Rutgers/Maryland 12:30: Rutgers is not a team that can hang with the Big 10 elite; however, they've proven to be competitive against the also rans of the conference. MD, a big 'also ran' of the Big Ten, is not getting it done under HC Locksley. Despite the talented recruiting classes he's established, the Terps have been a major underachiever. And in the second half of the season, Locksley's bunch just about throws in the white towel, going an abysmal 6-19 SU/7-18 ATS. Rutgers won this game last year. Terps don't offer much fight in the rematch at 1-9 ATS with revenge. Rutgers the call.
OSU/Indiana Noon: OSU looking to avenge last year's playoff loss. It won't be easy. Cignetti has built a legitimate powerhouse in his third year. His Hoosier's are well disciplined, attentive to detail and maintain a hunger, as exhibited last week at Nebraska - showing championship mettle coming back from a 17-6 fourth quarter deficit. Indiana QB Hoover went from turnover prone (13 last year at TCU) to 0 this season. However, Northwestern and Nebraska, although quality defenses, not the same animal as OSU. And he is not the caliber of QB Mendoza was last year. OSU DC Patricia brings another Top 10 defense to the field. OSU was without 5 starters last week vs MD and still blew them out. Sayin should have one of his offensive lineman back from last week; in addition, he'll have his 2nd and 3rd receivers back. And let's not forget what Jeremiah Smith did to Indiana last season; this season, he's turned it up several notches. We'll roll with the Buckeyes.
