08-06-13 Baltimore Orioles -128 v. San Diego Padres 4-1 Win 100 12 h 43 m Show
5*Baltimore Orioles -128 (Norris/Volquez)
08-02-13 San Francisco Giants v. Tampa Bay Rays -133 4-1 Loss -133 18 h 30 m Show
5*Tampa Bay Rays -133 (Bumgarner/Archer)

Both teams have never faced the opposing pitcher, however a few Rays' players have faced Bumgarner. Madison has been much better at home (2.25 ERA) than away from AT&T Park (3.25 ERA). August has been a bit rough for Bumgarner over the past three years. Batters are hitting .260 against him, which is the second highest of any month. The big thing for me is that the Giants have not played in any Dome game this season. It's been at least three years since they have. The Rays are batting .291 vs. left-handed starters at home. Tampa Bay is 10-2 when facing an NL team this year. The Giants are 2-6 in Interleague games this season, while batting just .203 as a team.

07-20-13 Tampa Bay Rays -105 v. Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 Win 100 13 h 29 m Show
4*Tampa Bay Rays -101 (Hellickson/Buehrle)

The Rays are batting .282 vs. left-handed starters. This team has the look of a long winning streak. The Rays had a team meeting before yesterday's game to remind each player what is at stake.
07-19-13 Philadelphia Phillies +100 v. New York Mets 13-8 Win 100 20 h 35 m Show
4*Philadelphia +100 (Kendrick/Hefner)
07-14-13 Toronto Blue Jays v. Baltimore Orioles -134 4-7 Win 100 10 h 41 m Show
4*Baltimore -134 (Johnson/Feldman)

07-10-13 Oakland A's v. Pittsburgh Pirates -134 0-5 Win 100 21 h 58 m Show
4*Pittsburgh Pirates -134 (Milone/Liriano)

Francisco Liriano has been awesome when his team needs him the most. The Pirates will look to break out their mini slump before an off day on Thursday. The Pirates are 9-2 before a day off between games. Liriano has won 8 out of his last 10 starts when his team is coming off more than one loss in a row. Take the home team!
07-08-13 Oakland A's v. Pittsburgh Pirates -113 2-1 Loss -113 21 h 30 m Show
4*Pittsburgh Pirates -113 (Colon/Locke)
07-06-13 Chicago White Sox v. Tampa Bay Rays -136 0-3 Win 100 20 h 47 m Show
4*Tampa Bay Rays -136 (Sale/Moore)
07-05-13 Pittsburgh Pirates -122 v. Chicago Cubs 6-2 Win 100 13 h 24 m Show
4*Pittsburgh Pirates -122 (Liriano/Samardzija)
07-03-13 Seattle Mariners v. Texas Rangers -131 4-2 Loss -131 20 h 18 m Show
5*Texas Rangers -131 (Hernandez/Holland)

The Rangers left a season-high 24 total runners on base in Tuesday's loss. They had 11 hits but only 2 runs. Felix Hernandez is a stud but has struggled at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. He is just 1-3 with a 4.88 ERA since 2010 when pitching in Texas. The Rangers are hitting .304 vs. Hernandez over the last three seasons in Texas. Holland is 18-9 at home since 2010, and 5-1 vs. Seattle with a 3.74 ERA. The Mariners are batting .209 vs. left-handed starters on the road. Take the home team!
07-02-13 San Francisco Giants v. Cincinnati Reds -152 0-3 Win 100 19 h 50 m Show
3*Cincinnati Reds -152 (Lincecum/Baily)

4*Minnesota Twins -131 (Guthrie/Deduno)
06-26-13 Los Angeles Angels v. Detroit Tigers -137 7-4 Loss -137 19 h 54 m Show
4*Detroit Tigers -137 (Hanson/Alvarez)
06-25-13 Cleveland Indians v. Baltimore Orioles -124 3-6 Win 100 17 h 56 m Show
4*Baltimore Orioles -124 (Masterson/Tillman)

4*Atlanta Braves -122 (Maholm/Figaro)
06-21-13 Baltimore Orioles v. Toronto Blue Jays -134 6-7 Win 100 21 h 35 m Show
5*Toronto Blue Jays -134 (Hammel/Dickey)

The Orioles have not played indoors in about one month. Huge advantage for the home team in game one of this series. R.A. Dickey is 11-2 with a 2.02 ERA in the month of JUNE over the last three seasons. Teams are batting just .193 against him in June over the last three seasons. Take the home team!
06-20-13 Boston: J Lackey v. Detroit: J Alvarez -123 3-4 Win 100 18 h 17 m Show
5*Detroit Tigers -123 (Lackey/Alvarez)

The Tigers matchup against John Lackey very well. They will be focused after getting blown out by the O's yesterday. Boston is batting just .229 vs left-handed starters on the road. Take the home team!
06-19-13 San Diego Padres v. San Francisco Giants -144 2-4 Win 100 15 h 14 m Show
5*SF Giants -144 (Stults/Bumgarner)

The Giants are 8-1 in Bumgarners last 9 starts vs. SD. SF is hitting .291 vs. left-handed starters at home. I don't think Stults is a good match-up in this spot. Take the home team!
06-17-13 Pittsburgh Pirates v. Cincinnati Reds -115 1-4 Win 100 2 h 30 m Show
4*Cincinnati Reds -115 (Liriano/Leake)

05-17-13 Chicago White Sox v. Los Angeles Angels -112 3-0 Loss -112 22 h 8 m Show
5*LA Angels -112 (Sale/Wilson)

Chris Sale defeated CJ Wilson just 5 days ago. I like the LA Angels in the rematch.
05-15-13 Colorado Rockies v. Chicago Cubs -132 3-6 Win 100 4 h 34 m Show
5*
05-14-13 San Diego Padres v. Baltimore Orioles -127 3-2 Loss -127 19 h 8 m Show
5*Baltimore Orioles -127 (Cashner/Tillman)

This line should be closer to -150. Chris Tillman is a rising star and the Orioles are just flat-out more talented than the road team.
05-12-13 Colorado Rockies +150 v. St. Louis Cardinals 8-2 Win 150 13 h 26 m Show
4*Colorado Rockies +150 (De La Rosa/Garcia)

The Rockies should bust out of their 4-game losing streak and 0-for-40 batting slump. Colorado is hitting .275 vs. left-handed starters. The Cards are hitting just .218 vs. left-handed starters and the team will be resting some key starters in this game.
05-09-13 Kansas City Royals v. Baltimore Orioles -113 6-2 Loss -113 7 h 48 m Show
4*Baltimore -113 (Guthrie/Garcia)
05-08-13 Kansas City Royals v. Baltimore Orioles -135 3-5 Win 100 18 h 24 m Show

5*Colorado Rockies -106 (Kuroda/De La Rosa)
05-07-13 Kansas City Royals v. Baltimore Orioles -120 3-4 Win 100 17 h 46 m Show
5*Baltimore Orioles -120 (Santana/Chen)
05-05-13 Tampa Bay Rays v. Colorado Rockies -110 8-3 Loss -110 17 h 44 m Show
4*Colorado Rockies -110 (Cobb/Chacin)
05-03-13 Los Angeles Dodgers -139 v. San Francisco Giants 1-2 Loss -139 23 h 36 m Show
4*LA Dodgers -139 (Kershaw/Zito)

The Dodgers are hitting .294 vs. left-handed starters and Clayton Kershaw has a 1.74 ERA in his career against the Giants. The Dodgers have revenge on their minds after the Giants won two of three at Dodger Stadium to open the season.
04-30-13 Baltimore Orioles -124 v. Seattle Mariners 7-2 Win 100 20 h 30 m Show
5*Baltimore -124 (Hammel/Maurer)
04-29-13 Cincinnati Reds v. St. Louis Cardinals -130 2-1 Loss -130 19 h 20 m Show
5*St. Louis Cardinals -130 (Latos/Wainwright)

The Cardinals need another strong performance from their ace, having dropped two in a row to fall
04-25-13 Baltimore: J Hammel +115 v. Oakland: J Parker 10-2 Win 115 21 h 44 m Show
4*Baltimore Orioles +115 (Hammel/Parker)
04-24-13 New York Yankees v. Tampa Bay Rays -125 0-3 Win 100 19 h 56 m Show
3*Tampa Bay Rays -125 (Pettitte/Cobb)
04-23-13 St Louis: Wainwright v. Washington: R Detwiler -102 2-0 Loss -102 9 h 14 m Show
3*Washington Nats -102 (Waineright/Detwiler)
04-18-13 Tampa Bay Rays v. Baltimore Orioles +115 6-10 Win 115 19 h 25 m Show
4*Baltimore Orioles +115

The Orioles are hitting .281 vs. Left-handed starters and Baltimore has been solid coming off a loss in which they collect 5 hits or less.
04-17-13 Boston Red Sox v. Cleveland Indians -133 6-3 Loss -133 19 h 29 m Show
4*Cleveland Indians -133 (Aceves/Masterson)

Justin Masterson has found something in his mechanics that has cliked this season. The burly sinkerballer has logged 19 consecutive innings without yielding a run. Cleveland left a season-high 19 runners on base in last night's loss. Look for a better effort tonight from the offense.
04-16-13 Tampa Bay Rays v. Baltimore Orioles -117 4-5 Win 100 18 h 7 m Show
4*Baltimore Orioles -118 (Hernandez/Arrieta)

The Orioles are one of the best teams when playing after a loss and a day off over the last two seasons. I will fade Roberto Hernandez as his pitches are rather flat right now. Take the home team.
04-14-13 Tampa Bay Rays +132 v. Boston Red Sox 0-5 Loss -100 14 h 37 m Show
3*Tampa Bay Rays +137 (Cobb/Buchholz)

I like the matchup with Cobb as an underdog in this spot.
04-12-13 Atlanta: J Teheran v. Washington: R Detwiler -128 6-4 Loss -128 18 h 46 m Show
4*Washington Nationals -128 (Teheran/Detwiler)

The Braves are hitting just .197 vs. left-handed pitchers and Detwiler is a good one.
04-11-13 Toronto Blue Jays v. Detroit Tigers -127 1-11 Win 100 11 h 60 m Show
3*Detroit Tigers (Johnson/Fister)

Doug Fister's best month is April in terms of ERA (2.00) and Josh Johnson has never pitched at Comerica. Only throwing 90-93 MPH instead of his pre-injury of 94-97 MPH. Take the Tigers to bounce back at home.
04-09-13 Chicago White Sox v. Washington Nationals -157 7-8 Win 100 19 h 9 m Show
5*Washington Nationals -157 (Peavy/Gonzalez)

The Nats are 3-0 at home this season and should be focused after losing two of three against the Reds. Gio Gonzalez is great after a team loss and the White Sox are hitting just .200 against lefties. The White Sox have played six games so far this season and they were all against right-handed starters. I like the Nats in a close low-scoring game.
04-08-13 Pittsburgh Pirates +135 v. Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 Win 135 13 h 36 m Show
3*Pittsburgh Pirates +135 (Rodriguez/Cahill)

The Pirates were completely shut down in Los Angeles and will now go to a very hitter-friendly ball park. The Pirates are a good bet as dogs tonight.
04-06-13 Washington Nationals +105 v. Cincinnati Reds 7-6 Win 105 14 h 31 m Show
4*Washington Nationals +105

I look for the Nats to bounce back after last night's debacle. The Reds tend to struggle early in the season against accomplished left-handed starters.
04-05-13 San Diego Padres v. Colorado Rockies -146 2-5 Win 100 17 h 15 m Show
5*Colorado Rockies -146 (Marquis/Francis)

Teams that start on the road and than make their home debut normally play great in game one. Jeff Francis takes the bump for the Rockies with a lot of confidence after his tremendous March. Jason Marquis is 18-26 with a 5.15 ERA over the last three years. Teams are hitting .296 against him. He also has a 6.15 ERA in April over the last three seasons. Jason will debut a new change-up, but Colorado is not really the venue to try new things. Take the home team!
04-04-13 Baltimore Orioles +116 v. Tampa Bay Rays 6-3 Win 116 16 h 41 m Show
5*Baltimore +116 (Gonzalez/Hernandez)

I like the pitching matchup with Gonzalez. He went 9-4 with an ERA of just over 3 last season. Roberto Hernandez allows close to a .280 batting average in all of his day starts since 2010. The Orioles are a good bet as underdogs in this spot.
04-02-13 Seattle Mariners v. Oakland A's -139 7-1 Loss -139 21 h 53 m Show
4*Oakland A's -139 (Iwakuma/Parker)

Oakland was stymied last night against Felix the Cat. The A's No. 3 and No. 4 hitters went a combined 0-for-8. I like the A's to bounce back with Jarrod Parker. Parker has a Career ERA of 2.61 and 1.18 WHIP at Oakland Coliseum. Hisashi Iwakuma is best when he's effective with his sinker, but was 0-2 with a 6.14 ERA against the A's last year. Oakland is 10-2 in their last 12 head-to-head meetings vs. Seattle.
04-01-13 San Francisco Giants v. Los Angeles Dodgers -153 0-4 Win 100 17 h 34 m Show
3*LA Dodgers -153 (Cain/Kershaw)

The Dodgers are pumped up for this game. Fading the World Series Winner if they open on the road has been very proftiable over the years. Clayton Kerhsaw has a 1.37 ERA in 16 career starts vs. SF. Matt Cain is just 4-8 vs. the Dodgers in his career.
10-24-12 Detroit Tigers -165 v. San Francisco Giants 3-8 Loss -165 14 h 12 m Show
5*Detroit Tigers -165 (Verlander/Zito)
10-17-12 San Francisco Giants v. St. Louis Cardinals -120 1-3 Win 100 10 h 52 m Show
5*St. Louis -120 (Cain/Lohse)
10-14-12 St. Louis Cardinals v. San Francisco Giants -130 Top 6-4 Loss -130 16 h 58 m Show
10*San Francisco Giants -130 (Lynn/Bumgarner)

Madison Bumgarner rarely has two bad outings in a row and he has a lot of experience pitching at AT&T Park. His career ERA is 3.07 and he went 10-3 at home this season. Lance Lynn has not started a game since 9/30/12 and he has never pitched at AT&T Park. No starts, no relief appearances. Nothing. Look for some first and second inning trouble for Lynn as he gets assimilated with that mound. The big AT&T ball park should negate the Cards power (159 HR in 162 reg. season games) to some extent. Take the Giants in game one!
10-11-12 Detroit Tigers -135 v. Oakland A's 6-0 Win 100 10 h 7 m Show
5*Detroit Tigers -135 (Verlander/Parker)

08-19-12 Boston: J Beckett v. New York (A): H Kuroda -152 1-4 Win 100 19 h 2 m Show
5*NY Yankees -152 (Beckett/Kuroda)

When Kuroda was with the Dodgers he was awesome on ESPN and off a team loss. Josh Beckett is not having one of his better seasons with an ERA over 5. He might not be 100% physically, as his average fastball is down this year. Take the Yankees!
08-15-12 Houston Astros v. Chicago Cubs -125 2-7 Win 100 13 h 30 m Show
4*Chicago Cubs -125 (Norris/Germano)
