The Texas A&M Commerce Lions defeated St. Josephs' 57-54 as an 18-point road favorite on Nov 17 in their last game as an underdog. They are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog of 13.0 or greater and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

This is a simple sell high/buy low spot with Nebraska off blowout wins of 25+ points while Rider took a 95-65 loss to Marquette in its last game. 

This is ugly, but that's also where you can find the most value.

MIKE'S ARIZONA STATE/MISSISSIPPI STATE CBB BOOKIE BLA$TER

The Arizona State Sun Devils have a new look with only three players returning from the team that reached the NCAA Tournament last season. Of those three returning players, forward Alonzo Gaffney is out injured. 

The Mississippi State Bulldogs on the other hand are returning a big majority (and all top five scorers!) of a team that also reached the NCAA Tournament last season. I think the continuity gives them the edge we need to back them here in the season opener.

Creighton has scored 85 and 86 points in their last two games, but now they'll face a very different defense than Baylor and Princeton. San Diego State has allowed 55.8 ppg over its last five games and they held the No. 1 seed Alabama to 64 points in the last round.

MIKE'S 10* FAU/KSU ELITE EIGHT BEST BET

The ninth-seeded Florida Atlantic Owls managed to pull an upset against Tennessee a couple of days ago, but I don't think they'll be able to beat the third-seeded Kansas State here in the Elite Eight. The Wildcats are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring more than 90 points in their previous game.

Alabama is the No. 1 overall seed in the nation, but I think the Aztecs will put them to the test here. San Diego State has held five of its last six opponents to 57 points or fewer and The Tide are at risk of underestimating their opponent here after cruising through their first two games of the tournament. Aztecs are 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Aztecs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 neutral site games. Crimson Tide are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games.

Arkansas upset Kansas to make it to the Sweet 16, but here they'll run into a UConn team that has looked really strong, coming off blowout wins over Iona and St. Mary's. The Huskies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 18-6 ATS in their last 24 NCAA Tournament games.
