Chicago at Philadelphia 4:40 ET

Eagles (-) over Bears - One of my good friends and a great sports better has told me for weeks that Chicago is a fraud and this is the game that they will be exposed. Reviewing the Bears wins we have to admit they have been very fortunate and could and possibly should be at .500 or below. Philadelphia has been laying low and really not showing much trying to keep Barkley healthy for the playoffs. I am looking for the Eagles to fly over the Bears here and soar to a huge win (sorry about all that). Just take PHILADELPHIA!

Iowa at Nebraska 12:00 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeyes - I can’t really explain how much I like the Cornhuskers here. It is just the way the game sets up with Iowa bowl bound playing well enough to cover 7-of-8 while dropping two heartbreaking games to USC and Oregon the Hawkeyes bounced back with a game winning field goal at the final gun. The Hawkeyes played to the max and left so much on the field that another road game will be very challenging. Iowa has won 10 of 14 meetings since the Nebraska joined the Big Ten but they are in a tough spot here. Huskers off of a beat down by Penn State and will recover here. Take NEBRASKA!

Providence vs Wisconsin 5:30 ET

Friars (+) over Badgers - With two straight wins under their belts including a 77-65 win over Penn State a week ago Providence is looking to regain previous stature. Wisconsin was sailing along at 4-0 and then ran into BYU and the Cougars destroyed the Badgers 98-70. When a team that is undefeated losses for the first time their confidence takes a hit. The Badgers weak point is their shooting percentage and for the Friars shooting is their strong points as they lead the Big East in FT percentage at nearly 80%. Take PROVIDENCE!

Kansas City at Dallas 4:30 ET

Chiefs (-) over Cowboys - How ‘bout dem Cowboys’….yeah they are starting to look like a football team coming from behind from a 21-0 deficit to the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and that has them flying high. But, now they will host Kansas City who is aware of how important the game is for their playoff survival. To me it’s Mahomes heads up against Prescott…enough said. Take KANSAS CITY!

North Carolina vs Michigan State 4:30 ET

Tar Heels (+) over Spartans - Two undefeated power houses who have won multiple National Championships meet in the Fort Myers, Florida. No. 11 Michigan State (6-0) won the last meeting between these two 94-91 in overtime at No. 16 North Carolina in an earlier meeting the same season it was the Tar Heels 85-69 in the NCAA tourney. Heels have won seven of nine meetings and are 7-2 ATS as well. Take NORTH CAROLINA!

Green Bay at Detroit 1:00 ET

Packers (+) over Lions - This is not the same Detroit team that you are thinking of because that team is long gone. This club just does not have the same offensive intensity as the past two seasons. Green Bay has not allowed more than 20 points in any of their past four games and have posted tow wins in a row. They held the Lions to 246 yards in their opening week win. They do it again! Take GREEN BAY!

Gonzaga vs Michigan 9:30 ET

Wolverines (+) over Zags - A pair of undefeated ranked teams hook up in Las Vegas where No. 12 Gonzaga (7-0) is favored over No. 7 Michigan (6-0) . This seems a bit odd considering how big Michigan won yesterday over Auburn 102-72. The Wolverines are tough on defense holding opponents to 34.5% shooting from the floor. Take MICHIGAN!

St. John’s vs Auburn 8:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Redmen - Both of these clubs will be in the mix before the year ends, and yet just a few weeks into the season Auburn and St. John’s both have a pair of losses. That is because unlike college football, the NCAA BK Tournament does not punish teams for scheduling tough opponents therefore it is difficult to remain undefeated too long. There has been a changing of the guard at Auburn and if the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree the Tigers should be in decent shape with Steven Pearl at the helm, he is of course Bruce Pearls son. Take AUBURN!

Kansas vs. Tennessee  7:00 ET

Jayhawks (+) over Volunteers - In this mini in season Players Era tournament has left both Tennessee and Kansas on the outside looking in because of point differential tie-breakers. Tennessee just defeated No. 1 Houston 76-73 and bring their 7-0 mark into this third lace consolation game in Las Vegas. The Vols did their thing taking out the Cougars and get caught patting themselves on the back. I expect a huge drop in intensity. Take KANSAS!

Detroit at Boston 5:00 ET

Celtics (+) over Pistons - This will be the second meeting of the season between these tow clubs one of which is on the rise  and the other is falling fast. Detroit won 119-133 at home in last October and are 15-2 while Boston at 9-8 is exactly where most felt they wold be after contending for the NBA title the last decade…those days are gone. The Celtics had eight straight wins over the Pistons until their final meeting  last season and their first meeting this year and they get that mojo back tonight. Take BOSTON!

LA Clippers at LA Lakers 11:00 ET

Clippers (+) over Lakers - And they were doing so well…the Lakers that is and now the return of LeBron James can only help or not. Los Angeles the team with the storied history has change their tempo and were moving the ball up the court quicker and were playing at a faster pace than they had played when Lebron ran the show. Without King James LA has looked good and they defeated the Clip’s in the last three meetings. With LeBron as a facilitator and strong arm man they may actually be a true contender. The Clippers enter 5-12 both SU and ATS and have dropped four of five, with 36 year old 16 year veteran James Harden scoring a franchise record 55 points in their win against Charlotte. That tells you something about this franchise. But, there should be an overreaction to LeBron’s return. Take LA CLIPPERS!

Michigan vs Auburn 8:30 ET

Wolverines (-) over Tigers - These two clubs met in last year’s NCAA Tournament Sweet-15 and Auburn as a 9-point favorite defeated the Wolverines 78-65. Michigan had a terrible shooting night as the Tigers pulled away in the second half.  The Wolves are 5-0 and are playing tough defense holding San Diego State to 27.4% shooting while Auburn has suffered a 73-72 loss to No. 1 Houston and will taste defeat for the second time tonight. Take MICHIGAN!

Gonzaga at Alabama 9:30 ET

Bulldogs (-) over Crimson Tide - This match-up is part of the Player’s Era tournament in Las Vegas which should give the No. 13 ranked Gonzaga a bit of advantage as far as the feeling of crowd support. Alabama in ranked No. 11 and yet on a neutral site they are the underdog to a lower ranked team. The Tide have already faced three ranked team only losing to No. 1 Purdue 87-80 at home. Take GONZAGA!

Carolina at San Francisco 8:15 ET

Panthers (+) over 49ers - Carolina at 6-5 have a different look and feel under coach Dave Canales who has his club playing with intensity every time out. The Panthers actually have a shot at moving ahead of the pack in the NFL South. San Francisco has alternated wins and losses the past nine weeks and are off of a routing of Arizona when the scored a season high 41 points. Brock Purdy returned to action last week while Bryce Young is off his finest day as a pro throwing for 448 passing yards. Take CAROLINA!

Portland at Milwaukee 8:00 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Bucks - It appears that the bookies don’t think much of Milwaukee when they are without the ‘Greek Freak’ as they don’t even receive a point spread boost while playing at home. Surprisingly enough the Trail Blazers have won the past three meetings but enter this game on a slide losing five of their last six. The Bucks enter having lost their last four with the last two losses at home. The price sways me…take PORTLAND!

Auburn at Oregon 8:00 ET

Ducks (-) over Tigers - I like this Auburn team (much more than their football team) and believe that when the season finished that they will be in the SEC battle for the automatic tourney bid. The Tigers lone defeat came at the hands of No. 1 Houston 73-72 (Money Game winner). This is mini tournament the Players Era that Oregon won last season. The Ducks are 5-0 and have had a full week to be ready and hold opponents tom38% shooting. Take OREGON!

Cleveland at Toronto 7:00 ET

Cavaliers over Raptors  - I am a bit surprised that the Cavaliers have been installed as a road favorite at Toronto. The Raptors have been playing great basketball and have won 12 of 19 games having the same amount of wins as Cleveland and one less loss, and yet they are made a home underdog. I might add that the Raptors have won seven straight and are now a home underdog and that makes no sense, especially if you note that Toronto has won the last two meeting both in Cleveland. Take CLEVELAND!

Tampa Bay at LA Rams 8:20 ET

Rams (-) over Buccaneers - This is a tough call as the Rams are grading in the top spot for NFL power ratings and at the same time there has been a down grading of Tampa Bay. For Los Angeles their high regard start st the quarterback position where Matthew Stafford is as good as ever. For the Buccaneers it does fall on Baker Mayfield as he is a gamer and just is leading a team that has been decimated by injuries and have lost their last two games and 3-of-4. Defense may be key as the Rams are a plus +10 in turnovers and the Buc’s are plus +9. The points may come into play. Take LA Rams!

Philadelphia at Dallas 4:25 ET

Cowboys (+) over Eagles - Philadelphia has been in prime time that past couple of weeks and were not very impressive according to those that evaluate performances. QB Jalen Hurts has been abused in the media and the rest of the squad is being widely criticized. But, there is one thing to note and that is that the Eagles won both times out when they were not at their best. Now, facing the Cowboys in Dallas they are comfortable in the NFC East leading the division by 3.5 games and with an 8-2 record their incentive isn’t as great as the improving Cowboys. The Eagles opened the season with a win over the Pokes so there is no  division revenge factor. Take DALLAS!    

Jacksonville at Arizona 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over Jaguars - If I hear one more tout say that Arizona is not that bad a football team I will lose it. Even when they have won it was because the opponent handed them the game, and when they play a real football they don’t stand a chance on the field. They get pushed around and become intimidated   Oh yeah, K. Murray is always showing signs of greatness but it is all hype and little production, and now I have to hear of Jacoby Brissett who sets records but loses games. So, why take Redbirds? Well, it’s not like this Jacksonville team is one of those elite teams like Seattle, Green Bay or San Francisco. Those teams man-handled these guys like  dead-birds. The Jaguars might bite, but don’t over-react to last weeks win over the impostor LA Chargers. Just to let you know that I do have some hope as the Cardinals are 4-0 and 4-0 ATS against the Jaguars in the past four meetings. Take ARIZONA!  

Miami at Philadelphia 1:00 ET

76ers (+) over Heat - Miami rolls into Philadelphia winning and covering their last three contests including a rout of the Bulls 143-107. The 76ers have dropped the past four meetings and the Heat have covered the number in their last five games. With the Heat winning by such a large margin I believe that they will come back to the center. Take PHILADELPHIA!

New England at Cincinnati 1:00 ET

Bengals (+) over Patriots - Oh, how I hate playing against these Patriots and playing on any Cincinnati team. New England has won eight in a row and other than last weeks 13-point win over the Jets the were 7-1 ATS and that is hard to beat. The Bengals Joe Burrow will not play and that might actually be a good thing. Let me explain, the Bengals will also be without Ja’Marr Chase who was suspended one game for spitting in a Steelers defensive back’s face. Now, without their two main studs, Cincinnati will have to rally together as they face what is becoming the AFC’s upstart club who have the leading MVP candidate in Drake Maye. No worries…Take CINCINNATI!

Pittsburgh at Chicago 1:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Bears - So, it’s the battle between the NFC North and the AFC South respective division leaders. The Chicago Bears are 7-3 with a half game lead over Green Bay and a one-game lead of Detroit in the NFC North and without a major breakdown disaster they should qualify for the post season. Pittsburgh (6-4) has a one-game lead the AFC South over Baltimore (5-5) and their postseason shot isn’t as clear. Most of the Las Vegas experts believe that the Ravens will overtake the Steelers because they are scheduled to meet twice yet this season. Bears have been very fortunate and the Steelers have a greater need. Take PITTSBURGH!

BYU at Cincinnati 8:00 ET

Bearcats (+) over Cougars - I feel as strongly about this game as I have for any other release this season. One reason is that ‘we’ have had a great run with and against Cincinnati going 5-0 ATS with them winning (2-0) against Nebraska, Iowa State and winning against them (3-0)with C. Florida, Utah, and Arizona. With BYU selections have done well, but can’t match the Cats. With the Cougars 1-1 and 2-0 against them including a Game of the Year winner, sometimes like I have said before, it becomes a matter of numbers at a certain times of the season. Take CINCINNATI!

Pittsburgh at Georgia Tech 7:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Yellow Jackets - I know and understand how good Georgia Tech is and can be not only have I seen it with my own eyes, and I have been hearing all week about the Yellow Jackets, because of their superior ACC position. Last week, the Pittsburgh head coach proved he is a man of his word, saying that he didn’t care if the Panthers lost by 100 points to Notre Dame. Now, we know that didn’t happen, it was only 32 points because of a late Pitt TD. Too much attention be being paid to the Yellow Jackets and the fact of the matter is the black cats can play and this line is so low it makes the Engineers too attractive. Take PITTSBURGH!

TCU at Houston 4:00 ET

Horned Frogs (+) over Cougars - Oh these Horned Frogs would be the death of me if  not for Auburn (Man, all I heard from everybody and I mean everybody about how they suffered their last bad-beat at the hands of the Tigers). Four weeks ago, we had TCU clocked and they won with a late comeback over Baylor but, the past two weeks they fell to Iowa State as a favorite (-7) and last week were destroyed by BYU as a small underdog (+3). Houston at 8-2 is going to a top bowl, but they are such a small favorite here is raises an eyebrow (that a Jim Feist thing). Cougars croak on the Horned Frogs. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN!  

Providence at Penn State 4:00 ET

Friars over Nittany Lions- Upon looking at the match up my first impression is that they have made the wrong team favored. Penn State is 5-0 and one would think that they would be favored against a team that already has a pair of losses. Providence has lost twice to Virginia Tech and at Colorado whereas The Nittany Lions wins have been over the likes of powerhouses Fairfield, Harvard, New Haven College and LaSalle who have won just once. The Friars average 96.4 points per game and are one of the better free throw shooting team while Penn State is not so good. Take PROVIDENCE!

Tulane at Temple 4:00 ET

Owls (+) over Green Wave - This is may ‘sneaky-game of the week’ as for the most part I believe people will gloss over this contest and pay more attention to the games that have more national interest. We have gone 2-0 with and against Tulane this season and respect who they are after all at 8-2 they have already qualified for a bowl while Temple who we have not touched this season until this spot needs one win to because bowl eligible. the Owls have a trend that I put a lot of consideration to and this club under coach GK Kinne has not lost three consecutive games since taking over. Coming off of a game and falling although out-played the Army the Owls come up big. Take TEMPLE!

Michigan State at Iowa 3:30 ET

Spartans (+) over Hawkeyes = With the point spread being what it is does put a bit of fear into me as I am aware of the Michigan State short-comings you know, after all, I did have Penn State as a Power Play winner against them last week. But, I want to look at Iowa because of the losses that they received the past two weeks to USC and Oregon. The farm boys had a 14-0 and 21-7 lead over USC and failed to score in the second half and were beaten by Oregon 18-16 on a last second field goal. After two straight gut wrenching losses where hey left it all on the field I can not see they being a emotionally ready as they should. Too many points from a team that has difficulties scoring. Take MICHIGAN STATE

Louisville at SMU 12:00 ET

Cardinals (+) over Mustangs - In the past two weeks SMU has won a pair of games as a 10-point dog over Miami and a 10-point favorite in last weeks romp over Boston. During those two weeks Louisville lost a pair of home contests that they could have and should have won, but misplays, turnovers, dropped passes and you name it led to them falling to Cal and Clemson. Both clubs are 7-3 and it appears the Mustangs have the momentum but faith can be cruel. The Red-birds will come together here. Take LOUISVILLE!

Kansas State vs Nebraska 9:30 ET

Wildcats (+) over Cornhuskers - These two former conference rivals haven’t played since December 2023 when the Cornhuskers defeated the Wildcats breaking a seven game series losing streak. Both clubs are 5-0 with Nebraska going 4-1 ATS and Kansas State has covered the number twice in five tries. This is the Finals of the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City and both will be represented well by their supporters. In these games the cream will rise and the Wildcats have the Nation’s leading scorer in PJ Haggerty who pouring points in at a 28.2 points clip. Take KANSAS STATE!

Miami at Chicago 8:00 ET

Heat (+) over Bulls - Both of these guys are off of a pair of wins as Chicago finishes a five game road trip having split their past four games. Miami embarks on a mini two-game trip going to Philadelphia on Sunday. The Heat who are respected because of their defense which is ranked No. 3 and allow just 43% of opponents field goal attempts and surprisingly (for the Heat) they are ranked second in field goals made. This is an in season NBA Cup competition with each team 1-1 behind group leader Milwaukee (2-0). The Bulls have won eight of the past 10 meetings against the Heat and swept the series 3-0 last season. I’s a brave new world. Take MIAMI!

Florida State at NC State 8:00 ET

Wolfpack (+) over Seminoles - The winner here becomes bowl eligible and the loser will have to wait at least a week. I would have thought that after opening the season with an impressive victory over Alabama that Florida State won have already clinch a bowl spot, but the rest of their season wasn’t anything to write home about. NC State who has won the last three meetings against this tribe squad but have lost three of their past four including a drubbing at the hands of Miami last Saturday 41-7. Wolfpack bounce back. Take NC STATE!

Carolina at Winnipeg 8:00 ET

Hurricanes over Jets - Winnipeg had won four of the previous five meetings before their final showdown last season when Carolina prevailed 4-2 at home. The Jets has won the last two while Carolina lost in an overtime shootout 4-3 at Minnesota Wednesday. The Hurricanes can create a storm here and ground the Jets. Take CAROLINA!

Ottawa at Anaheim 10:00 ET

Senators over Ducks - Anaheim is attempting to win their third straight home game after a three game losing road trip. These two clubs met twice last year with each team winning on their home ice. But what is comes down to here is that a team that is 9-6-2 is favored over a team the Ducks that is 13-6-1 and a stellar 7-1 at home. This looks totally ‘bogus’ to me and I have to make this a strong play. Taker OTTAWA!

Buffalo at Houston 8:15 ET

Texans (+) over Bills - I am pretty sure that of this game was on Sunday along with the rest of the teams in action I might consider Houston one of my highest-rated releases. Buffalo at 7-3 is loping around and winning when people start to have doubts about how good they really are. Houston is not nearly as good overall as the Bills but they will be putting out the best 11 unit in the game when they are on defense. Offensively, let’s just hope that the defense gets ‘us’ the ball in good field position. Josh Allen the reigning MVP had the game of his life against Tampa Bay throwing for three touchdowns and running in three other scores. I am hoping for a some regression in his play, while looking for an improvement from David Mills at quarterback for the home team getting his third straight start. Take HOUSTON!

Chicago at Portland 10:00 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Bulls - The Chicago Bulls were in a very tough spot on Monday, they have lost five in-a-row and were at Denver playing as a 12-point underdog. Well, like everything else in this upside down world the Bulls won outright 130-127 and have now scored 277 points in their past two road games. After a decent start to the season Portland has dropped their last three and five of six with their lone win during that span was at New Orleans. These guys split a pair of games last season but the Blazers went 2-0 ATS, although the Bulls have won six out the past seven meetings SU. Bulls started 6-1 and needed their win last time out to get back over .500…not tonight. Take PORTLAND!

Alabama vs Illinois 9:00 ET

Crimson Tide (+) over Fighting Illini - I have to admit that I have seen more of Alabama then I have Illinois but, I know what I see and who passes the eye-test. I saw No. 2 Purdue take down the Crimson Tide 87-80 is a tough competitive battle that was decided in the final minute, but what I saw has me excited about this SEC club that until recent seasons has out-shined their gridiron program. No. 8 Illinois (4-0) fell to the Tide in Tuscaloosa 100-87 last November and their visions of payback is just not going to happen. Bama’s weakness against the Boilermakers was their lack of rebounding and coach Nate Oats has addressed the issue and expects his squad to be more aggressive on the boards. Take ALABAMA!

Houston at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Rockets - Houston comes to Cleveland having won their last four games and nine of the last 10 and have also defeated the Cavaliers in their past three meetings. This is the first meetings of the year and it was the Cav’s that were 10-1 last season when the had Darius Garland available as of now they are 10-5. Home court spurs on the underdog. Take CLEVELAND!

Arizona at Connecticut 8:00 ET

Huskies (-) over Wildcats - A par of undefeated (4-0) nationally ranked teams face off in Storrs, Connecticut. UConn defeated No. 7 BYU on Saturday posting a win 86-84 played in Boston’s TD Garden. Arizona defeated No. 15 UCLA 69-65 in California Saturday and opened the season with a 93-87 win over ranked Florida as a 3.5-point underdog. Huskies are deeper and better coached and have the home ‘mojo’ to help provide he winning margin. Take CONNECTICUT!

Michigan State vs Kentucky 6:30 ET

Spartans (+) over Wildcats - In the past 10 years these two NCAA basketball powerhouses have met four times with each winning twice. Michigan State is 3-0 SU with their best win coming over Arkansas 69-66 in their only cover as a 2.5-point favorite. Kentucky 3-1 suffered their loss a week ago at Louisville. Spartans coach Tom Izzo always has a motivated squad that improves dramatically as the season moves on. The last meeting between these two was on a neutral court in Indianapolis and MSU prevailed 86-77 in double-overtime in the Champions Classic. The beat goes on…take MICHIGAN STATE!

Dallas at Las Vegas 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Cowboys - There was a time when this meeting would not only have playoff implications but we would actually see good players on the field and good coaching on the sidelines. Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll has seen better days and it feels like the game has moved on without him. Dallas coach Jerry Jones, no wait, their GM dismantled an already porous defense and is stuck with a quarterback that puts up great numbers (stats) but no many wins. The Raiders have been laying in wait and playing on Monday is a major advantage. Perfect spot for America’s team to fall flat. Take LAS VEGAS RAIDERS!

Carolina at Boston 7:00 ET

Hurricanes (-1.5, +130) over Bruins - Who-ray for Boston they have won eight of their last nine games and have defeated Carolina 2-1 in Charlotte on November 1. Carolina has dropped 2-of-3 after a mini 4-game win streak. But, this game is all about getting even or revenge shall we say. Bruins lead the Atlantic Division and have won six straight at home and now are an underdog…take CAROLINA!

LA Kings at Washington 7:00 ET

Capitoas (-) over Kings - Los Angeles is playing their fifth of six straight road games and so far they are 4-0 while Washington like their NFL counterpart they have lost their last two and eight of their past 10. With this type of play and streaks headed indifferent directions and the Caps are favored. Take WASHINGTON!

Detroit at Philadelphia 8:20 ET

Eagles (-) over Lions - This is one of those games where the last impression that you had of each of them imprints your opinion and there is nothing that you can do about it. But, your mind is playing tricks as Philadelphia looked terrible Monday Night although they did win people were not impressed. Detroit romped over a hapless Washington club and they will not find the going so much fun Sunday night. I have to believe that the Super Champs will be a bit more focused here. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Baltimore at Cleveland 4:25 ET

Browns (+) over Ravens - When they were 1-5 the odds makers still have Baltimore as the favorite to win their Division. Actually, it made more sense than most people realized. To start with the competition stinks with Cincinnati, Cleveland and Pittsburgh which we all expected to fade as their schedule get tougher. Oh, yeah, that’s is another thing the toughest part of the Ravens schedule is done. The black birds have won three straight while the Browns have dropped their last two and five of the past six games with just a win over Miami. The Browns No. 2 defense will not give Henry much running room and this one comes done to the final gun. Take CLEVELAND!

San Francisco at Arizona 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over 49ers - Boy oh boy, the 49ers must really be hurting for them to be this small a favorite against an absolutely pathetic impostor of a professional football team (although they do get paid). QB Murray will not play for whatever reason and when he was in the lineup his play was less then stellar. The Niners have what is rated the easiest schedule in the NFL and are playing down to their competition. The Red Birds fly here under different leadership as 10-year vet Jacob Brisset makes his fifth start of the year. Take ARIZONA!

Houston vs. Auburn 3:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Cougars - No. 1 Houston (3-0) will be facing a ranked team for the first time on what is called a neutral court in Birmingham against No. 22 Aunurn. The Cougars have had their way against Lehigh, Towson and Oakland not exactly elite competition. The Tigers are also 3-0 and will have Steven Pearl coaching from the bench taking over from his father Bruce Pearl. Let’s hope the ‘apple doesn’t fall far from the tree’ and he has retained his father’s expertise. Although the Cougars have won all three game by double-digits they have not shot the ball well, a problem that rose last season in the finals. The Tigers can shot the ball and they play tough defense. Take AUBURN!

LA Chargers ar Jacksonville 4:05 ET

Jaguars (+) over Chargers - At this point of the season I must say that in my opinion is the most over-rated team by the public is the Los Angeles Changers. It just seems that when they are in a position to show dominance they fall short time and again. I believe this is a perfect spot for them to lose outright although I will always take the points. Los Angeles charges into Jacksonville off of three straight wins while the Jaguars return home after a road loss at Houston when they gave up four touchdowns in the final 12 minutes blowing a 19-point lead. They are 1-3 in the last four straight up and 0-4 ATS. The Jaguars will scratch, claw and bite their way to a win here. Take JACKSONVILLE!  

Houston at Tennessee 1:00 ET

Titans (+) over Texans - Please forgive me…I want to get that out of the way because just suggesting that anyone put up money on the Tennessee Titans makes me want to just bang my head against a wall. They are that bad and it happens that Houston is over-rated to the point that after their four touchdown fourth quarter comeback against the Jaguars last week people think that they are for real…they are not. Take TENNESSEE!   

Washington versus Miami 9:30 ET

Commanders (+) over Dolphins - A pair of 3-7 clubs are supposed to show Spain what American football is all about and what better than to have these two schleps on display. Washington has lost five in-a-row and again with be starting Marcus Mariota. Miami has won 2-of-3 and the biggest of them all last time out with a victory over division rival Buffalo 30-13. The Dolphins offense has been underwater all season ranking No. 26 and gaining less than 300 yard a game and their defense is in the bottom five. The former ‘Skins defense is ranked 30th but they move the ball better. Take WASHINGTON!

TCU at BYU 10:30 ET

Horned Frogs (+) over Cougars - Having posted Texas Tech as my Highest-rated Megabucks WINNER over undefeated BYU was the highlight of Saturday’s 5-1 day. I also posted Iowa State and outright winner over this TCU team so I feel that I am in sync with both clubs which makes this a strong play in my head. I and a number of other professional feel that after a team who has been undefeated late in the football season and one’s that are into double-digit wins without a loss in college basketball will lose a second time after having been handed their first loss. BYU was 9-0 last week, now they have lost karma and bit of confidence is as well. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN!  

Utah at Baylor 3:30 ET

Bears (+) over Utes - Utah has been very very good to ‘us’ this season both on and against we are 5-0 ATS with against against the Utes this season, so I have great confidence that I am on the right side of this one. Baylor has also been good to ‘us’ but not in such high regard goin 3-0 ATS but guess what all three win were plays against the Bears…”how’s dat” as my dearly departed handicapper Larry Ness would say! Sometimes it just comes down to time and place and who is where and Saturday night it should be the Bears. Take BAYLOR!  

Oklahoma at Alabama 3:30 ET

Sooners (+) over Crimson Tide  - Oh my, two weeks ago I posted Oklahoma as a Game of the Year and they won 33-27 as a 6-point underdog over Tennessee. The dirty little secret is that the Sooners were  badly outplayed, they make just 12 first downs and were fortunate to in be in the game, much less win it. The Sooner have had a week off to repair their offensive issues and the defense will need to pressure ‘Bama QB Ty Simpson (boy, he is good) and their defense must proved they are worthy of national attention. Take OKLAHOMA!   

Virginia at Duke 3:30 ET

Blue Devils (-) over Cavaliers - WOW…I MEAN WOW! This has got to be the ‘Don’t Make Sense Game of the Week.’ Here, is No. 19 Virginia 8-2 who last week had sole possession of the ACC top spot (5-0) before falling to 16-9 to Wake Forest and   enter Durham to face (5-4) Duke who just was defeated by Connecticut 37-34 as a seven and a half point favorite. This line swing has to have some serious affect on the game. Virginia has won eight of the past nine meetings going 8-1 ATS. The Cavaliers could have come up the favorite and no one one have blinked. Well, I am staring at the Blue Devils. Take DUKE!

Penn State at Michigan State 3:30 ET

Nittany Lions (-) over Spartans - All I can say is that Michigan State must be really, really bad for Penn State to be favored by more than a touchdown. We have seen week after week the weak Nittany Lions get out-played and lose six straight games and now they come up better than a TD favorite on th road. Well, we must take a look at Michigan State. oh well what a surprise the Spartans have  lost six straight games a s well. There is only a 30 yard difference in total offense and defense combined give the Lions about a 30 yard advantage which do not equate to a 7.5-point road conference favorite. The books are leaning on the visitor heavily. Take PENN STATE!

Arizona at Cincinnati 12:00 ET

Wildcats (+) over Bearcats  - A pair of cats that are no kittens (please excuse that) Wild and Bear are a Big-12 meetings that could only have happened with educators ruling college sports. To begin with I hate the starting time and I’m sure Arizona isn’t so happy about it but they will persevere. Cincinnati after an opening week 20-17 loss to Nebraska reeled off seven straight wins until the met our Power Play Utah two weeks ago and had their bubble burst. Two weeks to dwell on a beating that shook their confidence while the Wildcats confidence has been boosted with wins over Colorado and Kansas. The No. 12 defense will contain the Bearscats enough to create a one score final. Take ARIZONA!

Arizona vs. UCLA 10:00 ET

Bruins (+) over Wildcats - Arizona has won six of the past eight meeting with UCLA upsetting the Wildcats on their floor 57-54 as a 4-point underdog last December and that was their only meeting. The Bruins are 3-0 SU but a money burning 0-3 ATS while Arizona is also 3-0 SU but have managed just one cover in their opener against Florida. The styles between these clubs is totally different as the Wildcats are more open and the Bruins will slow down the pace causing frustration on offense for the Cats. Take UCLA!

Clemson at Louisville 7:30 ET

Tigers (+) over Cardinals - Interesting match-up between a pair of rivals in a series that has had Clemson winning eight straight meetings before last year’s Louisville upset of the Tigers 33-21 as a 10.5-point underdog. Clemson (4-5) has had a horrible season (for them) and they need two more wins to become bowl eligible and they have matches with Furman and close at South Carolina. Louisville has had two defeats this season and both were by three points and in overtime. The Cardinals have issues at quarterback and running back with poor play and injuries being key factors. Take CLEMSON!

Indiana at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Suns - Indiana lost their first five games before posting a home win over Golden State who returned the favor with a 114-83 pasting of the Pacers. Phoenix is off of a win at Dallas last night and have won their past four but, the Pacers have won the last two meetings. Take INDIANA!

New York Jets at New England 8:15 ET

Patriots (-) over Jets - ‘Break-up the JETS’ the cry from the rest of the AFC after two straight wins following the season opening seven game losing streak. After all the Green-slime did defeat the 2-7 Browns and the 3-6 Bengals. New England has moved on from the days of having a defensive coordinator as your offensive coordinator and are in position to actually be the Number One AFC seed. The Patriots are giving us their best everytime out and their will not be a lull because it’s the 2-7 Jets…it is the Jets! There will be no let down here, this is one game the Pats get up for this rivalry every time they meet. Take NEW ENGLAND!

Phoenix at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Suns - Phoenix enters this fray on a three game win streak and have covered the number five of their last six games while Dallas off of a 2-point loss to Milwaukee has dropped five of their last six games. Head-to-head these two have split their past 10 meetings and all but the last meeting the Mavericks played with Luca Doncic. Rookie Copper Flagg had a career best 25 points against the Bucks and the rest of his crew is encouraged by his performance. Take DALLAS!

Memphis at Boston 7:30 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Celtics - Memphis has dropped their last two games and have lost six of seven and are just 1-8 ATS in the past nine games overall. Boston is certainly not the same team this season as they were in recent past years. Attrition and injuries have left the Celtics as just another mid-land club that is no real threat to win the title. The Beantowners dropped a 102-100 decision to Philadelphia last night as a small favorite of 1.5-points while The Grizzlies fell to New York at MSG. This one should come down to the final horn. Take MEMPHIS!

Golden State at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET

Warriors (+) over Thunder - OKC is 10-1 and determined to repeat as NBA champions and they are well on their way. Golden State had lost 4-of-5 before defeating Indiana by 31 points on Sunday while the Thunder have rebounded after their first loss at Portland and return home after playing four straight games on the road. The Thunder are 4-0 at home but with be without three members of their cast. Take GOLDEN STATE!

Memphis at New York 7:30 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Knicks - New York has won their last four games and have covered each of them on the heels of a three game losing streak. Memphis was game for awhile against OKC before failing for the fifth time in six outings. The Knicks have won the past four meetings after having lost the previous four meetings. The Grizzlies have had Ja Morant in and out and his performance this season has been sub-par as of this date. Look for the Grizzlies to growl at the Garden tonight. Take MEMPHIS!

Milwaukee at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Bucks - The Bucks have what many considered the biggest game changing player in the NBA in Giannis Antetokoumpo who leads the NBA in scoring with 33.4 points per game. Milwaukee has won six straight over Dallas and the Mavericks are last in the NBA in scoring but will have center Anthony Davis back in action tonight and that takes pressure off of No. 1 draft pick Cooper Flagg. Take DALLAS!

Philadelphia at Green Bay 8:15 ET
Packers over Eagles - The Eagles who are off of a bye week soar into Green Bay off of a pair of wins while the Packers are off an upset loss to Carolina. In that loss they were just 1-for-5 in the Red Zone and missed a chip shot field goal. The Packers have covered the number just once in their last six outings. Philadelphia has defeated the Pack four of the past five meetings and none stand out more than last year’s NFL Wild Card game 22-10 when Jordan Love was intercepted three times and they also defeated GB in the season’s opener in Brazil. Tonight it is…GREEN BAY!

Minnesota at Sacramento 9:00 ET

Kings (+) over Timberwolves - This has got to be one of those opposites are drawn together because after their last performances that is the only way this happens. Minnesota is off of their best all-round game of the year with high’s for shooting percentage both FG and 3-pointers and they won by 40 points, 137-97 over Utah. The Kings are off to a slow start and were crushed at home Friday night by Oklahoma City 132-101. So, I expect both clubs to move toward the center and for this one to come down to the final horn. The Kings did defeat the Wolves in their past two meetings. Take SACRAMENTO!

Pittsburgh at LA Chargers 8:20 ET

Steelers (+) over Chargers - Having used Pittsburgh as lat weeks Megabucks winner was wonderful unless you just saw the stats and not the final score. The Steelers benefited from six Indianapolis turnovers and the Steelers still had to hang on to win. This price is short because of all the injuries to the Chargers. The truth of the matter is that Pittsburgh just isn’t all that good as they are ranked No. 30 on offense and number 28 on defense. Take LA CHARGERS.

Detroit at Washington 4:25 ET

Foreskins (+) over Lions - Golly, this game will let us know for sure about Washington who enters once again with Marcus Mariota at quarterback. Many, are looking at this as a revenge game for the playoff win the Commies laid on the Lions in Detroit last January especially after losing to Minnesota last week. The Lions who committed five turnovers in that playoff loss three of which were interceptions. The visitors will also be without five starters and that should be enough for the former ‘Skins to bring it down to the wire.  Take WASHINGTON!

Arizona at Seattle 4:05 ET

Cardinals (+) over Seahawks  - Seattle under Tom Darnold look alot like the Minnesota Vikings of 2024, just sayin’. The Seahawks have been impressive at 6-2 with their losses by 3-points to Tampa Bay when surrendering 10 points in the final 1:06 and a 17-143 loss to the 49ers opening day and since have won 6-of-7. The Cardinals ended a 5-game slide with a win over the Cowboys where Dallas did their best to see to it that the Red Birds win. Murray is out at QB and that can lift the Cardinals. Take ARIZONA!

Buffalo at Miami 1:00 ET

Dolphins (+) over Bills - Like Penn State yesterday it would take a miracle but I think that Miami has a chance to win this game. Not, that they can match talent with the Bills but they have looked so bad that their professionalism is on the line. They can not quit and they will not quit. They have been snake bitten and it is something that as professional they will be forced to overcome. Buffalo knows who they are and are not concerned about the Dolphins being competition in the playoff hunt. Take MIAMI!

New Orleans at Carolina 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Panthers - The Saints are the only NFL team that has not had a first quarter lead at anytime this season and they have lost four straight without a cover with their only win was against the NY Giants who folded late and blew a lead. Carolina may have worked themselves out of the also ran category are are 5-4 winning and covering for of their last five. The Panthers are 3-1 at home and the Saints are 0-4 on the road and I wonder why such a short number. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Atlanta vs.Indianapolis 9:30 AM ET

Falcons (+) over Colts - Atlanta should enjoy crossing the Atlantic because stateside they have gone south having lost their last three. Indianapolis at 7-2 is the division and conference leader although they are off of a loss at Pittsburgh where they gave  the game away with six turnovers. ‘Danny Dimes’ is has reverted back to doing what he does way too often…he turns the ball over. Take ATLANTA

LA Lakers at Atlanta 8:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Lakers - The Lakers are off to a great start at 7-2 and are unbeaten on the road winning and covering all four games. Yep, and all this is being done without LeBron James who once again is sidelined with injuries. Atlanta’s start to the season hasn’t been so hot winning just four of their first nine games. These two split a pair of meetings last season and Los Angeles has won and covered their last five games while Atlanta is off of a home loss to Toronto last night blowing a 13-point lead in the opening game of the in season NBA Cup. Trae Young is out for three weeks and the Hawks are 2-2 without him. The Hawks will face Luka Doncic who they drafted and traded to Dallas within minutes of being selected . Take ATLANTA!

Wake Forest at Virginia 7:00 ET

*Demon Deacons (+) over Cavaliers - When Virginia lost their first conference game of the season to NC State my thoughts were that this is the same team that has struggled the past two years. But, the Cavaliers have won seven straight going 5-2 ATS and can get to the tourney if they win out and being aware of that just adds pressure. Last year they broke Wake’s five game series winning streak posting a 31-30 victory as a 1-point favorite and school a pair of late touchdowns for the win. The Demon Deacons were crushed by Florida State 42-7 last week and I am sure they will have better focus and effort this week. Take WAKE FOREST!

Texas A&M at Missouri 3:30 ET

*Tigers (+) over Aggies - This is a perfect spot for the Aggies to stumble! Texas A&M is in new territory being undefeated and ranked this high this late I the season. Stat wise Texas A&M shows to be one of the better balanced team in the nation with a balance on offense and a defense that can defend. Missouri is in a perfect spot to upset A&M as they have lost just once in their past 16 home games and that was to Alabama by three points three weeks ago. It is time ans the place for an outright upset but I will be happy to take the points. Take MISSOURI!   

Iowa State at TCU 3:30 ET

Cyclones (+) over Horned Frogs - Iowa State has been berry, berry good to me. We played on them early when they won five straight and have been against them while they were on a four game losing streak which they still are on entering this game. TCU is 6-2 SU and they are a club you have to be ready to defense, but they have been a bit inconsistent. The Cyclones have won 4-of-5 meetings including a 27-14 win as a home dog in 2023 when they were out gained by the Horny Frogs but they intercepted four passes. Cyclones looking to become bowl eligible and get back on track. Take IOWA STATE!

Indiana at Penn State 12:00 ET

Nittany Lions (+) over Hoosiers - Oh man…how could I? I love this Indiana team and I believe that they actually have a chance to win it all and the is mostly because of their coach Curt Cignetti. When he came to the Hoosiers after having led James Madison to a National Championship when asked about recruiting he simply said ‘”Google me.” His message to his players was you come here (to Indiana) if you want to win. Penn State is just a shell of what they were supposed to be a when the year began. They were supposed to be a contender and although the Lions have failed miserably still have enough high quality people to be competitive. This is their first home game without James Franklin and they will be playing with their back-up quarterback for the third straight game. Let us hope he takes advantage of his opportunity against one of the nations best all around teams. A star is born…I hope. Take PENN STATE!

BYU at Texas Tech12:00 ET

Red Raiders (-) over Cougars - Last week ‘we’ went with Utah over Cincinnati because the line was ridiculously high and it ended as an easy win for us. This week we have the same situation and I am going to the well once again. BYU is undefeated and somehow they are a double-digit underdog against Texas Tech. Now, I understand that the Red Raiders are an explosive team but the Cougars have been on a huge upswing the last two seasons and, they will not be able to sneak up on the rest of the conference like they did last year. These two met two seasons ago and BYU as a 3-poit dog won outright at home 27-14 when Tech has more than a 150 yard advantage on offense as they held the Cougs to just 276 yards, But, they fumbled three times and had three passing intercepted. Huge reversal here. Take TEXAS TECH

Tulane at Memphis 9:00 ET

Green Wave (+) over Tigers - I love rivalry games and although not all people are aware of all rivalries some of very intense without you a non-student being aware. This meeting between a pair of southern schools has huge significance to each club but especially for Tulane. Let me tell you a true story about how much this game means to the Green Wave. A number of seasons ago players on Tulane were caught point shaving and prosecuted and were charged with fixing games. Under oath they testified in court that there is one game that they would not lay-down for, and that was when Memphis was their opponent. The Green Wave players laid down often all season but would not do it against Memphis because of the intensity of their rivalry. Take TULANE!

Charlotte at Miami 8:10 ET

Hornets (+) over Heat- This will be the second meeting between these two already this season and the Heat showed no mercy in their 144-117 home victory 10 days ago. Miami has gone 1-3 SU since then while Charlotte has dropped four of five with just one cover. But, tonight the Heat will not have their starting center Bam Adebayo who leads the team in rebounds and is second in scoring and Miami’s other All-star Tyler Hero will also be sidelined. Take CHARLOTTE!

Boston at Orlando 7:10 ET

Magic (-) over Celtics - Okay, to start with this will be the first game in the silly in season NBA Cup Group 8 and Sunday’s second meeting is not part of the Cup series. Boston took four-of-five against the Magic in the NBA Playoffs last April. The Celtics are nowhere near the club they were in recent seasons as major injuries and player movement has this club at a different talent level. The Magic are looking to rebound after Tuesday’s set back by Atlanta when they turned the ball over 17 times. Celtic coach Joe Mazzula said that he uses ‘teachable moments’ with his younger players. Well, at this level the teaching should have already been done and the lack of experience is a major shortcoming. Take ORLANDO!

Las Vegas at Denver 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Broncos - If you have watched or seen the Las Vegas Raiders play what they call football this season it is understandable if you just have difficulty betting on them. Goodness, they are terrible and with Geno Smith hooked up the next three years the future looks as bleak as the past and they have Pete Carroll to thank. Denver has turned the corner with Sean Patton leading the way and his coaching advantage is pronounced here, especially if you pit Bo Nix against ‘I Never-was’ QB Smith. But, this is a division match-up which always adds to the underdog intensity something the Raiders have been lacking so far this season under Carroll, but the fear of humiliation will keep them motivated. Take LAS VEGAS!

Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (-) over 76ers - Philadelphia got off the mark like a bolt winning their first four games and currently are 5-1-1 ATS. Cleveland broke a mini two-game slide with a win over Atlanta on Sunday 132-120 but are just 2-5 ATS on the season. This is the first meeting of the season between these two and after three straight wins in the series the 76ers broke through with a win in their final meeting last year. This line is a bit inflated because of the season debut for the Cavaliers of Daruis Garland who returns after being injured during the 2024-25 playoffs. The Sixers missed their final 11 shots in last nights loss at Chicago and this is the second of back-to-back games and Joel Embiid’s availability is in question. Take CLEVELAND!

Brooklyn at Indiana 7:00 ET

Nets (+) over Pacers - Gosh, these two clubs are lucky to be playing each other because this way one of them will come out of this game with a win. For Brooklyn it would be their first of the season in their eighth game, while Indiana is seeking just their second win in eight tries. Nets coach Jordi Hernanadez is pleased with his clubs energy and that is all well and good but they have to win some games. They started 0-18 in 2009 and really things have remained the same fore over a decade with one attempt with Irving and Durant. The Pacers have player issues and need time to get to where they were last season. Take BROOKLYN!

Philadelphia at Chicago 8:00 ET

76ers over Bulls - It is kind of surprise that both of these clubs are 5-1 with Chicago receiving its first defeat to New York last time out on Sunday. The Bulls won the last two meetings in a season that both clubs would like to forget. The concern here when looking to play on the Sixers is the question as to the availability of Joel Embiid who sat out on Sunday against Brooklyn. He is always listed a questionable or probable but he will be in the line-up tonight. The Bulls are off to their quick start because of the defense that they have played so far…so far. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Milwaukee at Toronto 7:30 ET

Raptors (-) over Bucks - Taking a closer look at this match-up has a 3-4 team Toronto a 4-point (plus) favorite against the 5-2 Bucks who have won the past four meetings. The last time they met was a little over a week ago in Toronto like this one and Milwaukee took a 122-116 win as a 2-point underdog. This time, in the same venue, the same two teams met 10 days later and now favored by 2-3 points more after losing outright. This shows the books seem to think the The Raptors are the side. Take TORONTO!

Arizona at Dallas 8:15 ET

Cardinals (+) over Cowboys - Even though they have lost their last five games Arizona has covered the past two games and are 4-3 ATS on the season. While Dallas has the No. 2 ranked offense they also have the No. 31 ranked defense. The Cowboys have allowed 250 points which puts them on pace to surrender a record high in points set by Carolina (534) in 2024. The Cardinals have lost five games by a total of 13 points and they should keep this one close until the final gun and possibly pulling off the outright upset. Dallas is averaging 44.1 points at home but have allowed 30 touchdowns and five of their eight opponents have scored 30 points or more. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray throughout his career is a perfect 9-0 at AT&T Stadium going 5-0 in high school and winning with the Cardinals 2-0, Oklahoma (1-0) and Texas A&M (1-0). He does it again. Take ARIZONA!

Washington at New York 7:30 ET

Wizards (+) over Knicks - I’m not sure if New York has really put it together after just one win. The Knicks started the season under new leadership with Mike Brown taking charge and their start was not so smooth and it may still take a while for it all to mesh under his influence. The Wizards don’t seem any better this year, although their lone win did come on the road against Dallas. The DC boys enter on a four game slide and have dropped nine straight to New York. Last time out the Knicks had their best game of the season in all aspects so I expect some regression while the Wiz who lost by 31 on Saturday to the Magic. Take WASHINGTON!

Seattle at Washington 8:20 ET

Commanders (+) over Seahawks - It was said the the beginning of the season that we expected a regression by Washington as they received every good bounce and tipped pass they could last season and the law of averages has already caught up with them. One thing that the Commanders did have going for them was a health Jayden Daniels. Seattle has been solid all season and come to DC as favorites something that would not have happened last season. The former ‘Skins have four their last three with their last win at LA Chargers. Now, with Daniels back healthy the Commanders take command! Take WASHINGTON!   

Chicago at New York 7:05 ET

Knicks over Bulls - Break-up the Bulls…Chicago is undefeated (5-0) and have already posted a win over New York winning outright 135-125 and covered as 5-point underdogs on Friday. The Knicks at 2-3 have yet to find their way as it appears the coaching change they made after their playoff run ended. The Bulls have won three of the past four meetings and have covered the past five meetings. New York returns home after three straight road losses and coach Mike Brown is stresses defense is the key to winning today.  Take NEW YORK!

Jacksonville at Las Vegas 4:25 ET

Raiders (+) over Jaguars - How bad are the Raiders? Last time out against Kansas City they managed just three first downs one of which came by penalty and two through the air which means neither their top draft pick Ashton Jeanty or any other running back gain the yardage needed. Las Vegas is ranked No. 30 on offense and Gino Smith has 10 interceptions and only five TD passes this changes here as Pete Carroll has had two weeks to prepare his troops and he needs it. Take LAS VEGAS!

Indianapolis at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Colts - Pittsburgh is in that position once again where people are waiting for their play to slip and a loss here would have those people gloating. But, it always seems that when the public counts this team out Mike Tomlin comes out of it win a victory and the talk of the Steelers demise slows down for a week, Daniel ‘Indiana’ Jones has protected the ball well this season and his errors overall have been at a minimum and Aaron Rodgers although the big number haven’t been there has been sharp. Take INDIANAPOLIS!  

Atlanta at New England 1:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Patriots - If there has been a team as inconsistent as Atlanta I’d like some one tell me who! Since defeating Buffalo 24-14 and looking like world beaters that have dropped two straight scoring just 10 points in each loss to the Niners and Dolphins. Injuries have been a Falcons issue with QB Michael Penix sitting out last week and they are better off with him than the aging Kirk Cousins. New England is on their best run since the Brady years have won five straight covering all five. Cincinnati at Utah 10:15 ET

Utes (-) over Bearcats - The price on this game is outrageous when you consider that Cincinnati has won seven straight games after an opening week 20-17 loss to Nebraska when the Cornhuskers scored on the final play of the game. One of the questions as to why Utah is such a heavy favorite as the Bearcats top running back is out and the quarterback condition for the Utes adds mystery. Utah has the stats that show the difference between these two and as to why the spread is as wild as it is. Utah is No. 12 on defense allowing just 283.6 YPG while Cincy is ranked No. 71 allowing over 100 yards more per game, and on offense the Utes are ranked No. 14 while the Cats are ranked No. 31. Take UTAH!  

Oklahoma at Tennessee 7:30 ET

Sooners (+) over Volunteers - Oklahoma was sailing along at 5-0 and then ran into some competition as Texas (Megabucks winner) held them a pair of field goals while shutting them out the entire second half and last week fell at home to Mississippi. Tennessee defeated the Sooners last September 25-15 as a 5.5-point favorite. The Vols losses came to Georgia and Alabama nothing to be ashamed about and just routed Kentucky 56-34. That number 56 is ringing in the Oklahoma’s ears along with the fact that the Vols are 2nd nationally in points per game 45.6. The Sooners’ accept the challenge as they possess the No. 1 defense in the nation allowing just 240.2 yards per game. Take OKLAHOMA!

Georgia Tech at N.C. State 7:30 ET

Wolfpack (+) over Yellow Jackets - Last season when these two met NC State fell 30-29 and even though they out-gained The Yellow Jackets they were not able to overcome three interceptions. NC State at 4-4 is playing for bowl eligibility although they have been under achievers this season as much more was expected of them. It will be a tough road for the Pack who have won just once since September 11 and that was a win over Campbell on October 4. Desperate for a win the Wolfpack survive. Take NORTH CAROLINA STATE  

Georgia vs. Florida 3:30 ET

Gators (+) over Bulldogs - America’s largest cocktail party in Jacksonville…at 6-1 Georgia with their lone lost 24-21 coming at the hands of Alabama has them believing they can earn a bye in the FBS seeding. Florida has been a huge disappointment at 3-4 but many predicted Billy Napier was on borrowed time and were surprise he last that long. The Gators are young and have some electrifying talent that has to mature and gain confidence. This is a tough spot for growing pains but they have the ability to raise to the occasion. North Carolina at Syracuse 7:30 ET

Tar Heels (+) over Orange - Something, has got to give as these tow squads enter this fray having lost their last four games. Syracuse has posted one signature win and it came against Clemson and the Tigers are not quite up to previous standards. The best thing that can be said of the Tar Heels season is that they lost to ranked Virginia 17-16 when their attempted two-point conversation failed. North Carolina has no passing game with QB Lopez having thrown five interceptions and only four touchdown passes. Still, Belichick’s influence is starting to take hold. Take NORTH CAROLINA!
