3*LA Chargers +3 The LA Chargers want to see Max Duggan in the second half. He won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award in 2022 with TCU. PJ Walker will play a lot in the second half for Seattle. He has a 54.6% completion percentage and a 19.2 QBR in his career. His 2.6 yards per carry average doesn’t scare me. He has thrown 6 touchdowns with 16 interceptions, and now he has to learn a new offense. The Chargers have a significant edge in the trenches, even with backups. Jim Harbaugh is 10-6 SU and 10-6 ATS in the preseason. He wants to win this preseason game, his first NFL appearance in a decade, to send a message to the NCAA about the unjust suspension.

5*Cincinnati Bengals +4.5 The Bengals, coming off a tie last Thursday, have a fierce competition for their backup QB. Both will be motivated to perform against the Commanders, who are coming off an emotional victory on MNF, where their offense was on the field for 81 plays. The road team has a substantial net rest and preparation advantage of 4+ days. The Bengals would like to end the preseason with a 1-1-1 record by beating the team that just snapped Baltimore's 24-game preseason win streak. Take the dog!

3*New England Patriots +3 During the past week, these teams had joint practices. I admire the Patriots' coaching staff in these situations. The Packers won big in week one and don't need to show much. New England has two QBs who can run, an advantage in the second half. Bet on the underdog.

4*Cincinnati Bengals +6.5 Jake Browning, a skilled quarterback with two years of experience in the Bengals' system, will lead the team in the second half of the game. He has demonstrated his abilities through impressive performances in all three preseason games last season. Although Green Bay crushed the Bengals, they have significant potential, making the point spread seem overly generous. Notably, 0-1 underdogs of 6 or more points, playing against 1-0 teams, have covered the spread 61% in week two.

3*Tennessee Titans +3.5 The Titans are using a three-quarterback rotation and plan to bring in Malik Willis, known for his ability to run and throw, during the second half of the game. In preseason games against third and fourth-string defenses, it's wise to support quarterbacks with a solid running game. Additionally, since it will be a hot day, this will further favor a quarterback who can run. While there are high hopes for the Chicago team this season, you'll unlikely see many of their top players on the field. Therefore, I recommend betting on the underdog.

5*Denver Broncos +1 This game means a lot more to the Broncos after losing 42-15 at Buffalo last week. Denver allowed 510 total yards, 208 rushing yards, and 32 First-downs. I love playing on teams returning home off a blowout loss. I watched Kevin O'Connell presser today and there was no mention of a game plan for this game. He said we're trying to get ready for the Green Bay Packers in week one. The Vikings traded for QB Nick Mullens, which means less reps in practice for the other two QBs that will play most of the game. My best handicap is the fact that the Minnesota Vikings will be playing their first game outdoors this preseason. The Broncos have a huge home field edge in August. Take the hungry host!

5*Miami Dolphins +2 This will be the Raiders' third game in 16 days. Lots of travel--- to Cleveland than back home and now another flight to the East Coast. Miami's humidity and dew point are the highest of any NFL city, even at 7:00 PM E. Las Vegas will be "gassed" by the second half after playing indoors this past Saturday. The Raiders have allowed nine sacks in their first two games. Wow! Don't expect their starters to play much. Also, Josh McDaniels and company play the Patriots next week. I like the Dolphins QB rotation for this game. Take the home dog!

5*Denver Broncos -2 The Broncos have a big advantage playing at home in the preseason and early in the regular season. Opposing teams are completely "gassed" by the second half. Nathaniel Hackett would like to win his debut and the Broncos have a much better QB rotation than Dallas. Take the home team!
