11-02-19 | Troy +1 v. Coastal Carolina | 35-36 | Push | 0 | 103 h 14 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Troy Trojans Coastal starts a sophomore QB making his third start and the Chants are 0-6 ATS at home vs. FBS teams and are 2-8-1 ATS in SBC play since joining the Sunbelt last year. Troy QB Barker has a big arm and throws for 333 per in Sunbelt play. Troy has won prior two meeting by an average of 24 ppg. and strong Trojan run defense should lock up Coastal team that runs better than 60% of the time. |
11-02-19 | Akron v. Bowling Green -6 | 6-35 | Win | 100 | 103 h 37 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Bowling Green Falcons The Zips are winless, coverless, on a current 3-14 run against the points and rock the No.129 ranked offense in the FBS. Bowling Green is 9-1 L10 in the series but lost in this matchup last year. The B.G.'s get top QB back here and have shown signs of life at times. Asking the Falcons to win by a touchdown and they have no excuses. |
11-02-19 | Michigan -18.5 v. Maryland | 38-7 | Win | 100 | 100 h 21 m | Show
DMack Bully Beat Down winner is on the Michigan Wolverines The Terps made big news in the first two weeks of the season by crushing an FCS team and then dropping 63 on Syracuse. The truth is that the Terps win total for the year was 3.5 in most spots and they've proven to be a case of "They are what we thought they were" by continuously getting mauled in Big 10 play. Michigan has covered four of five and has had to trouble with The Turtle of late, winning the L4 meetings by an average of 33. Wolverine triggerman Patterson showcased here against Maryland's fishnet No.116 pass defense. Michigan 54-13. |
11-02-19 | Liberty -23 v. UMass | 63-21 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Subscriber Bous Play winner on the Liberty Flames No …. I haven't lost my mind laying 3+ touchdowns with a road fave that lost to Rutgers in it's last game. This game has become a must win for Liberty which still needs two FBS wins for bowl eligibility. A revenge game for a UMass 3X OT win last year. UMass is just 1-7 SU and ATS with win over winless Akron and catching 16+ points in seven of those losses. |
11-02-19 | Old Dominion v. Florida International -17.5 | 17-24 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 45 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Subscriber Bous Play winner on the FIU Panthers Old Dom is offensively offensive, No.128 in scoring offense, No.130 in total offense. Look for the Monarchs to serve as a whipping boy for an FIU team that should be mad after getting smoked by Middle Tennessee last week. Panthers still have an outside shot at a bowl and should fire here. |
11-01-19 | Navy -26.5 v. Connecticut | 56-10 | Win | 100 | 85 h 7 m | Show
DMack's Friday Night AAC Super Play is on the Navy Midshipmen If the 40 years my data base goes back, this is the most points Navy has ever laid as a road favorite. The 6-1 Middies have won four straight but most importantly have rushed for a whopping 1207 yards (402.3 per) over its L3 games and figures to ground and pound UConn into submission. In fact, the Huskies are 0-4 in conference play, allowing 177 points yet are fat and happy after smoking hapless UMass last week. Coach Ken is a gentleman but may not have a lot of choice regarding the score here. Navy 56-10. |
10-31-19 | Georgia Southern v. Appalachian State -16 | 24-21 | Loss | -110 | 61 h 21 m | Show
DMack's Sunbelt Conference Game of the Month is on the Appalachian State Mountaineers App State is very quietly 7-0 with a win at North Carolina and have just crushed what was thought to be three of the better teams in the Sunbelt by a 99-17 aggregate. In those games, the Mounties rushed for 200+ yards and the defense has been pretty much impregnable. Georgia Southern has been decent but goes on the road here to face a different level. The Eagles lost their last to visits to Boone by 21 and 18 and it figure that it will be at least that here. Lay it. |
10-26-19 | Washington State +14.5 v. Oregon | 35-37 | Win | 100 | 26 h 37 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Washington State Cougars Wazzou was a Duck whipping boy from 2004-14 (1-10) but the Coogs are 4-0 SU and ATS since and seemingly have the Quack Attack number with The Pirate. Washington State's defense inexplicably went south but the offense under Anthony Gordon (71%, 29-7) hasn't missed a beat and is very capable of trading points with Herbert and the Ducks. Two touchdowns is a touch too much as AC/DC used to say. |
10-26-19 | Texas State v. Arkansas State -11 | 14-38 | Win | 100 | 22 h 55 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Arkansas State Red Wolves These teams have just three covers between them but that's where similarity ends as Ark State has the high powered offense that QB Hatcher and RB Murray who seem to get their numbers weekly against better than what they'll see here. Texas State is hapless on both sides, No.119 on total offense, and No. 120 versus the run. Wolves have their own way here … 37-13. |
10-26-19 | Arizona v. Stanford -1.5 | 31-41 | Win | 100 | 18 h 14 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Stanford Cardinal This is homecoming for a Stanford team that was embarrassed by UCLA on national TV in most recent stand alone week night game. Hugely important that Mills or Costello gets the start for the Cards rather than third option West who painfully showed to be not ready for prime team. Zona QB Tate pulled for the second straight week while Cat defense allowing 46+ in last couple. Stanford had dominated series and wins here with any type of QB play. |
10-26-19 | Central Michigan +2.5 v. Buffalo | 20-43 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 6 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Central Michigan Chippewas Buffalo won 20-0 last week over Akron with the real story being that two the Bulls three scores came as a result of scoop and scores. Not good. The Chips have rolled to six straight covers behind excellent QB play (Dormady) and a stud back in Ward (130 ypg. L3). The CMU defense is not too shabby either holding opponents to 113 ypg. below season average. Chips 27-17. |
10-26-19 | Western Kentucky +4.5 v. Marshall | 23-26 | Win | 100 | 17 h 22 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Upset Shocker is on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Who can impose their will on whom. Marshall rocks the power running attack with Knox (220 yards last week against FAU) but the Hilltoppers feature the No.19 ranked FBS defense that allows less than three-yards-per-carry. Western Kentucky is one of surprise teams in college football but are definitely for real. Five straight covers with three outright upsets becomes six and four today. Western Kentucky 28-26. |
10-26-19 | Ohio v. Ball State -2.5 | 34-21 | Loss | -109 | 48 h 11 m | Show
DMack's MAC Conference Game of the Month is on the Ball State Cardinals Showdown between two division leaders but while Ball State in the up escalator, the Bobcats are 1-6 ATS (0-4 4) this year while rocking the worst defense statistically during the Solich era. The Ohio front seven allowing better than 5.3+ per rush while Card RB Huntley has rushed for 428 L3 games and QB Plitt throwing for 1800+ (16-6) on the year. Ball State with huge edges on both sides of the ball. Ball State 30-20. |
10-26-19 | Miami-FL +5 v. Pittsburgh | 16-12 | Win | 100 | 15 h 49 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack winner on the Miami, Florida Hurricanes Pitt has won four straight but has been tip-toeing through the minefield with QB Pickett (59%, just 8 touchdowns) who bust on the scene by beatings a then 11-0 (ranked No.2) Cane team two years ago. Miami hit rock bottom last out losing to Georgia Tech (+18) straight up, the Canes the victim of giveaways yet another week. Two excellent defense square off her and prefer a certain to be focused Miami, Fla team catching more than a FG in a FG type of game. |
10-19-19 | Tennessee v. Alabama -34 | 13-35 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 17 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Bonus Play is on the Alabama Crimson Tide You certainly don't need games like this from me but it's been numbers like this as the reason Las Vegas Sports Books have been cleaning up the last five weeks. Here are the reasons we like the Tide to cover five touchdowns. Sure the Vols will play Bama as tough as they can but in the end they are simply outmatched. Bama has won 12 straight in the series, covering the last three, and last year dropping 58 points on Old Rocky Top, the most points ever scored in the series. Last night we talked about style points and we got them with Ohio State. The Tide still have to play LSU and Auburn, either of which could make you look silly. On a secondary front, Tua is probably third in the Heisman balloting at the moment so this is one of the few remaining games where he will really be able to pad his stats. Watching Ohio State last night makes me even more convinced that this is "right" play. |
10-19-19 | Old Dominion v. UAB -16 | 14-38 | Win | 100 | 37 h 19 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the UAB Blazers Old Dom has been terrible all year and faces a well coached that can play and is really up against it. The Monarchs gaining 121 yards-per-game less than their opponents and face a Blazer team that is solid on both sides of the ball. UAB has been an ATS machine going 12-2-1 at home under this coach and the spot couldn't be better to pummel someone with a bye on deck. |
10-19-19 | Baylor v. Oklahoma State -3.5 | 45-27 | Loss | -107 | 28 h 7 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Oklahoma State Cowboys Baylor is a nice story and Ruhl has done a nice job rebuilding the Bears from the Art Briles rubble in minimum time. That said, Baylor has played a "modest" schedule of the road and were even taken to the limit by hard trying Rice. Baylor is in the gauntlet today in Stillwater and will need a way to stop the nation's leading rusher in Hubbard. Also a revenge spot versus Bears who won 35-31 last year in Waco. |
10-19-19 | Temple +7.5 v. SMU | 21-45 | Loss | -100 | 51 h 41 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Dog Bite of the Year is on the Temple Owls Temple is a pretty good team as we will see today and should be getting much stronger support at the window in this battle of AAC division leaders. SMU has been one of the stories of college football all year but is starting to show chinks in the armor. In particular, talking about coming back from 30-9 deficit to beat Tulsa by divine intervention. The Owls have a top triggerman running the show in Russo and will also be showing off the No.7 ranked defense versus passing efficiency. Don't be shocked if Temple wins this straight up …. how about 33-27. |
10-19-19 | Buffalo -17 v. Akron | 21-0 | Win | 100 | 51 h 34 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Buffalo Bulls Akron has lost 11 straight (2-9 ATS) and is 3-12 versus the points in L15 games period. Buffalo runs for 230 yards-per-game while the Zips allow 200 yards overland per and figure to get beat up with their defense not getting off the field and the offense not having the ball enough to generate substantial points. Buffalo 35-6 |
10-19-19 | Oregon -2.5 v. Washington | 35-31 | Win | 100 | 35 h 3 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Oregon Ducks Since losing at Auburn on a final play Hail Mary in Week One, the Quack Attack has won five straight games, and allowing just 25 points. That's Pittsburgh Steeler's Steel Curtain crazy good. Oregon QB Herbert will be a Top Five draft pick this spring and currently has thrown 17 TD passes against a lone interception. The Huskies might be able to slow Herbert down some but the UWUB offense just doesn't have the fire power to stay in it. Oregon 30-13. |
10-19-19 | South Florida v. Navy -14.5 | 3-35 | Win | 100 | 8 h 49 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Bonus Play is on the NAVY Midshipmen Analysis to follow |
10-19-19 | New Mexico v. Wyoming -19.5 | 10-23 | Loss | -109 | 50 h 6 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Wyoming Cowboys Bob Davie had a nice run at New Mexico but his time is coming to an end with this very bad Lobo outfit. New Mexico was bullied by an equally terrible Colorado State team in last week's Friday nightery. Here they meet a supremely coached Wyoming team that plays strong defense, runs the football like the 49ers, and can also boast terrific special teams Wyoming 45-10. |
10-18-19 | Ohio State -27.5 v. Northwestern | 52-3 | Win | 100 | 33 h 36 m | Show
DMack's Ohio State/Northwestern Super Play is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Feel very comfortable laying this big number with the Buckeyes We've already seen with Clemson that style points have become important and Northwestern is your perfect patsy. The injury riddled Wildcats have minimal offense on the best of days and it's hard to see the home team getting double-digits here. Ohio State, like most NCAAF bullies, beats you down with relentless pounding and it's simply a question of when Northwestern gives way. The Cats played their best game against a similar Wisconsin squad only to be pummeled by a biteless Michigan State team in the follow up. |
10-17-19 | UCLA v. Stanford -6.5 | 34-16 | Loss | -116 | 33 h 47 m | Show
DMack's UCLA/Stanford Thursday Pac12 Super Play is on Stanford If you are seeing this game, you are a subscriber and have been with me. I posted this game early and in good faith as reports had Stanford's top two quarterback's going through full practices and were both expected to be available to play. As it turns out, both have been ruled out of this game and there has been another additional injury to a key offensive lineman who is likely finished for the year. Please pass this game. I am unable to take it down and will live with the results but will not be playing myself. We have a big weekend on tap and you will not be disappointed by missing a game here. |
10-12-19 | Washington v. Arizona +6.5 | 51-27 | Loss | -110 | 42 h 45 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Late Show Bail Out is on the Arizona Wildcats These two haven't met since 2016 and the homie has won 8 of the L9 in the series straight up. At 4-2 with two losses as double-digit favorites, the Washington Huskies are phony as can be and six games in have no chance of making he college football playoff. Khalil Tate shook off injury last week to pass for 400+ yards in the Cats win over Colorado. Washington has lost four straight on this field and the Huskies are 4-9 L13 as a road favorite. The Wildcats are 4-1 as home dogs under Sumlin and 23-9 in that role since 2004. Arizona has a big chance to win this straight up. |
10-12-19 | Navy v. Tulsa | 45-17 | Win | 100 | 38 h 21 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Navy Midshipmen Navy is fast improving off tough year last year for Coach Ken. The Middies are off a huge confidence building double-digit win over the Air Force while Tulsa blew a 30-9 lead to SMU in a triple-OT loss to the Mustangs. These teams have played the last four year with Navy going 4-0 SU and ATS in the series. |
10-12-19 | UMass v. Louisiana Tech -31 | 21-69 | Win | 100 | 39 h 31 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Can of Whup Ass is on the La Tech Bulldogs UMass is possibly the worst team in Division-I, allowing 50 ppg. and 6.1 ypc. on the ground versus anyone not wearing an Akron jersey. That said, La Tech has been extremely disappointing in it's own way and is just 4-9 ATS laying 21+ points or more at home. WE don't mind laying this HUGE numbers here as Skip Holtz has reportedly cracked the whip on the offense. La Tech dropped 56 on the Minutemen in the last meeting (2016) and might very well do so here as this is a team (program) that is definitely looking to get it's swagger back and is home and facing a tailor made opponent to make that happen. |
10-12-19 | Fresno State +3.5 v. Air Force | 24-43 | Loss | -110 | 38 h 55 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Early Release on the Fresno State Bulldogs Strong situational play for the defensively stout Fresno State Bulldogs. Air Force just 4-14 ATS after facing Army/Navy in prior. The Flyboys were soundly beaten by Navy last week. Fresno off a bye and extra time to prepare for Falcon option. Fresno also rocks a 13-2-2 ATS road record since Tedford took over a couple of years ago. |
10-12-19 | Middle Tennessee State +11 v. Florida Atlantic | 13-28 | Loss | -106 | 35 h 43 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders MTSU fast improving with a sophomore gunslinger QB that knows no fear. The Blue Raiders spanked Marshall last week and there is absolutely no reason why the Blue Raiders can't hang with an Owl team that gives up better than 31 ppg. and is just 1-6-1 L8 as a home favorite. |
10-12-19 | Northern Illinois +7 v. Ohio | 39-36 | Win | 100 | 59 h 41 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Northern Illinois Huskies Ohio is just 1-4 ATS against the No.90 ranked schedule while Northern is 3-2 ATS against the No.35 strength of schedule. The Huskies should take advantage of a Bobcat team that is already -8 in turnovers while looking to make amends for giving their game against Ball State away last week thanks to 111 yards in penalties and a fumbled kickoff that gave the Cards the ball at the three. Taking a full touchdown with a team we expect to win straight up. |
10-12-19 | New Mexico State v. Central Michigan -10 | 28-42 | Win | 100 | 31 h 54 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Central Michigan Chips CMU owns a big edge in this matchup defensively and is finding the fire power to take advantage of an Aggie defense giving up 58 ppg. in their L11 albeit to a much tougher independent schedule. Fast improving Chips are 3-3 this year after brutal 1-11 year last year and will look to continue sharp play with B2B MAC roadies on deck. Central Michigan 35-17. |
10-11-19 | Colorado State -3 v. New Mexico | 35-21 | Win | 100 | 16 h 33 m | Show
DMack's Friday Mountain West Super Play is on the Colorado State Rams There are a lot of reasons to dog Colorado State to this point but they've played a difficult schedule and despite being on the road, will enjoy a massive drop in class here. New Mexico is in tough shape for the soon to be departed Bob Davie, allowing no less than 464 yards of offense to every team they've played this year including a D-I opponent. Colorado State has produced in this spot before, going 9-5 in their L14 as a road dog and had no problem stopping the Lobo option attack winning the L9 games (7-2 ATS) in the series. Colorado State 45-27. |
10-10-19 | UL-Monroe -3 v. Texas State | 24-14 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Sunbelt Super Play is on the UL-Monroe Texas State has gotten lots of love at the window early in the week but the Bobcats face much better here than they did last week when they beat a I-AA 24-3. UL Monroe actually drops in class after facing Memphis. The War Hawks have proven they can move the ball against anyone and the much maligned defense should have far more success against the home team's No.118 ranked offense. At the end of day, Monroe has won the last three in the series by 6-18-6, and is 6-2 L8 as a road favorite facing a weak Texas State team that is just 4-11 L15 as a home dog and lacks the fire-power to keep up. UL Monroe 31-20. |
10-09-19 | Appalachian State +2 v. UL-Lafayette | 17-7 | Win | 100 | 8 h 11 m | Show
DMack's App State/ULL Sunbelt Super Play is on Appalachian State This could be a preview for down the road much like it was last year. App State won both meeting last year by double-digits last year, winning 27-17 in the regular season and 30-19 in the SBCG. ULL did get the cover in both games but there is far less disparity in talent this year. The Mounties are 4-0 and won at ACC North Carolina on the road this year. The Cajuns are 3-1 with their loss coming at Mississippi State. At the end of the day, history shows App State 6-0 in the series … show me, don't tell me. App State is a shootout 45-37. |
10-05-19 | Boise State -22.5 v. UNLV | 38-13 | Win | 100 | 14 h 6 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Boise State Broncos Bullet Analysis: UNLV starts a new QB and along with two new tackles along the offensive line. Injures have reduced the Rebel running game (the only thing this team did well) to insignificance and the Bronco offense will love facing a UNLV defense that allowed 53 points to slow-motion Wyoming last week. Did we mention that Rebel special teams are also horrific and that a return score of some king would not be a surprise from the visitors. Boise by 35. |
10-05-19 | Pittsburgh v. Duke -3.5 | 33-30 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 9 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Duke Blue Devils Bullet Analysis: Pittsburgh getting a lot of love after standing tall in closes losses to better and the upset of UCF but this were at home. Duke is much better than it played against Bama but isn't everybody ??? The Blue Devils are well coached, have an excellent 5th year Sr. QB calling the shots and just doesn't make mistakes. Lay it … Duke by double-digits. |
10-05-19 | California v. Oregon -18 | 7-17 | Loss | -109 | 31 h 26 m | Show
DMack's Saturday Night Bail Out Special is on the Oregon Ducks Cal will be without it's starting QB and wide out, not a good thing when hoping to trade points with the high-octane Quack Attack. The Bear defense is good but Oregon has had not problem dropping 40 on Cal the last two years and this is the best outfit Cal will have seen yet. The Oregon defense is EXTREMELY underrated and had it not been for the Hail Mary at Auburn, the Ducks would be in the discussion for a National Championship. Oregon 48-17. |
10-05-19 | Michigan State v. Ohio State -20 | 10-34 | Win | 100 | 20 h 38 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Michigan State is unquestionably one of the disappointments of this year. The vaunted Sparty defense is somewhat better than average and the MSU offense (thought to be the best of Dantoni's tenure) couldn't score with a fistful of hundreds at Cheetahs. Ohio State won't steamroll everyone but they'll pop enough big plays to cover this very fair number. |
10-05-19 | Arizona +4 v. Colorado | 35-30 | Win | 100 | 17 h 53 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Arizona Woldcats Bullet Analysis: Arizona has won three straight since getting ambushed by Hawaii in its opener. The Wildcats have won the last two meetings with Tate have career days in each, rushing and passing. Regardless of whether Tate plays or not, Arizona is the better team in virtually every aspect and Gunnell (Tate backup) has enough to get it done. Straight up. |
10-05-19 | Auburn -2.5 v. Florida | 13-24 | Loss | -110 | 52 h 8 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Auburn Tigers Bullet Analysis: Auburn has arguably the best offensive and defensive lines in the country and the Tigers have absolutely dominant in the trenches. The Gators getting a lot of love again at the window and even if new QB is an improvement over Franks and Gator defense gets two key pieces back this week, Gainesville is no match for an Auburn team that is a legit threat win the SEC. |
10-05-19 | Texas v. West Virginia +11 | 42-31 | Push | 0 | 16 h 45 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the West Virginia Mountaineers Bullet Analysis: |
10-05-19 | Illinois +14 v. Minnesota | 17-40 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 27 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Illinois Fighting Illini Bullet Analysis: Lovie Smith is coaching for his job and has done a nice job coaching his guys up. Illinois is off a bye and will be well prepared here. Minnesota has done what's been asked of them but this team is no Big Ten juggernaut ready to cover two touchdowns against it's own kind. Gophers allowed Purdue reserves 28 points after Boilers lost best two offensive players to injury in the first quarter. Illinois comes to play and easily stays under the number. |
10-05-19 | Western Michigan v. Toledo -1 | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 15 h 18 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Toledo Rockets Bullet Analysis: Western Michigan is just a shell of the team it was three years ago under P.J. Fleck. The Broncos have their moments but are just 11-18-1 versus the points under new regime. Toledo rushed the ball for 678 yards in their last two game, beaten Western Michigan easily the last two years, and covered 7 of their L8 at the Glass Bowl. Toledo easy. |
10-05-19 | Marshall -4 v. Middle Tennessee State | 13-24 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 13 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Marshall Thundering Herd Bullet Analysis: Marshall was humiliated by Cincinnati in its last and will out for blood here. MTSU giving up 38 ppg. and No.127 defending the run … not a good combination facing Herd power running attack. Marshall is well coached and will be 100% focused here to get back on track. Marshall by three touchdowns. |
10-05-19 | Oklahoma -31.5 v. Kansas | 45-20 | Loss | -130 | 5 h 44 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Oklahoma Sooners Bullet Analysis: Les Miles is doing a nice job with virtually nothing in Lawrence but the Jayhawks are now into their Big 12 schedule where no quarter is given. Impossible to see why there has been money during the week on the home team which was down 38-0 at halftime to a very pedestrian TCU outfit and faces an offense here that has averaged 10.4 YARDS PER PLAY every time they've snapped the ball this season. Les Miles has enough coaching equity for Lincoln Riley to call off the dogs in the mid-40s or low-50's. |
10-05-19 | Iowa +4.5 v. Michigan | 3-10 | Loss | -101 | 104 h 43 m | Show
DMack Saturday Power Pack Winner is on the Iowa Hawkeyes Bullet Analysis: Michigan rebounded from embarrassing effort versus Wisconsin with crush shot win over Rutgers but … the Iowa Hawkeyes are a clone of Wisconsin that just happened to be dressed in black and gold. There are no Jonathan Freeman's on the Tiger Hawks by Kyle Stanley is a capable field general that will get some looks in the next draft. Iowa 24-14. |
10-05-19 | Kent State v. Wisconsin -35 | Top | 0-48 | Win | 101 | 12 h 25 m | Show |
DMack's College Football Can of Whup Ass is on the Wisconsin Badgers This number should be closer to 50! Why ??? The Badgers have the best defensive metrics in the country and only garbage time points will prevent a Badger shutout of the Flashes. Kent is dead last in the FBS against the run so look for Jonathon Freeman to pad his Heisman numbers with a monster day. Kent is 0-15 SU and 4-11 ATS vs. The Big Ten since 2001. We'll call this 59-0 with a ton of confidence. |

10-04-19 | Central Florida -3 v. Cincinnati | 24-27 | Loss | -115 | 31 h 49 m | Show
DMack Early Release on the UCF Golden Knights If you are a subscriber or have followed me in 2019, it may seem that we have gone to the well a number of times with UCF. We have and with good reason. Caught a flat spot last week against an underrated Power Five Pitt Panther outfit but that makes this a better value play here as Cincinnati has gotten the love all week. The Knight offense is explosive and averaging better 45 points per in I-A games this year. Cincinnati is good but watched every snap of their game against Ohio State and can't help remember the Buckeyes doing whatever they wanted and in particular, the OSU wide outs running wild. UCF wins by double-digits. |
10-03-19 | Temple -11.5 v. East Carolina | 27-17 | Loss | -109 | 55 h 53 m | Show
DMack's Temple/ECU College Thunder winner is the Temple Owls Temple is 5-0 SU and ATS in five meetings with ECU in conference play, winning the last three meetings by an average score of 40-9. Owl QB Russo was 21-25 and four TDs in this game last year and has better support this year. The Owl defense is also very good and face a one-dimensional attack here that completes just 54% of its passes. ECU is without question on the improve and even upset Old Dom in their last but they are completely outmanned here. If HC Rod Carey can get his team even half way interested, it will be another three touchdown win for the boys from Philly. |
09-28-19 | Ohio State -17 v. Nebraska | 48-7 | Win | 100 | 57 h 48 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Bully Beat Down is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Soooooooo tired of reading about and listening to all the love being given to a very OVERRATED Nebraska team that has basically played like the .500 team they were last year. Ohio State has had a vapor lock the last three years, coming in flat against an unranked conference opponent and losing and for some reason, this will be the week. Looking for a wire-to-wire razor sharp performance here much like we saw versus a game but outmanned Cincinnati. The Huskers kept things close last year … so what! We still haven't seen Fields best yet. Ohio State 51-17. |
09-28-19 | Kansas State v. Oklahoma State -4 | 13-26 | Win | 100 | 56 h 29 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Early Release is on Oklahoma State The dog has cashed the tickets in this series of late going 9-3 in the L12 series tilts. This new look K State Wildcat outfit as a lot of positive numbers backing them up but this is not Bill Snyder and this week could be a reality check Gundy's Cowboy team is off a tough 36-30 loss to Texas but even in a rebuilding year, OSU's offense hasn't missed a beat generating 122 points in three games versus D-I opponents. Okie State has been there sooooo many time before and today is the better team laying small points at home. OSU a very respectable 21-14 L35 as a home favorite and teams entering the AP Top 25 this year (in this case Kansas State) are just 1-6 ATS in their Game One welcomes. Lay the points … Gundy can take it. |
09-28-19 | Louisiana Tech -8.5 v. Rice | 23-20 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 8 m | Show
DMack's Under-The-Radar Kill Shot is on the La Tech Bulldogs Rice is plenty feisty and you have to admire a program that has the guts t start the year with Army, Wake Forest, Baylor, and Texas. It's one thing to be feisty but it's another to win which is something the Owl program is yet to be able to figure out a way to do. La Tech has gotten it's offense going behind its Sr. QB Smith and easily dispatched better than this (Bowling Green and Florida International) in it's last two. La Tech wears down a Rice outfit that has little left in the tank. |
09-28-19 | Arkansas State v. Troy -7 | 50-43 | Loss | -109 | 28 h 23 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Early Release is on Troy Trojans We used Troy last week and cashed in rocking chair style as the Trojans spanked Akron. Somewhat of a revenge spot here for Troy. In the last meeting in 2017, Arkansas State upset Troy 35-25 despite getting outgained 606 to 293. The visitor is 8-2 ATS L8 in the series but Troy is 8-2-1 in it's L11 Sunbelt Conference tilts. Did I mention that you just don't run on Troy. Troy wins 31-10 improve on its current non-conference wins. |
09-28-19 | Cincinnati -3.5 v. Marshall | 52-14 | Win | 100 | 27 h 9 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Cincinnati Bearcats The Bearcats have already shown us that they ready for prime time and their three loss since 2018 have com to Temple, UCF, and Ohio State. They dominated UCLA start to finish and feature a defensive front that allows just 3.2 ypc., not good news for a Herd team that depends on going overland. Marshall is supremely coached by Doc Holiday but at the end of the day, Cincinnati wins by double-digits. |
09-28-19 | Wake Forest v. Boston College +6.5 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 40 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Boston College Eagles The road team is 5-0 and 4-1 ATS over the last five meetings. The Deacs are 4-0 for the third time under the Clawson regime but have never hit 5-0. Wake has lost three straight as a road favorite and this is the first time since 2011 where the Demons are ACC road favorites. B.C. on a long run of tech recommendations including a 14-3-1 ATS run in all ACC games, 9-2-1 as a dog and 5-1 as a home dog. The better team, at home, and getting almost a full TD is too juicy to ignore. |
09-28-19 | BYU v. Toledo +2.5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 22 h 15 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Toledo Rockets BYU is the only team in the FBS to open the season playing five power conference teams. The Cougars defense struggled against the more high octane offenses like Washington and USC. The Coogs are on the road again playing in arguably the toughest home venue in the MAC. Toledo has a powered offense (currently No.11 in the FBS) that is potent and balanced and eventually take over against a very tired BYU outfit. The points are a bonus if still available. Toledo straight up. |
09-21-19 | UCLA v. Washington State -18 | 67-63 | Loss | -110 | 81 h 17 m | Show
DMack Saturday Night Can of Whup Ass is on the Washington State Cougars The UCLA Bruins have been brutal in their 0-3 start, rushing for just a little more than 100 ypg. and completing just 54% of its passes. Washington State got by Houston in last and looks to take care of business in conference play. The Cougars have been given up a lot of passing yards but their own QB is completing 78% of his own passes. The teams haven't met in three year but Wazzou HC Mike "The Pirate" Leach has a long memory and has never had a compunction to run it up on anyone, never mind Chip Kelly who never minded dishing it out when he was at Oregon. Easy Money …. Washington State 54-20. |
09-21-19 | Central Florida -10.5 v. Pittsburgh | 34-35 | Loss | -104 | 35 h 14 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Central Florida Golden Knights UCF dispatched Stanford easily as the now nationally ranked Knights continue pound non-conference opponents hoping to get some respect. Here they face a Pitt outfit that left it on the field last week versus Penn State in a rivalry showdown. UCF now rocks a 20-8-1 ATS since 2017 while the host Panthers are just 2-8-1 L11 entertaining non-conference foes here. The UCF juggernaut marches on. |
09-21-19 | Wyoming +3.5 v. Tulsa | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 26 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Wyoming Cowboys After getting waxed by Michigan State, Tulsa played its heart out against Oklahoma State before giving it up in the second half. If the Golden Hurricane thinks it's getting a soft touch here, it is sadly mistaken as these Cowboys have won seven straight dating back to last year and are 7-0 ATS L7 vs. ATS opponents. Wyoming gets mulligan vs. Idaho last week after throttling Missouri in opener. The Mountain West team plays great defense and make the most out of red zone opportunities where they are currently No.1 in the FBS in efficiency. Wyoming straight up. |
09-21-19 | Troy -17.5 v. Akron | 35-7 | Win | 100 | 27 h 49 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Troy Trojans The prolific Troy offense is averaging 41 points and 520 ypg. spearheaded by triggerman Barker who threw for 540 yards and four touchdowns last week against better. Here he'll face a Zip pass defense ranked No.125 in the FBS, No.122 in scoring defense, and No.124 in scoring offense. This one could get ugly and we're counting on it. |
09-21-19 | Michigan v. Wisconsin -3 | 14-35 | Win | 100 | 71 h 49 m | Show
DMack Michigan/Wisconsin Big 10 Super Play is on the Wisconsin Badgers The home team is 9-1 in the series and the Wolverines have lost four straight visits here, the last three all by 14 points. The favorite is also 4-1 L5. Michigan got all the preseason noise and has underachieved to this point. Wisconsin has be overlooked by the shade of Nebraska and smoked it's first two opponents by a 110-0 aggregate. At the end of the day, the big physical Wisconsin offensive line will wear down Michigan. Badger RB Jonathan Taylor will be the best player on the filed and that will count for something. Wisconsin 26-10. |
09-21-19 | Boston College v. Rutgers +8.5 | 30-16 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 51 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Boston College is no doubt embarrassed by last week's loss to Kansas but the Eagles cannot stop the run and the feisty Scarlett Knights will be more than happy to just pound away with Pacheco and Blackshear. In fact, B.C. is giving up 214 rpg. to this point at 4.8 ypc so getting the bad taste out of their mouth might be easier said than done against a rested and ready to go Rutgers team off a bye. Grab the points. |
09-20-19 | Utah -3.5 v. USC | 23-30 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 4 m | Show
DMack's Friday NCAAF Bankroll Builder is on the Utah Running Utes The home side has won six straight in the series (5-1 ATS) but that run will end tonight. Utah dominated in Salt Lake last year limiting the Trojans to season lows in yards and first downs with a team not as good as this one. USC in improved somewhat but starts a freshman quarterback that has turned the ball over and the Troy stop unit as had issue versus the run and face a team that has rushed for 479 yards in two games against good FCS opponents already. This game id likely headed North to -4 and beyond. Take the best that you can knowing that we fully expect the visitor to win by double-digits. |
09-14-19 | Texas State v. SMU -17 | 17-47 | Win | 100 | 29 h 22 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on SMU The SMU was an easy winner for us last week and we're coming right back with the Stangs for many of the same reasons. Southern Meth features a high-octane offense that can beat you in the air or on the ground with the ground with serial slasher Xavier Jones. Texas State has a quarterback that has thrown four picks in the Wildcats first two games and will be throwing into the teeth of a secondary here that has been bolstered by four upperclassman Power Five transfers that played for the likes of Auburn, Nebraska, and USC. The Ponies have already beaten better on the road and have no excuses to not win easily here. |
09-14-19 | Iowa v. Iowa State | 18-17 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa was given little run at the beginning of the year but the Hawkeyes are now 2-0, albeit against Miami, Oh and Rutgers, and should be unscored upon. The Clones were taken to two OTs by Northern Iowa and are 0-4 SU (0-3-1 ATS) in the last four games of series. This rivalry is always a brawl played at top intensity but Iowa is the better team here and has been money in this spot going 15-2-1 the last six years as a road favorite under Ferentz. Iowa 23-10. |
09-14-19 | Arizona State v. Michigan State -14 | 10-7 | Loss | -110 | 59 h 39 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Super Play on Michigan State The Spartans have been the sexy pick this week in Las Vegas as the Sparty defense appears to be it's usual self while the offense is the best of the recent Dantonio era. A revenge spot here as Herm and the Pitchforks won 16-13 in the desert last year. This Michigan State is the real deal and in the end, ASU's basic lack of talent is exposed in a 20-point loss. |
09-14-19 | Stanford v. Central Florida -7 | 27-45 | Win | 100 | 69 h 35 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack is on the UFC Knights UFC got off to a slow start last week before blowing out FAU on the road in a lightning shortened game in South Beach. The Knights are settling on a QB and Josh Heupel has this UCF offense hitting on all cylinders. Stanford is in a world of hurt after getting spanked by a true freshman USC QB last week, travels West to East, and has significant injuries to the offensive line. The Cardinal gets starting QB Costello back but even if he brought Abbott with him, they couldn't keep the The Tree to falling to 2-6 L8 as a road dog. UCF does whatever it wants. |
09-14-19 | UNLV v. Northwestern -18 | 14-30 | Loss | -114 | 58 h 8 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Northwestern Wildcats Northwestern's loss at Stanford the first week of the season doesn't look like much right now but the Wildcats are made of better stuff and get the right patsy to pummel here. The Rebels beat a very bad Southern Utah outfit in their opener and then put up less than token resistance in a four touchdown loss to Arkansas State in a game they opened up at as favorite. The Cats have their Big Ten opener next week but were so bad at Palo Alto that Pat Fitzgerald will have them believing they are playing the Vikings. Bottom line … the Rebs are one the 10 worst teams in FBS. |
09-14-19 | East Carolina v. Navy -7 | 10-42 | Win | 100 | 26 h 50 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on Navy The Middies have had a reality check the last couple of year but this edition might be closer to the solid editions that were featured in the first part of the decade. Navy loves to see ECU who they've beaten by 65-45-56 points in the last three meetings. ECU was beat up by a rebuilding NC State team in their opener and the Pirates face a disciplined senior Navy signal caller with 26 starts. Navy won't win by 50+ here but they don't have to for us to cash a ticket. |
09-14-19 | USC -3.5 v. BYU | 27-30 | Loss | -108 | 26 h 44 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on USC With all due respect to Trojan HC Clay Helton, he just might be the ultimate cockroach in the Pac 12. His seat was hot and he was the early favorite at many books to be the first coach fired. USC won it's opener while losing starting QB J.T. Daniels in process and then took Stanford behind the woodshed behind their true frosh replacement signal caller who set all kinds of records in the beat down of The Tree. USC is now a legit threat to win the Pac 12 and has Utah on deck. That said, they face a BYU team here whose scheduling (Utah, Tennessee) is done by the Marquis de Sade leaving the Cougars "defrosted" already. |
09-14-19 | Pittsburgh v. Penn State -17 | 10-17 | Loss | -109 | 55 h 40 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Super Play on Penn State Penn State, like Iowa and Wisconsin on the other side of the Big Ten, has been overlooked all summer and is much better than expected. The Nits were sloppy against Buffalo of the MAC last week but rolled in the second half behind the team's superior depth. PSU's M.O. for the year is going to be playing close in the first half and then flipping the switch in the second. This is a renewal of an old rivalry (Joe Pa insisted on a 2-for-1 after PSU joined the Big Ten) and is meaningful to both for recruiting. Penn State 48-17. |
09-14-19 | NC State -7 v. West Virginia | 27-44 | Loss | -101 | 22 h 25 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on NC State These were supposed to be two teams in rebuild mode but while West Virginia has all the makings of a train wreck, NC State is coming on fast and well ahead of schedule. The Wolf Pack beat up two tomato cans to start the year but the offense that returned just four starters is doing some real nice things. The Mounties were left toothless by Dana Holgorsen who saw the writing on the wall and flew the coup. WVU was mauled by Mizzou last week and was life and death to beat James Madison in it's opener. In the end, N.C. State has no excuses for not beating a bad West Virginia team by two touchdowns. |
09-14-19 | Miami-OH v. Cincinnati -17 | 13-35 | Win | 100 | 3 h 55 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Late Steam Bonus Play is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Analysis to follow |
09-07-19 | North Texas v. SMU -3 | 27-49 | Win | 100 | 16 h 6 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the SMU This is a revenge game for the Mustangs who saw their three-game series wins streak stopped last year. The Mean Green caught a lot of breaks last year and do roll with a QB with 37 starts but not much else as was indicative of their opening struggle versus FCS school. SMU beat a better Arkansas State team on the road last week and figures to roll at home. |
09-07-19 | Central Florida -11.5 v. Florida Atlantic | 48-14 | Win | 100 | 16 h 56 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the UCF Golden Knights UCF's biggest question mark coming in to the year was at QB with no proven commodity. Apparently, Josh Heupel has three QBs that he can go to as he pleases. FAU is a far cry from the Florida A&M Rattlers but the Owls first quarter against and Ohio State team that lost interest after eight minutes (28-0) would look to be their real profile. |
09-07-19 | Southern Utah v. Northern Iowa -24 | 14-34 | Loss | -120 | 31 h 49 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Northern Iowa Panthers Northern Iowa couldn't have been any unluckier than they were in their double-OT loss to Iowa State. The Panthers played on even ground with the Cyclones throughout and will enjoy a soft touch here in Southern Utah. UNLV could have run for 700 yards on the T-Birds had they wanted and the final would have been 56-7 had Sanchez not called off the dogs. |
09-07-19 | Northern Colorado v. Washington State -34 | 17-59 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show
DMack's Week II NCAAF Bully Beat Down is on the Washington State Cougars The Pirate, Mike Leach, showed no compunction is spanking an outmanned New Mexico State outfit 58-7 last week. In typical Cougar fashion versus the have nots, Wazzou spread the ball around, getting everyone involved. Northern Colorado was beaten up by San Jose State last weekend which is all you need to know about the Bears. |
09-07-19 | Illinois -21 v. Connecticut | 31-23 | Loss | -108 | 34 h 12 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Illinois Fighting Illini Lovie Smith is coaching for his job and taking no prisoners against a soft non-conference schedule. UConn may very well the lowest power rated team in Division and the Huskies were life and death to beat Wagner in their opener. The Illini have been taking sharp money over the last two weeks and will have no excuses again this week. |
09-07-19 | Nebraska -4 v. Colorado | 31-34 | Loss | -109 | 29 h 4 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska was guilty of reading their own clippings and forgetting to show up for their opener. The Huskers prevailed thanks to two defensive touchdowns and a punt return. The Blackshirts face former Big 12 rival Colorado here and the offense should do some business against a Buffalo team that game up 500+ yards to a very ordinary Colorado State in that rivalry win. Nebraska puts the hammer down. |
09-07-19 | Rutgers v. Iowa -19.5 | 0-30 | Win | 100 | 48 h 34 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Iowa Hawkeyes The Hawkeyes won, pushed, or lost their opening against Miami, Ohio … winning by 24 despite being a complete no show in the first half and turning the ball over twice resulting in the Redhawks only points. Rutgers will be more competitive but catch a focused Iowa bunch here that generally takes car of business on their home field. |
09-07-19 | Ohio +4.5 v. Pittsburgh | 10-20 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Early Bird winner is on the Ohio Bobcats Pitt was absolutely awful last week in getting dominated on this field by Virginia. The Panthers will have their work cut out for them against Ohio's veteran Sr. quarterback Rourke and a senior laden secondary that will make it difficult to throw. Solich is 11-4 in L15 as a dog and has a real chance to take a Power Five scalp here. |
09-06-19 | Marshall +12 v. Boise State | 7-14 | Win | 100 | 33 h 6 m | Show
DMack's Marshall/Boise Friday NCAAF Super Play is Marshall Call it a "trap" game or whatever you want, this is not the best of spots for the Broncos home opener. Granted, win at Florida State was big for the program and the new freshman QB but they face a very experienced Marshall team that is supremely coached by Doc Holiday. The Herd crushed a tomato can in its opener and 11-4-1 L16 as a road dog. Boise on the other hand starts new era but 16-34 ATS run on the Blue Turf is long term and can't be ignored. Neither can 12 points with a VERY live dog. |
08-31-19 | Weber State v. San Diego State -7 | 0-6 | Loss | -186 | 10 h 54 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Bail Out Special is on the San Diego State Aztecs Weber State is very good team out of the Big Sky and that is evidenced here in the respect the Wildcats are garnering in the line. That said, San Diego State is a tough draw with its unorthodox defense and super savvy coach Rocky Long. SDSU will also have the game breaker on the field with the latest of their long line of excellent backs as you can figure to see Juwan Washington early and often. He's not big but fast and powerful and can run inside or out. Like the Mountain West team to establish dominance up front and grind out a 24-10 type of win. |
08-31-19 | Miami-OH v. Iowa -21.5 | 14-38 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
DMack Week I Saturday NCAAF Bonus Play is on the Iowa Hawkeyes This is a late edition for me as the Iowa Hawkeyes are a team that in many ways is a mirror image of the Wisconsin team we saw crush South Florida on the road. Both teams are young and green but the Hawkeyes ALWAYS play defense and do return the 3rd Team all-Big Ten QB and their top three RBs from last year. Iowa establishes the ground and pound early and then extends late with a relentless last 30 minutes. |
08-31-19 | South Carolina -10.5 v. North Carolina | 20-24 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 26 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Saturday Week I Super Play is on the South Carolina Gamecocks There is no recent history between these two as this is the first meeting since 2015. Mack Brown tries to resurrect the old magic for the Tar Heels but inherits a two-win team with not much talent or confidence. This is a put up or shut up year for Muschamps who starts a senior QB with 32 starts behind an offensive line with a lot of experience. This is a neutral field game in Charlotte and the Gamecocks should be well represented and have no excuses here. |
08-30-19 | Wisconsin -10.5 v. South Florida | 49-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show
DMack's Wisconsin/South Florida Friday Night Feature is on the Wisconsin Badgers I love when proven commodities get overlooked and pretty much have no expectations coming in. The Badgers were hit hard by graduation and do not have their usual compliment of returnees but they will pay strong defense and they will have some very big boys up front to impose their will and power ground game. South Florida was somewhat counterfeit last year and while the Bulls beat up the teams that they should, they rarely compete. Wisky is 11-3 as a road favorite under Chryst and we fully expect the Badgers to push around the hosts here and that has been reflected to this point in the line. |
08-30-19 | Rice v. Army -21.5 | 7-14 | Loss | -103 | 72 h 48 m | Show
NCAAF Super Play is on the Army Cadets This might very well be the best play on Friday and it wins early. The Cadets returning seven offensive starters from last years 11 win team including a quarterback that can run and throw. Rice will be looking to replace the key components of last years two-win team and the Owls are arguably bottom five of this year's D-I board teams. These teams met two year's ago with Army leading 35-0 at the half of a 49-12 spanking. The Cadets have shown no compunction in running up the score in recent editions and we can expect more of the same here. |
08-29-19 | Utah -6 v. BYU | 30-12 | Win | 100 | 11 h 49 m | Show
DMack's Thursday College Football Play of the Day is on the Utah Utes The "Holy War" kicks off the 2019 schedule for Utah and BYU. The Utes have won the last three editions by a combined 15 points and this game is always played tough and an important in-state recruiting tool for the winner. The Utes are getting lots of preseason love from the pundits with their 14 returning starters, 7 on each side, and a QB with 19 starts who will have the luxury of handing off to a stud RB and experienced offensive line. The Cougars have 17 starters back but the disparity in talent is significant and home dog (0-3-1) has not been the best of spots under Sitake. |
08-24-19 | Florida -7 v. Miami-FL | 24-20 | Loss | -105 | 32 h 52 m | Show
DMack's 2019 NCAAF First Blood is on the Florida Gators A huge game for Florida off the git go as they face the gauntlet (Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU) in their next four games that games (with all due respect to Towson) that matter. Franks is the real deal at QB for the Gators but he'll have to guide his young offensive line against a pretty good Cane defense. A true frosh won the QB job in South Beach giving the impression that Diaz has a bigger job than met the eye. The Florida defense in elite, top 10 in fact, and the spot is where Gator coach Dan Mullin has made his bones throughout his career. Florida 24-10. |
01-01-19 | Washington v. Ohio State -6.5 | Top | 23-28 | Loss | -106 | 31 h 30 m | Show |
Mack Attack Rose Bowl Super Play is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Can't think of one edge to Washington in this one against a Buckeye team that is reportedly stoked to be here and saying goodbye to Urban Meyer. Washington came into the year with National Championship aspirations that went right out the window with a bad loss at Auburn. He Huskies never recovered and face the nation's No.2 offense here, one that could drop 50 on the Pac-12 champ. Ohio State rolls here in Meyer's send off, let's cal it 45-17. |

01-01-19 | Kentucky +7 v. Penn State | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 26 h 17 m | Show
DMack's 2018-2019 Bowl Season Upset Shocker is on the Kentucky Wildcats Penn State is another team that has to be considered a disappointment this year after putting themselves in a position to make waves early on. McSorely will want o finish a pretty good career on a high note but who's with him ??? Kentucky had an epic year for Stoops and can really establish UK as a program on the come here with a win. The Cats can grind it out on the ground and play ball control to not only keep this one within the touchdown but to also give the Wildcats a chance to win outright. Kentucky 30-28. |

12-31-18 | Michigan State v. Oregon -1.5 | 6-7 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 3 m | Show
DMack's Red Box Bowl Super Play is on the Oregon Ducks Last week, Oregon got the good news that QB Justin Herbert was coming back to school. Back in October, he was the first QB coming off the Big Board but a shoulder injury slowed him in the second half and the Ducks barely managed to finish 8-4. Michigan State was a huge disappointment with 19 starters back yet the Spartans were barely able to beat Rutgers 14-10 in their last game after trailing the entire way. The Quack Attack stops a three game bowl losing streak with a win here. |

12-31-18 | Pittsburgh v. Stanford -4 | Top | 13-14 | Loss | -103 | 4 h 36 m | Show |
Mack Attack Sun Belt Super Play is on the Stanford Cardinal This has been a hugely disappointing year for David Shaw and The Tree. Bryce love has been hurt all year and cost himself millions. Injuries have sure played a big part but this was not vintage Stanford by any means. The Cardinal finished up strong with three wins down the stretch and a month plus to get healthy and to prepare here. Pitt lost final two games by a 66-13 aggregate and has to be wondering what they are doing getting pushed around at the Mexican border. Stanford wire-to-wire, 35-10. |

12-29-18 | Notre Dame +14 v. Clemson | 3-30 | Loss | -134 | 28 h 14 m | Show
DMack's 2018 College Football Bowl Lock of the Year is on Notre Dame. Clemson is good but it was not overpowering in a very down year for the ACC. Notre Dame does everything that gives the Tigers fits. The Irish have a big and physical offensive line and can run the ball. Notre Dame's front seven are the best part of the Irish defense and that will be demonstrated here. In the modern era of college football, just five times has an undefeated team been a dog of a touchdown or more in a bowl. The Dog went 5-0 SU and ATS in those five games. You will need to shop but as you can see, there are 14's out there. |

12-28-18 | Syracuse -1 v. West Virginia | 34-18 | Win | 100 | 29 h 4 m | Show
Mack Attack Pinstripe Bowl Super Play is on the Syracuse Orangemen As we've seen especially in the last couple of days, motivation is key to playing many of these meaningless bowl games. Syracuse was hammered on this field by Notre Dame about a month ago but it is their only loss in a 5-1 SU and ATS run down the stretch. West Virginia lost their last two in games that REALLY counted allowing slightly less than 300 yards per game (570) on the ground while trying to trade points with Grier at the controls. Today a backup that threw 10 passes this year takes over. This is Syracuse first bowl in five years when they beat WVU in this game 38-14 (+4) in 2013. Repeat performance here. |

12-27-18 | Vanderbilt -4 v. Baylor | 38-45 | Loss | -111 | 11 h 33 m | Show
DMack's Vandy/Baylor Texas Bowl Super Play is on the Vanderbilt Commodores Baylor is a nice story going from the Art Briles fiasco and one win last year to 6-6 and a bowl game this year BUT ... this game means so much more to a Vandy program looking for it's first winning season and bowl win since 2013. The Dores had to win three of their final four to get bowl eligible and that was against SEC competition as opposed to Baylor who was a bottom half team in a down year for the Big 12. No doubt that Baylor is a team to watch in the future but today belongs to Vandy who don't get many chances to shine like this with four-year starter Kyle Shurmer (yes, those Shurmers) the key. |

12-27-18 | Duke v. Temple -3.5 | 56-27 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 19 m | Show
Mack Attack Independence Bowl Super Play is on the Temple Owls It seems to be a reoccurring theme for Temple over the past decade to see their football program get good and watch their coach bolt for a better job. This year's defection went to Georgia Tech who perhaps was bit by bad karma while getting blown out last night. Temple is a few defensive players away from being VERY VERY good. This team should have beaten UCF handily and the Owl Offense should do all kinds of business (like 40+ points worth) against a very suspect Duke stop unit. Not the least bit concerned about the hook here ... Temple 45-23. |

12-26-18 | Minnesota v. Georgia Tech -5.5 | 34-10 | Loss | -100 | 31 h 45 m | Show
Mack Attack Quick Lane Bowl Super Play is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Long time option coach Paul Johnson steps away after this game and none of his staff was retained by the new regime. That said, expect a big big effort from current Jackets who won four of their last five with the loss to Georgia. Minnesota is is 5-0 when they allow 15 or less points, 1-6 when they allow more. The Gophers allowed 300+ rushing yards in three games and face an option attack here of the same quality as Army and Navy. PJ Flech is making progress but this is a case of better team that has faced better, with better scheme, and plenty of motivation. G Tech by two touchdowns. |

12-22-18 | Houston v. Army -5 | 14-70 | Win | 100 | 29 h 38 m | Show
DMack's Armed Forces Bowl Super Play is on the Army Cadets Can't see much motivation here for a Houston team that lost three of it' final four games (all key) and will be without QB King (injury) and stud DL Oliver who will be prepping for the NFL. Army is having a monster season thanks to its power ground game and stingy defense. The Cadets haven't lost since September (Oklahoma in OT) and batter people with the option and relentless time of possession. Houston was shredded for 344 when they played Navy so this doesn't appear to be a great matchup for for the Coogs. Army 26-10. |
