Playing Colorado tonight in Edmonton.

I will be backing Phoenix Tonight in Edmonton. Phoenix Is averaging 3.12 goals a game while Edmonton is giving up over 3.33 Goals a game. Phoenix controls every statistical category besides the penalty kill.


Coyotes are 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Edmonton.
Coyotes are 12-3 in the last 15 meetings.

Minnesota Wild -145. The Wild are the better team in this spot. They are one of the toughest teams to play on their home ice. Getting great value tonight.

I am taking Toronto tonight on the road in Buffalo. Toronto started the year out on fire and have cooled off. I think they start the climb back up the standings tonight in Buffalo. Yes Toronto has not faired well in Buffalo in the past but this is not the same Buffalo team. Buffalo has lost its last 5 games and lost 12 of its last 14 home games.

I am plainly backing the better team in this one.

I will be taking Chicago on the road tonight in Calgary. Chicago has revenge on their mind after losing 3-2 in OT on November 3rd in Chicago. Annti Raanta will be making his first NHL start for the Hawks and Marian Hossa will also be returning.

I see Chicago burying the Flames tonight in Calgary.

I will be backing Chicagop on the road this evening in Edmonton. We all know that Chicago is the much better team and Chicago is 15-7 as a fave and Edmonton is 4-13 as a dog. Edmonton can beat teams around their skill level but get destroyed against the really good teams.

I am playing Boston and Carolina to go under the total tonight. I know what past hostory says between these two teams but this is a new season. Rask is in net for Boston and Cam ward will be back in net this evening for Carolina.

Rask has a 1.68 GAA and the B's have always struggled in Carolina. I dont not see a high scoring affair this evening and will take the Under 5

I dont usually put out pucklines to clients but this is a must for me. You have one of the best teams in the league playing one of the worst at home.

Colorado is scoring 3.22 Goals a game and Florida is giving up 3.56 Goals a game. Colorado has the best defense in the league and Florida has the worst. Florida is also dead last in the league on the powerplay.

This game should be a blow out. 4-1,5-1 type game.

Colorado already has a pair of six-game win streaks on the young season, and if the Avalanche win Tuesday they'll be halfway to another one. They're first in the NHL in goals-against average (1.75), third on the penalty kill (88.5 percent) and fourth in goals per game (3.38). They're also the only team left undefeated when scoring the first goal, so the Hurricanes might want to grab the upper hand early.

This is the second and final meeting this season. The Avs won the first contest 4-2 in Colorado. Colorado is 6-0 so far on the road as well. Carolina is scoring just 1.88 goals a game but does put the puck on net which is Colorados one weakness so far.

Justin Peters is once again in net as borg Carolina starting Goalies are on IR. Add your best player in Jeff Skinner on IR and your best Defenseman on IR and I have to back one of the best teams in the league tonight on the road.

Taking this game early provided great value on this game. San Jose has had a hiccup over the last week but I believe tonight is when they get back on track. San Jose is a high powered machine scoring. They are #1 in the league in goals with 3.69 a game and putting up over 37 shots a game which is also #1 in the NHL. Winnipeg defense in those categories are 20 and 23. San Jose is also #1 in the league in power play chances

San Jose is 5-1 on the road and Winnipeg is 5-5 at home.

Clear advantage to the Sharks in this one.

I am playing the Tampa Bay Lightning at Home on Thursday night. Tampa Bay is 6-2-0 at home and the Oilers are 3-6-1 on the road. Tampa Bay has also won 7 of their last 9 while the Oilers have lost 5 of 6.

Edmonton has been decimated this season with injuries. Taylor Hall will be back in the line-up this evening but Edmonto has two starting defenseman out. Thats not good for a team who is giving up close to 4 goals a game. Another area where there is a substantial mismatch is on the powerplay. Edmonto is a measley 13.5% on the PP while Tampa is over 21%.

Goota go with Tampa at home in this one.

I am playing Pittsburgh on the road tonight against the Rangers at MSG. Pittsburgh is 11-4 on the season and the Rangers are 6-8. Marc Andre Fluery has looked very good to start to the season after being benched in the playoffs last year.

Pittsburgh is averaging 31.8 shots on goal a game and scoring 3.13 goals a game. Marc Andre Fluery is giving up a stingy 1.83 goals a game on the season while the Rangers are averaging only 1.86 goals a game.

I have to take Crosby,Malkin and Kunitz in this one over Richards and Stepan.

I am putting out a top play tonight on the St Louis Blues. I am seeing a ton of Value here and I know this one will continue to go up as the day goes on.

We already know that both of these teams have great goaltenders and both can put the puck in the net The problem for Montreal is that the Blues are averaging 3.58 goals a game and Montreal is giving up over 31 shots on goal. With the line changes in St Louis to create more productivity, I believe St Louis will come out firing tonight. This is Halak's second time back to Montreal since being traded and the last time he shut Montreal out.


Two good teams with two good Goalies. I just see a huge advantage for St Louis at this Value. Take St Louis on the road this evening.

Everything is this game points to The Wild. I really dont like laying this much chalk but it only matters if we lose and I do not believe this play will lose. As I said the other night, Minnesota is one of the toughest places in the NHL to play. New Jersey has been awful on the road going 1-5-1 and are averaging 2 goals a game. Harding has been ridiculous for the Wild with a GAA at 1.22.

Has there been a more brutal Hockey team then Buffalo? After trading there top goal scorer in Vanek away, you knew it was definately rebuilding going on in Buffalo. Buffalo has lost 13 of their first 15 games. The Ducks are scoring over 3 goals a game and putting 34 shots a game on Goal. Buffalo is scoring under a goal and a half a game and giving up 36 shots a game.

I am backing The Ducks in Buffalo.

Chicago continues to play like they left off last season. Chicago is one team in the NHL that it really doesnt matter if they play at home or on the road. Chicago had one tough loss in Minnesota but have been dominant on the road and I dont see that changing tonight. The Black Hawks are scoring 3.31 goals a game and getting the puck on net almost 35 times a game. Winnipeg has found it tough getting the puck in the net lately scoring a little over two goals a game while giving up 32 shots a game.

Chicago is 7-1-2 in their last 10 while Winnipeg is 3-5-2.

Taking the Wild at home tonight for our top play. Minnesota is one of the toughest places to play on the road. I thought Chicago could get it done last week but they couldnt. Harding will be in Net tonight and the Wild are giving up just 23 shots a game.

We will be backing the Lightning and fading Carolina again tonight. Justin Peters is back in net for the canes tonight with an 0-3 record and giving up over 3 goals a game. Tampa Bay is scoring 3 goals a game and Carolina is giving up over 30 shots.

I see Peters getting pelted tonight and that is why we took the over in this one as well.

San Jose has 1 thing on their minds tonight, REVENGE!. The Sharks are out for blood from the Kings after being ousted in the playoffs last season. LA lost in Phoenix last night and San Jose beat Ottawa in Ottawa on Sunday night.

San Jose is #1 in the NHL averaging 4 goals a game and they are #1 in shots as well averaging Close to 38 shots per game. San Joses Goal Differential is also 1.58 on the season. San Jose is 7-1 as a fave and LA is 0-2 as a dog.

I am backing San Jose in LA tonight.

I was surprised seeing Edmonton Favorite in this one. Toronto has been playing some great Hockey and have had great Goaltending. Edmontons Goaltending has been so bad that they had to bring Bachman up from the AHL. Edmonton is decimated with injuries and I do not see them slowing down this Maple Leafs Offense.

Not as hot on this pick at the price knowing Crawford is on the bench tonight. It is the Black Hawks at home where they rarely lose which is still a very big edge. Chicago is scoring over 3 goals a game and putting 34 shots a game on goal. Ottawa has struggled on defense this season ging up almost 37 shot on game.

I have to give the heavy edge to Chicago at home.

Martin Brodeur is bacn in the net tonight in New Jersey and he has been just brutal. Tampa Bay is one of the highest scoring teams in the league scoring 3.36 goals a game. Bishop has been great in net for the Lightning going 7-1 and giving up just 19 goals on the season.

Playing the Ducks in this one, Anaheim is scoring over 3 goals a game while Philly has had difficulty finding the net. I will take The Ducks at this price any day. Even on the Road

Pittsburgh is the better team here even without all the injuries in Carolina. Carolina has their top two goalies on IR and their top player in Jeff Skinner is also sidelined with an injury. Pittsburgh has struggled to put the puck in the net in their last 4 but that drought ends tonight against Peters. When you put guys like Crosby and Malkin against a third string goalie you should get the outcome you are looking for. Pittsbugh is averaging over 3 goals a game and they beat the Canes 5-2 in Pittsburgh.

I am backing Washington tonight once again on the road. On Oct 3rd in DC the Caps erased leads of 3-0 and 4-1 to come back and beat the Flames 5-4.

Both teams put a lot of shots on net but the Flames are giving up 3.60 goals a game so I am looking for Ovi to have a big night. The Caps are also hitting close to 30% on their Powerplay.

This is going to be a great game and I am backing the home team in this one. Minnesota is just not the same team on the road as they are on home ice. Backstrom states he is still not 100% but did well relieving Harding in the last game. This thing is he wasnt playing the high powered Chicago Offense who averages 3 goals and 34 shots per game.

I am Taking the under tonight in Colorado. I believe this be a lopsided affair with Ward being out but I dont believe the Avs will put up 6 goals tonight and I believe Varlamov can Pitch a shut out against this injury ridduled Canes team.

Colorado is giving up a measley 1.33 goals a game so I am laying my money tonight on the under here.


I love the Avs tonight but just dont want to lay the heavy chalk. I personally played them at -1 but that line is not available on the site

You have two teams in this one that surely do not play a lot of defense. With Ovie playing for the Caps and getting back to his prior production I have to back the Caps in this one. Edmonton is being plagued by the injury bug and is not the same team without Taylr Hall. Yes they beat Montreal on the road the other night but Montreal completely overlooked the Oilers. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead and thought they were going to coast. The Oilers are a young scrappy team but Washington has the experience and after a rough start is beginning to put it together.

Im backing the Caps on the road tonight

I just have to back the better team in this game. New Jersey is giving up over 3 goals a game and are having trouble putting the puck in the net. If they didnt put 4 goals in on the Rangers Saturday night they would be scoring a little over 1 goal a game. Vancouver has been really good going 3-1-1 on this road trip and has one more Game in St Louis before going home.

Ill take the Canucks on the road in this one.

Putting out the first Top Play of the week on the Detroit Red Wings.

Detroit is back at home tonight against a road weary Senators team. Ottawa has played the second fewest home games in the NHL this season. Detroit played the San Jose Sharks tough in their last outing losing 1-0 in a shoot-out. Jimmy Howard recorded his 17th career shut out against the highest scoring team in the NHL. Ottawa is giving up almost 40 shots a game which isnt a good sign against a high powered Wings team.


The big story of the night is Daniel Alfredsson playing against his former club. Alfie played 17 years in Ottawa and this should be a great match up for him.

Detroit is a tough arena to play in and I do not see this Wings team losing 3 games in a row. Red Wings have won 4 out of the last 5 from Ottawa.

I really dont like laying this much chalk but I simply feel its the best bet on the board. On paper this should be a lopsided affair but we know there are no locks.

Chicago comes in with a 5-1-2 Record and besides the penalty kill beats the Panthers in every category. I just do not see the Panthers being able to contain the physical nature of Chicago. Crawford has giving up a little over 2 goals a game While Thomas has giving up over 3 goals a game.

Lets roll with the Blackhawks tonight on the road.

The 7-0-1 Sharks go to Detroit tonight to face the 6-3-0 Detroit Red wings. We are backing the Sharks tonight with a great line. The Sharks are averaging almost 5 goals a game and shooting the puck at net over 40 times a game. Niemi has only giving up 15 goals in 8 games and will get the start tonight against Howard.

I know how tough it is to play Detroit at home but there is not a better scoring team in the NHL right now then San Jose.

You have two teams going in the right direction in this meeting. Anaheim was won their last 5 games and are undefeated so far at home going 3-0. Phoenix has also recorded points in their last 4.

Jonas Hiller is expected back in net for the Ducks tonight. He has been stellar so far on the season, going 3-0 and only giving up 4 goals. Anaheim is averaging over 3.5 goals a game and only giving up 2.3 goals a game. The one area the Ducks need to be compare is getting into the penalty box. The Yotes are scoring over 20% of the time on their power play.

Thursday Noght Thundar on the Ice

The NY Isles have lost their last 3 games by 1 goal. Edmonton comes in playing the 5th game in a row on the road and giving up over 4.5 goals a game.

I am backing the NY Isles tonight at home against a road weary team in Edmonton.

Tuesday Night Beatdown

We are playing the Nashville Predators tonight at home. We have two teams that are having a very difficult time finding the net. I believe Nashville will be the more physical team in this one and they have the better goalie in Rinne. When you have two teams struggling to score you have to back the home team in this sitaution.

Nashville has won 4 out of the last 5 meetings between clubs.

Both of these times have come out in 2013-14 ice cold. I believe both teams are much better then they are showing so far. Edmonton is going to be a great team with a lot of young talent but going on the road into Washington with Adam Oates being on the hot seat isnt a good fit for this young team. Edmonton is 1-7 straight up in their last 8 games going into Washington. Edmonton Goal-tending has also been horrendous so ook for the Caps to light the lamp at will in this one.
