holy War rivalry game against Boston College on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. The Fighting Irish (7-3) have rebounded well after an 0-2 start. Offensively, things have clicked with Notre Dame scoring at least 35 points in each contest of the streak, including a 35-32 win last weekend against Navy. Boston College (3-7) has had a largely forgettable season but made a statement with a 21-20 upset win at then No. 16 NC State last Saturday. Emmett Morehead threw a 2-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds remaining to Joseph Griffin Jr. to clinch Boston College's first win over a Top 25 team in eight years. To get another upset, the Eagles will have to reverse their difficult history against Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have won eight straight in the rivalry. In each of the past three meetings, they scored at least 40 points and each game was decided by at least two touchdowns. The last time Boston College beat Notre Dame came on Nov. 8, 2008, a 17-0 Eagles victory. |

11-19-22 | Indiana +11.5 v. Michigan State | Top | 39-31 | Win | 100 | 1 h 60 m | Show |
Indiana (3-7, 1-6) will look to snap a seven-game losing streak. The Hoosiers had the misfortune of facing Penn State and Ohio State on back-to-back weekends and got pummeled each time. It's uncertain whether Indiana will go with Connor Bazelak, who has started most of the season, or Dexter Williams II at quarterback this week. The Spartans have won 11 of the last 13 meetings with the Hoosiers. The winner will get the traditional trophy, the Old Brass Spittoon. "Not every program has the opportunity to play trophy games and rivalry games," Indiana coach Tom Allen said. "It's a great opportunity for us to play for the Brass Spittoon, a trophy we've had twice since I've been here and they currently have it right now. Much, much to play for." |

11-19-22 | Illinois +17.5 v. Michigan | Top | 17-19 | Win | 100 | 1 h 57 m | Show |
That matchup will feature two of the best backs in the country, as Chase Brown, the nation's leading rusher, spearheads the Fighting Illini (7-3, 4-3) offense in a showdown with Corum and Michigan. Brown rushed for 100-plus yards in 10 straight games, but was held to 98 last week in Illinois' 31-24 loss to Purdue. It was the first time the Illini lost back-to-back games this season. Brown went down on the sideline in the fourth quarter with a right leg injury and had to exit the game. Illinois coach Bret Bielema said Brown is working toward playing this week. "Very positive and excited, but don't know where we'll be by Friday for the trip and Saturday for the game," Bielema said. Bielema said that linebacker Seth Coleman has been cleared to practice. He entered the concussion protocol and was forced to miss the meeting with the Boilermakers. Coleman has 16 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season. |

11-19-22 | Illinois v. Michigan UNDER 42 | Top | 17-19 | Win | 100 | 1 h 47 m | Show |
The last time Michigan went 12-0, Brian Griese was starting under center, a young Tom Brady had only 15 pass attempts in his sophomore season and Charles Woodson was headlining a defense allowing 9.5 points per game. That was back in 1997, but the third-ranked Wolverines find themselves in a position to replicate that record. First, they'll have to get past No. 21 Illinois on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich. Michigan (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) maintained its pristine record, coasting to a 34-3 victory against Nebraska last week. J.J. McCarthy completed 8 of 17 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Blake Corum added a score on the ground to go along with 162 rushing yards on 28 carries. "Just feel great. Just so appreciative of everybody, really -- players, coaches, staff, all the hard work that's gone in," Wolverines coach John Harbaugh said. "The mission continues. It's a happy mission. ... Keep it rolling, keep it going, and guys are a joy to be around. Excited about the matchup that we have this week." |

11-17-22 | Titans v. Packers UNDER 41 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 52 m | Show |
Aaron Rodgers appreciates the way the Tennessee Titans have turned their season around. The reigning MVP quarterback hopes his Green Bay Packers can dig themselves out of an even bigger hole than Tennessee. First, the Packers must find a way to cool off those AFC South-leading Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. "They lost their first two games, and I think just like happens in this league, there's probably overreactions and what the hell's going on and what are we going to do," Rodgers said. "And I think they rattled off like five or six wins in a row and kind of quieted everybody up." The Titans (6-3) bounced back from that 0-2 start by winning six of their next seven, including five in a row. Derrick Henry has rushed for 923 yards, 8 behind NFL leader Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants. Green Bay (4-6) had lost five straight - its longest skid since 2008 - before rallying from a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 in overtime on Sunday. |

11-16-22 | Miami-OH +1.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 29-23 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show |
Desperation can be a positive. Miami University is out of the MAC title hunt, but it’s still alive for a bowl game if it can win this and take out Ball State next week. To do that, it has to stop the Northern Illinois running game. The Huskies' offensive line has the ability to take over at times for a ground attack that averages close to 200 yards per game. Miami University wins when it holds up against the run, it has to get the passing game going, and it takes games over when it’s able to get its own rushing attack rolling, too. The RedHawks are 3-1 when they run for 200 yards |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Chargers v. 49ers UNDER 45.5 | Top | 16-22 | Win | 100 | 32 h 4 m | Show |
San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan has been known as one of the NFL's most creative play-callers. The midseason addition of Christian McCaffrey has only expanded the possibilities for the 49ers, who now feature two of the game's most versatile players in McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. McCaffrey is a former All-Pro running back who has caught more passes than all but 12 wide receivers since he entered the NFL five years ago. Samuel is a former All-Pro receiver who has more TD runs of at least 10 yards than all but one running back in the past two years. "It's just like so crazy how much firepower we have in this offense now, adding him to the team along with all the other guys that we have on our team," Samuel said. "It's going to be crazy. It's going to be hard to cover everybody out there. It will be real fun." The first defense that will have to contend with the dynamic duo will be the struggling Los Angeles Chargers (5-3), who head into Sunday night's showdown with the 49ers (4-4) having allowed the third-most points in the NFL and a league-worst six runs of at least 40 yards. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Cardinals v. Rams UNDER 40 | Top | 27-17 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams are only eight games removed from their Super Bowl victory. The Arizona Cardinals are just nine games removed from an 11-win season and a playoff appearance. Yet the stakes seem fairly high for these two struggling NFC West rivals in their second meeting of the new season, and it's because both realize they're running out of time to write a proper sequel to last year's successes. "We ain't got too much more room to keep losing now," said Donald, the Rams' seven-time All-Pro. "It's time to find a way to go on a run. Go week to week and just keep trying to stack up wins." The Rams (3-5) are two games under .500 for the first time in coach Sean McVay's career after losing four of their last five games. The Cardinals (3-6) have also lost four of five, and coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn't exactly have the same ironclad job security as McVay. After Los Angeles - which has won 11 of the last 12 meetings in this matchup - hosts Arizona at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, the loser will be in a formidable hole in last place in the division. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Lions v. Bears OVER 48.5 | Top | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 25 h 47 m | Show |
Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell started rattling off names when asked about Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. It was an impressive list: Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Jalen Hurts. Campbell sees a little bit of each of them in Fields, and he'll get an up-close look when the Lions visit the Bears on Sunday. "Quarterback-driven runs, guard-tackle pulls, read the end, hand it off, these backs are running hard, they're downhill," he said. "And then, there's enough of the keepers off of it. There's enough misdirection to the receivers. And then, certainly his ability on third down, that's where they really got Miami was man, there's a number of third-and-8, third-and-10 ... there's an opening in there and he takes it and he's gone." The Bears (3-6) come in with five losses in the past six games. But the big story is Fields' improvement. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Texans v. Giants OVER 40.5 | Top | 16-24 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 40 m | Show |
After seeing the New York Giants get off to a great start under first-year coach Brian Daboll, Justin Ellis wanted to share some thoughts - and a warning - with his teammates. The 31-year-old defensive tackle is in his ninth NFL season and spent the last two-plus years with the Ravens and was part of their teams that went 14-2 and 11-5 and went to the playoffs. Known to his teammates as `Jelly,' he was also in Baltimore when they opened last season at 6-2 and finished 8-9, missing the postseason. It's something that's spot on as the Giants (6-2) come out of their bye week to face the Houston Texans (1-6-1) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Ellis said looking at the Texans' record and thinking it's going to be an easy game is a mistake. "You have to have the right mindset," Ellis said. "The one thing about the NFL is on any given Sunday, so you've got to come every Sunday. Every team has talent. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Saints v. Steelers UNDER 40 | Top | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 34 m | Show |
Mike Tomlin is not ready to bail on 2022, even as the reality that at 2-6 the Pittsburgh Steelers have dug themselves a hole so deep it's difficult to imagine they dig out in time to be anything other than a spoiler down the stretch. Not that Tomlin wants to dwell on a first half that was Pittsburgh's worst since 2013. "The windshield component is the big picture for us as opposed to the rearview mirror," Tomlin said, later adding, "we can't worry about the things that are behind us. We'd better get focused on the things that are immediately in front of us." New Orleans isn't much better. The Saints are 3-6 heading into Sunday's visit to Pittsburgh after getting manhandled at home by Baltimore last Monday. Unlike the Steelers, however, New Orleans plays in the underwhelming NFC South and is very much in it in a division that entered mid-November without a team with a winning record. |
|||||||
11-13-22 | Browns v. Dolphins OVER 49 | Top | 17-39 | Win | 100 | 24 h 28 m | Show |
Mike McDaniel believes playing in tight games can lead to more wins late in the season. Being involved in close contests, as his Miami Dolphins have all season, could give a team a competitive edge if they're able to learn from them. "It kind of snowballs for teams where you can be in tight games consecutively," the first-year Dolphins coach said. "And you can find yourself with the same result until you get yourself out of it either way." The Dolphins have played in five games decided by a touchdown or less. They've won them all. On Sunday, Miami will host the Cleveland Browns, who have struggled to win close games. Despite having the NFL's fourth-ranked offense behind a dominant rushing attack, the Browns have lost four of the five games they've played that were decided by a field goal or less. Now, they're on the outside of the AFC playoff picture with nine games left. "For us, it really does go back to a one-game season," Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. "One game, this one is important, the next one is going to be important and so on. For us, we totally understand where we are, but we have to focus on going 1-0 down against a very, very good football team on the road." The Browns have only been in three double-digit games. The most recent was their surprising 32-13 blowout of the Bengals. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Utah State v. Hawaii +11.5 | Top | 41-34 | Win | 100 | 30 h 26 m | Show |
Hawaii was on the road in their last game and had one to forget in a 55-13 blowout loss at the hands of Fresno State. They were down 31-0 at the half, were outgained 572 yards to 362 yards, and gave up 245 rushing yards. The Rainbow Warriors did not cover the spread despite being a 27.5-point underdog and they had covered in their previous four games. Even though they only have one MWC win this season they have covered six of their last seven conference games. |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Utah State v. Hawaii UNDER 54 | Top | 41-34 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 57 m | Show |
Hawaii is only averaging 17.8 ppg while giving up an average of 35.8 ppg. On offense, they do not rank in the top 91 in the nation in passing or rushing yards per game. Sophomore QB Brayden Schager (1,610 yards 7 TD 7 INT) ranks 118th in the nation in QBR but has passed for over 200 yards in each of the last two games where he has three TD and only one INT. The Rainbow Warriors have four players with over 200 receiving yards led by Zion Bowens (289 3 TD) but he does not have more than 35 receiving yards in any of the last three games. Dedrick Parson and Tylan Hines have combined for over 1,000 rushing yards this season and Hines has 182 rushing yards in the last two games. Look for Hawaii to run the ball often in this game, as Utah State has one of the best pass defenses in the nation |
|||||||
11-12-22 | Arizona v. UCLA -19.5 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 7 m | Show |
No. 12 UCLA can run the ball, and Arizona has trouble stopping it. The teams' Saturday night matchup in Pasadena, Calif., might not get more complicated than that. The Bruins (8-1, 5-1 Pac-12) are seventh nationally and first in the conference in rushing yards per game (242.3), and they are coming off a 402-yard performance on the ground in a 50-36 road win over Arizona State, despite star running back Zach Charbonnet being unavailable due to injury. Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson contributed 120 rushing yards, Kazmeir Allen rushed for 137 and Keegan Jones added 98. |

11-12-22 | New Mexico +21.5 v. Air Force | Top | 3-35 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 4 m | Show |
It’s a battle of Mountain West opponents from the aptly named Mountain Division when New Mexico plays the Air Force. The Lobos (2-7, 0-5) dropped their sixth straight game, a 27-10 loss to Utah State and a loss ATS as 14.5 underdogs. The Falcons (6-3, 2-3) took the Commanders’ Classic, 13-7, over Army last week, but for their second straight loss, ATS barely missed as -7 favorites. Over three touchdowns is too much for a Falcons team that might be looking ahead. |

11-12-22 | UL-Monroe v. Georgia State -13.5 | Top | 31-28 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 25 m | Show |
Louisiana Monroe is one of the worst defensive teams in the country, giving up 36.8 points per game. They gave up 30 points in their last game and will need to do a better job if they want to stay within the number. |

11-12-22 | Vanderbilt +17.5 v. Kentucky | Top | 24-21 | Win | 100 | 19 h 9 m | Show |
If attaining bowl eligibility with last weekend's win over Missouri wasn't enough to keep complacency from becoming an issue with Kentucky, the Wildcats got another boost with Tuesday night's release of the latest College Football Playoff rankings. The Wildcats (6-3, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) will take a No. 24 CFP ranking into Saturday afternoon's matchup with Vanderbilt in Lexington, Ky. It is the second consecutive season the Wildcats have earned a spot in the CFP's Top 25. They finished No. 22 in last season's final pre-bowl poll. At his weekly media conference earlier in the day, coach Mark Stoops talked about the importance of a strong finish for his team. "With three games left in November, we still have to be relentless in our improvement," Stoops said. "We've got to finish strong. That old saying 'remember November' is no joke. You want to remember how you finish." The Wildcats will be going for their 40th win in the last five seasons when they open a three-game homestand against the Commodores (3-6, 0-5). Matchups against Georgia and Louisville will follow. An improbable sweep of all three would put the Wildcats in position for a second consecutive 10-win season, including a bowl game. |

11-12-22 | Indiana v. Ohio State OVER 60.5 | Top | 14-56 | Win | 100 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Ohio State looks to regain its swagger on offense when the No. 2 Buckeyes host Indiana on Saturday in Columbus. After enduring torrential rain and a wind averaging nearly 30 mph to win 21-7 at Northwestern last week, the Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) want to take their frustrations out on the downtrodden Hoosiers (3-6, 1-5), who have lost six in a row. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday the running game remains a concern even though the Buckeyes produced 207 rushing yards vs. Northwestern after managing a combined 164 yards in the previous two games vs. Iowa and Penn State. The Buckeyes were stuffed several times on short-yardage situations at Northwestern, including on third- and fourth-down needing a yard in the first quarter when Miyan Williams had the two runs for no yards. |

11-11-22 | Fresno State -9.5 v. UNLV | Top | 37-30 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 0 m | Show |
The Fresno State Bulldogs will try to continue their dominance over the UNLV Rebels when the teams meet in a Mountain West Conference game on Friday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Bulldogs have won the last four matchups against the Rebels. The average score over those four games has been 46-22. Fresno State last lost to UNLV in October 2017, losing 26-16. The Bulldogs (5-4, 4-1 in MWC) enter this season's game tied atop the West Division. The Rebels (4-5, 2-3), who have lost four in a row, are in fourth place. Simply put, UNLV has run out of gas. |

11-11-22 | Colorado v. USC -34 | Top | 17-55 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
The USC defense has excelled at generating turnovers, boasting 18 through nine games. Coupled with Williams' savvy play at quarterback -- he has thrown 28 touchdown passes against one interception -- the Trojans enjoy the nation's best turnover margin at plus-16 for the season. Colorado (1-8, 1-5) will try to jump-start its struggling offense, which ranks worst among all Power Five conference teams and ahead of only Colorado State and Massachusetts in FBS scoring averages. The Buffs are producing 15.6 points per game, backsliding after a promising, 34-point effort in an Oct. 29 loss to Arizona State. Colorado managed 10 points in a 39-point loss to Oregon last week. The Buffs have never beaten USC in program history, a streak encompassing 15 games and dating back to 1927. Since Colorado joined the Pac-12 in 2011, the Trojans have won the 10 meetings by an average of 17.4 points per game -- though three of the last six were decided by four points or fewer. |

11-10-22 | Tulsa v. Memphis -6.5 | Top | 10-26 | Win | 100 | 14 h 2 m | Show |
Memphis will look to end a four-game losing streak when it hosts struggling Tulsa in American Athletic Conference play on Thursday. The Tigers (4-5, 2-4 AAC) are coming off a 35-28 loss to visiting UCF in which the No. 25 Knights broke open a tie game with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to deal Memphis its longest losing streak since 2013. Tulsa (3-6, 1-4) fell behind 17-3 midway through the second quarter and never recovered in a 27-13 loss at No. 19 Tulane. It was the Golden Hurricane's fifth defeat in their past six games. Memphis must win two of its final three games to be bowl-eligible for the ninth straight season, while the Golden Hurricane must win their final three games to qualify for the postseason for the third straight year. |

11-09-22 | Buffalo v. Central Michigan OVER 54 | Top | 27-31 | Win | 100 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
UB comes up with takeaways in spurts – it came up with four or more in three games – and Central Michigan will be happy to oblige. The Chippewas are a horrendous -12 in turnover margin with two or more fumbles in five of the last six games. That should help provide plenty of scoring chances. |

11-08-22 | Eastern Michigan v. Akron UNDER 57 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The Eastern Michigan Eagles (5-4) travel to InfoCision Stadium as they match up against the Akron Zips (1-8) in a MACtion battle on Tuesday night. This will be the 33rd contest in history between these schools. Akron is leading the all-time series 19-14. Despite that, the Eagles are currently on a two-game winning streak. In 2019, Eastern Michigan beat Akron 42-14. |

11-07-22 | Ravens v. Saints UNDER 46.5 | Top | 27-13 | Win | 100 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
The New Orleans Saints' first season since former coach Sean Payton's retirement has been a struggle. Yet first-year coach Dennis Allen's chances of salvaging this campaign rose considerably last week with a dominant, shutout victory that harkened back to the Saints squads that made four straight playoff appearances from 2017 to 2020. "Now the goal is to try to duplicate that," Allen said as New Orleans (3-5) headed into a major Monday night test against the well-rested Baltimore Ravens (5-3), who are trying to maintain their hold on first place in the AFC North. Still two games below .500 - but just one game out of first in an NFC South that has been rife with mediocrity - the Saints have been cautious about making too much out of one exceptional performance. "It was good because that was on par with who we are and what we're capable of doing," Saints linebacker and defensive captain Demario Davis said. "But there's still more out there and we've got to get it." The Ravens helped the Saints in Week 8, knocking off Tampa Bay in a Thursday night game. They've since had extra days to come up with ways to attack New Orleans. |

11-06-22 | Rams v. Bucs UNDER 42.5 | Top | 13-16 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show |
When Tom Brady ended his brief retirement, citing "unfinished business" as motivation for continuing his record-breaking football career, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in last season's playoffs was still fresh on the Tampa Bay quarterback's mind. The last two Super Bowl winners meet Sunday for the fourth time in three seasons, but the 45-year-old Brady will be looking for a lot more than payback. The Buccaneers (3-5) have lost five of six following a 2-0 start. Brady has dropped three straight starts for the first time in two decades, and the seven-time NFL champion has been unable to beat the Rams since moving from New England to Tampa Bay in 2020. The Rams (3-4) are also below .500, searching for answers to turning around a slower-than-expected start after ending Tampa Bay's bid to repeat as Super Bowl champs last January and going on to win the Lombardi Trophy themselves. |
|||||||
11-06-22 | Chargers v. Falcons OVER 49 | Top | 20-17 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 14 m | Show |
The Atlanta Falcons have remained consistent in their commitment to running the ball without becoming predictable. Los Angeles Chargers coach Brandon Staley says that's why the surprising Falcons are leading the NFC South. "There is a reason why they are first in their division," Staley said. "They are number one in their division because they've put together a really good season on offense." The Falcons (4-4) will look to stay there when they play the Chargers (4-3), who are coming off a bye week, on Sunday. Atlanta remained competitive despite playing its last four games without top running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who had knee surgery. Patterson returned to practice on Wednesday and could come off injured reserve as soon as Sunday. Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota will face the Chargers' Justin Herbert in a matchup of Oregon alumni. The Falcons rank fifth in the league in rushing and 29th in passing. Even so, Mariota has thrown seven touchdown passes in the last four games. |

11-06-22 | Bills v. Jets UNDER 46 | Top | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 2 h 11 m | Show |
Buffalo beat Green Bay on Sunday night, 27-17. The Bills have outscored their opponents by 105 points this season (203-98), which is the biggest differential in the NFL. The only other times the Bills have led the NFL in that category were 2021 (+194) and 1990 (+165) |
|||||||
11-06-22 | Colts v. Patriots UNDER 40.5 | Top | 3-26 | Win | 100 | 2 h 8 m | Show |
The Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots meet for the second straight year with their seasons at a crossroads. Last year, both were coming off bye-week breaks entering Week 15 when the Colts - 7-6 at the time - hosted a Patriots squad that was 9-4 and riding a seven-game winning streak. The Colts rallied behind a 170-yard rushing performance from Jonathan Taylor to pull out a 27-17 win. But Indy couldn't ride the ripples of that victory and dropped two of its final three games, missing the playoffs. The Patriots' loss started a stretch during which they lost three of four to end the regular season. They made the playoffs but were blown out in the wild-card round by Buffalo. The circumstances are a bit different entering Sunday's matchup - yet the outcome could again have a lasting impact on both teams' prospects. |

11-05-22 | Auburn +13 v. Mississippi State | Top | 33-39 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Auburn interim coach Carnell "Cadillac" Williams will hope to salvage the Tigers' season, beginning with a game at slumping Mississippi State on Saturday night in Starkville, Miss. Williams, who was in his fourth season of coaching the Tigers' running backs, replaced Bryan Harsin after he was dismissed on Monday after less than two seasons on the job. "I truly believe Auburn has the potential to be a championship program once again," Harsin wrote in a statement on Tuesday. "The resources, financial support, and fan base are in place." The Tigers (3-5, 1-4 SEC), mired in a four-game losing streak, went 9-12 under Harsin, with losses in 10 of their past 13 games dating to last season. Mississippi State (5-3, 2-3) is coming off a 30-6 loss at then-No. 6 Alabama, the Bulldogs' second straight loss after opening the season 5-1. The Bulldogs and Tigers play contrasting styles of offense. |

11-05-22 | Texas -2.5 v. Kansas State | Top | 34-27 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show |
Kansas State is coming off a historic victory. Now it's time to prove that it was not a fluke. The Wildcats, ranked No. 13 in the first College Football Playoff poll, defeated then-No. 9 Oklahoma State 48-0 last Saturday, the largest shutout ever over a top-10 team by a team lower in the rankings. It was the Wildcats' first victory over the Cowboys in Chris Klieman's four years as head coach. They'll face another squad Klieman hasn't defeated when No. 24 Texas comes to Manhattan, Kan. on Saturday for a primetime showdown. K-State (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) played exceptionally well against the Cowboys, and two Wildcats earned Big 12 player of the week honors. Quarterback Will Howard, who played for injured starter Adrian Martinez, earned offensive player of the week after going 21-of-37 for 296 passing yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Punter Ty Zentner was selected special teams player of the week after serving as punter, placekicker, and kickoff specialist. He hit both field goals and all six extra points, plus placed two of his four punts inside the 20 without a touchback. The defense shut out the Cowboys, who came into the game averaging 44.7 points per game, tied for third in the FBS. The last time the Cowboys were shut out was Nov. 28, 2009, when they were blanked by Oklahoma, 27-0. The Cowboys also were held to 217 yards of total offense, less than half their season average (466.9 yards per game). |

11-05-22 | Troy v. UL-Lafayette UNDER 43 | Top | 23-17 | Win | 100 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
Forget the mediocre 4-4 overall record and 2-3 in Sun Belt mark Louisiana-Lafayette possesses going into its home contest against Troy on Saturday. At least, the Trojans’ coach Jon Sumrall isn’t paying any attention to it. What the first-year coach has researched is the Ragin’ Cajuns have had their way with the Trojans the past two seasons – winning 35-21 at Troy a year ago and 53-3 in 2019, the last time Troy made a visit to Lafayette. The two teams didn’t play in 2020. “The last couple of outcomes against them for us have not been good,” Sumrall said. “We haven’t beaten Louisiana-Lafayette in a long time around here. “That’s a really big test for us, and we’re ready for it. I think our guys will be mentally prepared and locked in, but we’ve got a good opponent we better be prepared for or we’ll get exposed. |

11-05-22 | Central Florida v. Memphis +3 | Top | 35-28 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 53 m | Show |
UCF just passed a pressure-packed test, one that coach Gus Malzahn admittedly would have preferred his team not have to take. Now the Knights, No. 25 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, have to prove they can win on the road. UCF (6-2, 3-1 American Athletic Conference) travels to Memphis (4-4, 2-3) on Saturday afternoon. The Knights are coming off a 25-21 home win over conference power Cincinnati, which was 20th in the AP poll a week ago and was a CFP playoff team last season. Leading 10-6 in the third quarter, UCF twice fumbled in the red zone. Those missed opportunities loomed large when they trailed 13-12 entering the fourth. Led by not-so-ordinary backup quarterback Mikey Keene, UCF capped a 77-yard drive with a touchdown with 4:36 left to take an 18-13 lead, surrendered a TD and two-point conversion about 1 1/2 minutes later and trailed 21-18, then responded again with RJ Harvey's 17-yard scoring run with 48 seconds left. |

11-05-22 | South Florida v. Temple +3.5 | Top | 28-54 | Win | 100 | 3 h 14 m | Show |
Temple and South Florida are the only teams yet to win a game in American Athletic Conference play this season. Off to 0-4 starts in league play, Temple and USF are hoping to emerge with the elusive AAC victory when the teams convene Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. Temple (2-6, 0-4 AAC) has dropped conference games to Memphis, Central Florida, Tulsa, and Navy. The Owls absorbed a 70-13 loss to UCF on Oct. 13, took an early 10-point lead in a 27-16 loss at Tulsa, and succumbed in overtime during last week's 27-20 loss to Navy. Amad Anderson Jr. caught a 20-yard touchdown for the Owls and finished with eight receptions for 114 yards. E.J. Warner, the son of Kurt Warner, completed 24 of 48 passes for 268 yards and was intercepted twice. Perhaps the most encouraging sign came from the defense's showing against the Navy's triple-option. The Owls conceded 224 yards from scrimmage -- well below Navy's 370 yards per game entering last week. |

11-05-22 | Marshall -3.5 v. Old Dominion | Top | 12-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 9 m | Show |
Nearly four months later, they’re still coming one at a time. When the Monarchs host Marshall at 2 p.m. Saturday, they don’t plan to look past nightfall. That’s when time and football will tell whether ODU (3-5, 2-2 Sun Belt) will have taken an important step toward bowl eligibility or whether an already uphill climb will have grown steeper. After Saturday, the Monarchs will face James Madison, Appalachian State, and South Alabama — all teams with records above .500. But Rahne, true to form, remains singularly focused on the Thundering Herd (4-4, 1-3) with three wins needed to make the postseason. |
|||||||
11-01-22 | Buffalo v. Ohio OVER 58.5 | Top | 24-45 | Win | 100 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
Ohio is facing its biggest test yet. The Bobcats begin Midweek MACtion this week, and it will be no easy feat. As if adjusting to playing in the middle of the week wasn’t hard enough, the Bobcats are facing the top team in the Mid-American Conference East Division: Buffalo. This game is especially important because it will determine if Buffalo stays atop the division, or if Ohio will take its place. It could also play a factor in who will be heading to Detroit for the MAC Championship Game. |
|||||||
10-29-22 | Coastal Carolina v. Marshall UNDER 54.5 | Top | 24-13 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
Marshall needs takeaways to win this, and Coastal Carolina likely won’t oblige. The Herd was able to come up with three or more takeaways in three of the last four games including five in the stunning win over James Madison. Most famously, the D generate three interceptions in the win at Notre Dame.Coastal Carolina had a turnover problem against Buffalo earlier in the season, but that’s been about it with just three giveaways in the last four games. |
|||||||
10-27-22 | UL-Lafayette v. Southern Miss UNDER 43 | Top | 24-39 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 18 m | Show |
Teams battling to stay in contention in the Sun Belt Conference West Division clash when the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns take on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles on Thursday night. The Ragin' Cajuns (4-3, 2-2) have won two in a row, including a 38-18 win over Arkansas State last Saturday. The Golden Eagles (4-3, 2-1), tied for second in the division, have won two in a row and four of five. Southern Miss is coming off a 20-14 victory at Texas State last weekend, after slipping past Arkansas State 20-19 the week before. |
|||||||
10-16-22 | Cowboys v. Eagles UNDER 42.5 | Top | 17-26 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 29 m | Show |
Jason Peters is ready to return to Philly and play in front of some bleeping idiots. His endearing words toward the fans, of course. A nine-time Pro Bowl pick and two-time All-Pro, Peters built a Hall of Fame-worthy career at left tackle for the Eagles that included a spot on the NFL's Team of the Decade for the 2010s. He missed out, though, on the biggest moment in franchise history when he suffered a torn ACL during the 2017 season and missed the Super Bowl. Peters still earned a Super Bowl ring but his performance never quite rebounded to an elite level. He spent last season with Chicago and signed this season with the Cowboys - you know, the Eagles' most-hated rival. Peters comes back for a pretty big game: The Eagles are 5-0 and the only undefeated team in the NFL. The Cowboys (4-1) have won four straight. The Eagles can take a two-game lead on the defending division champions with a victory on Sunday night. Philadelphia is 5-0 for the third time in franchise history. The Eagles started 7-0 in 2004 when they finished 13-3 in the regular season before falling in the Super Bowl to New England, and began 6-0 in 1981 but dropped their first playoff game. The Linc will be rowdy -- and Peters will be ready. |

10-13-22 | Washington Commanders v. Bears OVER 39.5 | Top | 12-7 | Loss | -110 | 87 h 44 m | Show |
This is a simple formula. Both teams have been under team over the years. It's been three seasons since both teams combined made over bettors a profit. Bets on the under are exactly what the books are anticipating and that's exactly what's happening early on with this number falling a point to 39.5. Don't take the bait. |
|||||||
10-13-22 | Temple v. Central Florida -23 | Top | 13-70 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
The Owls have been awful on offense but have played tremendous defense. This team lost 24-3 at Memphis last time out on Oct. 1, and it has been outscored 54-3 in a pair of road games while going 0-2 ATS. The offense ranks just 125th with 282.8 total yards per game. The Knights have scored 27 or more points in 3 straight games, and 4 of 5 games overall. The defense has been tremendous, however, allowing 20 or fewer points in all 5 outings and the Under has hit in 4 in a row. |
|||||||
10-10-22 | Raiders v. Chiefs UNDER 51.5 | Top | 29-30 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 21 m | Show |
Derek Carr has had a passer rating of under 100.0 in each of his last 11 games (including playoffs), the longest streak of his career. He had never previously gone more than seven straight games without a triple-digit rating.
|
|||||||
10-10-22 | Raiders +7 v. Chiefs | Top | 29-30 | Win | 100 | 16 h 14 m | Show |
The Raiders have been playing in close games lately, with their last nine games all decided by a single-digit margin (including playoffs). That's one shy of tying the franchise record of 10 straight, done twice (1975-76 and 1998-99).
|
|||||||
10-09-22 | Giants +9 v. Packers | Top | 27-22 | Win | 100 | 66 h 19 m | Show |
Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has done the London trip twice before as an offensive coordinator and "didn't leave the hotel either time." Safe to say he'd prefer star quarterback Aaron Rodgers - a Manchester City fan - not try to venture north for the Premier League champion's home game Saturday (though Rodgers could satisfy his soccer fix Friday night when the U.S. women's team faces European champion England in a friendly at Wembley Stadium). The Packers' schedule for their first-ever international regular-season game doesn't leave much time for sightseeing. Same goes for the New York Giants (3-1). Both teams are scheduled to arrive in the British capital Friday morning ahead of Sunday's game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Rodgers, a four-time MVP, had hoped the Packers (3-1) would arrive earlier in the week "to experience a little bit of that culture" but he knows ultimately it's a business trip - a long-awaited one at that. |

10-06-22 | Colts +3.5 v. Broncos | Top | 12-9 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan can sure feel each other's pain. None of the nine NFL teams that changed quarterbacks this season has a winning record heading into October. Two of them square off Thursday night when Ryan's beleaguered Indianapolis Colts (1-2-1) visit Wilson's banged-up Denver Broncos (2-2). Both QBs have found a rough transition to their new teams and both are missing key offensive and defensive players on a short week. Ryan has eight turnovers in four games, has been sacked 15 times and fumbled nine times in his first season since leaving Atlanta. Wilson is off to the slowest start of his career with just four TD passes in his first season out of Seattle. New surroundings, new teammates, new terminology are all hurdles that even former MVPs such as Ryan or Super Bowl winners such as Wilson have to overcome. |

10-03-22 | Rams v. 49ers | Top | 9-24 | Win | 100 | 30 h 36 m | Show |
The stakes will be far lower when the Los Angeles Rams visit the San Francisco 49ers for the third meeting between the teams this calendar year. The intensity is always high when these NFC West rivals meet. Ever since good friends Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan took over as coaches in Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2017, the franchises have used each other as measuring sticks. That will be no different on Monday night when the Rams (2-1) visit the 49ers (1-2). "A lot of these games over the last couple of years have been deciding factors for playoff seeding, home-field advantage, obviously an NFC championship thrown into the mix. So they've always had a huge level of importance," Niners right tackle Mike McGlinchey said. "We know each other very well. It's been a lot of the same core guys down there, it's been a lot of the same core guys up here. So it's always a fun battle." The Rams have had better team success with four playoff berths, two Super Bowl appearances and the title last season. The Niners have had the edge in the head-to-head battle, winning the past six regular-season matchups, including a Week 18 game last January that got them into the playoffs. But the Rams got their revenge a few weeks later when they beat San Francisco 20-17 in the NFC title game on the way to their Super Bowl victory. "We could talk about all those different games, but I think at the end of the day what it boils down to is they've played well, they've made the plays in crunch time," McVay said. "I think the ultimate thing that's really important for us is each game is its own separate entity. ... But we know that this game is going to be different than the other ones. We've got to be able to show up, and play well in that three-hour window. That's what our focus and concentration will be solely focused on. No different than when we had to play them for the third time last year." JIMMY BOUNCEBACK Garoppolo's first start after Trey Lance went down with a season-ending ankle injury for San Francisco turned out to be a dud. Instead of building off a promising relief appearance in Week 2, Garoppolo looked rusty after no offseason work and showed the flaws that led the Niners to make the big move to acquire Lance last season. He missed on a few chances at big plays in the first half, then turned it over twice in the second half, as well as stepping out of the end zone for a safety in the 11-10 loss to Denver. |

10-02-22 | Bills v. Ravens +3.5 | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 25 h 43 m | Show |
The Ravens lost their first home game versus the Bills (13-10 on Halloween in 1999) but they're 5-0 against them in Baltimore since then, holding Buffalo to seven or fewer points four times, including the most recent game, a 47-3 Ravens win in the 2018 season opener.

10-01-22 | Wake Forest v. Florida State OVER 67 | Top | 31-21 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 56 m | Show |
Off to its best start since 2015 -- and ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time in more than four years -- No. 23 Florida State will aim to keep its hot streak going Saturday when the Seminoles host No. 22 Wake Forest in Tallahassee, Fla. The Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 ACC) are undefeated and ranked after thrashing Boston College 44-14 at home last Saturday. Meanwhile, the Demon Deacons (3-1, 0-1 ACC) are coming off their first defeat of the season, a 51-45 overtime loss to No. 5 Clemson. Although FSU canceled classes Tuesday through Friday in preparation for the possible effects of Hurricane Ian, the game remained on schedule for 3:30 p.m. EST at FSU's Doak Campbell Stadium. Florida already has moved its game against Eastern Washington to Sunday, while USF moved its game against East Carolina across the state to Boca Raton. Tallahassee is farther north and west than those campuses, leading FSU athletic director Michael Alford to say Monday, "Nothing has changed right now," while the school reminded fans to check social media for updates. |

09-30-22 | Tulane v. Houston -2.5 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 1 m | Show |
Houston tries to weed out problems in meeting with Tulane Houston head coach Dana Holgorsen is looking for an all-around improvement from his Cougars, and not all of it has to do with them splitting the first four games of the season. After starting the campaign ranked No. 24, the season started on a high note for Houston, after beating UTSA 37-35 in three overtimes. But now, it there may be tension within the program. The Cougars (2-2) will look to sort out some of those problems when they host American Athletic Conference foe Tulane (3-1) Friday night in the conference opener. In his fourth year at Houston's helm, Holgorsen has become frustrated with his squad. |
|||||||
09-26-22 | Cowboys v. Giants | Top | 23-16 | Loss | -125 | 14 h 36 m | Show |
The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are going to renew their NFC East rivalry on Monday night, -and this one might be an indication of whether the times are changing. The Cowboys, the defending division champions, have owned the Giants the last five years. The teams have played 10 times and Dallas has won nine. This season has gotten off to an interesting start, though. Dallas has split two games and saw quarterback Dak Prescott undergo thumb surgery after the season opener. How long the star quarterback will be sidelined is uncertain, but Cooper Rush will be running the offense against the surprising Giants. New York, which won four games last year, is halfway to that total after knocking off Tennessee and Carolina in Brian Daboll's first two games as coach. Beating Dallas in a nationally televised game would be another step toward respectability after five straight losing seasons. |

09-25-22 | 49ers v. Broncos +2 | Top | 10-11 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
The only difference the San Francisco 49ers see in longtime nemesis Russell Wilson isn't in his game but his gear. "It's so weird seeing him in a new uniform," linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair said. "But he's the same exact guy." Kyle Shanahan thinks so, too. "I see the same stuff I've seen going against him in Seattle for the last 10 years. (It's just that) they've just come up short on a couple of touchdowns there," said San Francisco's coach, who brings a 2-8 record against Wilson into Sunday night's showdown between the 49ers (1-1) and Broncos (1-1). Shanahan pointed to Wilson's 35-yard fourth-quarter dart to Courtland Sutton on third-and-16 last week as evidence the 33-year-old QB still has it. |

09-25-22 | Jaguars +3.5 v. Chargers | Top | 38-10 | Win | 100 | 5 h 27 m | Show |
There's plenty to like about a matchup between quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert. Not only are they at the top of the list for the league's best hair, but both are the leaders of their respective franchises. The biggest question, though, going into Sunday's matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers is if they will face each other for the first time. Herbert is listed as questionable after not practicing Friday and being limited Wednesday and Thursday due to fractured rib cartilage. The injury happened after he took a hit from Kansas City's Michael Danna during the fourth quarter of last Thursday's 27-24 loss to the Chiefs. After not making any passes Wednesday, Herbert took his normal amount of throws Thursday during the individual session of practice open to reporters. If he plays, Herbert will wear a rib protector, but could also receive an injection to deal with the pain. Herbert's status will likely not be fully resolved until Sunday morning. |

09-24-22 | Stanford v. Washington OVER 62 | Top | 22-40 | Push | 0 | 11 h 36 m | Show |
A feeling of excitement not felt for some time in Seattle is building for the Washington Huskies football program, which debuted in the 2022 NCAA Top 25 rankings at No. 18 this week following a 39-28 win over last week's No. 11, Michigan State. This Saturday, the Huskies (3-0) look to keep winning with the start of their Pac-12 season, hosting Stanford at Husky Stadium in a night game. Two years ago, Washington couldn't play for the Pac-12 championship because its roster was ravaged by COVID cases. Last season, the team finished 4-8 overall and head coach Jimmy Lake was fired in November over an incident involving a player on the team. But this season looks different. Washington has 136 points scored in its first three games, even though the first two were at home against Kent State and FCS Portland State. |

09-24-22 | Central Michigan v. Penn State -28 | Top | 14-33 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 34 m | Show |
After an eye-opening performance on the road, the big question for No. 14 Penn State is how much of an emotional letdown there may be. The Nittany Lions (3-0, 1-0 Big Ten) turned in one of the most impressive performances of the young season last week with a 41-12 road win at SEC foe Auburn, but now must refocus for a game against a Group of Five opponent when Central Michigan visits University Park, Pa., for a noon kickoff on Saturday. Of all the things that stood out for Penn State in the win at Auburn, maybe the most noticeable was the way the Nittany Lions ran the ball. Penn State struggled with its offensive line play and running game last year, but completely controlled Auburn's defensive line, rushing for 245 yards on 6.3 per carry. True freshman Nicholas Singleton was the biggest beneficiary of Penn State's improved line play, rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Freshman Kaytron Allen, sophomore Keyvone Lee and junior Devyn Ford have flanked Singleton in what is a deep group of running backs for Penn State. "We're getting better up front and at tight end," Penn State head coach James Franklin said after the game. "We're doing some things speed-wise to help them. The ability to be more balanced and take pressure off the passing game, I think it's been really important for us. We also have some dynamic backs that help create some explosive plays." Penn State's offense has averaged more than 40 points a game to start the season. |

09-23-22 | Boise State v. UTEP UNDER 44.5 | Top | 10-27 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
UTEP can’t run the ball. Worse yet, it can’t get the chains moving. The two tie together – it can’t run, so it sets up more difficult third down chances, and the lack of a steady passing game then shows up. Oddly enough, the best passing day so far completion-wise was against Oklahoma, but that was the only time in the four games the Miners managed to hit more than 45% of their throws. Boise State’s defense is outstanding on third downs, and it’s been dominant against the run over the last few games. It gave up 25 yards to New Mexico, and 26 to UT Martin. |
|||||||
09-22-22 | Steelers v. Browns -4 | Top | 17-29 | Win | 100 | 6 h 48 m | Show |
For the first time since 2004, Ben Roethlisberger isn't part of the Steelers-Browns rivalry, a matchup the Ohio-born-and-bred quarterback dominated for 18 seasons and will now watch with everyone else. On Thursday night, Mitch Trubisky makes his debut in one of the NFL's fiercest feuds. A second appearance isn't guaranteed. Struggling to connect with Pittsburgh's receivers, Trubisky, chosen as the starter in training camp over rookie quarterback-in-waiting Kenny Pickens, may look to take some deep shots downfield when the Steelers (1-1) visit a Browns team still reeling from an epic collapse in their home opener on Sunday. Trubisky is ranked 32nd in yards per attempt, one of several troubling stats for him after just two games and perhaps a reflection on the 28-year-old being more of a game manager than game changer. Still, Trubisky, who grew up in Northeast Ohio but was never particularly keen on the Browns (1-1), is confident he'll soon begin hooking up with Pittsburgh's talented, but to this point underused, receivers. |

09-22-22 | West Virginia -2.5 v. Virginia Tech | Top | 33-10 | Win | 100 | 5 h 11 m | Show |
West Virginia (1-2) ignited its offense by scoring on all 10 of its possessions (nine touchdowns, one field goal) in a 65-7 romp over FCS foe Towson on Saturday. Freshman CJ Donaldson found the end zone on three occasions during the first half, including an 82-yard scamper down the sideline. He has rushed for 274 yards and six touchdowns in three games this season. Fellow running back Tony Mathis Jr. scored two first-half touchdowns on Saturday before finishing with 104 yards on 17 carries. |

09-18-22 | Bears +11 v. Packers | Top | 10-27 | Loss | -128 | 7 h 46 m | Show |
After spending the last three seasons looking up at the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North standings, the Chicago Bears head into Lambeau Field in an unusual position. The Bears (1-0) lead the Packers (0-1) in the division race for the first time since 2018, when Chicago last earned the NFC North title. The Packers have won the NFC North every year since and are 6-0 against the Bears during that stretch. Chicago would love to take a two-game edge over the three-time defending division champions by winning Sunday night. Even with the Bears coming off a win and the Packers coming off a loss, Green Bay is a 9 1/2-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. |
|||||||
09-18-22 | Texans +10 v. Broncos | Top | 9-16 | Win | 100 | 3 h 1 m | Show |
Texans coach Lovie Smith had some rather recent game film to review as he developed his defensive game plan for Sunday - Wilson led the Seahawks to a 33-13 win at Houston last December. "Experience of being in that situation, of seeing him on the other side, game planning for him, it doesn't matter where you are, the person doesn't change a lot," Smith said. "Maybe some of the calls have. I see a similar offensive attack when we played the Seahawks last year. Nowadays, quarterbacks have a big say in what teams do, especially guys that have been around the game for a while." Wilson didn't have much of a say in how things ended Monday night in Seattle, and he vowed to speak up next time Hackett considers taking the ball out of his hands in a game-defining moment. "(I) always trust his decisions and everything else, but I'm also always ready to go try to do it if we need to," Wilson said. Either way, the Broncos insist they've moved on. The Broncos will be without Justin Simmons for the first time since 2017 after the star safety injured a thigh in the opener. Second-year pro-Caden Sterns replaces the ironman who has started 66 consecutive games. The Texans got big contributions from two new faces in Week 1. D-lineman Jerry Hughes, who spent the last nine seasons in Buffalo, had two sacks, an interception and a forced fumble in a 20-20 tie with Indianapolis. O.J. Howard, who signed Sept. 2 after his release by the Bills, became the third tight end in NFL history to catch a pair of TD passes in his first game with his new team. |

09-17-22 | Fresno State v. USC -10.5 | Top | 17-45 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
Seventh-ranked USC returns home to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday for a nonconference game against Mountain West Conference favorite Fresno State. The Trojans (2-0) continued to dazzle offensively early into first-year head coach Lincoln Riley's tenure last week at Stanford -- at least, in the first half. USC scored five first-half touchdowns of the Pac-12 Conference opener but managed a pair of field goals in the second half against the Cardinal. It marked the second time in as many games that the Trojans did not have to punt until the fourth quarter of a blowout win. Quarterback Caleb Williams went 20-for-27 for 341 yards with four more touchdown passes, giving him six for the season to go with the team's five rushing touchdowns and three field goals. His performance earned Davey O'Brien National Quarterback of the Week. Jordan Addison has four of those touchdown receptions among his 12 catches for an average of 113.0 yards a game. The Trojans offense cooled off, however, and Stanford pushed around the USC defense for 221 yards on a 441-yard day of total offense. Yet, the SC defense stiffened in the red zone, forcing two turnovers inside the 3-yard line. |

09-15-22 | Chargers +4 v. Chiefs | Top | 24-27 | Win | 100 | 5 h 48 m | Show |
The Kansas City Chiefs have taken on an almost unbeatable air in the AFC West over the past six years, not only winning the division each time but losing just six games total against some of their longest-standing rivals. Except when it comes to the Los Angeles Chargers. They've showed no fear in splitting their past four meetings with Kansas City, including a win in Arrowhead Stadium last season. And after making a series of offseason moves - like signing Khalil Mack, who had three of their five sacks in their opener against the Raiders - designed to deal with Patrick Mahomes and rest of the Chiefs' dynamic offense, the Chargers have every reason to be confident about facing the Chiefs again on Thursday night. |
|||||||
09-03-22 | Tulsa v. Wyoming UNDER 46 | Top | 37-40 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 28 m | Show |
The under is 6-1 in Tulsa's last 7 games against the Mountain West Conference and 8-2-1 in their last 11 September games. |
|||||||
01-23-22 | Rams v. Bucs -2.5 | Top | 30-27 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 40 m | Show |
Tampa Bay has speed at every level of the defense and Stafford will have to ensure he doesn't let his guard down as Tampa Bay's quickness can ignite turnovers in a hurry. There are still questions about the health of left tackle Andrew Withworth’s ankle, so the play-action passes will likely be a vital part of the gameplan for Stafford's passing attack. |
|||||||
10-23-21 | Temple v. South Florida UNDER 55 | Top | 14-34 | Win | 100 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
Don’t get caught up in the 52-3 loss to Cincinnati – that’s just the way the American Athletic Conference rolls this year. Temple was able to get by Memphis in a key win thanks to a decent passing attack and just enough balance to get by. Oh there are issues, but the pass defense hasn’t been all that bad – at least until the last two games – there isn’t a turnover problem, and the team is rested after getting two weeks off. Now it gets a USF team that just can’t get this thing going. The Bulls struggle to get to 300 yards offensively |
|||||||
10-23-21 | East Carolina v. Houston UNDER 57 | Top | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 5 h 28 m | Show |
The Pirates have the parts to get into fun shootouts, but they’re not consistent enough. When the O rolls, they win. When it doesn’t, they lose, and by roll that means crank up 388 yards or more. Get there, and they’re 3-0. Don’t, and they’re 0-4. The other side of the ball hasn’t been bad. This is one of the better East Carolina defenses in a while, with the ability to get behind the line and the aggressiveness to come up with enough takeaways to matter |
|||||||
10-21-21 | Tulane v. SMU UNDER 71 | Top | 26-55 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 7 m | Show |
SMU is 47th in the nation in points allowed with an average of 22.2 per game. The Mustangs are allowing an average of 390.7 yards per game including 138.8 yards rushing and 251.8 yards per game passing. Opponents are averaging 3.8 yards per carry and 5.7 yards per play against the SMU defense. The Mustangs defense is led by linebacker Shaine Hailey, who has a team-best 37 tackles. The leader in quarterback sacks with 4.0 is defensive end Gary Wiley and the leader in interceptions with 2 is safety Isaiah Nwokobia. |
|||||||
10-16-21 | Utah State v. UNLV UNDER 64 | Top | 28-24 | Win | 100 | 15 h 38 m | Show |
UNLV is getting more out of the passing game, and it’s been more competitive over the last few games, but there isn’t enough of a rushing attack, the pass rush is mediocre, the ability to come back isn’t there. |
|||||||
10-16-21 | Tulsa v. South Florida UNDER 56.5 | Top | 32-31 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
A shootout is expected in this one but the total on this one is a little higher than I anticipated. I think the oddsmakers have given us enough cushion to easily cash this ticket. |
|||||||
10-10-21 | Bills v. Chiefs UNDER 56.5 | Top | 38-20 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
The Chiefs blitzed Allen 18 times in the AFC title game last year and recorded 13 pressures, 6 QB hits, and 4 sacks. Kansas City’s defensive backs played physical against the Bills receivers and the newest addition at the receiver spot. I expect that approach in this one. |
|||||||
10-10-21 | Giants v. Cowboys UNDER 53 | Top | 20-44 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 25 m | Show |
10 of the Giants last 12 games have cashed under tickets along with 8 of 10 as a dog. Four of the Cowboys last five games have gone under the total as a favorite. |
|||||||
10-10-21 | Bears v. Raiders UNDER 46 | Top | 20-9 | Win | 100 | 2 h 14 m | Show |
The defensive line has been a really bright spot for Las Vegas. Maxx Crosby leads the NFL in pressures and Yannick Ngakoue has been exactly what they’ve hoped for when they signed him early this offseason. Keep an eye on Darius Philon, who recorded two sacks last week against the Chargers. He gives them another disruptive interior rusher. |
|||||||
10-09-21 | New Mexico +19.5 v. San Diego State | Top | 7-31 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 56 m | Show |
So what went right in the 30-3 loss to UTEP? Not much, but the defense was able to clamp down a bit in the second half, LB Trevor Brohard turned in a nice day, and … That was about it. However, the Aggies got in a few games of work in the spring and have a date under its belt before dealing with San Diego State in a strange off-campus location while the new Aztec Stadium is being built. This remains a San Diego State team that might have to find a consistently dangerous offense, it’s not going to be in familiar surroundings |
|||||||
10-09-21 | Utah +3 v. USC | Top | 42-26 | Win | 100 | 11 h 20 m | Show |
It’s been a rough, rough run for the Utes – more on that in a moment – but football-wise, the team has been off for a few weeks after a desperately needed 24-13 win over Washington State. The running game started to kick it all in against the Cougars with a season-high 219 yards. This week it has to pound and pound some more against a USC defensive front that’s been fine against the mediocre but failed against the Oregon State ground attack. It’s a horribly inconsistent Trojan team – which you might expect considering the early season coaching change – with way too many penalties, not enough defensive plays behind the line, and too many turnovers. The three against Washington State made it tough early, and the four against Oregon State were devastating. Utah is 2-0 when it comes up with multiple takeaways, and 0-2 when it doesn’t |
|||||||
10-09-21 | East Carolina v. Central Florida -10 | Top | 16-20 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
The UCF offense might not be the high-powered fun show it’s supposed to be, but it still has the running game to control things against the struggling ECU defensive front. Being back at home should matter. This is a much different team in the Bounce House, Keene and the offense should be a wee bit sharper after getting a game out of the way with Gabriel out, and the offensive balance should be there to take control of the game. |
|||||||
10-09-21 | Virginia +2.5 v. Louisville | Top | 34-33 | Win | 100 | 6 h 26 m | Show |
The Louisville pass defense isn’t a total disaster, but it’s the worst in the ACC. To be fair, playing Ole Miss, UCF, and Wake Forest had something to do with that, but Florida State was able to throw for 248 yards, too. Welcome to Virginia. This isn’t the slow-and-stodgy Cavalier team we’re all used to. QB Brennan Armstrong and the passing game are bombing away with close to 2,000 yards in the first five games and now it’s time to crank up. Louisville isn’t doing enough against the run, either – the overall D is the worst in the ACC – and the Cavs proved in the win over Miami that it could be a bit balanced, too. |
|||||||
10-08-21 | Charlotte v. Florida International +3.5 | Top | 45-33 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 30 m | Show |
The passing game has perked up. It was fine over the first part of the season, and despite the losses over the last two weeks on the road, the offense cranked up close to 400 yards through the air against Central Michigan and 319 in last week’s loss to Florida Atlantic. Former Maryland starter Max Bortenschlager has settled in, and the 1-2 receiving punch of Tyrese Chambers and Bryce Singleton are making big play after big play. |
|||||||
10-07-21 | Rams v. Seahawks UNDER 55 | Top | 26-17 | Win | 100 | 17 h 46 m | Show |
Neither one of these teams has played well defensively this season, and naturally, the bookmakers jack up the number and we're going to take advantage of their mistake. We only need one of these teams to find their defense. |
|||||||
10-04-21 | Raiders v. Chargers UNDER 51.5 | Top | 14-28 | Win | 100 | 17 h 57 m | Show |
What's better than having one player ranked top-five in QB pressures? Two. Edge rushers Maxx Crosby, who continues to flourish in Year 3, and Yannick Ngakoue have gotten off to a hot start as the leaders of a respectable pass rush. Veterans Carl Nassib and Solomon Thomas are also making their presence felt with a combined seven pressures and four sacks. As a unit, the Raiders rank second in the NFL with a QB pressure rate of 38.9, according to Next Gen Stats. The secondary, which has allowed just two receiving TDs, has complemented the front four well with its stingy play, a clear sign that Las Vegas is steadily improving under new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley. |
|||||||
10-03-21 | Bucs v. Patriots UNDER 49.5 | Top | 19-17 | Win | 100 | 5 h 26 m | Show |
New England has done a good job defensively, giving up 17 points per game but it's the Buc's numbers that are deceptive in many ways. The Bucs have been getting to the quarterback which has helped them to the third-most interceptions in the league. Most think this is going to be a shootout but I think we'll sneak under the total. |
|||||||
10-03-21 | Ravens v. Broncos -1 | Top | 23-7 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 45 m | Show |
The Ravens offense has led the way this season but the defense has struggled, allowing 28.3 runs per game and 331.7 passing yards per game. Linebacker Patrick Queen has been the force in the middle of the defense with 23 tackles and a sack while Chuck Clark, Marlon Humphrey, and Anthony Avrett have been leading the secondary combining for eight passes defended and 49 tackles but the rest of the defense has struggled. The front of the Ravens defense is failing to pressure opposing quarterbacks aside from Odafe Oweh who has a sack and four QB hits while the secondary is still trying to replace all-pro corner Marcus Peters, who is out for the season with an injury. |
|||||||
10-03-21 | Cardinals +4 v. Rams | Top | 37-20 | Win | 100 | 2 h 35 m | Show |
This has the feel of a competitive game where the Rams win, but Arizona covers. The Cardinals have lost by double digits in seven of the last eight meetings. This game could illustrate how far they’ve come, but how they aren’t quite there yet. That seems to be what the respected bettors believe based on the line movement. |
|||||||
10-02-21 | Baylor +4.5 v. Oklahoma State | Top | 14-24 | Loss | -114 | 11 h 8 m | Show |
There’s the Baylor win we were all waiting for in the Dave Aranda era. 2020 was supposed to be a total rebuild, and beating Texas State, Texas Southern, and Kansas was no big deal to start 2021. Baylor 31, Iowa State 29, and now the program is 4-0 with a chance to make an even bigger splash. The offense might not have rolled against the Cyclones, but the D held firm and the O made the most of every opportunity. Forget the overall stats – again, look at Baylor’s first three games – but the passing game really is efficient enough to at least keep the chains moving. |
|||||||
10-02-21 | Texas Tech +7 v. West Virginia | Top | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 8 h 31 m | Show |
The passing game still works. The Red Raider offense lost QB Tyler Shough to a collarbone injury in the loss to Texas, but Henry Colombi is a veteran who can run a big and threw for 324 yards and three scores with big play after big play. Yeah, it was a 70-35 loss and the Longhorns started to take it easy, but Texas Tech still managed over 500 yards for the second straight week. Last week’s game was rough, but the Red Raiders have a veteran defense that’s far better than it plays, allowing fewer than 300 yards in two of the three games before the debacle in Austin. West Virginia doesn’t have the passing game to keep up in a game like this if Colombi and company get hot early. |
|||||||
10-02-21 | Bowling Green v. Kent State -16 | Top | 20-27 | Loss | -118 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
The Kent State team continues to play with confidence. After the corner turned late last year, all of a sudden, it was as if the light went on. The offense started to click, the FlashFast style made sense, and it all started to roll. Against Eastern Michigan – a 27-23 win – the offense was almost perfectly balanced with 219 passing yards and 212 on the ground, and now it gets to go against a Bowling Green defense that got destroyed by Toledo for over 300 rushing yards and 200 through the air. |
|||||||
10-02-21 | Eastern Michigan v. Northern Illinois | Top | 20-27 | Win | 100 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Why are the Huskies 2-2? They’re getting great play from the offensive front. They’re not allowing sacks, they’re pounding away for a ground game that hit the 160-yard mark in every game and averages 216 yards per outing. The Eastern Michigan defensive front couldn’t hold up against Wisconsin, but it gave up over 200 yards against UMass, too. The Huskies should be able to run enough to throw the Eagles off of their game. |
|||||||
10-01-21 | BYU v. Utah State +9.5 | Top | 34-20 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 42 m | Show |
Utah State might have screwed up a bit too much – and it only scored three points – but the offensive punch was there. The Aggies remained almost perfectly balanced – they’re a 200-yard rushing/200-yard passing machine – with the 443 yards put up against the Broncos just fine. They just couldn’t translate the effort into points. |
|||||||
10-01-21 | Houston v. Tulsa -3 | Top | 45-10 | Loss | -120 | 5 h 22 m | Show |
The Golden Hurricane got stuffed by Ohio State, but the 308 yards against Arkansas State helped control the game in a 41-34 win. Yes, the Houston pass defense has been statically great, but it’s about to deal with Davis Brin, who’s averaging over 300 yards per game with five scoring passes in the last two games. Houston might have a steady O over the last few games against inferior competition, but will the downfield passing game be there? The O line is having problems keeping defenses out of the backfield and the attack has yet to prove it can blow up. |
|||||||
09-30-21 | Jaguars v. Bengals UNDER 46.5 | Top | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 15 h 29 m | Show |
For Lawrence, progress at this point means posting a zero in the turnover column. Through three games, he’s already thrown more interceptions (seven) than he did all of last season at Clemson (five). The offense has been more or less on the rookie’s shoulders without much help around him, so it’s much too soon to assess Lawrence’s potential. His gunslinger mentality needs more dynamic receiving targets to pay dividends; for now, he could help his cause by better-recognizing when to settle for checkdowns and throwaways. And offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell’s increasing reliance on running back James Robinson can help, too |
|||||||
09-30-21 | Virginia +6 v. Miami-FL | Top | 30-28 | Win | 100 | 15 h 47 m | Show |
The Hurricanes (2-2) open their ACC schedule Thursday night against Virginia (2-2), and will be facing the national leader in passing yards per game so far this season. The Cavaliers’ Brennan Armstrong is averaging 426 yards per game, and though it’s early, only seven quarterbacks in FBS history have ever finished a season averaging more. Miami’s starter remains a murky proposition. D’Eriq King’s shoulder injury is improving, but the Hurricanes still are expected to start either Tyler Van Dyke or Jake Garcia |
