Taking the Sox at home at almost even money.

We are beginning a long run starting tonight. I completely screwed up last night thinking the NHL playoff games were starting at 8 and when I came on at 635 I was locked out from releasing 7pm starts  . Tonight we begin a dominating run.

Lets take Wacha and the Cards on  the road in Cincy

Last MLB play for the night. I will take Verlander vs Minny as he was a MLB pitcher and knows Minny and the stadium well

This is a fade Mike Fiers spot. Fiers was brutal last year with a 5.22 ERA. With Lopez on the Mound today for the White Sox with his 1.50 ERA in his first start I see a very solid play here.

I know its high chalk but still taking the Yankees tonight. I would go RL but these 2 teams play to a lot of 1 run games.

Taking the Astros over the Orioles at home today.

We are locked into a 1-0 game in Detroit with the heart of the order coming up in the bottom of the ninth if they hold them. Its a cold blustery day in NY and this favors the Yankees by a wide margin. Tampa Bay has already struggled early on against lefties getting 1 hit.

Taking an early stab at Detroit today with a KC team who cant hit and lost 90% of their offense so far this season in Duda. Boyd struggled most of the season last year but had a good Sept and Spring. Hopefully a good outing today with get him back to 2016 form. 

Lets keep the momentum going today. Taking a road fave at low juice early in the year tonight. Clevinger ended 2017 lights out and I expect him to start 2018 the same way. Cleveland has owned this series and I see them disappointing the home faithful on opening night in LA. JC Ramirez will give up runs tonight against this Cleveland offense.

Line has steadily climbed and we will back the money and info on St Louis today. 

Dodgers offense didnt wake up last night but I see them getting the best of the Giants tonight. Its early in the season so Cueto will not go 5 or 6. Giants just do not have the firepower in my opinion.

Line is now being hit and I will back Sale all day less -200. 

No World Series hang over here. The Stros pick up right where they left off with Verlander on the mound.

I think tonight is basically the only game the Yankees will win. Should have stayed focused on MLB and released the Astros in game one and two but everyone knows my love of Hockey and how well we do that took my focus away. I have the Astros going to the WS but tonight they put their weak link up in Morton and the Yankees go with a rejuvinated CC. Basically a must win tonight for NY because if they lose this first game at home the series is simply over and everyone knows that. 

Lets Back the Yankees tonight in game 3 on home field.

I just simply have to go with the Indians at home tonight. Sonny Gray has done nothing since coming to the Yankees and even tho Bauer can be hit I simply trust him more then Gray. Cleveland is a great well balanced team with the Yankees more one dimensional needing to put up a lot of runs. The other big question is how will Judge do under pressure in the opponents ball park. Can he get over his strikeout problems in the post season. Honestly I dont even see him getting mush to hit tonight.

Backing the home team.

Line is going in Arizonas favor and we are going to follow the money. Greinke at home has been kryptonite going 13-1 with a 2.87 ERA. I do not see a repeat of last night in Yankee Stadium with Grienke getting hit hard early but even tho Jon Gray was really good down the stretch I think they can get to him. Have to back Goldy at home to win the NL wild card game.

We are going back to the well with Washington tonight. Gio pitched a great game last night but the Nats offense couldnt get anything going. I believe Washington can get to Leiter Jr early and often and hopefully Roark has enough in the tank. Harper had his first game back last night and went 0-2 so he at least saw some pitches to get his timing back.

I look to see Washington beat up only the Phillies tonight. 

I put my wager in now as Bryce Harper is likely to return tonight from a 6 week absence and will be hungry to play. Gio Gonzalez is having an amazing year being a top 5 pitcher in MLB going 15-7 with a 2.68 ERA. When Gio hits the mound you do not have to worry about what lineup the Nats put up tonight because Philly has had an impossible time hitting him. 

Jake Thompson has been pitching much better but he got crushed the last time out vs the Nats. While there is not usually much value the last week of the season I think this is a very good price on tonights game.

Gotta keep pounding down the stretch here in Baseball. Houston puts Verlander on the mound tonight against an Angels team that has lost 4 in a row and never had very good luck in Houston.

Bottom line is we already dropped the last 2 games on the Dbacks and we need to salvage the last game of the series just like the Dbacks do. Arizona throws their ace today in Ray who is already 4-0 against the Padres. We are throwing a top play pick on this which all know we dont do all that often. Lets get back on track today.

I know its juicy but I have to back Weaver tonight for the Cards. He has been awesome since his call up going 6-1 with a 1.89 ERA. On the opposite side we have another Rookie in Rookie Davis. Rookie Davis made the team in the Spring but was quickly sent back after 1-2 with a 7.58 ERA in 5 starts. I do not see this as a good opportunity to get on track after the Cards dropped one to the Reds last night.

Yes its juicy but we are still making a move on the Dbacks today. Not only have the Dbacks lost 2 in a row to a not so good San Diego team at the wrong time. The Padres send Travis Wood to the mound who is just what the DR ordered for Arizona. Godley has been pitching well for Arizona so he should give them what they need to prevent a sweep in San Diego. 

Line is climbing and I have to back the Dbacks this afternoon against a awful Giants team that has just about packed it in. Walker has been red hot and I look for him to shut down the Giants today.

Great opportunity tonight for The Rockies to stay on top in the playoffs with the Padres coming to town.

This will be are only play today as its probably the only one with any value. This time of the year we start getting into a lot of high chalk so we need to pick are spots wisely and find plays with value. I like Arizona tonight after they dropped the first game of the series last night to allow the Rockies to get closer in the wildcard race. Arizona sends Walker to the mound who has been terrific over his last 4 starts. Hes looked really good and really bad this season but has a 2-1 record vs the Rockies.

I am taking Arizona tonight as they have to grab the momentum in this series and not allow the Rockies to make up another game in the race. 

Taking CC and the Yankees on the road tonight in Tampa Bay.

Verlanders debut for the red hot Stros. Miranda is going to have to pitch a gem to get these bats out tonight and Verlander is going to show up now that he is on a contender.

Yes I know the Dodgers have lost 8 of 9 and the Dbacks have won 10 in a row. This is a perfect spot for the Dodgers as they return home to lick their wounds. The Dodgers have the best record in Baseball for a reason. The odds makers opened this higher then most people would believe and the line has climbed even with the money being 50-50.

I am looking for Hill to right the ship tonight at home.

Basically fading Nolasco against this Houston offense. Nolasco has pitched better but his team has put up runs for him. They are going to have to put up a lot today to keep pace with the Astros and I believe Morton wont allow it.

Going to continue betting against the Padres on the road. Travis Wood has been great at home going 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA since being traded. His issues come on the road were he is 0-4 with a 7.19 ERA. He has been equally as bad in his career versus the Marlins going 1-3 with an ERA near 8.00. 

On the other side of the mound Conley has pitched well with his best outing coming last Sunday fanning 11 against the Mets. 

Outside of a young Margot who does San Diego have? Ill take the Stanton and Ozuna duo anyday. 

Taking this early as I only see this line going up. Arrieta has been absolutely terrific over the last 2 months going 6-2 with a 2.00 ERA. Romano hasnt been very good at all for the Reds and with the Cubs bats coming alive down the stretch we should cash this ticket early.

Yes its chalky but its St Louis is getting in must win mode after dropping their last 3. Weaver is a very good pitcher but he needs to stop trying to strike everyone out. If he can learn to throw ground ball pitches the kid is a star in the making.

I really like Minnesota tonight as they fight to stay in position in the wildcard race. To me this is a must win as they play the worst team in the AL and the second worst team in all of Baseball. Yes I know this logic backfires quite a bit but Giolito is making his first big league start since being aquired by the White Sox. Giolito got called up for 1 start last season for the Nationals and got rocked pretty good. Watched him in AAA Charlotte this season and he is still quite raw.

Lets back the Twinkies on the road tonight.

Theres not a better home team in Baseball and the Sox just took 2 out of 3 in NY even thou it could have quite easily been a sweep if not a bullpen melt down last Friday night. 

Line has dropped like a rock so lets take the dog price on the Dbacks. Corbin has pitched well down the stretch and Fiers has been brutal. I see the Dbacks bats pounding him this afternoon and Corbin is good enough to get outs.

Porcello has struggled after winning the Cy last year but he has put together 2 solid starts in a row. If he could stop giving up Home Runs he would even be better but he has struggled in that area all season. The way the Sox have been swinging the bat and with Leake on the road who has been rattled in his last 3 starts this should be all Boston at home.

We are going with Baltimore today on the road against Graveman. This is a cheap price and a good spot for the Orioles.

Taking Minnesota on the road tonight vs Detroit. 

We are backing Adam Wainwright and the Cards tonight at home over the Atlanta Braves. Wainwright has been magnificent after early season struggles winning 11 of his last 13 starts. Foltynewicz has also been very good but got rocked for 7 runs the last time he faced the Cards.   

Lets back St Louis at home tonight.

Line is moving in our favor as Seattle fights for that wild card birth. Seattle has picked up Yonder Alonso who should add some pop to this lineup and Miranda who has pitched very well who is on the mound. Gravemans first start off the DL didnt go as planned, pulled in the thirs after giving up 8 hits and 7 runs.

Back the Mariners tonight. 

This is basically a good home team vs a bad road team. Bundy has almost a 5 ERA on the road and Baltimore is 11--26 in their last 37 road games. JC Ramirez has been very good in his last 3 starts with a sub 2 ERA. Lets back the Halos at home tonight.

Yes I know big juice but Richard has been absolutely terrible. Taillon has struggled but is the much better pitcher.

Going with Miami as a dog tonight over a collapsing Braves team. Conley has been terrific on the road so I have to back him tonight at this price

Line has moved in or favor with Atlanta going with their ace today who has owned the Phillies in both starts this season. 

Need to go with Cole on the road over Richard who has been getting rocked.

Taking Seattle at home tonight as the NY Mets continue their 10 game road trip. Yesterday the Mets traded Duda away and who knows who is next to go but most likely Jay Bruce who is the center of their lineup behind Conforto. The Mets are falling out of the hunt and this is a perfect time to bet against them.

Taking Miami at home tonight.

Simple on this one as I am following the lines makers. Davies has been very good but Milwaukee is falling losing 7 of their last 8. The Washington Senators are soaring winning 7 of 9 since the AS break.  Edwin Jackson pitched well last time out just giving up 2 solo Homers.

I am backing the red hot Sens at home.

Little higher then I wanted to go on this one but I believe it will continue to climb. degrom has been lights out as of late going deep into games. Richard Got blasted last time out and hasnt been pitching well at all. Lets take the mets on the road tonight.

Line has come down but I will still back KC over the visiting White Sox. Derek Holland has been awful after a very hot start to the season and the WS offense is non existent. 

Going to get this one now as it will be at least -150. Houston has the most explosive offense in Baseball and Jimenez with his 7.01 ERA will be lit up like a Christmas tree tonight.  For Houston Friers is throwing some great ball. 2.50 ERA in his last 9 starts and struck out 11 his last time out against the Twins.

Lets lay the Stros tonight.

Pittsburgh is playing really good ball right now and we look for them to finish the sweep on Milwaukee in this early contest. We are looking for Taillon to rebound from his last outing at home.

I know its Juicy but we have to back Arizona again tonight over Cincy with Greinke on the mound. Adleman has not pitched well at all as of late.

Adleman has lost his last three starts, posting a 6.91 ERA over that stretch. The 29-year-old struggled in his first start of the second half, allowing five runs and seven hits over 4 1/3 innings to Washington. Adleman lost at Arizona on July 7 in his first career meeting with the Diamondbacks, giving up four runs (three earned) over five frames.

This one has climbed and I believe for all the right reason. Arizona is playing very good Baseball right now and Ray is coming off his best performance of the season. Lets ride the Dbacks tonight. 

Taking Vargas tonight over the Tigers

Yes this juice is high but this Astros team is what I expected last year and didnt get. This team can hit and they can hit at home. Even tho Berrios is on the mound I do not see them giving him the run support to keep up. Lay the Stros. 

Lets continue to dominate the MLB and go with the Dbacks tonight. Walker has been very very good since coming back from the DL and I see that continuing tonight against a Reds team that has issues hitting the ball. With Walker only giving up 8 runs in his last 5 games as well, this should be a very difficult night for Red batters.

Not a lot of action on the board today but I believe Minnesota is a solid pick at home. When Gallardo goes to the mound for Seattle you have to go against him. 0-3 with a 10.42 ERA in his last 4 starts and 2-6 with a 6.26 ERA on the year. 

Cheap price here to back Cain over Turley in his debut.

Price is high but it has climbed steadily since release. Backing the Pirates to get the split in the series.

Bounce back night when the Red Sox return home. Red Sox just lost 2 of 3 in NYC with the ability to take over first place. Pedroia is expected to be activated tonight and JBJ and Sandoval have to wake up getting back home. Brian Johnson returns to the mound who was stellar before his handstring injury and did well in AAA Pawtucket before getting the nod back in the big league.
