Penn State at Iowa 7:00 ET

Nittany Lions (+) over Hawkeyes - I can’t help myself with this one. okay, James Franklin is gone and maybe that is actually a plus. Aside from the game that counted the most, he was great but losing three in a row and the last two as 20 plus favorites when this was supposed to be their year when it all comes together. The Lions players already saddened stated that ‘”We have overwhelming guilt.” Now, does that mean that the are just going to throw away the season or suck it up and get the win…Four weeks ago Iowa would have been  at least a 7-point underdog. Take PENN STATE!

Mississippi State at Florida 3:30 ET

Gators (-) over Bulldogs - Okay this is silly when you take a step back and and get an objective view of this match-up you may become a little startled. Here is a Mississippi State (4-2) team that has improved my leaps and bounds getting double-digit points from a 2-4 Florida team that is 1-4 ATS against FBS teams. The Bulldogs who were 2-10 last season and started 4-0 until the competition level increased and they played Tennessee close tow weeks ago but were run out by Texas A&M 31-9 last week. This line is so OUT OF WHACK I have to lay it.  Take FLORIDA!

Texas Tech at Arizona State 4:00 ET

Sun Devils (+) over Red Raiders - I was told and many were aware before the season started that No. 6  Texas Tech (6-0) was all-in with NIL and oil money making a move on the rest for the state for the top rated athletes. So, how are they doing…! Arizona State (4-2) had a breakout season last year and there should be some regression but they are still in the hunt even after getting wasted last week by Utah the Sun Devils will be ready for the Red Raiders attack. Devils burn invaders. Take ARIZONA STATE!  

Mississippi at Georgia 3:30 ET

Bulldogs (-) over Rebels - No. 4 Mississippi (6-0, 3-0) enters a heavy underdog against a lower ranked No. 11 Georgia. The Bulldogs (5-1) showed the kind of character they have coming back for a near death experience to win at Auburn last Saturday. But, what the Rebels will have to contend with aside from the hostile 95,00 screaming Bulldog fans but their No. 5 offense will face one of the nation’s top defenses. I games like this defense rules but why so many points. ‘Cuz this is the first real competition they’ll face. Take GEORGIA!  

UNLV at Boise State 3:30 ET

Broncos (-) over Rebels - Are you kidding me! UNLV is 6-0 and have the best three year cover rate in the Nation winning 72% ATS covering that span and yet they are a double-digit underdog. An underdog to a team that hasn’t shown they are deserving of such respect although Boise State has dominated the series winning all eight meetings since 2011. The Broncos have covered the past four meetings including twice last season and for the second straight year defeated the Rebels in the MWC Championship game. Old habits are hard to break and karma along with mojo happens here. Take BOISE STATE!

Oklahoma at South Carolina 12:00 ET

Gamecocks (+) over Sooners - Oklahoma did exactly what ‘we’ thought they would do as we used Texas as our Megabucks winner. Meanwhile, South Carolina still hasn’t played to the level expected of them. The Gamecocks have three losses and they all were by quality clubs LSU, Vanderbilt and Missouri. I think with this game starting so early (11am local) and with the Sooners a little but despondent after being handed their first loss. I call it the bang-bang as they have trouble recovering from the shock and disappointment of getting beat for the first time and facing reality. Take SOUTH CAROLINA!

Louisville at Miami-FL 7:00 ET

Cardinals (+) over Hurricanes - Is Miami the real deal? Tonight’s encounter with Louisville (4-1) will help clear up any doubts one way or another. The Hurricanes have shown big early in the season a number of times and for the most part just wane he later part of the year. Louisville lost 30-27 to Virginia last time out a game they let get away as the held the Cavaliers to 88 yards rushing and just 237 offensive yards. A scoop and run along with an interception returns for touchdowns do the Cardinals in. Tonight they protect the ball. Take LOUISVILLE!

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 8:15 ET

Bengals (+) over Steelers - For the past six years we have seen Cincinnati win just one of the 12 first two games of season. So, this year with everyone now aware of their slow starts and they were determined this season would be different and it is. they actually won their first two games defeated Cleveland 17-16 and Jacksonville 31-27. Then reality set in and they have lost their last four and only covered getting 15-points last week against the Packers. Pittsburgh is your classic over-achiever winning games in the most unlikely manner. The Steelers’ have won 12 of the last 15 meetings covered the past four meetings with the Bengals only getting a half-point cover in the final week of the season last January. These two starting quarterbacks have 81 combined life’s experience years between Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco. In the first of three straight at home the Bengals growl. Take CINCINNATI!

Buffalo at Atlanta 7:15 ET

Falcons (+) over Bills - It just keeps getting before for Buffalo even when they are not playing. Baltimore, considered their stiffest competition in the AFC lost their fifth straight game Sunday and this eases the ouch of the Bills loss last week to New England. Atlanta is going to suffer the ups and downs of an in-experienced quarterback as Michael Penix matures in the job. The Falcons with a bye last week have had 14 full days to prepare for their first Monday Night home game in seven seasons. Okay, now here’s the goof…Buffalo is No. 3 in total offensive yards per game with 396 but believe it or not the Falcons have the No. 1 ranked defense allowing just 244 YPG. Just to balance the numbers Buffalo is ranked No. 9 on defense (300) YPG while the Black Birds are Ranked No. 7 on offense putting up 362 YPG. With the home crowd and intangibles give the Falcons the edge. Take ATLANTA!  

Detroit at Kansas City 8:20 ET

Chiefs over Lions - Lordy, it doesn’t get any easier for the Chiefs(2-3) as they now host the NFL’s most proficient offense in the Lions (4-1) who pounded out their fourth straight win and cover crushing Cincinnati 37-24. Kansas City fell to Jacksonville last Monday a game they could have easily won but that with a 3-point loss to Philadelphia has them behind the Chargers in the AFC West. I feel this game is way to important for Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes will be  at his best against a defense that can be exploited. Take KANSAS CITY!

Dallas at Carolina 1:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Cowboys - Dallas has brought their record up to a break-even mark at 2-2-1 but that is not going to win you anything but a door prize. The Cowboys’ Dak Prescott has used CeeDee Lamb to spurn the offense to its No. 1 ranking averaging 407 YPG. The problem for the Lone Star guys is that the ranked dead last on defense allowing 412 YOG which is more than they gain. Carolina is be more basic and fundamentally more sound. This is the fourth road game of the season for Dallas with their one win coming at the NY Jets (that shouldn’t even count) and the Panthers third home game and enter 2-0 as hosts. Take CAROLINA!

LA Rams at Baltimore 1:00 ET

Ravens (+) over Rams - I firmly believe that the best time to play a team like in the stock market when they are at their lowest point and I can’t see Baltimore (1-4) sinking any lower. The Ravens were one of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl out of the AFC and now with Jackson out and a defense that doesn’t make any stops they look completely lost. The Rams (-2) were also expected to have a good shot at emerging out of the NFC but have let wins slip through their fingers so to speak. The Ravens start on the road back to respectability with a big effort here. Take BALTIMORE!

LA Chargers at Miami 1:00 ET

Dolphins (+) over Chargers - Man is this an ugly side! Miami (1-4) whose lone win came against the win-less New York Jets are hosting a Chargers. They opened the season with three straight impressive wins and have now dropped their last two the first at the 0-4 NY Giants and at home last week to Washington 27-10 after asking a10-o lead. Injuries have stymied the LA attack and the Dolphins are ready to excel at home. Take MIAMI!

New England at New Orleans 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Patriots - I find it hard to believe that I’m on New Orleans for the second straight week (Power Play winner) after they had lost eight in-a-row. New England is up and coming and is off of one of their biggest wins in a number of season defeating Buffalo Sunday night. The Patriots are one win shy of last seasons total wins of five. New Orleans ranks behind the Pats on offense by about 30 yards a game which values out at 1-point but they have a defense that has allowed less yards, be it not many, buy still it means that they are competitive and with a win under his belt after 10 starts without a victory Spencer Rattler wants more. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Denver vs New York Jets 9:30AM ET

Jets (+) over Broncos - Not a surprise to any of my New York friends that the Jets (0-5) will be the last team to post a victory this NFL season. It seems like the more changes they make the worse it gets. Denver on the other hand is trending in a positive direction since Sean Payton took over the head coaching job. But he has one draw back when preparing to meet win-less teams and he is 4-14-1 ATS including 0-7 as a favorite of 4 or more. Take NEW YORK J-E-T-S

Georgia at Auburn 4:30 ET

Tigers (+) over Bulldogs - Here I go again with the Tigers. I like both of these teams and I’m not afraid to play with them or against them at anytime. This game caught my attention because the price looks so inviting. Oh yeah, well which side…I mean No. 10 Georgia whose loss was 24-21 to Alabama has had its way over the Tigers in what is considered the ‘Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry’ and had a cakewalk last week over Kentucky. Auburn has fallen to Oklahoma and Texas A&M in games they had opportunities to win and or cover. But, for as long as I can remember their have been plenty of Tigers victories but there are time they lose in the most excruciating ways. I mean I am not kidding this has gone on for decades. I just hope that they keep it together and can actually win this one. Take AUBURN!

Texas Christian at Kansas State 3:30 ET

Wildcats (+) over Horned Frogs - Like ships passing in the night these two clubs finished last weeks games in what could only be said in totally different Manners. TCU for back from a 14-point hole to defeat Colorado while Kansas State was blowing a late 14-point lead to Baylor losing 35-34. The Horned Frogs will pass you to death averaging 311.7 YPG in the air and have current Big-12 offensive player of the week in Josh Hoover. Kansas State is below average in all offensive categories but they have a 29-13 ATS record at home and win here. Take KANSAS STATE!  

Oklahoma vs. Texas 3:30 ET

Longhorns over Sooners - Believe me when I say that no matter what conferences these teams may be a part of this is the biggest game on the schedule for both teams. Texas opened the season losing to Ohio State (Megabucks Winner) and then pounded three nobodies and then over looked a down trodden Florida team as their look ahead played ended into their second loss. Surely, the team, that many pundits predicted would win it all is one loss away from being totally eliminated with a third defeat. Oklahoma (5-) is undefeated and Sooners may speak of revenue for last season’s 34-3 beat-down, but they are in a funky spot because of the Longhorns desperation who are 64-51-5 lifetime against the Okies and the eyes of Texas is upon them. ‘Hook’em Horn’s take TEXAS!

Air Force at UNLV 3:30 ET

Falcons (+) over Rebels - You know here I am every week looking for UNLV to stumble and it is just not happening as the Rebels keep winning and covering. I thought that there would be some regression in the program with the player and coaching changes. But, they seem better than ever especially ATS as they have the best ATS record they last three seasons. The Falcons may fly high but it is their ground game the will keep this one close. Playing against a military school no matter what sport will always be a hard fought experience they do not give up. Take AIR FORCE!   

Iowa State at Colorado 3:30 ET

Buffaloes (+) over Cyclones - The moment I saw this opening line my thought were whoa, what’s up with this one. Here is Iowa State (5-1) coming into Boulder a minuscule favorite against a Colorado (2-4) team that has been without their head coach Deion Sanders, who was just released from the hospital. But, on the playing field their has got to be a question about the Cyclones. Last week I posted Cincinnati (-1.5) against ISU a 38-30 because the ‘line’ was Bogus and it was a winner and now the bookies are telling me that it is going to happen again. Take COLORADO!   

Alabama at Missouri 12:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide - I have had a good luck (3-0) playing both with and against this Alabama squad and I do like them as a team over all. But, this Missouri club has upgraded its overall profile and will be more dominate running the ball. The Tigers offense ranks NO.6 and gains 548 YPG including rushing for 292 YPG and overall average 6.8 years per play. In the past Alabama was the more powerful team on the ground controlling the ball but their mode on offense has changed. They are now a pass first team and don’t measure up front like previous regimes. Take MISSOURI!

Las Vegas at Phoenix 8:00 ET

Mercury (-) over Aces -To start with Las Vegas has won 23 of their last 26 games closing the regular season with 16 straight wins and they are 7-3 in this years playoffs. The Aces are looking for their third WNBA championship in four years and were 16-16 before they started their incredible run. The Mercury defeated New York and Minnesota the two toughest clubs in the league this season and can play up to the aces tonight. Take PHOENIX!

San Francisco at Jacksonville 8:15 ET

Jaguars (+) over 49ers - Kansas City (2-2) pounded the Ravens last week, a game which they considered a ‘must’ win, and they did win, but they are not out of the danger zone as of yet. The Chief’s offense has been spotty this season and they will be without their big play guy in Xavier Worthy who has been downgraded to questionable and without him their offense is not the same. Jacksonville (3-1) Has been able to run the ball effectively and are fourth ranked rushing team with Travis Etienne, Jr. leading the NFL in average per run at 6.1 per attempt. Their ability to run the ball has help Trevor Lawrence gain solid footing. KC has won the last eight meetings but this night the Jaguars growl. Take JACKSONVILLE!

Detroit at Cincinnati 4:25 ET

Bengals (+) over Lions - We understand in the wild that in the wild, the Lion is King and has a huge advantage over a Bengal tiger. But when it comes to the NFL it might be wild at times, and Cincinnati needs his to be one of those times. From what we witnessed last Monday night, they appeared lifeless, and their body language was one of despair. Without Joe Burrow, they are surely a different team. So, it comes down to quarterback Browning who has had success in the past a a starter but looked like he had never played at this level before on Monday night. Detroit ,after watching film will not be able to take this team seriously, I mean they will probably be laughing in the film room at how easy it is going to be. Not so fast, these are professionals and if they have any pride ‘what-so-ever ‘they will be focused and ready to play against anybody. Take CINCINNATI!

Washington at LA Chargers 4:25 ET

Commanders (+) over Chargers  - If Washington (2-2) is to meet expectations this season they will have to win on the road at some time. The former ‘Skins can move the ball and score even with Daniels out but  they have shown that their pass defense is suspect. LA was and is still a bit banged up and got caught numerous time by broken plays where rookie QB Dart took of running. The Chargers can expect more of the same and with Daniels returning at QB and I look for the plenty of DC offense. Take WASHINGTON!

Miami at Carolina 1:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Dolphins - A pair of NFL dregs match-up ,and there really isn’t many positive things to say about either side. However, I will say I believe that Carolina (1-3) has a bigger upside, the Dolphins, who are drowning. When clubs this bad play each other hey become charged up with the thought that they actually have a chance to win a game. Miami (1-3) ranks No. 26 on offense and No. 25 on defense, and are coming off of a Monday Night win over the win-less New York Jets. All three of the Panthers losses came on the road while winning their lone home game, shutting out Atlanta 30-0…Take CAROLINA!

Denver at Philadelphia 1:00 ET

Broncos (+) over Eagles- For a team that is undefeated Philadelphia (4-0) has not been very impressive with their offense ranking No. 30 and their defense ranking No. 26, there are 32 teams. Denver rebounded from a pair of losses to win a walkover game against a depleted Cincinnati squad. After an easy win like that I look to fade the club that didn’t have to exert themselves, but, coach Sean Payton will deal with that during the week. A pair of SEC QB’s match-up and I do not believe Nix has ever came out on top. So…take DENVER!  

Miami at Florida State 7:30 ET

Seminoles (+) over Hurricanes - If there is any game out there that I would love to attend it would be this match up of two Florida teams. See, if you were there you would get all the pageantry and a pair of arch rivals you get the Florida State marching band in full Indiana dress and with Miami you get great football and a student of females that appear bra-less in halter tops. I love this game it’s GREAT game…I believe that the Seminoles are in big time rebound mode after having so many things go against them on the field. They like winning and will atone for last week’s loss to Virginia in a game they controlled until they started thinking about meeting Miami here. Well, here it is…FLORIDA STATE!  

Mississippi State at Texas A&M 7:30 ET

Aggies (-) over Bulldogs - With Mississippi State entering this fray 4-1 and 5-0 ATS after taking Tennessee to the limit in overtime last week. I would venture to say that they left it all on the field and are in a prime spot to get wasted. I mean blown out by the Aggies who rank in the top six in both offense and defense. This will be the visitors first game outside the state of Mississippi and playing at College Station can be foreboding. I love this spot and so do the wise guys who have pushed this line well over 14…it shouldn’t matter. Take TEXAS A&M!

UNLV at Wyoming 7:00 ET

Cowboys (+) over Rebels -  The price of this game with UNLV such a small favorite has me wondering why. The Rebels are undefeated 4-0 and have had two weeks to get ready after their come from behind win at Miami-Ohio. Trailing by 14 with eight minutes to go they went on a 17-0 run and have had two weeks to pat themselves on their backs. Now, two weeks to pat yourself on the back after a great come back win is too much. Playing in Laramie where the weather can always be a factor is one thing you can’t control,but the thing that will affect UNLV the most is the altitude which is 7.980 feet above sea level. I have to believe the Cowboys catch the Rebels in the second half and I expect them to get of to a slow start anyway. Take WYOMING!

Michigan State at Nebraska 3:30 ET

Cornhuskers (-) over Spartans  - Now, now, another game home game for Nebraska against a Big-Ten foe from Michigan. The Wolverines came into Lincoln and man handled the Cornhuskers a few weeks ago. This week they can atone for the poor showing against the Wolves and beat the Spartans like a red-headed step-child.Michigan State has been on a down turn for a few years now and they just can not do what the Maze & Blue can do. NEBRASKA!

Texas at Florida 3:30 ET

Gators (+) over Longhorns - We have been hearing it for two years now and that Billy Napier the Florida head coach better win here. The Gators are 1-3 and have looked as bad as you can and still manged one win against ‘powerhouse’ Long Island University. The bet thing that you can say about their putrid offense is that their defense only allows 282 yards per game. The Gators can still bite on defense and they will be ready for the Texas traveling show with Archie Manning. The third generation quarterback got off to a rough start against Oho State but has steadily improved. The Longhorn defense is ranked No. 4 allowing just 212.5 PPG.Intangibliles must be a factor…take FLORIDA!   

Oregon State at Appalachian State 3:30 ET

Beavers over Mountaineers - I find this a bit eyebrow raising when I saw an opening line with Oregon State favored and I’m wondering why an 0-5 on the road is in that position. Appalachian State is not f the same caliber as years past, they are 2-2 and were blown out by the only two decent teams that they played. The Beavers can see this as maybe their best chance a t posting a win. As bad as they may be they still are a grade about App. State. Take OREGON STATE!

Phoenix at Las Vegas 8:00 ET

Mercury (+) over Aces - Las Vegas is looking for its their third WNBA title in the past four seasons. Phoenix is no stranger to the WNBA Finals as they have captured three championship rings themselves. The experts were expecting the Mercury to be in a rebuilding mode after the retirement of Diana Tuarasi and Brittany Griner’s departure. Starting the month of August Las Vegas was 14-14 and won their final 16 regular season games. The Aces have won the last three meetings and with this price so low it appears to me that they will win again. Take PHOENIX!

San Francisco at LA Rams 8:15 ET

49er’s / Rams - Whoa Nellie, this is getting out of whack, the line I mean. I’ve been looking forward to fade San Francisco and was hoping that this just might be the opportunity after have Jacksonville last week along with the Rams, both winners and now they face each other and the Rams were supposed to be my side. But, without Brock Purdy and their top two receivers the line has jumped to over a touchdown as Mac Jones will get the starting nod. Jones started in weeks 2 and 3 wins over Arizona and New Orleans and he was 53-80 66% with four TD passes and one interception. He’s had enough game experience starting 51 games with New England, Jacksonville and now San Francisco and he just needs a little help. Take SAN FRANCISCO!

Indiana at Las Vegas 9:30 ET

Fever (+) over  Aces - I believe Las Vegas is one win away from reaching the Finals and they way they have been playing since A’ja Wilson’s return they have been  steam rolling everyone in their sights. I’ve said it before Indiana has shown well this season, but without the class of the league (Clark) they were behind the 8-ball to start. I’d like to lay it here but, before I do I have to appreciate that this is an elimination game for the Fever and they will be intense from the opening tap until the final horn but, the cream always rises to the top. Take LAS VEGAS!

Cincinnati at Denver 8:00 ET

Bengals (+) over Broncos - Opening the Season with two win Cincinnati was riding high and feeling good about their quick start as opposed to previous years when they were just 1-9 in their two opening games the past five seasons. Then reality set in as Joe Burrow when down and they fell apart against Minnesota getting blown out 48-10. Now, the Bengals replacement quarterback is no slough it’s Jake Browning and he has had success as a backup QB in the past, but so far this season in six quarters he has thrown five interceptions. The Bengals experienced their worst road loss in franchise history and will look to protect the ball against a fierce Denver defense. So far, we have not seen the progress expected with Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. When you come down to it there is just so much Sean Payton can do…take CINCINNATI!

Green Bay at Dallas 8:20 ET

Cowboys (+) over Packers - Ha, “how ‘’bout ‘dem Cowboys”, yeah how about them. They really are a bad football team that doesn’t tackle people or defend the pass against wide open receivers and has probably the most ‘over-rated’ quarterback in the NFL. Green Bay will have a bye next week while Dallas is just concerned with not embarrassing themselves on Sunday night. The Packers have won and covered the past five meetings and 8-of-10 and Dallas hasn’t posted a win against them since 2016, although they out-gained the Packers yardage wise of four of those losses. This time around they get the money. Take DALLAS!  

Baltimore at Kansas City 4:25 ET

Chiefs (+) over Ravens - It can’t be…both of these clubs are 1-2 and one of them will be in serious position after this contest at 1-3. It appears to me that Kansas City would have a more difficult time coming back because of how much tougher the AFC West division is than the AFC North. This game is Waterloo for the Chiefs if they go down here. I really was looking forward to fading Kansas City this year but they are being put in situations early in the season that are ‘must’ wins. Take KANSAS CITY!   

Las Vegas at Indiana 3:00 ET

Fever (+) over Aces - I believe Las Vegas is one win away from reaching the Finals and they way they have been playing since A’ja Wilson’s return they have been  steam rolling everyone in their sights. Giants (+) over Chargers  - This is one of those games where I say ‘don’t worry about the mule being blind, just load the wagon.’ What I am saying that you have to ignore the facts and stats and play the side blindly. The Chargers have won three straight division games and now travel across the country to face New York who has yet to win because of making errors at crucial times. Russell Wilson is out and rookie Jaxson Dart will get his first NFL start at quarterback, and that always sends up a red flag as rookie QB’s do not fare well.  LA quarterback Justin Herbert leads the NFL in passing yards but took a physical beating last week against Denver. The Chargers will have to struggle to not overlook the Giants. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!  

BYU at Colorado 10:15 ET

Buffaloes (+) over Cougars - I sort of get the feeling that bettors or at least Bookmakers don’t believe that Dion Sanders is one of the better coaches in college football. These two met last December in the Alamo Bowl a game totally dominated the Cougars holding Colorado to two yard rushing and jus eight first downs in a 36-16 spanking. Both schools of had a ton of players depart thru NIL and other issues. The Buffaloes’ opening week loss to Georgia Tech was their first home loss after eight straight wins. Take COLORADO!

Oregon at Penn State 7:30 ET

Nittany Lions (-) over Ducks - James ‘Big Game’ Franklin has another opportunity to win game against a ranked team which he has struggled against throughout his coaching career. Year in and year out he’s pitted against superior team and just is never able to overcome mistakes and the fact that sometimes the opposition is just that much better. But, this year the media seems to think that Penn State has a legitimate shot at winning it all. They have always had great defense and now with a veteran quarterback (who has yet to shine this season) and a pair of running backs that may be the best duo in the nation. Oregon always presents the formula great speed and running backs but we are still waiting for them to come u defensively  I a big game. The ‘White Out’ bullshit really doesn’t mean all that much as far as an advantages going it is just more for the fans, No matter…take PENN STATE!

Alabama at Georgia 7:30 ET

Crimson Tide (+) over Bulldogs - Neither of these clubs is what they have been in recent years. But, it would be Alabama that has the most room to improve and the Bulldogs have more room to slip. Georgia may be a bit over-rated as they are 0-2-1 ATS after playing a pair of weak sister before defeating Tennessee 44-41 two weeks ago in Knoxville getting a -3 push. The trend is not new Georgia has covered just two of their last 10 games and one of those ATS wins was against the same Volunteers last November. The Tide has had two week to prepare as well as Georgia and have won a pair of ATS covers after an opening loss to Florida State. Both offense are pretty much equal bit the Tide own a defensive advantage and they have won nine of the past 10 meetings with the Bulldogs win coming in the 2021-22 National Championship game…take ALABAMA!

Indiana at Iowa 3:30 ET

Hawkeyes (+) over Hoosiers - Do you me in me NOW! That’s the cry of Indiana coach Curt Cignetti who raise the Hoosiers like a phoenix last season and most felt that there word be a regression in their play…NOT! Indiana (4-0) routed undefeated Illinois 63-10 last week and Cignetti sent a message to the rest of the conference and pollsters. Iowa has won the last four meetings and eight of the past nine and have covered the last four. The Hoosiers No. 2 offense averages over 250 more yards per game then the Iowa and they have the No. 3 ranked defense allowing just 205.8 YPG. Still, despite all the stats this game should play close. Take IOWA!

Ohio State at Washington 3:30 ET

Huskies (+) over Buckeyes - No. 1 Ohio State has won and covered their last seven games with their last defeat 13-10 versus Michigan. Washington has won all three games this season including last week against arch-rival Washington State 59-24. The Buckeyes will be playing their first road game of the season and that always makes things a little more difficult with first time experiences. The Huskers have won 22 straight games at home and I’ll be glad to take the points here. Take WASHINGTON  

Central Florida at Kansas State 12:00 ET

Wildcats (-) over Panthers - This is the single most ‘out of whack’ line that I have seen this season. Central Florida is 3-0 with their latest win over North Carolina while Kansas State is 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS having even lost to a weak Army team. As a matter of fact the Panthers are 0-6 ATS in their last six and 1-9 ATS in their last 10. So, who is this team such a heavy favorite when their lone win came by 3-points as a 22.5 point favorite over North Dakota State scoring the winning touchdown with :42 seconds remaining. Something is up here. If not I read it wrong and the Panthers are an easy winner…there is no such thing bookies don’t just hand you winners. Take KANSAS STATE

Las Vegas at Indiana 7:30 ET

Aces (-) over Fever - The cream is rising to the top and the Las Vegas Axes are taking over. Indiana has made a good run at it considering they played all but 13 games without Caitlin Clark, and I say again that their time has run out and the Aces are full playing full bore. Las Vegas had an 18 game winning streak stopped and then recovered to where they are ready for the WNBA Finals looking to recapture the title. Aces continue to dominate the Fever who they have defeated 12 times in the last 16 meetings. Play LAS VEGAS!

Florida State at Virginia 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Seminoles - It already have been a bounce back year for Virginia whose program had hit the skids. The Cavaliers hit the NIL trail big time and have North Texas State QB transfer Chandler Morris (and they are 11th in the nation scoring 45.5 points per game. Florida State is making a comeback of sorts them selves and are No. 12 in scoring defense allowing just 10 points per games. But on offense is where they really shine leading the nation in scoring (58ppg) and yards per games (628.7ypg). Seminoles quarterback Tommy Castellanos is questionable and even if he plays just how will he perform. Take VIRGINA!

Cardinals (+) over Seahawks - This division meeting has both clubs 2-1 in the jammed up NFL West with the 49ers leading the pack.at 3-0.  Arizona struggled offensively against San Francisco and will now be without running back James Conner. Most feel that this is a huge loss but I do not. A good player yes and a plus to any offense but he is not going to break that play and score from anything outside the five yard line. Seattle has come to play and crushed the Saints with only an opening week loss to the Niners. The Seahawks have the season stats on their side but the Red Birds will own the intangibles. Take ARIZONA!  

Indiana at Las Vegas 3:00 ET

Aces (-) over Fever - Indiana has made a good run at it considering they played all but 13 games without Caitlin Clark. But, their time has run out and the Aces are full playing with five all-round players. Las Vegas had an 18 game winning stopped and recovered to where they are one game away for the WNBA Finals looking to recapture the title. The Fever have won the last two meetings in July but Vegas had won the eight previous meetings and 8-of-10 have gone under including the last six meetings. Play LAS VEGAS.  

Detroit at Baltimore 8:15 ET

Lions (+) over Ravens - Both of these clubs were upset opening week and responded with convincing victories in Week 2. Baltimore crushed Cleveland after blowing a fourth quarter lead to Buffalo and Detroit bounced back from their beat down at the hands of Green Bay destroyed Chicago last week. The Ravens have won the last five meetings and six of seven between the two. Jackson has always puts on a show when showcased nationally but the Lions will roar. Take DETROIT!

Kansas City at New York Giants 8:20 ET

Giants (+) over Chiefs - Here I am telling everyone all preseason to fade the Chiefs and I go out and post them against Philadelphia last week…big mistake. Now, a lot of things happen in the NFL where we say ‘gee I never saw that comin’. Sort of like if Kansas City opening the season 0-3…could happen, in another world. You would be talking about Russell Wilson besting Patrick Mahomes. Personally I just don’t see it. But, with the lack of respect that is given to New York it makes me believe they will battle this one to the final possession. I like the points with the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS!

Dallas at Chicago 1:00 ET

Bears (+) over Cowboys  - The Dallas offense exploded in the final quarter against the Giants last Sunday and if that is a sign of what is to come the bears are in big trouble. Chicago has allowed and NFL high 79 points. The Cowboys with the departure of Micah Parsons allowed an aging Russell Wilson to throw 450 yards a day like that he hasn’t seen since the pandemic. Growling throughout the week, the Bears regroups here and forces Dak Prescott revert to his established form and mediocrity. Take CHICAGO!

Denver ar LA Chargers 5:05 ET

Broncos (+) over Chargers - LA enters this game 2-0 and are seeking their third straight AFC West division win while Denver is one late penalty away from being undefeated. The attitude of Hargbaugh has evolved from a run first to the Justin Herbert show, something we have all be waiting for. Bo Nix was outstanding in the loss to the Colts going 22 of 30 with three TD’s with 1 INT. LA won both meetings last season and Sean Payton knows the importance of this contest. Take DENVER!

Indianapolis at Tennessee 1:00 ET

Titans (+) over Colts - Okay having used Indianapolis as my Highest-rated Megabucks plays and winning them both had me so tempted to come back again with a Megabucks release but I had to back off. The Colts won twice at home as underdogs and now take to the road as a favorite and I will play against that. I would have upgraded this selection other than the fact that Tennessee is starting a rookie quarterback and even the best struggle when introduced into the NFL.Great spot to fade the visitor. Take TENNESSEE!

Green Bay at Cleveland 1:00 ET

Browns (+) over Packers - Cleveland’s losing streak is at eight games going back to December 2 and they haven’t been much better ATS going 1-7 with their only ‘cash’ was Week 1 against Cincinnati on opening day. Green Bay has the extra rst after a win over Washington but in today’s NFL that is nothing special. The Browns are at a minus-4 in turnovers a problem QB Joe Flacco addressed to his offense during the week. The Browns lead the NFL in total defense allowing just 191.5 yards per game. Take CLEVELAND!  

Atlanta at Carolina 1:00

Panthers (+) over Falcons - After bowing to Tampa Bay in Week 1 Atlanta had a dominating performance last Sunday night against Minnesota. Carolina of course is 0-2 but showed some life with a backdoor cover against Arizona in a game they trail 27-3. At least that shows they haven’t quit yet on the season and it gives them a fighting chance against a middle rung team like the Falcons. the Panthers had 26 first downs last week 10 more than they allowed they look forward to their first win. Tske CAROLINA!

Arizona State at Baylor 7:30 ET

Sun Devils (+) over Bears - Although this is the first meeting between these two in 35 years this could be the best game of the weekend not only because they both are really good football teams that are well coached and they need this decision to enhance their chances to receive a bid to the FBS Championship 12 team tournament. The Sun Devils are undervalued and have a running game that can put the Bears on their heels. Take ARIZONA STATE!

Florida at Miami-Fl 7:30 ET

Gators (+) over Hurricanes - This could be the deciding game pertaining to Florida coach Billy Napier’s future. The Gators (1-2) are the only team among the 18 in the SEC that is under .500 and after losing as an 18-point favorite at home to South Florida they better be ready to bite. Miami has been impressive but I can’t help but remember all the times the Hurricanes have let everyone down falling apart as the season wears on after a fast start. Take FLORIDA!

Illinois at Indiana 7:00 ET

Hoosiers (-) over Illini - Many people so I hear believe that the coaching natch-up is a toss up and therefore the line should be a pick-em. So, they want to take the points with Illinois. But, to start with I believe that Indiana has the coaching edge and it is bigger than most would think. The Hoosiers shocked the NCAA expects last season so they won’t sneak up on anyone this year but they do have that coaching advantage. Too much of an over reaction to the Illini. Take INDIANA!

Auburn at Oklahoma 330 ET

Tigers (+) over Sooners - It seems a bit strange to me that this is a SEC game for both teams. No. 11 Oklahoma was Power Play winner for us against Michigan and I sort of see Auburn at the same level. The Sooners are coming off of a route over Temple when many thought that they might get caught in a look ahead to this one against the Tigers, but that won’t matter here. Auburn fell to the Sooners 27-21 at home last season and had more opportunities to win than they would like remember. But remember they do and they will get their pound of flesh here. Take AUBURN!

Michigan at Nebraska 3:30 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Wolverines - Michigan has defeated the Cornhuckers four straight times since they joined the Big Ten and they haven’t won a conference opener since 2019. Nebraska (3-0) has scored over 50 points in each of their past two games against Akron and Houston Christian. The Wolves were defeated in their lone road game at Oklahoma and bounced back against Central Michigan winning 63-3 but they are about to share the same fate on the road once again. Take NEBRASKA!

UNLV at Miami-O 12:00 ET

Redhawks (+) over Rebels - Yeah, I get it…I hope you see it too. UNLV comes in undefeated 3-0 having defeated Idaho State, Sam Houston State and the weakest UCLA team in 85 years. The Rebels are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall while Miami-O is 0-2 having played twice on the road and losing to Wisconsin and Rutgers. Now, not only did they get swamped but they have no ability to move the ball on the ground averaging just 3.4 yard a carry. So, why then is the line so low, we all know that the MAC is one of the worst out of conference records, so why? Maybe the line is where it is because Redhawks played real football teams (poorly and they were totally outclassed. The books must feel that UNLV is a step down…a big step. I can’t tell you what is going to happen but I will be wagering on the Redhawks. Take MIAMI-O!

Iowa at Rutgers 8:00 ET

Scarlet Knights (+) over Hawkeyes - Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz is looking to change Iowa’s ‘3-yards and a cloud of dust’ offense as his top running back will miss this encounter. They are known as a one-dimensional team that runs the ball and now they are force into a passing game. It doesn’t happen overnight. Rutgers is tending up and their overall play gaining Big Ten respect. Take RUTGERS!

Seattle at Las Vegas 9:30 ET

Storm (+) over Aces - Las Vegas had their 16 game winning streak end last time out as Seattle stormed back in the fourth quarter after trailing Las Vegas by nine points. Seattle closed the game on a 23-8 run and have stolen away the momentum in this playoff series. Often after a team has a winning streak broken they have trouble getting their mind set right the next time out. Take SEATTLE!

Miami at Buffalo 8:15 ET

Dolphins (+) over Bills - Gosh, is this gonna be ugly. Miami is on their way to establishing to everyone just how bad they really are and a blowout loss here would just re-enforce what the populous is thinking. Buffalo is on their way to the No. 1 seed in the AFC after coming from behind to defeat the Ravens and then steamrolling the Jets. The Bills have won six straight meetings and 9-of-10 and are 12-2 with Josh Allen as the starter. Miami, after falling behind 12-0 early against New England and they came back to take a 27-23 lead before a late INT put the Patriots ahead for good. They will be better focused with big effort. Take MIAMI!

Phoenix at New York 8:00 ET

Mercury (+) over Liberty - After the quick start and the history of these clubs it is kind of a surprise that they ended the season with identical records. New York is 6-4 in the past 10 meeting but Phoenix captured 3-of-5 this season. The price on this confrontation is way low because most likely Liberty star Breanna Steward will be sidelined. The Mercury enter losing their last four games and are 0-6 ATS in their last six overall. New York has won their last four games SU and yet after what these clubs are doing the line is too easy to lay. Take PHOENIX!

Las Vegas at Seattle 9:30 ET

Storm (+) over Aces - I know and understand what the Aces are doing, I live in Las Vegas and see it everyday. With the return of A’ja Wilson (3-time MVP) the team looks unbeatable. Seattle is worthy of playoff spot and won a pair of the five meetings between the two this season. The ATS records the last 10 for these two is like a mirror image and I don’t mean the same, I mean totality opposite. Las Vegas is 7-2-1 ATS while the Storm are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 while the Storm won six of those Las Vegas has won their last 16 straight up including the Game One blowout playoff win. The Storm will  come out trying to avoid anther embarrassment. Take SEATTLE!

LA Chargers at Las Vegas 10:00 ET

Raiders (+) over Chargers - I believe that the two coaches in tonight battle are the strongest part of each club’s make up. There is no love loss between Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh who met three times when both were coaching in the PAC-12. In 2007 Stanford as a 41-point underdog defeated USC 55-21 and Carroll believed the Cardinal were running the scored up as they won 2 of 3 meetings. Carroll has the Raiders more organized, working harder, thinking and playing like professionals. The attitude and confidence of Las Vegas is at a much higher level than the previous regime. Geno Smith although not an elite quarterback has settled the most important position on the field. Chargers are a legitimate threat but will fall short here. Take LAS VEGAS!

Falcons (+) over Vikings - It looks like another one of those years for Atlanta where they are in position to win a game and fail miserably although often out playing their opponent. Minnesota’s win over Chicago was just the opposite as they were out played most of the game but some how when it counted most they rose to the occasion. JJ McCarthy looked like the rookie he is for the first three quarters and then man-oh-man did he look good. Sort of Brady like! Honest, I watched his movement and his passes were right on time and on target. But, the Falcons have enough the fly high here with Penix. Take ATLANTA!

Philadelphia at Kansas City 4:25 ET

Chiefs (+) over Eagles - Okay, I’ll start here. Like the Super Bowl when Philadelphia was a small favorite and the Chiefs were the reigning champions the match up looks one sided. Kansas City never impressed anyone last season as their guile and experience got them to the Big Game. But, looking at that game and the way the Kansas City has played in the preseason and in their opener against the Chargers I feel that the defending Champs should be more like six point favorite. This will be the 11th meeting between the previous Super Bowl combatants and the reigning champs have won seven of the 10. But, this looks way too easy (to me) to lay the points. Take KANSAS CITY!

Denver at Indianapolis 4:05 ET

Colts (+) over Broncos - Having used Indianapolis as my Megabucks winner last week has me drawn to them again and they are up against the perfect opponent. Denver opening the season at home with a win over Tennessee who may but the weakest team in the NFL with a rookie quarterback in Cam Ward. Denver is the people’s choice as a dark horse selection which will play against them before the season’s end. But, it is Indianapolis who I predicted would be the dark horse AFC play of the year and they won their opener by the largest margin. To me, it was just a matter of the Colts going with a professional at quarterback. Anthony Richard may not even be a football player much less a starting NFL QB and his replacement might not be elite but he a IS professional. The media still going nuts over Bo Nix and I don’t think he was all that impressive in week one. Take INDIANAPOLIS

New York Giants at Dallas 1:05 ET

Giants (+) over Cowboys - Man, do I hate writing this game up. I don’t expect much out of either side although after week One is appears Dallas has at one leg up on the Giants. New York like most of last season had their chances against Washington leaving the ball inside the 10 twice and having to settle for a field goal after eight tries from inside the three yard line. Dallas gave it the old college try in their opener at Philadelphia but they just didn’t have enough to get over he hump although they got the cash. It’s a matter of numbers Russell Wilson was 17- of 37 and I expect that to improve dramatic and look for rookie running back Cam Skattebo to lay t on the Cowboys. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

Buffalo at New York Jets 1:00 ET

Jets (+) over Bills - This is another side that is causing me to hold down my vomit. The New York Jets do everything that has to be done to lost games especially with double digit lead in the fourth quarter. So, now they have a twice failed quarterback who has possibly his best career outing and they fumble ans stumble it away in the final 15 minutes although they did get the money against Pittsburgh. Buffalo must have thought that they were in the final quarter against the Jets they way the Ravens laid down. But, not tonight. After their win last Sunday night over the Ravens the Bills must feel that other than showing up there isn’t much for them to be concerned about. But, this is the NFL and stranger things have happened (at this moment I can’t think of any but I sure somewhere…). Jets will be playing to win as displayed by Aaron Glenn going for two-points in the first quarter with the score 9-7…he failed. They are always try

Minnesota at California 10:00 ET

Golden Gophers over Golden Bears - Okay, this has got to be the ‘Bogus Game of the Week.’ By that, I mean the line on this game seems a bit out of whack with California undefeated instituted as an underdog to Minnesota. The Golden Gophers opened the season with a pair of home games against a pair of cream-puffs and were favored by a total 61-points against Buffalo and Northwestern State. Minny coach PJ Fleck led his club to 10 ATS wins in their last 11 games overall. Cal is too good to be an underdog here. Lay it with MINNESOTA!

Florida at LSU 3:30 ET

Gators (+) over Tigers - There are number of reasons I rate this game so high and that is LSU’s coaching and Florida’s total humiliation last week. It seems after defeating Clemson 17-10 and Louisiana Tech last week when they held the Bulldogs to 158 total offensive yards. To start wit Clemson as usual is way over rated and LA Tech is well, LA Tech! LSU has been pushed up to No. 3 and I when the smoke clears in December I would bet the Tigers will NOT be one of the final 12 FBS teams selected for the tournament. The Gators ended a five game slid to the Tigers last season and stilled averaged 35.1 points during the slide and they had won the previous three meetings as an underdog with Saturday. Take FLORIDA!

Arkansas at Mississippi 7:30 ET

Rebels (-) over Razorbacks - This was one of the first games that struck my eye and there has been nothing to deter me. The price has dropped steadily and more of the experts like the Razorbacks after having seen a game where the totaled 717 yards on offense. I played like the anti-Christ last week and used Kentucky (+8.5) as my Megabucks release and they win 23-30 as my highest-rated winner last Saturday. The Rebels opened the same price against the Razorbacks as they did Kentucky and they are supposed to be better. The books like the home team and so do I. Take Ole Miss opened the same price against a stronger Arkansas team, and it has been bet down so far…take MISSISSIPPI!

South Florida at Miami-Fl 7:00 ET

Hurricanes (-) over Bulls - The question of how good is South Florida after defeating a pair of ranked teams. The Bulls opened the season as a Power Play winner for us beating Boise State outright and then taking down Florida in Gainesville last Saturday. Miami started the season by taking down Notre Dame 27-24 and then played a walk-over game against Bethune Cookman 45-3 as they held the undermanned Wildcats to 189 yards in total offense. Ambushing Boise State and then upsetting the Gators is another but they are not going to sneak up on anybody anymore. The Hurricanes will be paying close attention to details here and limit their mistakes which will be the death nil of the Bulls. Take MIAMI-FL

Georgia at Tennessee 3:30 ET

Volunteers (+) over Bulldogs - Being in the SEC we think first that any team in that conference is always competitive. Well, Tennessee may be great against other teams they play out of conference but, there in one team that they just can not compete with…Georgia. The Bulldogs have won eight straight in the series with seven ATS wins. the Vols must look like dog food for the team from Athens as their yardage advantage in game by game has been +140 yards last season and moving backward +205, +98, +100, +217, +187, +232, and +235. It has nine years since Tennessee out gained the Bulldogs. But, things change, and  the Volunteers have gained an advantage on the field offensively. Take TENNESSEE!

Wisconsin at Alabama 12:00 ET

Crimson Tide (-) over Badgers - The price Alabama has to lay is more of an indication of how far Wisconsin has slipped. The fall of the Badgers has been swift as the closed the 2024 season with five straight losses and at 5-7 did not receive a bowl bid. The Tide crushed the Badgers on the road last season and now they will complete the tow-game sweep with a crushing win early Saturday. I happen to believe Whisky coach Luke Fickell is in over his head. Last season host Alabama they were crushed 42-10…more of the same. Take ALABAMA!

Kansas State at Arizona 9:00 ET

Wildcats (KS) over Wildcats - Kansas State was truly embarrassed by their second-half performance against the Army. It is not just that they lost to the Cadets but looking at the second-half they scored once on a kick-off return and other wise had the ball for seven plays total and their time of possession was just 19:28 of 60 and 27 of 30 minutes in the second half. Arizona has dominated a pair of weak sisters out scoring Hawaii and Weber State 88-9 and have not allowed a touchdown. This will not stand. K.State hung out with Iowa State in Ireland and they can hang out here. Take KANSAS STATE!

Washington at Green Bay 8:15 ET

Redskins (+) over Packers - Many bettors were looking for Washington to regress this season but, when you open the season against a team like the Giants it is difficult to tell if they did even if they didn’t seem to play all that well. Green Bay had their way with Detroit from start to finish and were never headed or threatened taking a 17-3 half-time lead and hold the Lions to 46 yards rushing. But, scores can be deceiving as the Packers held the ball for just 24:35 minutes and held a 27-6 lead with under a minute to go. The Commies put up 432 yards against New York as Jayden Daniels led the way and their defense held the Jints to just 231 total yards. Take WASHINGTON!

Golden State at Minnesota 8:00 ET

Valkyries (+) over Lynx - Golden State who is 23-20 entering the final game of their inaugural season has had what might be considered the best year for an expansion team in any professional league. The Valkyries are 27-15-1 ATS which is really remarkable although they have dropped their last two games and they hold a 2-1 series lead against the best of the WNBA this season. Minnesota has already clinched the No. 1 seed and should take this game off because a win or a loss changes nothing for them and they have already dropped 2-of-3. Take GOLDEN STATE!

Washington at New York 7:00 ET

Liberty (-) over Mystics - Washington is out of the playoffs and have lost nine -in-a-row and are facing New York the defending WNBA champions. The Liberty just ended a five game road losing streak and have won the last five meetings against the Mystics. This is the final game of the season for Washington and if they were in the NBA their gold bags would already be pack but for the Mystics it’s a trip to Baltimore. Liberty looking to get it all right for the playoffs. Take NEW YORK!

Minnesota at Chicago 8:15 ET

Bears over Vikings - Okay, let us take a close look this match up  and compare the number between these two division rivals. Minnesota captured the title running away from the rest of their competitors and now are a virtual pick-em against Chicago which was one of the worst teams in the NFL last season and this battle is listed as a toss-up. With a rookie at quarterback the Vikings may have taken a step back this season.Take CHICAGO!

San Francisco at Seattle 4:05 ET

Seahawks (+) over 49ers - Last November Seattle ended a six game losing streak with a 20-17 victory over the Niners. San Francisco closed the year losing their final four games and seven of the last eight. The Seahawks closed the season with two straight wins and six wins in their last eight games. They finished 10-7 last season and missed the playoff because they won just three of nine home games. The 49ers have the easiest schedule in the NFL but it won’t help much. Take SEATTLE!  

Miami at Indianapolis 1:00 ET

Colts over Dolphins - Both of these clubs won eight of 17 games last season with just about the issues for each of these respective clubs. Miami had quarterback Tua go down and they just don’t have a backup they can make up for their defensive inefficiencies. Indianapolis had just about the same problem as their QB’s were inexperienced and or injured. The Colts defense suffered remaining on the field way too long. Daniel Jones will surprise the rest of the AFC as his experience and game management will be a key factor. Take INDIANAPOLIS!

Carolina at Jacksonville 1:00 ET

Panthers over Jaguars - The NFL was smart in pitting these two also-rans against each other in the season’s opening game, as this way mostly likely one of these dregs will be able to have a winning record for a day. Jacksonville has a new coach in Liam Coen he was an offensive coordinator for Kentucky in 2023 did the same for Tampa Bay last season, and now his third job in three years. Panthers head coach Dave Canales held the Tampa Bay OC job before Coen at Tampa. Travis Hunter can only play one position and the Jags just haven’t figured out what position that happens to be. New York Giants at Washington 1:00 ET

Giants (+) over Commies - Washington shocked the NFL world with their playoff run last season closing the regular season with six straight wins and then a huge upset of No. 1 seed Detroit in the playoffs. New York closed the year losing 9-of-10 and actually had the former Redskins on the ropes in head-to-head meetings. In week two the Giants lost their kicker on the opening play and after scoring three touchdowns in the game but they failed on three extra-points. Washington did NT score a TD but had seven field goals and it is the only time a team scored three touchdowns while NOT allowing a touchdown had lost. This time they convert. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

Tampa Bay at Atlanta 1:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Buc’s - Tampa Bay has won a record four straight NFC South division titles and last season Atlanta handed the title to the Buccaneers the final weeks of the season losing to Washington and then Carolina. The Buc’s have been hit with a slew of injuries on defense and even Chris Goodwin their leading offensive player will be sidelined. Second year head coach Raheem Morris has second year QB Michael Penix who at 25 has a world of experience. The Falcons actually swept the series last season and have won four of the past five meetings. Take ATLANTA!

Michigan at Oklahoma 7:30 ET

Sooners (-) over Wolverines -  Two of the most storied college football programs will go at it in Norman, Oklahoma as the Sooners host Michigan. I saw this line open at minus -1.5 and the sharps pushed it to -6 immediately and since the public has taken the Wolverines driving the price down. The Maze and Blue were unimpressive (34-17) in their opening week win over New Mexico while Oklahoma was toying with Illinois State 35-3. This number just makes it look too easy to take the points with the Wolverines.  My gut says…take OKLAHOMA!

South Florida at Florida 4:15 ET

Gators (-) over Bulls - Once a gator takes out a bulls legs in is helpless, as will be the South Florida Bulls when the Florida Gators eat up their ground game. USF was badly out-gained in their huge win against an over-rated Boise State team that virtually quit in the second half. The Bulls were the receivers of five Broncos fumbles and 12 penalties. Now this time, this IS a step up in class, way above the MWC level.  Take FLORIDA!

Mississippi at Kentucky 3:30 ET

Wildcats (+) over Rebels - Revenge must be on the mind of Mississippi as the Wildcats defeated the Rebels with a six yard fumble return in the final minutes to win 20-17 as a 15.5-point underdog. But Kentucky can justify the win as the totaled more first downs and total yards. Ole Miss had a ‘walk over’ defeating Georgia State 63-7 rolling with 695 yards on total offense while allowing just 69 yards passing. The ‘Blue Grassers’ will need a better performance out of 3-time transfer quarterback Zach Calzada who was 10 of 23 in the 24-16 win over Toledo, he threw 35 for TD’s for Iowa last season. He’ll do better…Take KENTUCKY!

Iowa at Iowa State 12:00 ET

Hawkeyes (+) over Cyclones - Jet lag…nah! After winning in Ireland Iowa State has already returned to the USA and posted a 55-7 win over South Dakota which does nothing more than set this game up. The lag hits them here. Iowa has had the best of these two winning seven of the past nine SU while Iowa State is coming off of a 20-19 upset win as a 3-point dog last season. The Cyclones won a school record high 11 games last season and I expect a bit of regression after a banner year. Take IOWA!

Illinois at Duke 12:00 ET

Blue Devils (+) over Illini - Duke will surprise a number of people this season and an over-rated Illinois squad is perfect fodder for the Blue Devils.Thee two clubs have one thing in common they are both much better at home then when asked to travel/ Duke has won 17 of their past 20 home games and come up the underdog here. Meanwhile back at the ranch Duke Millio dollar NIL investment QB Darian Mensah is proving his worth. Take DUKE!

Baylor at SMU 12:00 ET

Bears (+) over Mustangs - These two Texas schools started playing each other 125 years ago but this is their first meeting in nine years. I always hesitate when I look to be playing against SMU because they have been so good to me throughout the years starting with Rom Meyer and Eric Dickerson. But. I really like this spot wit a beaten home favor taking to the road as an underdog. Baylor came on strong at the end of last season and SMU has seen too many quality player leave for one reason or another. Take BAYLOR!  

LA Sparks at Atlanta 7:30 ET

Sparks (+) over Dreams - Atlanta’s dreams may be coming through as they have won three straight and 12-of-15 and lead Las Vegas and Phoenix by a half-game for the #2 seed. Los Angeles trails Indiana by 1.5 games for the eighth and final playoff spot. The Dream have had their best WNBA season ever and won only 15 games last year but tonight, they fall to a team in need. Take LA SPARKS!

Dallas at Philadelphia 8:15 ET

Cowboys (+) over Eagles - I am still waiting to hear something good come out of the Dallas camp as all the news have been negative. From quarterbacking, the lack of running backs, a new head coach, to contracts and defensive woes the Cowboys have to feel like the entire media and fan base and whole world has no faith in them. Philadelphia knows it is a long season and will probably regress from last years Super Bowl winning performance. Oh, the Eagles will come out strong but somehow the Cowboys will get the cash. Take DALLAS!

Los Angeles at Atlanta 7:30 ET

Dream over Sparks - In the past two years these two clubs have met four times with Atlanta winning and covering all four including a pair of victories this season. The Dream have finally made the playoffs and they are going in hot having won 10 of their last 13 games overall. The Sparks need some help as they enter the final week of the regular season and currently are out of the post season pitcher. LA has won their last two games but the Dream would like to put them asleep now and not have to worry about them later. Take ATLANTA!
