Texas at Oakland 9:40 ET Athletics over Rangers- Texas' Martin Perez (3-2, 1.84 ERA) has been exceptional in his last six starts highlighted with his first career complete game shutout of Houston last time out. Oakland's mainstay Frankie Montas (2-4, 3.55) has been better but doesn't deserve what he has been handed as his mates have scored one run in four of his last five starts. L.A. Angels at Texas 8:05 ET Rangers over Angels- If Johnny Vander Meer were alive today he wouldn't be too worried about left-hander Reid Detmers (2-1, 3.77 ERA) breaking his unbeatable record of consecutive complete game no-hitters. Detmers threw a no-no last time out a nine inning stint that lowered his ERA to 3.77 as he had previously surrendered 13 runs in 19 innings of work. This won't be the first time Detmers faces the Rangers this season. In his first meeting, a no-decision on April 15, he was tagged for five earned runs on six hits in 3 1/3 innings. Take TEXAS! |

Miami at Arizona 9:40 ET Marlins over Diamondbacks- The last time Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner (1-1, 1.50 ERA) last took the moundhe was ejected after one inning when he was checked for a foreign substance. Arizona has produced 10 victories in its past 13 games, while Miami has dropped eight of its past nine. The Diamondbacks have won each of their first four meetings against Miami this season by one run, including a 4-3 victory on Monday. Bumgarner, 32, owns a 3-4 record and 3.86 ERA in 13 career starts against Miami. The Marlins will counter with promising left-hander Jesus Luzardo (2-2, 3.08), who allowed two runs on three hits over six-plus innings in a 2-1 loss to the San Diego Padres on Thursday. Take MIAMI! |
05-09-22 | A's v. Tigers -113 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -113 | 8 h 32 m | Show |
Oakland at Detroit 7:10 ET Tigers over A's- The Tigers were supposed to be 'new' and 'refreshed' this season with higher expectations but they currently have the worst record in the AL as they were just swept four games in Houston and have lost six in-a-row. Oakland not be be out done has dropped nine straight as they just don't hit. The A's have only two of 12 position players hitting above .225 and after continuous season of quality players leaving the franchise it has taken its toll. Michael Pineda (1-1, 3.77 ERA) will make his fourth start of the season for Detroit. He's 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA in seven career starts against Oakland. Take the TIGERS! |
05-07-22 | Marlins +108 v. Padres | Top | 8-0 | Win | 108 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
Miami at San Diego 8:40 ET Marlins over Padres- Miami dropped their sixth straight last night as they have struggled getting the hit they have needed losing four of the six by one run. Pablo Lopez (3-1, 1.29) has been the Marlins best the past three seasons and is looking to post a win after getting tagged wit a loss against Arizona the first runs he surrendered in four starts. San Diego's Sean Manaea (2-2, 3.60) came over from Oakland and pitched seven no-hit innings in his debut but has struggled of late surrendering 10 runs in his last 11 innings, take MIAMI! |
05-06-22 | Brewers -103 v. Braves | Top | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Atlanta 7:20 ET Brewers over Braves- These Two clubs met in the NL Division Series last season with Atlanta losing the first game and then winning three straight and eventually won the World Series. Milwaukee scored just six runs in the entire series and were shutout twice. Scoring runs doesn't seem like an issue now as the Brewers belted six home runs yesterday and is 8-1 in their last nine and 17-5 the best record in MLB during this span. Lefty Eric Lauer (2-0, 1.93 ERA) takes the hill for the Brew Crew and he has had back-to-back starts with double-digit strikeouts. The Braves have scored three runs or fewer 15 times already this season and lead the Big League's in strikeouts with 250. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-05-22 | Mets v. Phillies -145 | Top | 8-7 | Loss | -145 | 15 h 24 m | Show |
New York Mets at Philadelphia 6:45 ET Phillies over Mets- I tried this last Friday (betting Philly and Nola against the Mets) and Aaron Nola (1-3, 3.90 ERA) struck out nine but New York used five different pitchers and no-hit Philadelphia. The Mets are 3-3 since and will start Taijuan Walker (0-0.0.00) who has allow just two hits in seven inning work. I expect the Mets to control the East but this is a spot the Phillies look to atone for their hitless performance last Friday. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
05-04-22 | Yankees -135 v. Blue Jays | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -135 | 18 h 41 m | Show |
New York Yankees at Toronto 7:05 ET Yankees over Blue Jays- One of the most profitable way of betting baseball is to play streaks both winning and losing on and against. Right now I don't think it matter who the Yankees are playing the believe that they will win and they have 11 straight times. I'm sure there will be plenty of Toronto action not believing the could be swept at home. New York will start Nestor Cortes (1-0, 1.31 ERA) who is the Bronx Bombers modern version of Whitey Ford as he has 28 K's and just three base-on-balls in 21 innings. Take NEW YORK YANKEES! |
05-03-22 | Giants +125 v. Dodgers | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
San Francisco at Los Angeles 10:10ET Giants over Dodgers- Do you remember that the Giants won 107 games last season and the Dodgers 106 and both team are actually better (on paper) this season and one of the bigger acquisitions was made by San Francisco. Coming over from the White Sox where he was 13-5 with a 2.37 ERA last season Carlos Rodon is 3-0 with a 1.17 ERA in four starts and has 38 K's in just 23 innings. Julio Urias, who will take the mound for the Dodgers allowed one run over six innings at Arizona on Wednesday. Urias (1-1, 2.50) has faced the Giants 20 times (14 starts) and is 2-3 with a 2.61 ERA. In what started as baseball's most intense rivalry in New York over 100 years ago still carries a fierce attitude when against each other. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
05-02-22 | Braves +103 v. Mets | Top | 5-2 | Win | 103 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
Atlanta at New York Mets 7:10 ET Braves over Mets- There appears to be a 'new order' in the NL East as the Mets have taken the lead and look like the team to beat. The new-look Braves -- with Matt Olson manning first base instead of stalwart Freddie Freeman, who hit .293 with nine homers and 50 RBIs in 99 games at Citi Field -- will meet the Mets fresh off an opening month in which New York showed it is a much different team than a year ago.Left-hander Max Fried (2-2, 3.00 ERA) is scheduled to start for Atlanta against New York right-hander Chris Bassitt (3-1, 2.25 ERA). Both Fried and Bassitt earned the wins in their most recent starts on Tuesday, when Fried allowed one run over six innings as the Braves beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1 and Bassitt tossed six scoreless innings in the Mets' 3-0 victory over the Cardinals. Fried is 4-3 with a 2.78 ERA in 16 career games (11 starts) against the Mets. Bassitt has never faced the Braves. Take ATLANTA! |
05-01-22 | Angels v. White Sox +105 | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 15 m | Show |
L.A. Angels at Chicago White Sox 2:10 ET White Sox over Angels- Chicago who is the heavy favorite to win the AL Central posted a 4-0 win over the Angels yesterday and still have dropped 10 of their last 12 games. The White Sox will throw left-hander Dallas Keuchel (1-2, 9.00 ERA) against Angels right-hander Michael Lorenzen (2-1, 2.93) on Sunday. Keuchel's ERA has soared after surrendering 10 runs in one inning against Cleveland two starts ago but rebounded his next time out. Take the WHITE SOX! |
04-30-22 | Braves v. Rangers +103 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 103 | 17 h 17 m | Show |
Atlanta at Texas 7:05 ET Rangers over Braves- Texas has lost four straight and it is all due to the lack of run production scoring just nine times in their last four games and their pitching hasn't been much help ranking No. 26 allowing 4.96 RPG. Atlanta will start Bryce Elder (1-2, 4.30 ERA) who has surrendered 11 walks in his last two starts and will be opposed by Dane Dunning (0-1, 4.91) who has 15 strikeouts in his last 10 innings of work. The Braves are 0-4 in the last four meetings in Texas and the Rangers are 5-1 in their last six games as home underdogs. Take TEXAS! |
04-29-22 | Phillies +112 v. Mets | Top | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 4 m | Show |
Philadelphia at New York Mets 7:10 ET Phillies over Mets- It seems a bit strange to me that the New York Mets with the best record in baseball (14-6) with their best pitcher this season to date on the mound against a .500 team are a virtual pick-em at home. Tylor Megill (3-0, 2.35 ERA) has allowed just 13 hits in 16.1 innings while striking out 15 and walking only two. Philadelphia behind hot hitting Bryce Harper and has won their last four sweeping Colorado at home. The Phillies Aaron Nola (1-2, 3.74) is off his best outing of the season allowing just one hit in seven innings against the Brewers and has allowed only 14 hits in 22 innings this season. The Whiz-Kids are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings...take PHILADELPHIA! |
04-26-22 | Astros v. Rangers -101 | Top | 5-1 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
Houston at Texas 8:05 ET Rangers over Astros- Both of these Texas clubs have gone through some off-season changes as they made major player personnel moves revolving around their shortstops. The Rangers signed Corey Seager to play the keystone position in Arlington while Houston has suffered the unfortunate loss of Carlos Correa in Free Agency to Minnesota. The changes have hurt the Astros who are 7-8 while Texas hasn't been able to take advantage of their new infield combination (Semien) and are just 5-10 on the season. The Astros have dropped five of their last six and will start Jake Odorizzi (0-2, 9.00 ERA) who has more walks (seven) than strikeouts (five) and his mound opponent will be Taylor Hearn (0-1, 7.59) who is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA in seven career appearances against Houston. Take TEXAS! |
04-25-22 | Red Sox +115 v. Blue Jays | Top | 2-6 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 36 m | Show |
Boston at Toronto 7:00 ET Red Sox over Blue Jays- These two met at Fenway Park for a 3-game set last week with the Blue Jays capturing 2-of-3 and they finished 4-2 on their six game road trip. Boston will start right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (1-0. 3.68 ERA) in the opener against right-hander Jose Berrios (1-0, 6.35). Eovaldi allowed one run in 4 2/3 innings Tuesday against Toronto and did not factor in the decision. He gave up seven hits and one walk while striking out six in the game won 2-1 by Boston. In 10 career games (nine starts), Eovaldi is 1-2 with a 4.33 ERA against Toronto. Eovaldi has not allowed more than two walks in 22 straight regular-season starts to match his career best. Berrios earned the win on Wednesday at Boston when he allowed one run, eight hits and one walk while striking out six in six innings. Toronto won 6-1. In eight career starts against Boston, he is 1-5 with a 4.05 ERA. Take BOSTON! |
04-24-22 | Rangers -110 v. A's | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 37 m | Show |
Texas at Oakland 4:10 ET Rangers over A's- The Rangers have a 'new' look with the keystone infielders shortstop Corey Seager and 2nd baseman as Marcus Semien have come to Texas via free agency and after a poor start have won their last three. Garrett Richards will start for the Lone Star boys as the Rangers are looking toward a 'bullpen' game while the A's will start Cole Irvin (1-1, 4.32 ERA) who was 2-2 with a 4.03 ERA against Texas last season. Rangers have won the last four meetings and Oakland 1-5 in their last six games overall. Take TEXAS! |
04-23-22 | Cardinals v. Reds -105 | Top | 5-0 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 26 m | Show |
St. Louis at Cincinnati 4:10 ET Reds over Cardinals- Every year there is a team that just can't win and the public plays 'against' them all season and can show a tidy profit, but me, nah, that's too easy and usually you have to lay heavy wood. Cincinnati appears to be that team and sometimes not all that often they become a 'play' despite the past performances. The Reds have two wins in 13 games and one of those victories went to Tyler Mahle (1-1, 7.82 ERA)and he has had two straight poor outings and after going 13-6 with a 3.75 ERA in 2021 I expect a return to form. Take CINCINNATI! |
04-22-22 | White Sox v. Twins -102 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
Chicago White Sox at Minnesota 8:10 ET Twins over White Sox- Chicago is supposed walk over the AL Central this season but are in the middle of a 4-game losing streak while Minnesota who was a complete disaster last year just finished a seven game road trip and have a more positive attitude this season. The Twins will start Bailey Ober (1-1, 3.27 ERA) and he is off his first win of the year allowing just unearned two runs. The White Sox hold a 14-6 edge in the last 20 meetings but that trend changes today. Take MINNESOTA! |
04-21-22 | Twins -124 v. Royals | Top | 1-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 34 m | Show |
Minnesota at Kansas City 2:10 ET Twins over Royals- It seems a bit weird to me that the former Cy Young and World Series winner who has 219 career wins over 16 years is an underdog at home. Kansas City's Zack Greinke (0-0, 2.45 ERA) has been more than serviceable going 11 innings in two starts while allowing just three runs and a pair of walks. Twins starter Joe Ryan (1-1, 2.70) who has surrendered just seven hits in 10 innings and just three runs with 11 strikeouts. The Twin City guys are 4-1 on the road and their new look seems to be working. Take MINNESOTA! |
04-20-22 | Rays -107 v. Cubs | Top | 8-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 52 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Chicago Cubs 7:40 ET Rays over Cubs- Tampa Bay needs a win here to finish their road trip 3-3 and have spent the past six days playing in Chicago and have not had a day off since their opener April 8th. The Rays will start Drew Rasmussen (0-1, 5.00 ERA) and he will be up against the Cubs Marcus Stroman (0-1, 6.00) who has struggled against the Rays going 5-7 with a 4.57 in 15 appearances against Tampa. The Rays are 7-1 in their last eight inter-league games and are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and the Cubs are 0-5 in their last five games against right-handed starters. Take TAMPA BAY! |
04-19-22 | Cardinals v. Marlins +101 | Top | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 30 m | Show |
St. Louis at Miami 6:40 ET Marlins over Cardinals- The Cardinals will send veteran Adam Wainwright (1-1. 3.48 ERA) to the bump who at 40 years old is coming off another great season as he was 17-7 with a 3.05 ERA in 2021. Wainwright is 6-2 with a 3.08 ERA in his career against the Marlins. Miami will start Jesus Luzardo who is coming off a career high 12 strikeouts in just five innings allowing just two hits against the Angels and received no decision. The Marlins are 5-1 in their last six games at home and will stop a six-game losing streak to the Cardinals today. Take MIAMI! |
04-17-22 | Giants -115 v. Guardians | Top | 8-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 1 m | Show |
San Francisco at Cleveland 1:40 ET Giants over Watch Dogs- I don't see Aaron Civale (12-5, 3.84 ERA in '21) being an underdog here so the oddsmaker must be aware of some things that I am not and I will defer to him and Alex Wood (10-4, 3.83 in '20). Although these two don't meet very often and I am not going as far back as the 1954 Willie Mays catch World Series but the Giants are 9-1 the last 10 meetings. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
04-16-22 | Phillies v. Marlins -110 | Top | 10-3 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 55 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Miami 6:10 ET Marlins over Phillies- The Marlins have opened their home season with a pair of wins over the Phillies and it was pitching more than anything else as they surrendered only four runs combined in both games. Philadelphia will start 'Lone' Ranger Suarez (0-0, 10.13 ERA) and Miami will start Trevor Rogers (0-1, 3.60) who threw to a 2.64 ERA surrendering only 107 hits in 133 innings with 157 strikeouts. The Phillies are now 4-11 in their last 15 games in Miami including 0-5 in the last five. Take MIAMI! |
04-15-22 | Phillies v. Marlins -118 | Top | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Miami 6:40 ET Marlins over Phillies- There is something about this Phillies team that makes me think that they have just enough talent to lose. 'We' played against them last night and will do it against tonight. Pablo Lopez Miami's best the past three seasons with and ERA of 3.07 last season allowing 30 less hits than innings pitched. The Phillies are now 4-10 in their last 14 games in Miami and are 3-7 in their last 10 starts against right handed pitching. Take MIAMI! |

Philadelphia at Miami 6:40 ET Marlins over Phillies- The Marlins host Philadelphia in their home opener after having dropped four of five on their early West coast trip defeating the Giants once and losing twice to the Dodgers. The Phillies are even at 3-3 and just dropped two-of-three home games to the Mets. Miami will start Sandy Alcantara who has a career ERA of 3.40 over six MLB seasons and only surrendering three hits in five inning in his first start although take the loss against San Francisco. The Phillies are 3-7 against righty starters and are 4-9 in their last 13 games in Miami and the Marlins are 7-2 in their last nine at home. Take MIAMI! |
04-13-22 | Mets v. Phillies -106 | Top | 9-6 | Loss | -106 | 3 h 32 m | Show |
New York Mets at Philadelphia 1:05 ET Phillies over Mets- Here come the Mets with Max Scherzer making his second start for his new club and won easily his first time out defeating Washington 7-3 while surrendering three runs on three hits in six innings with six strikeouts. For the Phillies it will be Aaron Nola on the hill and the Whiz Kids are 8-2 in their last 10 games as home favorites and the fact that they are favored over Scherzer give them the edge as they are 7-1 in the last eight meetings and 20-8 in the last 28 meetings in the 'City of Brotherly Love.' Take PHILADELPHIA. |
04-12-22 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -114 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 12 m | Show |
Toronto at New York Yankees 7:05 ET Yankees over Blue Jays- Toronto is considered the favorite by many to win the AL East and believe that they have shored up their weakest liner and that is their starting pitching. The Blue Jays will start 31-yer old and three year veteran Japanese born Yusel Kikuchi who was 15-24 with Seattle. The Yankees will start Nestor, Cortes Jr. who had a number of impressive starts last season striking out 107 and allowing just 75 hits in 93 innings. The Cuban refugee was 5-1 with New York in 2019 play the Yanks are 6-1 in their last seven games against a left-handed starter. Take NEW YORK YANKEES! |
04-10-22 | Indians v. Royals -112 | Top | 17-3 | Loss | -112 | 4 h 50 m | Show |
Cleveland at Kansas City 2:10 ET Royals over Watch Dogs- The Royals No. 1 pick out of Stanford in 2018 Kris Bubic will make his first start of the season against a depleted Cleveland squad that not only lost a number out standout players the past two seasons and lost their name as well. Cal Quantrill gets the nod for the lost tribe and they are 1-4 in their last five games at KC and the Royals are 5-1 in their last six games when favored. Take KANSAS CITY! |
04-09-22 | Indians v. Royals -115 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
Cleveland at Kansas City 4:10 ET Royals over Watchdogs- Knowing who these two teams are and aware of what today's starters have done in the past I would think the logic side would be Cleveland. But, Kansas City has come up the favorite and that was a small surprise and it indicates to me that the Royals are in position to win. Giving stats this early in the season doesn't pass any sample size. Take KANSAS CITY! |
04-08-22 | Astros v. Angels -113 | Top | 13-6 | Loss | -113 | 11 h 25 m | Show |
Houston at L.A. Angels 9:35 ET Angels over Astros- American league MVP Shohei Ohtani started yesterday's opener on mound and lead off for the Angels. Unfortunately he received the loss after going 4.2 innings and surrendering just one run with nine strikeouts and went 0-4 at the plate. Los Angeles will start their No. 1 prospect Reid Detmers who was 1-3 with a 7.40 ERA in five starts with his lone win coming against the Astros in a game he worked six innings giving up one run on three hits. Houston will start Jake Odorizzi (6-7, 4.21) who is 1-3 with a 5.00 ERA in eight starts against the Angels. Take the ANGELS! |
04-07-22 | Mets -128 v. Nationals | Top | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 21 h 33 m | Show |
New York Mets at Washington 4:05 ET Mets over Nationals- Here is the state of MLB on Opening Day in 2022. The Mets have what is to be considered the best No. 1 and No. 2 starters in all of baseball with Jacob Degrom and Mac Scherzer. So, who will be New York's Opening Day starter but none other than the renown Taylor Megill (4-6, 4.52 ERA). Under the new ownership of Steve Cohen the Mets have added depth and have a number of veterans including Robinson Cano among others to sure up their balance roster. Washington will send left-hander Patrick Corbin who has had back-to-back losing seasons with a combined 11-23 with an ERA 5.48. The Nationals are not expected to contend this season and the line shows little respect for the home team. Take NEW YORK METS! |
10-29-21 | Astros +107 v. Braves | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
Houston at Atlanta 8:08 ET Astros over Braves- Houston has been the best bat-on-the-ball hitting team in baseball the entire season making contact more than any other MLB club. They continued that trend in the playoffs crushing the White Sox and Red Sox scoring 67 runs in 10 games and answered the Braves Game 1 victory with an easy 7-2 win in Game 2. Atlanta will start former Ian Andersson who has had three postseason wins (1-0, 2.25 ERA this time around) and Houston will start Luis Garcia who shut down the Red Sox last Friday. Take HOUSTON! |
10-19-21 | Astros v. Red Sox -125 | Top | 9-2 | Loss | -125 | 12 h 38 m | Show |
Houston at Boston 8:08 ET Red Sox over Astros- I've seen the Red Sox do it before...in 2004. When this team was down 3-1 in games to the Yankees and then their 'mojo' took over and they just kept winning right on to and through the World Series. After Boston's 12-3 mashing of the Astros Monday the 'Fly-boys' are trying to figure out a way to stifle the Sawx booming bats and will send Zack Greinke to the mound at Fenway Park tonight. But, that won't help as he has not had much postseason success going 4-6 with a 4.18 ERA in 20 games and he is 2-5 with an ERA of 5.09 lifetime against Boston and is 0-2 with a 10.22 ERA at Fenway Park. The Red Sox will start Nick Pivetta who is 1-0 with a 3.12 ERA in the 2021 playoffs will be good enough to win here with his mates support. Take BOSTON! |
10-18-21 | Astros v. Red Sox -114 | Top | 3-12 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
Houston at Boston 8:10 ET Red Sox over Astros- It doesn't matter to me who the starting pitchers are going to be as in today's state of the game in Major League baseball it is unlikely any of them will finish. That being said Houston will start Jose Urquidy (8-3, 3.62 ERA) who is making his first post start this year and his last three regular season outings he has surrendered nine runs in 16 1/3 innings allowing five home runs. That's not a good sign if you are taking the mound at Fenway Park against the Red Sox. The Astros are 1-5 in their last six road games (it's a lot different what you're not sure what pitch in coming) and the Red Sox are 7-0 in their last seven starts against right-handers and 6-0 in their last six home playoff games. Take BOSTON! |
10-15-21 | Red Sox +127 v. Astros | Top | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 23 m | Show |
Boston at Houston 8:07 ET Red Sox over Astros- Chris Sale who has been nothing short of terrible surrendering 10 earned runs in his last three starts covering 8.2 innings with an ERA of 10.98 so I fully expect him to shut down the Astros here. Now, I realize that both clubs will have major home field advantages as they BOTH will be aware of what pitches are coming when they are at the plate but, Sale can be difficult even if you know what is on its way. Sawx manager Alex Cora has been in the middle of sign stealing on both sides so may be able to counter Houston's shenanigans. Houston is slated to start Framber Valdez (0-0, 8.31 ERA) and he hasn't been any better than Sale. Take BOSTON! |
10-14-21 | Dodgers v. Giants -104 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -104 | 28 h 39 m | Show |
L.A. Dodgers at San Francisco 9:07 ET Giants over Dodgers- Both of these clubs have won 109 games and it comes down to the final in a Best-of-Five series to advance to the NLCS. The Dodgers have listed 21-game winner Julio Urias (2.93 ERA) as their starter against the Giants Logan Webb (12-3, 2.83) who shut down L.A. in 7.2 innings in the series opener. San Francisco earned the home field here by beating out the Da' Bums (formerly Brooklyn) by winning 54 of 83 home games. Webb just passes the eye test to me striking out 10 in the series opener. Take the GIANTS! |
10-12-21 | Astros v. White Sox -110 | Top | 10-1 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 10 m | Show |
Houston at Chicago W.S. 3:37 ET White Sox over Astros- Home cooking has been the winning formula in this series as Chicago won 12-6 Sunday after the Astros had won the first two games at home. Houston will send Lance McCullers to the mound and his counterpart for the White Sox will be Carlos Rodon (13-8, 2.37) who saw less and less action after the All-star break because of arm fatigue and has pitched just eight innings since September 20. But, he is 2-0 with a 1.55 ERA in seven career starts against Houston and will go far enough in this one to get the win. Take WHITE SOX! |
10-11-21 | Rays v. Red Sox -105 | Top | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Boston Red Sox 7:07 ET Red Sox over Rays- After losing Game 1 of this Best-of-five series the Red Sox have the 'Mojo' now and will close out this series tonight at Fenway Park. Boston will wear those 'chicken yellow' uniforms to honor those running the Boston Marathon and will start Eduardo Rodriguez who was knocked out of the series opener while allowing two runs in just 1.2 innings. The Rays will start ant of 11 pitchers that they will end up using as is what they do. Take BOSTON! |
10-10-21 | Astros v. White Sox -113 | Top | 6-12 | Win | 100 | 11 h 22 m | Show |
Houston at Chicago White Sox 8:07 ET White Sox over Astros- It's do or die for Chicago after failing both games in Houston. The White Sox will start Dylan Cease (13-7, 3.91 ERA) who is 0-3 lifetime against Houston with an ERA of 6.60 in just 15 innings work. But, playoff action is a different ball game. The Astros will send Luis Garcia (11-8, 3.30) to the hill and he haD a no decision in his lone start against Chicago throwing seven innings and allowing just one hit. But, this one goes to the WHITE SOX! |
10-08-21 | Dodgers -116 v. Giants | Top | 0-4 | Loss | -116 | 13 h 52 m | Show |
L.A. Dodgers at San Francisco 9:37 ET Dodgers over Giants- This matchup of MLB's best teams is bringing back lore of when these clubs were playing at the Polo Grounds and Ebbets Field. Both the Dodgers and Giants have now won 107 games this season and all eyes with be on this late starting battle in San Francisco. The Giants will start Logan Webb (11-3, 3.03 ERA) who hasn't lost since May 5 while Los Angeles will start Walker Buehler (16-4, 2.47) who is 7-1 lifetime with a 2.55 ERA against their bitter rivals. Webb is 1-2 with a 3.64 ERA in six career starts against the Dodgers. Although the Giants are 6-2 in the last eight meetings LA is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings at Oracle Park. Take the DODGERS! |
10-07-21 | Red Sox +140 v. Rays | Top | 0-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
Boston at Tampa Bay 8:07 ET Red Sox over Rays- Rays left-hander Shane McClanahan (10-6, 3.43 ERA) will start the series opener opposite Red Sox left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (13-8, 4.74 ERA). McClanahan, 24, will be making his first playoff start after becoming the first pitcher ever to make his major league debut in the postseason last October for the Rays. He pitched to an 8.31 ERA in 4 1/3 innings over four relief appearances but McClanahan went 1-1 with a 2.81 ERA in three starts versus the Red Sox this season. The Red Sox are 3-10 in their last 13 games on astroturf and they are 4-12 in their last 16 games as road underdog. Tampa Bay is 45-17 in their last 62 home games and 10-4 in their last playoff games at home. But the Rays are 3-7 in their last 10 playoff games. Take BOSTON! |
09-30-21 | Yankees v. Blue Jays -134 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -134 | 11 h 36 m | Show |
N.Y. Yankees at Toronto 7:10 ET Blue Jays over Yankees- With four games remaining Blue Jays are one-game behind Boston for the second wild card berth after breaking the Yankees seven-game winning streak last night and will send their winningest pitcher Robbie Rays (13-6, 2.68 ERA) to the mound against New York's oft injured Corey Kluber (5-3, 3.82). Rays who is 0-2 with a 5.59 ERA against the Yankees this season has 244 strikeouts in 188 innings and against the Bombers free swingers could have a good outing. Look for the Blue Jays bats to be the difference as both Bichette and Guerrero came to life last night. Take TORONTO! |
09-28-21 | Brewers -116 v. Cardinals | Top | 2-6 | Loss | -116 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
Milwaukee at St. Louis 7:45 ET Brewers over Cardinals- The Red Birds have run off 16 straight wins and will have their best in 40-year old Adam Wainwright (16-7, 3.05 ERA) on the mound in tonight contest against Milwaukee in St. Louis. He started the season 0-3 in April and is 16-4 since including 9-1 in his last 10 decisions and yet St. Louis is an underdog at home against the Brewers. The Brew Crew will start Brandon Woodruff (9-10, 2.52) who is 0-2 with a 3.86 ERA against the Cards this season and yet he is favored here as they have lost their last four meetings. Wainwright is 19-12 lifetime against the Brewers and yet is an underdog tonight. The Cardinals win streak according to the oddsmakers ends here. Take MILWAUKEE! |
09-26-21 | Royals -105 v. Tigers | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 3 h 28 m | Show |
Kansas City at Detroit Royals over Tigers- A pair of also-rans who are playing out the string and are thinking more of playing golf than baseball will send two hot pitchers to the mound. Detroit's Wily Peralta (4-3, 3.04 ERA) has thrown 16 straight scoreless innings and his counterpart for the Royals Kris Bubic (5-6, 4.80) won his last start holding Seattle to one run and two hits in 6.1 innings. He has faced the tigers three times this season and is 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA while Peralta is 0-1 against Kansas City. Take the ROYALS |
09-25-21 | Yankees +104 v. Red Sox | Top | 5-3 | Win | 104 | 7 h 12 m | Show |
N.Y. Yankees at Boston 7:10 ET Yankees over Red Sox- As scary as it seems it looks as though the Yankees have been laying in wait for Boston as this 3-game set will go a long way to determine who makes it into the playoffs. New York started the year 0-7 against the Red Sox and are now 7-3 in the last 10 meetings after Friday's 8-3 blowout win ( led 7-0 in the 3rd) breaking the Sawx 7-game win streak. The Yanks who have won their last four will start lefty Nestor Cortes (2-2, 2.79 ERA) has the second lowest ERA in the AL since his first appearance May 30th. Boston will start Nick Pivetta (9-7, 4.63) who hasn't won since August 13. Take NEW YORK YANKEES! |
09-24-21 | Yankees -115 v. Red Sox | Top | 8-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 5 m | Show |
N.Y. Yankees at Boston 7:10 ET Yankees over Red Sox- Fighting for a wild card berth these two biggest of rivals begin a 3-game set at Fenway Park where the Red Sox are 49-29 on the year. New York will start the American Leagues winningest pitcher in Gerrit Cole (15-8, 3.03 ERA) who is off his worst performance of the season surrendering 10 hits and seven runs in 5.2 innings losing to Cleveland 11-1. Boston who led the NL east for four months are now fighting for a wild card spot and have a 2-games lead over the Yankees for the final playoff spot and will send Nathan Eovaldi (10-8, 3.58) to the mound for the Sawx. The Yankees are 6-3 in the last nine meetings after starting the season 0-7 against their bitter rivals and are 1-7 in the last eight meetings in Boston. But the Red Sox have won their last seven games overall. Take NEW YORK! |
09-22-21 | Cardinals v. Brewers -125 | Top | 10-2 | Loss | -125 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
St. Louis at Milwaukee 7:40 ET Brewers over Cardinals- St. Louis has won 10 straight and 12-of-13 and now have a 4-games lead in the wild card chase. The Red Birds will send Miles Mikolas (1-2, 4.50 ERA) who earned his first victory in over two years last time out against the Padres. Milwaukee will hand Brett Anderson (4-8, 4.18) and the left-hander won his only start against the Cardinals this season back in April allowing only one run in five innings. Milwaukee is 10-4 as home favorites and 41-18 in their last 59 starts against a right-hander and I expect that trend to continue today. Take the BREWERS! |
09-17-21 | Padres v. Cardinals -129 | Top | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
San Diego at St. Louis 8:15 ET Cardinals over Padres- The Padres pitching staff is so beset with injuries that they picked up Vince Velasquez (3-6, 5.95 ERA) who was so bad that he was just released outright by Philadelphia (who need pitching them selves). St. Louis who is battling San Diego for the second wild card spot have won five straight and 7-of-8 and will send Miles Mikolas (0-2, 5.47) who is making a comeback from injury is 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in three career starts against San Diego. The Pods ended a 5-game losing streak with a pair of wins over the Giants but fall short here. Take ST. LOUIS! |
09-15-21 | Cardinals v. Mets -163 | Top | 11-4 | Loss | -163 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
St. Louis at N.Y. Mets 7:10 ET Mets over Cardinals- From where did they come from? The Cardinals seem to out of the blue as they have won six of seven and have moved into the second wild-card spot as the Padres and Reds have dropped in the standings. But, no one has slipped more the Mets who had a 4.5 game lead on August 1st but have gone 4-15 in one run games since. New York will start rookie Tylor Megill (3-4, 4.06 ERA) who is off his best performance of the season striking out 10 and allowing two runs in seven innings against the Yankees last Friday. St. Louis will start veteran lefty Jon Lester (5-6, 4.75) who is 8-1 lifetime against the Mets. Although struggling the Mets are still 5-1 in their last six home games when favored. Take NEW YORK METS! |
09-13-21 | Cardinals v. Mets -101 | Top | 7-0 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
St. Louis at New York Mets 7:10 ET Mets over Cardinals- So Adam Wainwright (15-7, 2.98 ERA) who is having another great season is an underdog to the Mets and Rich Hill (0-2 3.71) who has yet to win a game for New York. When I see that St. Louis is 6-0 on the road against left-handed starters I wonder how can they be underdogs. The Cardinals have won 7-of-the-last-10 meetings and the Mets are 7-19 against teams with winning records including 1-8 in their last nine at home against winners. This game stinks...Take M-U-T-S! |
09-12-21 | Nationals -121 v. Pirates | Top | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 3 h 27 m | Show |
Washington at Pittsburgh 1:05 ET Nationals over Pirates- At one point in their victory Saturday the Pirates had scored nine runs and had only four hits and ended up with 10 runs on seven total hits as Nationals pitchers walked 10. Washington has dropped their last three while Pittsburgh has won 4-of-5 and yet the visit opened as the favorite as they are 5-2 in the last seven meetings. Left-hander Patrick Corbin (7-14, 6.14 ERA) has had a rough year and will get the start for the Nats and he is 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA against the Buc's while pitching for Washington. The Pirates will start Bryse Wilson (2-6, 4.60) and he is 0-3 in six starts for them since coming over from the Braves. Take WASHINGTON! |
09-11-21 | Nationals -125 v. Pirates | Top | 7-10 | Loss | -125 | 9 h 30 m | Show |
Washington at Pittsburgh 6:35 ET Nationals over Pirates- A pair of bottom feeders go at it just playing out the string of games left on the schedule. Pittsburgh managed a 4-3 walk-off win yesterday as they moved to only 39 games under. 500. The Nationals who are just 25-games under .500 will start rookie Josiah Gray (0-2, 5.65 ERA) while the home club will start rookie Wil Crowe (3-7, 5.94) and both are facing their opponents for the first time. The Pirates are just 1-7 in their last eight starts against right-handed starters and the Nats are 5-1 in the last six meetings. Take WASHINGTON! |
09-10-21 | Padres +141 v. Dodgers | Top | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 31 m | Show |
San Diego at L.A. Dodgers 10:10 ET Padres over Dodgers- Things are changing fast in the NL West where the Giants have a 2.5-game lead over Los Angeles and the Padres a 2-game advantage over the Reds for the final Wild Card spot. The Dodgers will start the winningest pitcher in baseball as Julio Urias (16-3, 3.11 ERA) takes the hill and San Diego will counter with Joe Musgrove (10-8, 2.87) who is 0-3 with a 4.21 ERA lifetime against LA. Urias has been outstanding of late but the Dodgers bats have gone meek. Take SAN DIEGO! |
09-09-21 | White Sox v. A's -135 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
Chicago W.S. at Oakland 3:40 A's over White Sox- These two clubs met in the playoffs last season with the A's taking the series 2-1 but Oakland now trails the Yankees in the Wild Card chase by 3-games. Chicago has no such worries as they are running away with the AL Central and will start Reynaldo Lopez (3-1, 2.08 ERA) and he is 2-1 with a 0.77 ERA against the A's. Oakland will start Sean Manaea (8-9, 3.91) and he has face the White Sox just once going seven innings allowing one run on five hits and no walks. Chicago is 15-39 as road dogs and 6-16 on the road against winning teams. Take OAKLAND! |
09-08-21 | Mets v. Marlins +102 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 102 | 8 h 31 m | Show |
N.Y. Mets at Miami 6:40 ET Marline over Mets- It when it appeared the Mets were ready to self destruct they found life by winning 8-of-10. Mets players were being booed in NY so the players reacted against the fans and now it is an 'us' against them and they are winning. One person who is not winning for the Mets in Rich Hill (6-6, 3.92 ERA) who has yet to post a nine in six appearances with New York going 0-4. Miami will start Sandy Alcantara (8-13, 3.36) who has thrown well this season but was hit hard last time out against the Mets. The Marlins are 5-2 at home versus Mets and they get the money today. Take MIAMI! |
09-07-21 | Rays v. Red Sox -101 | Top | 12-7 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Boston 7:10 ET Red Sox over Rays- The Red Sox need to stop the bleeding as they blew a 6-run lead to Tampa Bay yesterday and are just 24-25 since the All-Star break when they were 55-36. Part of Boston's troubles is their defense which leads the AL in errors including four Monday that allowed six unearned runs. The Rays will send Drew Rasmussen (1-0, 3.00 ERA) and he has a 2.53 ERA in five appearances against the Red Sox with no decisions. The Sawx will start Eduardo Rodriguez (11-7, 4.88) and he defeated the Rays 4-0 in Tampa Bay last week throwing six scoreless innings. Take BOSTON! |
09-06-21 | Twins -110 v. Indians | Top | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 20 h 7 m | Show |
Minnesota at Cleveland 6:10 ET Twins over Indians- Okay, let me digest this...The Twins who manny expected the win the Central have been terrible all year, they have now lost 4-of-5 and are19-games under .500. Cleveland who is right where most people expected them to be are 35-30 at home and the oddsmaker has made Minnesota the favorite here which makes no sense at all. The best that I can figure is that respect is being paid to 6'9” Bailey Ober (2-2, 3.98 ERA) who has averaged better and a strikeout per inning in this his rookie year. He has a 1.75 ERA in his last four starts covering 20 innings and they are 4-1 in the last five meetings. Take MINNESOTA! |
09-04-21 | Astros v. Padres -111 | Top | 2-10 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show |
Houston at San Diego 8:40 ET Padres over Rockets- San Diego who at one time was 17-games over .500 before they hit the skids three weeks ago and have now lost 15 of their last 20. Left-hander Framber Valdez (9-4, 2.91 ERA) has been consistent all season and his mound opponent Joe Musgrove (9-8, 2.85) has a no-hitter and has won four of his last five and has surrendered two runs or less in six of seven starts. Take SAN DIEGO! |
09-03-21 | Dodgers v. Giants +105 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 105 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
L.A. Dodgers at San Francisco 9:45 ET Giants over Dodgers- What I've was told when I was a child was that the MLB season is a long one and the 'cream will rise to the top.' Well, that's what has happened in the NL West as the Giants dominated past for five months and now the 'cream' the Dodgers are making their move and have caught their bitter rivals. LA will send David Price (4-2, 3.88 ERA) and while he is 0-3 lifetime against the Giants he owns a 2.88 ERA. The Jints will send Anthony DiSclafani is 1-8 lifetime against the Dodgers with a 6.47 ERA. Still, this is a spot for SAN FRANCISCO! |
09-01-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -105 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
Boston at Tampa Bay 7:10 ET Rays over Red Sox- Boston's Chris Sale (3-0, 2.35 ERA) returns to his native Florida to pitch for the first time in over two years and he is coming off his'immaculate inning' Thursday when he fanned three Twins on nine pitches. He has recorded wins over the Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins in his three starts and now he faces a real baseball team. Tampa Bay has won nine straight and were 21-6 in August and will probably use their famous 'All-Staff' as a starter. Boston is 0-8 in their last eight game at Tropicana Field and 9-24 in the last 33 meetings overall. Take the RAYS! |

08-31-21 | Brewers -115 v. Giants | Top | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 14 h 60 m | Show |
Milwaukee at San Francisco 9:45 ET Brewers over Giants- Once again we have the Brewers favored on the road over San Francisco the MLB's team with the best record who is 42-20 at home. Granted Milwaukee may have the edge on the mound as Brandon Woodruff (8-7, 2.38 ERA) takes the hill for the visitors but the Giants are sending Alex Wood (10-4, 4.08) and his teammates are 16-7 when he starts on the bump. Johnny Cuerto (7-6, 2.73) is 11-4 with a 2.99 ERA in 23 career starts against the Brewers but it won't matter today. Giants are in a soon and Brewers are hot. Take MILWAUKEE! |
08-29-21 | Giants v. Braves -127 | Top | 0-9 | Win | 100 | 4 h 36 m | Show |
San Francisco at Atlanta 1:20 ET Braves over Giants- One of the biggest pitching surprises this season has been the effectiveness of the Giants Anthony DeSclafini (11-5, 3.26 ERA) who entered the season with a lifetime record below .500 and with a career ERA over 4.50 having surrendered more hits than innings pitched. Atlanta will start Ian Anderson (5-5, 3.56) who has allowed less hits than innings pitched and has averaged 1.3 strikeouts per inning. Despite their win yesterday San Fran is just 3-9 in their last 12 games in Atlanta and the Braves are 20-6 following a loss and 21-6 in their last 27 games as favorites. Take ATLANTA! |
08-28-21 | Giants v. Braves -114 | Top | 5-0 | Loss | -114 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
San Francisco at Atlanta 7:20 ET Braves over Giants- The pundits are still trying to figure how the Giants have the best record in MLB and one reason for their success is their balance as the lead the majors in home runs with 195 and their team leader has just 20 dingers. San Francisco has assembled a pitching staff that is second in ERA at 3.70 and will start Logan Webb (7-3, 2.84 ERA) and his mates are 14-4 in his 18 starts. Atlanta leads the NL East as they are 20-7 in their last 27 games overall. The Braves who are 6-1 in the last seven meetings will start Huascar Ynoa (4-3, 2.89) and he is facing the Giants for the first time in his short career. Today, it is the BRAVES! |
08-25-21 | Giants v. Mets -106 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
San Francisco at New York Mets 7:10 ET Mets over Giants- When Francisco Lindor was placed on the IL six weeks ago the Mets were in first place leading the Phillies and Braves by 3-games but over the past six weeks they have dropped faster than Biden's approval ratings. Today, the Mets trail Atlanta by 6.5 games as they have lost 9-of-11 against the Giants and Dodgers and are 6-16 in August as Lindor returned Tuesday going 0-4. New York will start Taijuan Walker (7-8, 3.86 ERA) who is 0-5 with a 7.49 ERA, with opponents averaging .284 while allowing 11 home runs. Walker is 3-2 with a 3.82 era in six appearances against the Giants who will start Johnny Cueto (7-6, 3.89) who is 4-4 with a 3.53 lifetime against the Mets. Although the number are ugly New York is 4-1 when favored in last five and are 25-12 at home. Take the METS! |

The Giants who lead the majors with 80 wins are 15-5 in their last 20 games and will start rookie left-hander Sammy Long (1-1, 5.72 ERA) who in his last five appearances has an ERA of 7.43 allowing opponents to hit .276. The Mets will also start a rookie in Tylor Megill (1-2, 3.21) who has a 27-5 strikeout to walk ratio. New York is 15-games under .500 on the road but a healthy 36-23 at home and 13-3 following a day off. Take the METS! |

Chicago W.S. at Toronto 7:07 ET Blue Jays over White Sox- The Blue Jays are blowing their Wild Card chances as they have dropped 7-of-9 losing in extra innings nine times in 11 tries. Chicago enters this fray losing 3-of-4 and will start their ace Lance Lynn (10-3, 2.26 ERA) and he is 3-0 with a 2.44 ERA in his last nine starts but is 1-3 with a 4.73 ERA against Toronto. Rookie Alek Manoah (5-2, 3.34) will start for the Blue Jays who are 10-4 when playing in Toronto. Take the BLUE JAYS! |
08-22-21 | Royals v. Cubs -106 | Top | 9-1 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 47 m | Show |
Kansas City at Chicago Cubs 2:20 ET Cubs over Royals- The Cubs organization should be ashamed of themselves after sending the heart of their line-up and ballplayers away to leading contenders. Chicago has now lost 14 of 16 which is a part of a 12-game home losing streak their longest since 1900. The oddity here is that Kansas City is 2-8 in their last 10 games on the road against teams with losing records and both wins came against the Cubs. Chi-town will start Alec Mills (5-5, 4.19 ERA) who has hd one career start against the Royals earned the win after throwing seven scoreless innings allowing just three hits. Despite their home losing streak Chicago is 31-30 at home. Today they break their home losing streak with a win. Take the CUBS! |
08-21-21 | White Sox v. Rays -134 | Top | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 46 m | Show |
Chicago W.S. at Tampa Bay 1:10 ET Rays over White Sox- Chicago leads the AL Central Division by 11.5 games and are 52-29 against non-playoff teams but, are just 20-22 on the road. Tampa Bay has the best record in the AL and have won six of their last nine. The White Sox will start Dallas Keuchel (8-6, 4.48 ERA) and he is 2-5 with a 4.18 ERA in nine starts against Tampa. The Rays wills start Luis Pation (2-3, 4.73) who is facing the White Sox who are 15-37 as road underdogs for the first time. Tampa is 43-17 as favorites in their last 60 games. Take TAMPA BAY! |
08-18-21 | Red Sox v. Yankees -111 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
Boston at N.Y. Yankees 7:05 ET Yankees over Red Sox- Boston will certainly have the best of it on the mound as Nick Pivetta (9-5, 4.20 ERA) takes the hill against New York's newly acquired Andrew Heaney (7-8, 5.78). Heaney who was the Angels Opening Day starter has been atrocious since coming over to the Yankees and has a 9.00 ERA in three starts. In less than a month the Red Sox have lost a 9.5-game lead over New York and have lost 10 of their last 13 games. They won the first eight meetings of the season against the Bronx Bombers but are just 17-38 at Yankee Stadium. The Yanks are 17-5 since blowing a 4-0 lead at Fenway and don't worry about Heaney (I will do that) as they have their 'mojo' working while the 'Dead Sox' are gagging. Take NEW YORK! |

The White Sox ave been dominate at home going 56-26 in their last 82 although until last night they have struggled against Oakland. This time Sox surprise. Take CHICAGO! |

The A's trail Houston by 2.5-games in the AL West while Chicago is on cruise control in the Central leading Cleveland by 10-games. Oakland will start Frankie Montas (9-8, 3.98 ERA) who has had six quality starts in-a-row will be making his first career start against the White Sox while the Pale Hose will start veteran lefty Dallas Keuchel (7-6, 4.51) who has gone five starts without a win and is 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA in his last four starts against the A's. Oakland is 4-0 in their last four after a loss and are 7-3 in their last ten games in Chicago and 38-15 against left-handed starters. The White Sox are strong at home but just 18-38 as underdogs. Take OAKLAND! |

08-12-21 | Blue Jays -128 v. Angels | Top | 3-6 | Loss | -128 | 12 h 47 m | Show |
Megabucks Toronto at L.A. Angels 9:35 ET Blue Jays over Angels- The 'Shohei Ohtani Show' continues tonight as Ohtani (6-1, 2.93 ERA) takes the hill leading the majors in home runs with 38 as well as scoring 76 runs and stolen 17 bases. But, he has struggled at the plate of late going 1-for-15 with just one homer since July 28 and he has never faced the Blue Jays. Toronto will start Jose Berrios (8-5, 3.23) who is 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA in a pair of starts for the Jays. The Blue Jays have MLB's three top run scorers in Bichette and Guerrero lead with 87 each and Semien is at 84. Jays have won 12 of last 15 and Springer is hot as they dash to the playoffs. Take TORONTO! |
08-11-21 | A's v. Indians +137 | Top | 6-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Oakland at Cleveland 7:10 ET Indians over A's- A huge conflict in trends are surrounding this contest as Oakland has won five straight games overall and six straight at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The Indians who managed just one-hit in the final 8.1 innings of yesterday's 4-3 loss are now 8-20 in their last 28 games as home underdogs. The A's will start Frankie Montas (9-8, 4.10 ERA)and he is 1-2 with a fine 2.86 ERA in seven career appearances against the Tribe. The conflict appears when Indians starter Can Quantrill (3-2, 3.14) who is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA in his last six starts takes the hill. He has an ERA of 0.47 in his last three outings and has allow just 19 hits in his last 30 innings. Take CLEVELAND! |
08-10-21 | Reds -102 v. Braves | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -102 | 9 h 13 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Atlanta 7:20 ET Reds over Braves- Things are shaping up as the season moves on and two playoff contenders who met in last years playoffs face off in Atlanta. The Reds will send inconsistent Sonny Gray (4-6, 4.44 ERA) to start and he has yet to defeat the Braves in four career starts (0-2, 3.16) while Bravo starter Drew Smyly (7-3, 4.50) is 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in four career appearances against the Reds. Cincinnati is playing well and is 8-3 in their last 11 on the road and 5-1 in their last six games overall while Atlanta hasn't won two straight home games since July 2. Take CINCINNATI! |
08-08-21 | Giants v. Brewers +101 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
San Francisco at Milwaukee 2:10 ET Brewers over Giants- And the 'beat goes on'...the Giants just continue to win and right now they are the only club with 70 wins and they have a 4-game lead on the rest of baseball. Milwaukee has the deepest and strongest pitching staff which keeps opponents at a .213 batting average the low in MLB. Sunday, San Francisco will start their version of a 'Brewer Beater' as Johnny Cuerto (7-6, 3.83 ERA) who is 11-4 lifetime over Milwaukee while the Brewers will start lefty Brett Anderson (4-5, 3.67) who is 2-5 lifetime against the Jints who has surrendered just three hits in each of his last three starts going 2-0 with 1.80 ERA. The Brewers are 5-2 in the last seven meetings and are 9-3 against teams with winning records above .600 and the Giants are 1-4 in their last five starts against lefties on the road. Take MILWAUKEE! |
08-07-21 | Mets v. Phillies -105 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
New York Mets at Philadelphia 4:15 ET Phillies over Mets- I never feel comfortable when taking a 'popular' or 'public' side in games and this one stands out. Philadelphia has won six straight and after trailing New York for the entire season have caught up to the MUTS and have moved into the top spot in the NL East as the Metropolitan's have dropped 5-of-6 seven of their last nine games. Home field has been important to both clubs as the Phillies are 32-21 at home while New York are 23-33 on the road and have lost 15 of their last 22 meetings in Philadelphia. The mets are 3-9 in their last 12 starts against a left-handed starter while the 'Whiz Kids' are 8-2 against right-handed starters. Tylor Megill (1-1, 2.68 ERA) gets the nod for the Mets and he has shown well but it's a team game and New York is in a funk. The Phillies will start Ranger Suarez (5-3, 1.04) who has allowed just 21 hits in 43.1 innings although he is 1-2 with a 5.11 ERA in eight appearances against the Mets. Still, it's the 'mojo'...take PHILADELPHIA! |
08-01-21 | A's v. Angels -113 | Top | 8-3 | Loss | -113 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
Oakland at L.A. Angels 4:04 ET Angels over A's- It looks like I was a day early with the release of the Angles in the first game of this series and now I hope that I'm not a day late with this one. The Halos have been a thorn in my side so to speak as I have not been able to cash-in on them very often. Oakland has yet to name its starter although Daulton Jerreries most likely get the nod here. The Angels with send 2020 No. 1 pick Reid Detmers to the mound who is making his MLB debut. The A's are 3-7 in their last 10-games as underdogs and LA is 12-5 in their last 17 as home favorites. Take the ANGELS! |
07-31-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -100 | Top | 5-9 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show |
Boston at Tampa Bay 6:10 ET Rays over Red Sox- Tough matchup between the two top teams in the AL East as host Tampa Bay who trails the Red Sox by a half-game have won the last three meetings after dropped the first four this season. Boston will start 12-year veteran Nathan Eovaldi (9-5, 3.39 ERA) and the righty has always had electric stuff and has managed to win a pair of playoff games in 2018 and had an ERA 1.18 in the World Series but, has never reached the heights from a guy that knows how to win. He is 3-5 with an ERA of 4.91 lifetime against his former teammates while Ryan Yarbrough (6-4, 4.38) gets the nod for the Rays. He has struggled against the Red Sox as he is 3-3 with a 6.79 ERA in 13 career games (six starts) against Boston. Tampa Bay is 5-2 in their last seven meetings as hosts and 17-8 in the last 25 meetings. Take the RAYS! |

Oakland at L.A. Angels 9:35 ET Angels over A's- This will be the third time this season that the respective starting pitchers have already faced each other twice with the A's winning both 6-2 and 5-0 in May. LA will start Patrick Sandoval (3-4, 3.52 ERA) and he is off a 13 strikeout and one hit in 8.2 innings. Oakland will send their winningest hurler in Chris Bassitt (10-3, 3.46) and he has struggled in three of his last four starts. The Angels are are 4-1 in their last five and 19-9 in their last 28 home games. GO OHTANI! Take the ANGELS! |
07-29-21 | Dodgers -119 v. Giants | Top | 0-5 | Loss | -119 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
L.A. Dodgers at San Francisco 3:45 ET Dodgers over Giants- A pair of veteran hurlers will take the mound for the two best teams in the NL as David Price (4-0 3.35 ERA) gets the nod for Los Angeles and Johnny Cueto (6-5, 4.09) starts for the Giants. The Dodgers have picked up the pace as they are 9-4 in their last 13 against teams with winning records and are 7-1 in the last eight meetings in San Francisco. Price is 0-2 lifetime against the Giants with a 2.45 ERA in five meetings (4 starts). L.A. arms silence the Giants bats allowing just two runs in the first two games of the series. That do it again...take the DODGERS! |
07-28-21 | Diamondbacks v. Rangers -108 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -108 | 13 h 56 m | Show |
Arizona at Texas 8:05 ET Rangers over Diamondbacks- As this game will prove what Lee Wills once said about a pair of garbage teams playing each other is that 'there's got to be a winner. Arizona is 9-52 in their last 61 games as an underdog and 0-7 in inter-league games while lowly Texas is 6-2 in their last eight as home favorites but they are 8-20 in their last 28 inter-league home games. The D'backs will start veteran lefty Madison Bumgarner (4-6, 5.09 ERA) who is in the twilight of his career and is just playing out the string. The Rangers should start Jordan Lyles (5-7, 5.20) who is off a six-inning two-run performance against Oakland and they broke an 11-game losing streak last night and like Lee said 'somebody' has got to win. Take TEXAS! |

Cincinnati at Chicago Cubs 8:05 ET Reds over Cubs- Chicago manager David Ross admits that the Cubs will most likely be 'sellers' before the trade deadline on Friday as they closed the first half of the season losing 13 of their last 15 and are 3-6 since. Cincinnati will start Wade Miley (8-4, 2.72 ERA) and he is 7-4 lifetime against the Cubs including 2-1 with a 4.88 ERA in four starts at Wrigley Field while Chicago's ace Kyle Hendricks (12-4, 3.61) ands he is 6-5 with a 4.24 ERA in 20 career starts against the Redlegs. Cincy has won the last four meetings and are 5-1 in their last six when underdogs while the Cubs are 0-8 in their last eight against teams with winning records. Take CINCINNATI! |
07-25-21 | White Sox v. Brewers -132 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -132 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
Chicago White Sox at Milwaukee 7:05 ET Brewers over White Sox- 'We' are looking for a Brewers sweep of the White Sox here as their pitching staff is setting strikeout records. Chicago has lost their offensive 'mojo' as they have scored just four runs in their last three games and it won't get any better tonight. Milwaukee will start Brandon Woodruff (7-4, 2.04 ERA) and his 'numbers' are impressive as he has a 6.8/1 strikeout to walk ratio and opponents are hitting .168 against him. Chicago's Lance Lynn (9-3, 2.03) is having a huge comeback season allowing more than two runs only three times in 17 starts this season. The White Sox don't play well as road dogs where they are 14-37 in their last 51 in that role. Brewers 16-7 as favorites and 8-3 against right handed starters. Take MILWAUKEE! |
07-24-21 | White Sox v. Brewers -118 | Top | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show |

Chicago who is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings will send Carlos Rodon (8-3, 2.14 ERA) to the bump and he will be facing off against Milwaukee's Corbin Burnes (5-4, 2.16). Both hurlers were impressive on the return from the break as Rodon hurled seven scoreless innings surrendering just one hit striking out 10 and walking none and speaking about few walks, Burnes has 140 K's on the season with just 16 walks in 96 innings and an ERA of 0.84 in his last three starts. The Brewers are 15-7 in their last 22 as home favorites and 7-3 against left-handed starters. Take MILWAUKEE! |

Although Chicago is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings the Brewers are 15-5 in their last 20 games against right-handed starters. Take MILWAUKEE! |
