Tulane is led by their two-headed monster in quarterback Michael Pratt, who led the AAC in passer efficiency and found the end zone a total of 35 times via the pass and rush. The other threat for the Green Wave has been running back Tyjae Spears who has 15 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Michigan vs. TCU Under

We're on the Under here as Michigan and TCU clash in the first of the two semi final games. 

Both Michigan and TCU love to control the clock. In Michigan's case, they ranked 7th in the nation in rushing as they put up 243 per game on the ground in the 2022 season. Being in this spot last year, they know they cannot have this kind of game turn into a track meet or they will get ran off the field again. Look for Michigan to establish this run game early, chewing clock and sustaining drives. 

On TCU's side, they went under in 4 of their last 5 games this season. They have one of the best defenses in the entire nation and offensively they will have a tough time moving the ball against this Michigan front.

Ohio vs. Wyoming Over 

The Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl pins the MAC against the MWC and we're playing the Over on this lower total here.

Both of these teams are going to show out here. Given the bowl game and the sponsor even, you know both teams are going to be excited to be here. 

Wyoming has been a regular participant in bowl season and they have been a solid Over backing when it comes to games in December. They have cashed the Over in 5 of the last 6 bowl games, which includes a big number against a MAC school last season when they beat Kent in the Idaho Potato Bowl. Wyoming won't be shy about what they do when it comes to their solid rushing attack, but they wear teams down and aren't shy about working in some play action deep passes.

Ohio averaged nearly 32 points per game this season, but injuries to their starting QB did derail them down the stretch of the season in the MAC Championship. However, they still have plenty of playmakers and we saw QB CJ Harris put up a 38 spot in their regular season finale against Bowling Green.

Notre Dame vs. South Carolina Over 

We're on the Over here as we get two teams who really finished the season with momentum. 

Notre Dame was one of the most dangerous teams down the stretch of the season as they were rattling wins off left and right up until they ran into the USC buzzsaw. However, they'll turn to Tyler Buchner now to take the snaps after seeing Drew Pyne enter the transfer portal. Buchner was the starter at the beginning of the season prior to his injury, but he is itching to get himself out there and showcase why he can be the guy going forward for this Fighting Irish side. 

South Carolina capped their season off with back to back wins over Tennessee and Clemson, two games that really put this team on the map. They put up 63 points on Tennessee and 31 on Clemson, as this offense is in stride right now. 

Both sides had issues defensively at times too here in 2022, which benefits us for this Over. You're going to see two teams with two completely open playbooks, not afraid to take their shots down the field.

The Jayhawks has a rough end to their season, going 1-6 through their last seven tries. They played all but two of those games without starting quarterback Jalon Daniels who has a terrific start to the year before missing the middle portion of the season with an injury. He's back and expected to pump his legs as he did through eight games where he ran for six rushing touchdowns. Daniels also put up 13 passing majors through seven games this season.

Even with a 6-6 record Arkansas' KJ Jefferson recorded 29 touchdowns overall with 22 coming via the pass. The Razorbacks have a balanced offence this season, averaging over 220 yards via the pass and also the rush.

Some trends to note, Kansas averaged 34.2 points points on the board per game while allowing 33.8 against. For Arkansas, they put up 30.7 points per contest while their defence allowed 28.8 against.

Over 64

East Carolina is coming off 49-46 win against Temple where quarterback Holton Ahlers threw for three touchdowns while being sacked just once. The Pirates have a strong offensive line that is top 20 in sacks allowed which has allowed running back Keaton Mitchell to rack up 1,325 yards on the ground and to run in 13 touchdowns. Their run game is 20th in the nation in terms of yards per carry. They're averaging 30.8 points per game on offence while allowing 27.0 against on the board.

According to a recent social media post by QB Grayson McCall, he'll play in this bowl game. McCAll is coming off a monster game for the Chanticleers against Troy in the Sun Belt Championship where he rattled off 3 passing TDs while running in for a fourth. With him, Coastal Carolina is averaging 29.1 points on the board while allowing 30.1 back the other way.

Some trends to note, Coastal Carolina has covered the over in their last three straight while the Pirates have done so in two of their last three.

The University of South Alabama enters this contests with a pretty balanced offence. Under center they have quarterback Carter Bradley with his 10 touchdowns in his last three games and then there's La'Damian Webb who has 13 majors on the ground this year. They're averaging over 250 yards in the air and over 150 rushing yards per game this season.

Western Kentucky is lucky to have QB Austin Reed back after withdrawing his name from the transfer portal. Reed is second in the nation with 4,247 passing yards, fourth in touchdowns with 36 and has 14 majors in his last four games alone. On offence, they're averaging 339.0 yards through the air this season.

Some trends to note, this year the Jaguars are averaging nearly 32.0 points per game while the Hilltoppers are averaging 35.8 on the board.

Senior running back Samson Evans could be the game-breaker for the Eagles with his 1,084 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground this season. He has seven scores in his last four outings.

Washington State vs. Fresno State Over

The Over has value here in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl. Both of these teams have two solid QBs who aren't afraid to let the ball play. We saw that many times with both offenses, who showed the ability to put up some big numbers. 

We should also see some tempo from both sides as well. Given their ability to sustain drives and hit some deep balls, the momentum will be swinging both ways on Saturday. Washington State ranked 25th in the nation in pass yards, while the Bulldogs sat at 27th. That certainly bodes well for us to see some points,

Oregon State has scored at least 38 points in 3 of their last 5 contests while putting up at least 31 in 4 of their last 5. QB Ben Gulbranson has become more mobile in the last few games with 4 rushing scores over the last 3 contests.

Two offense that love to use a lot of tempo meet on Saturday. 

Ohio State's offense is one of the best in the nation as they love to fire away. After putting up a huge number against Indiana, they're poised to do the same against a Maryland defense that has allowed 381 yards per game this year. 

Maryland knows their offense is going to have to open the playbook here as well in this matchup. With how quickly Ohio State can score, if Maryland has any chance to pull of an upset, they have to open things up.

The Over here has value in this one. 

Houston has one of the best offenses in the nation, but their defensive efforts have been a struggle. Coming into play on Saturday, the Coogs have averaged 37.4 points per game while conceding 36 points. ECU has a solid offense as well entering play, putting up 31.8 points themselves. 

Look for this game to feature a lot of big plays and scoring chances both ways, adding value to this Over.

Northwestern has lost 9 straight and their offence has lacked a spark all year. They're averaging just 15.3 which is the fourth least in the country while giving up just under 30 against. The Wildcats haven't scored a passing touchdown in each of their last two games and won't contribute much on the board here.

Quarterback Aidan O'Connell is coming off a Purdue win that saw him complete three passing touchdowns against one of the best defensive teams in Illinois. While they're averaging nearly 30 points and are expected to do the bulk of the scoring, if not all, the Boilermakers won't hit the over on their own.

That's because of the two-headed monster in the back field of Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson who have combined for 18 rushing scores.

They should be able to utilize their speed on this Stanford defense, as Bo Nix and company are playing with a ton of confidence.

This has the makings of a shootout.

Both offenses have had a ton of success thus far into the season and they haven't showed any signs of slowing down. 

Fresno State loves to play with tempo and that will be something they'll focus on here as they know they'll have to score against USC. Look for them to really open the playbook here and take shots down field as this secondary has been exposed at times.

As for the Trojans, they've had zero issues moving the ball offensively. Fresno State's defense has been a struggle and will be on their heels all night long.

FSU also went over 200 yards in the air and that was just in week 1.

LSU averaged 26.5 points last season but that number would have been higher had Kayshon Boutte stayed healthy. Before an ankle injury sidelined him, the wide-out made 38 catches for 509 and 9 touchdowns in just six games.

Ball State has been notorious for putting up good fights against Power 5 teams. This is a case of two teams who have a lot of work to do. Both sides offer new coaches and a whole complement of new players.

Tulane vs. SMU Over 70.5

Here we get two offenses that can put up numbers. 

SMU comes in a perfect 6-0 and this offense has been torching teams. Averaging 513 yards per game overall, the Mustangs are putting up 40.7 points per game. That will end up well for them on Thursday as they take on a defense that ranks 127th in the nation in points against.

On the Tulane side, they know they have to score given how bad their defense is. This offense averages 33 points themselves and loves taking shots down field.

This is an Over play in the Sun Belt on Wednesday.

For starters, this App State offense is going to want to bounce back and do it in a big way. They were knocked around last week by Louisiana in every which way. This team is one of the best in the conference despite that awful performance last week and they are going to come out firing here.

Coastal Carolina has one of the best offenses you'll see too. Look for them to torch the App State secondary as we should see this one feature a lot of scoring both ways.

This has the makings of a very low scoring game.

Iowa comes in off their biggest win in quite some time as they are poised for a spot in the BCS Playoff as they control their own destiny. With the high of a win over Penn State and now taking on a bit of lesser competition, the Hawkeyes could come out flat in this one. 

As for Purdue, they are upset minded as they had a bye week to prep for this. They have seen the Under hit in all 5 of their games thus far and will look to slow the tempo down here.

Ole Miss has came out of the gates just absolutely firing on all cylinders. Heisman Trophy front runner Matt Corral has made quite the name for himself after this offense has put up 52.7 points per game. Lane Kiffin knows how to compete with Saban and will have this team ready.

Alabama meanwhile, still is one of the best in almost everything. They average 46.5 points themselves, but defensively had a ton of issues against Florida. Look for that to be the same here, as this one can turn into quite the shootout.

These two teams are prepped for a high scoring game on Saturday. 

Both of these offenses have been very high powering as they have lit up the scoreboard through the first four weeks.

Houston has came out of the gates hot, as they have won 3 straight overall. Meanwhile, Tulsa has been playing extremely well on the offensive end themselves. 

They racked up 663 yards against Arkansas State last week, which comes after a 501 yard performance against the Buckeyes the previous week. 

Both sides have explosive playmakers, which could turn this into a shootout.

Texas Tech vs. Texas Over 62

The Red Raiders and Longhorns renew their rivalry and the Over on Saturday is a nice play.

Both of these teams have great offenses and very sub par defenses. Both Matt Wells and Steve Sarkisian are play callers who love to take chances and rack up points.

Thus far, the Red Raiders have produced 40.0 points per game, while the Longhorns are right there at 39. Whenever these two teams meet, the points seem to rack up. The last 3 matchups have combined to see 75 points, 73 points, and 119 points.

Both of these teams love to run the ball, which is a nice edge for expecting a lower total of points. They typically will chew a lot of clock and that will play right into our hands here.

Combine that with Syracuse's defense and the value there in this spot. Syracuse will be the best defense Liberty has seen to this point.

Fresno State vs. UCLA Over 62.5

Both of these teams like to play with some tempo and will take their shots down field. With that in mind, this Over has value Saturday night.

Fresno State hasn't backed down from anyone. They nearly beat Oregon and have thrown up a lot of points through their first three games. The defense has been suspect, which gives this Over even more value.

UCLA dominated LSU and moved the ball with a lot of success already. With Chip Kelly's style, the Over is always worth a shot with them.

Kansas vs. Coastal Carolina Over 52

We're on the Over here on Friday night. 

Kansas is still on a high after they stormed the field in their win over South Dakota to open the season. It was their first win in over a year. However, they are going to have their hands full with Coastal Carolina on Friday.

This team plays fast and can put up some big plays quickly. Look for the Kansas secondary to get torched in this one. With that in mind, Kansas will have to take their shots, which can turn this one into a wide open game.

Louisville vs. Ole Miss Under 74.5

This total is very high and there are some solid circumstances to expect a lower scoring game.

Ole Miss will be without Lane Kiffin, which is a huge blow for them. They will turn to one of their assistants for the playacting and that should alter a lot of their strategy. They'll call a much more conservative game, helping this Under out.

As for both teams, they should improve from last season the defensive side. With some players getting some experience underneath them, this will have the makings of a slower played game with both sides having to grind their way down the field.

LSU vs. UCLA Over 64.5

This has the makings of a sneaky good game. UCLA's offense showed they can move the ball and put together some solid drives as they throttled Hawaii in Week 0. 

Meanwhile, LSU has high hopes after an abysmal campaign last season that saw them struggle on the defensive side of the ball. Their defense doesn't look to get any better here either, adding value to this over. 

Look for both sides to have some explosive plays and take a lot of chances against the opposing secondaries.

ECU vs. App State Over 55.5

This is a lower number than expected here.

Appalachian State averaged 34 points per game last year and returned a lot of the offensive pieces that led them to that average. While they did lose their QB, they have a nice replacement in Duke transfer Chase Brice who can step right into this offensive attack.

Meanwhile, East Carolina was right there offensively. They put up 30.2 points and they also boasted one of the worst defenses in the nation.

North Carolina vs. Texas A&M Over 65

The Over has value here.

North Carolina has been an over machine this season. Defensively, they are one of the worst in the nation, while their offense has bailed them out on numerous occasions. 

The Over hit in 5 of the last 7 for the Tar Heels as they averaged 43 points offensively. 

This is has the makings of a back and forth game, given the pace both teams like to play with too. Expect plenty of shots down field and for them to work with a lot of no huddle here.

Clemson vs. Ohio State Over

The nightcap of the BCS Playoff pins what has become a rivalry. 

Clemson and Ohio State have become frequent visitors in the playoff, getting pinned against one another. The Over here has nice value.

Clemson and Trevor Lawrence have been clicking all season long. This offense has beat numerous defenses and throttled them from start to finish in games. Ohio State’s defense has been a struggle at times and will have plenty of issues.

As for Ohio State, they have to open the playbook. They’ve failed against Clemson in the past because of playcalling. Expect them to open things up and for fields to take his shots down field in this one.

Notre Dame vs. Alabama Over

The first of two playoff games sets the scene with Alabama and Notre Dame.

We saw Clemson pick apart Notre Dame’s defense in the ACC title game and Alabama should be able to do wonders here. They’re bigger and stronger than this Fight Irish team and should be able to get a huge push up front.

The good news for Notre Dame is that Alabama’s defense has it’s flaws. We saw Florida rack up a ton of points and Notre Dame can take note there. Expect them to turn the tempo and aggressiveness up here.

Florida vs. Oklahoma Over 67

This one has the makings to be an exciting matchup.

Florida gave Alabama everything they could handle and then some in the SEC Championship Game. The Gators losses to A&M and LSU this season were thanks to their defensive letdowns. They hold one of the worst defenses in the conference and even in the nation when it comes to slowing teams down. 

Oklahoma is going to have a field day here, which in turn should make Florida have to score. 

With both teams averaging over 40 points per game, we should see plenty of scoring chances form both sides.

Memphis vs. Florida Atlantic Over 51

The Over here has nice value to work with.

Memphis is going to have their way with this FAU defense. The Tigers have racked up 452.3 yards per game this season which has led them to 31.6 points per contest. Florida Atlantic just allowed Southern Miss to drop 45 on them heading into this game, leaving to wonder how many Memphis can drop on them. 

FAU meanwhile will have their chances as well. Memphis boasts the 102nd total ranked defense in the nation and struggles to slow opposing teams down every week.

Georiga Southern vs. Louisiana Tech Over 48

This total is too low to pass up on.

Georgia Southern may be a run first team, but they will have plenty of success against a Bulldogs defense that struggles against the run. LT ranks 88th in the nation against the rush, as they struggle to slow opposing teams down with big plays. 

Combine that factor with Louisiana Tech averaging 29.3 points per game and we should see both both offenses create scoring opportunities.

Central Florida vs. BYU Over 75.5

The Over here on Tuesday night has nice value.

This has the makings to be one of the more entertaining of the bowl games this season.

Both teams are explosive and we should see that here in this one. 

Looking at UCF first, this offense put up 587 yards per game and averaged 44.3 points. They love to play quick and will push the tempo on BYU knowing they'll need to score.

BYU is right there with them. Averaging 512 yards per game, the Cougars sit right behind UCF with 43 points per contest. 

Look for both teams to have plenty of scoring opportunities in this one.

Oregon vs. USC Over 63.5

The Over here has nice value to work with on Friday.

Oregon got in by default here as Washington has been dealing with a covid spike within their program. 

They are out to prove they can compete with the best and should be able to find some success offensively here. Oregon plays quick and USC has struggled at times on defense. Combine that factor with the Trojans' ability to rack up points quickly and we should see both teams finding themselves in scoring chances.

Look for this to be a back and forth affair, given the firepower both teams have.

This a low total and rightfully so. 

Both of these teams love to establish the run game and lean heavily on their defenses. Coming into play on Saturday, Wisconsin is giving up just just 292 yards per game which is first in the nation. They're also ranked first in rush and pass yards against, along with being 2nd in the nation in points against. 

Iowa meanwhile ranks 15th in the nation in total defense. They aren't far off talent wise there and should be able to control this Wisconsin offense that has struggled lately.

Texas A&M vs. Auburn Under 48.5

The Aggies and Tigers have value on the Under here.

This is a game of two teams that love to rely on their defense. Unfortunately for Auburn, they were just blitz by Alabama last week. This will be a much better test for them, especially given the struggles that the Aggies have had.

Texas A&M has been all out of sync and has had plenty of issues moving the ball.

Look for these teams to really establish a run game and work the clock, helping this Under out.

Kentucky vs. Florida Over 60.5

The Over here has nice value to work with. 

Florida has one of the top offenses in the nation being led by a Heisman Trophy candidate. Kyle Trask has thrown for 2554 yards this season and has led this Gator's offense to 44.7 points per contest. Look for them to have plenty of success here against the Wildcats' defense, that has conceded a lot of big plays this season.

Kentucky should also have some success against this Gators' defense. Last week we saw Vandy move the ball against them as they have a lot of gaps.

Both of these defenses have struggled at the outset of 2020.

Indiana vs. Ohio State Over 

The Hoosiers and Buckeyes play in what is a surprising Top 10 matchup. 

This is not only Ohio State's chance to prove they easily belong in the playoff, but it is also Indiana's chance to showcase they are a real Top 10 team.

This is going to be a back and forth battle. Both defenses have struggled this year, while their offenses have flourished. 

Ohio State is putting up 46 points a game, while Indiana is at 33 per contest. Expect both teams to play very aggressively which benefits this Over tremendously.

This has the chance to turn into a shootout here. 

Ball State has cashed in the Over both times this season with 38-31 games. They have found a lot of offensive production, while the defense has yet to stop pretty much anyone. 

While NIU did struggle last week against a good CMU defense, they still managed to put 30 points up on Buffalo earlier this season. 

Combine this with the Over hitting in 7 of the last 9 for NIU and they should be opening up the playbook a little bit more against this defense.

Toledo vs. EMU Over 61 

Toledo and EMU battle on Wednesday night and the Over has value to work with here.

Toledo's offense has had zero issues early on this season scoring. They have put up 38 points per game thus far and they've been able to do it thanks to the their ability to wear teams down with the run and open up the pass game.

Defensively though, things have been horrendous for them. They allow 41 points to WMU last week, which included a pair of late touchdowns. 

Eastern Michigan racked up plenty of yards against Ball State and should be able to find a lot of gaps in this Toledo secondary.

Eastern Michigan vs. Ball State Over 61

The Over here has value to work with. 

Both of these teams have the ability to put up points on opposing defenses. 

They both struggled in Week 1 as they were unable to slow down the opposition's run game and pass attack. That should be the case once again here as these offenses have the ability to put together some big yardage plays. 

Also take note here that EMU has been a nice over backing on the road. They have cashed the Over in 6 of their last 7 road games. Combine that with Ball State hitting the Over in 7 of their last 8 home games and this is a nice value spot.
