No Limit Play on Siena -4½ -115 The Siena Saints (5-5) host the Monmouth Hawks (6-5) in a MEAC showdown. Siena enters this game on a three-game winning streak while Monmouth has won their last four. Monmouth has one of the worst offenses in the country that ranks 311th. They are even a worse shooting team as they are 316th in FG%. Monmouth also struggled on the boards as they are 321st in rebounding. Siena has been decent this season scoring as they are 137th in points per game and they are a good rebounding team that ranks 79th. Both teams have bad defenses numbers that equal out. With the better shooting team and the better rebounding, the home team Siena should get an easy win and cover in the process.

The UTEP offense is one of the bottom 100 teams in the country in scoring while FIU is 11th in points scored per game. FIU is ranked inside the Top 100 in both FG% and 3PT% while the Miners are outside the Top 150 in each category. FIU is also in the Top 30 in opponent FG% and 3PT%. The Panthers are the all-around better team and their high-powered scoring along with their lockdown defense should make this a win for the Panthers and an easy pick as a pick 'em.

No Limit Play on Seton Hall PK -110 The Seton Hall Pirates (8-4) take on the DePaul Blue Demons (12-1). Seton Hall enters this game on a two-game winning streak including a huge upset over then #7 Maryland 52-48. Even without star player Myles Powell the Pirates pulled a major upset. Powell is questionable for Monday's game. The Pirates' two early season loss were to highly-ranked teams in Michigan State (76-73) and Oregon (71-69). Seton Hall has one of the nation's best defensive units and have done well against a Top 30 schedule in terms of difficulty. DePaul has had one of the nation's easiest schedules this season that ranks outside the Top 250. Despite their easy schedule, DePaul is 112th in points allowed this season. The Blue Demons are also one of the worst free-throw shooting teams in the country (328th). Regardless of whether or not Powell returns for the Pirates they are the better team in this matchup. DePaul's record is a product of their easy schedule more so than anything. Get Seton Hall at a pick 'em while you still can as they should win this game outright.

However, the Lions haven't been much better as they are 223rd in points scored per game. To make up for their very bad offense the Titans have a defense that ranks in the top half of the country in points allowed per game. Fullerton has had the tougher schedule recently and they should be able to make this a much closer game than expected against a Marymount team that isn't much better than them. This will be a close game that comes down to the final minute and the Titans will cover the spread in the process.

The Seahawks have an above average offense that ranks 139th in points scored, 94th in FG% and 38th in 3PT%. The Bears are 171st in points scored per game and struggle to shoot (209th in FG%). The Mercer defense is one of the worst defenses in the country. The Bears are 316th in points allowed per game and they struggle defending both from behind the arc (309th) and from two-point range as well (284th). The Mercer Bears, who are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games, are the inferior team in this matchup and Wilmington should get an easy win here with a good offense.

The Redhawks have a couple of nice wins (by their standards) over Denver and a solid IPFW team. They opened the season with an 18-point loss to Vanderbilt and have lose four of their five remaining games by single digits. Youngstown State has yet to beat a quality opponent this season. Two of their wins were against non-D1 teams. Their D1 victories have come against opponents with an 8-25 record. Their losses have come by an average of 15 points per game this season. The Penguins are one of the worst shooting teams in the country (278th FG% and 324th 3PT%). This should be a closer game than the spread would suggest. Youngstown State has struggled against very weak competition this season. Look for the Redhawks to make this a very close game as they cover the spread against an equally bad Penguins' team.

High Roller Play on Utah Valley -8 -110 The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (4-2) take on the Utah Valley Wolverines (4-7). Northern Arizona is one of the weakest teams in D1 this season. The Lumberjacks have two wins against non-D1 teams. They have a loss against a UC-Davis team that is 4-7 and also towards the bottom of the country. The Lumberjacks are one of the worst free-throw shooting teams in the country (303rd), while Utah Valley is one of the better teams (55th). Northern Arizona has one of the worst all-around defenses in terms of opponent shooting percentage (253rd FG% and 291st 3-PT%). The Wolverines have played a lot of close games this season, including just an eight-point loss to Kentucky. Five of their seven losses have been within six points. Utah Valley is the far better team in this matchup of bottom-half teams and a cover should not be an issue for the Wolverines against a terrible Lumberjacks' team.

Wichita State also had a rough game in their loss when they fell to West Virginia by 12. The Sooners have a few quality wins this season against Minnesota, Missouri and Oregon State. Wichita's biggest wins were against Oklahoma State and South Carolina. These two teams are equal offensively but the Sooners are the far better team from the free-throw line (28th versus 141st). The Shockers have the better defense statistically but a weaker schedule is a big reason why. The Sooners will be the biggest test of the season for a Shockers team that is not as good as they have been in recent years. Oklahoma with the points is a great play on the day.

High Roller Play on Kentucky -14½ -110 The #8 Kentucky Wildcats (7-1) host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (4-3). The Wildcats are 76th in scoring and 46th in shooting percentage from the field. Tech will have a hard time keeping up with a very potent Kentucky offense that features as much young talent as any team in the country. Kentucky is also a very solid defensive team that is 26th in points allowed and sixth in opponent shooting percentage. Add in the fact that Kentucky is in the Top 10 in shooting percentage from the free-throw line and this is a perfect recipe for a blowout. Kentucky cruises in this game.

High Roller Play on UCLA +8 -115 Two 7-3 teams, the UCLA Bruins and Notre Dame Fighting Irish battle this afternoon. Notre Dame is slightly better at scoring this season (98th to 126th for UCLA) but the Bruins are the far better shooting team (88th in field goal percentage compared to 247th for ND). Notre Dame has the better defense on paper but with how much better UCLA shoots than ND, it will be tough for the Irish to slow them down much. UCLA has caused a lot of self-inflicted wounds in their losses but they appear to be slowly correcting those mistakes. As long as the Bruins don't shoot them selves in the foot too many times, not only should the Bruins cover but possibly win outright.

The Wolfpack lost to the two toughest teams the played in Georgia Tech and Memphis. Wake Forest lost their last two games to two very good opponents in Arizona and Penn State. Wake Forest doesn't have any quality wins of their own, but they have been just like N.C. State, they beat weak teams and lose to better teams. Hosting this game and getting 4.5 points, look for the Demon Deacons to get the cover in this game between two very evenly matched teams on both sides of the ball.

Aside from another win against a 4-4 Minnesota team, the rest of DePaul's wins have come against inferior competition. The Red Raiders will be the toughest opponent for DePaul by far in this early part of the season. The Red Raiders have lost their last two games but they are still a very solid team. They aren't as good as they were last season when they reached the Final Four but the defense is still stout. Look for the Red Raiders to hand DePaul their first loss of the season thanks to their tough defense and efficient shooting.

High Roller Play on Belmont -5 -110 Eastern Washington (3-2) hosts Belmont (4-2). The EWU Eagles have two D1 wins against the 2-5 Seattle Redhawks and the 0-6 High Point Panthers. Their two losses came against their two toughest opponents in Saint Louis and Boston College. Belmont lost their season opener to Illinois State and followed that up by winning their next four. They are coming off of a loss against the same Saint Louis team that EWU lost to. During their four game win streak, the Bruins averaged nearly 90 points per game. They have held four opponents to 67 or fewer points this season. Belmont can score in bunches and they shoot great from three. The Eagles will have a hard time keeping up on offense as the Bruins run away with this one and get the cover.

No Limit Play on St Bonaventure -6 -110 The Mercer Bears (4-2) take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (1-4). Mercer's four wins have come by a non-D1 school and three D1 schools with a combined record of 3-14. The best team they played, a currently 5-2 St. Johns team, they lost 109-79. Their second loss came to Georgia Southern 98-88. The Bonnies lone win was against a 4-1 Rutgers team 80-74. The Bonnies have a couple of close losses this season, including a two-point loss to a very good Vermont team. Neither team will be anything special this season but don't be fooled by the Mercer record. St. Bonaventure plays solid defense and should be able to put together a better shooting day tonight at home as they get the cover against Mercer.

Citadel has had a tough schedule so far this season, losing to 4-0 Georgia by nine, 3-1 Campbell and 4-1 Illinois. Marist has had a much easier schedule but has struggled to get through it. The Red Foxes are one of the least efficient offensive teams in the country in the early season. They have yet to reach 60 points in any game and average just 50 points per game. Citadel likes to shoot the three as they have already taken 129 shots from behind the arc this season, nearly 26 per game. Even with a bad shooting night, Citadel will put up too many points for a bad Marist offense to keep up. Take Citadel and the points in a game they should win outright.

Columbia opened their season with two losses both by a score of 65-63 to Lafayette and Wake Forest. After defeating Binghamton, the Lions lost to Virginia and St. Johns. Rider shot below 40% from the field in each of their last two games and a combined 7/38 (18%) from three. Columbia has played tougher competition this season and with the more experience against better teams should get the win against a Rider team that has yet to be succesful against a team that isn't one of the worst in the country.

They beat a 2-5 Tennessee Tech, a 1-3 Austin Peay and their best win was against a 3-2 EKU team that is so-so. Bowling Green has played the only real decent team between these two in LSU and they played them well. This game will be played on a neutral court down in the Virgin Islands. Their lone D1 win came against Chattanooga in their season opener 79-68. An understandable blowout loss to Kentucky 91-49 and a 79-71 defeat to Western Kentucky account for their two losses. In FIU's two victories (one against non D1 opponent), they scored over 100 points. Their two losses were to Mississippi State (5-0) by 8 and N.C. State (4-1) by 9. The Panthers put together solid performances in all four of their games this season. They are the more consistent team and have the better experience. Their second game of the season was against then #9 UNC, a game in which they only lost by 16 despite shooting just 18% from three. The Vikings only win came against D2 Edinboro 79-54, a close game considering the quality of opponent. Their four losses came by an average of 32 points. The Vikings have yet to shoot above 27% from three against a D1 opponent and three times they shot 18% or lower. In their last game, Cleveland shot 27% from the field. Their two losses were to Air Force by seven and Baylor by nine, both on the road. The Cougars are a good shooting team, shooting 43% or better from the field in every game, including two above 50%. They have shot the ball well from three as well. This Cougars team is pretty solid and should give UNLV all that they can handle. Princeton shot very good last game but their defense looked terrible and let Duquesne score at will. San Francisco looks to be a great FT shooting team and those points should add up as San Francisco attacks the basket a lot against a weak Princeton team, resulting in plenty of FT opportunities. No Limit Play on Virginia -3 -110 The defending National Champion Virginia Cavaliers open their season against the Syracuse Orange. The Cavaliers open the season ranked #11 in the country. Virginia lost a few starters from last season but are still returning two solid core players in Mamadi Diakite and Braxton Key. Guard Kihei Clark isn't a big scoring threat but is the type of player who can run an offense and play solid defense around the perimeter. Syracuse actually lost more starters from last year than Virginia did, losing four from last season. One thing about a team like Virginia losing its core is that their team is very defensive based and efficient on both sides of the ball. That type of game can translate from year-to-year as opposed to some teams who are so one-player heavy. This Virginia team returns some key players from last season and can hop right into Coach Tony Bennett's scheme. As for Syracuse, losing four starters is a bigger blow for them than Virginia. The spread is low, but Virginia is still a team that can return to a Final Four this season with that defense. The Cavs cover to open the season.
