Green Bay at Detroit 8:15 ET Packers (+) over Lions- On a weekly basis with or without them playing well or not I have felt that this the Lions year. Not since Bobby Lane and Doak Walker appeared in four Championship games in six season has Detroit had this kind of talent. If these cats make it to the Super Bowl it will be their first appearance ever. It is getting difficult to keep the faith they way they have lost top impact defensive players that will be difficult to replace. To be in love with the Packers quarterback is a stretch right now as Jordan has not measured up to the personal level what many had hoped for and expected this season. Still, defense, running the ball and not turning it over will be a key. The Lions have tied the franchise record for wins for a season and it is a 17-game season with five more to go as they stand alone a top of the NFC standings. Baltimore at L.A. Chargers 8:15 ET Chargers (+) over Ravens- It bothers me a bit that the Ravens are favored in the match-up as Los Angeles is coming into this fray with four straight wins and the Ravens are off a 18-16 loss at Pittsburgh following a. Baltimore’s two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has 25 TD passes and just three interceptions but the Ravens will be without the NFL co-leader in tackles middle linebacker Roquan Smith and I think that is a huge loss. Black-birds have won the last four regular season meetings with the Chargers winning 23-17 the one time they met in the wildcard game in 2018. Harbough versus Harbough coaching makes for great storyline except neither of these guys are very exciting but the both can coach. Chargers 4-1 SU at home and Monday night should help the home 11. Kansas at BYU 10:30 ET Jayhawks (+) over Cougars- I hope that I am not chasing my tail with this one but it can not be helped as their are so many factors that give me Kansas. Last week I was freaked out by the Jayhawks who was 2-6 was just a +2.5 underdog to a 7-1 Iowas State that I deemed it m “don’t Make Sense’ Game of the Year. Well, see more of he same here with the undefeated Cougars (9-0) at home favored by the same 2.5 points. I feel the same way about this game as I did last week with one trepidation...all the sharp people in Las Vegas are all on the Jayhawks and this game may have attracted too much attention. Regardless...take KANSAS!

As far as this rivalry is concerned it hasn’t been competitive as the Mavericks have won the last five meetings and 9-of-10 straight-up but just 3-6-1 ATS. In those meetings the total has gone over eight times. The Mavericks have dropped four straight the last three of which were on the road, they return home and take it out on the young Spurs. Bulldogs scored just 10 points against Megabucks winner Mississippi last week their lowest point total since week one 2021. Vol’s defense has yet to allow 20 points but have not played the same level of competition. Take GEORGIA!

At 7-3 the Tigers can be respected but disappointment surrounds the program and doubts about Brian Kelly are circulating in the alumni and media. But, job speculation is more of concern for Florida’s Billy Napier who at 4-5 is on the hot seat. Tigers have won and covered the past five meetings He can get off that seat at least for awhile with a win here. Take FLORIDA!
