Im in the mood for -130 road favs tonight and we are going to cash tickets. The Ducks are the hottest team in the NHL and they win get the win in Vancouver tonight.

Dallas is the better team even tho I love the way the Yotes have been playing. I dont think their defense can keep up with the Stars tonight.

Not sure why this line is only -138 but we are going firing tonight in the NHL as its one of the best cards in a long time. That may mean upset city tonight but im feeling very confident.

The Preds have beaten the lightning in their last 4 so the lightning are due for a win here. Tampa Bay has always won 7 out of 10 but lost their last 2 games on the road. A return home tonight is just what the Doctor has ordered.

Taking Washington on the road in Minnesota tonight. Minnesota used to be an automatic play at home but not this season.

Vancouver is trying to salvage a win in the last game of a 3 game home stand with the Calgary Flames. Calgary playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and on a B2B after losing to Columbus at home last night. Calgary is also 8-20 in their last 28 games in Vancouver. Give me the Nucks at home in this one.

Taking the Canucks at home tonight over a very bad Columbus team.

Toews is back after serving his one game suspension and even tho I do like this Yotes team,. The Black Hawks have dominated them over the years.

Dont like playing a lot but this stars team is good and they shouldnt have any issues tonight in Colorado.

Mcdavid returns to the lineup tonight and that should bring some emotion back into the building. This young team has a lot to prove the second half or your going to see some pieces moving at the deadline. I think we will anyway as the Oliers have way to many forwards and absolutely no defense. 

Coming out firing in the NHL tonight. The Rags will come out of the gate firing on all cylinders.  

Lines moving in our favor. Ducks have been in Boston and well rested since Sunday night. I was with the team yesterday and they were very relaxed. Boston played a hard game in Philly last night and had to travel back to Boston for this back to back game. Ducks win this one.

Waited a little to long on this one but I see no way Columbus matches up with the Caps tonight even at home. The Caps are almost as good on the road this season as they are at home. Columbus beat Washington a week and  half ago in a shoot out in Washington but they are not the same team  without Foligno. Plus they lost Matt Calvert and Defenseman David Savard.

I think the best play on the board tonight is on the under in Winnipeg

Playing St Louis at home tonight over Carolina. Love St Louis and always go against Lack on the road.

I believe the worst we can do is push on this game and I dont see either team hitting 3. This will be a 1-0 2-1 type of game. Under 5-1 in their last 6 meeting and both teams have been under Magnets this season. 

Ive been watching the line on this game and waiting for it to get down to -140 but I think its going to shoot back up. Montreal is tough at home and the Devils have some injury issues right now with Cammalleri and Schlemko out tonight. Ruutu is also sick but he will be playing.

I dont see it difficult to get this game to 3-2. I like Montreal but with Bishop in net you just never know how he is going to play.

I have to Take the Kings as a pure value play tonight. Value comes because Qucik is out tonight and Enroth is in. Enroth is 3-2 but has only given up 1.8 Goals a game. Gotta take the Very Hot Kings at this price anyday

I think Montreal is a more talented team and they get the win today.

Lets go out on a roll in the NHL. St Louis at home has been a cash cow for us and this is an awesome spot again tonight. 

Line has dropped a little bit from its original opening but I thought it opened high which tells me the book makers are highly favoring the Blues in this one. I thought it should open -130-135 so we are right there at this time.

Think this is by far the best game on the board tonight.

The Rangers will get this win at home tonight with the Ducks on a back to back in NY.

Getting great value here because Grubauer is in net for the Caps. Still the best team in the National Hockey League.

I see no reason why this game cant get to 3-2.

Need to get back in the winners circle in the NHL. It amazes me how every year the NHL is just brutal in Dec. This year I have learned to play small until the New Year. Minny should do that for us tonight. 

Good value on this one as San Jose starts their 6 game road trip in Montreal.

This is a very good price for this game even tho its still high. Nashville went from Detroit on Saturday to Boston last night and back to Chicago tonight. Thats a lot of traveling and 3 good teams in 4 days. Chicago should take care of business at home tonight.

Taking the Buins on the road tonight against an road tired Oilers team

I think this is about as low as this one will drop. I thought earlier in the day about going the other way on this one but St Louis has just dominated the Panthers. Gotta back Allen and this time at home. 

I am going with the Flyers in this one tonight on the road. Ottawa has to be tired from their travels out west and the Flyers have really picked up the pace as of late.

You guys know how much I love the over 5. Another game were getting 2 a piece shouldnt be any issue.

For this price I will take the shot on Montreal on the road all day long.

You have the 2 best goalies in the NHL going at it tonight. I thought we may get a playoff line of 4.5 on this one as I see this a 1-0 2-1 type of game. As always they have to play the game but the under is the play for tonight

We got 2 teams here that like to go over when they face each other. I dont seeing a problem getting the score to 2-2 in this one as both teams have plenty of fire power. Minnesota is also 8-1 this season at home so the will not have an issue scoring. Both goalies have a 2.5 GAA so everything is lining up for an over play on this game. 

It will be an emotional night for the Blues as Paul Stastny returns from a broken foot. The Blues have dominated the Sabres winning 7 of their last 8 meetings and 15 of their last 17. This Blues team will have some added pop tonight and they should win this one easily.

I have to back the Hot Rangers on the road vs a beat up Tampa Bay team. When you have 5 top offensive players out it is going to be hard to score against the Rangers. Only thing that worries me is this low line.

Tking a shot tonight on this Kings team on the road. They have been playing very well after some early defensive problems.

Couple choices tonight in the NHL but we will jump on this one now. You guys know I like the over 5's as both teams need to score 2 goals for at least a push. As always we would rather push then lose. Fire power back tonight for the Panthers and Bishop on the bench tonight for Tampa Bay should equal a couple goals for Florida. Im hoping to see 3 goals in the first in this one.

Looking like a good value play tonight on the under. Really figured this one would be at 5 so 5.5 is ideal for this game.

There is a lot of love on the Flyers tonight because if you look at the stats the Caps have lost their last 7 games in Philly. This is a perfect spot tonight to bet the Caps. I like statitics but just like capping, all streaks come to an end. You just hope the winning ones last longer then the losing ones. 

Lets get the money again tonight in the NHL.

We are going to follow good value and get back to where we need to be. St Louis is the far better team and they have no issues winning on the road in a strong Western Conference. New Jersey has been playing better but Jacob Allen has been terrific for the Blues. This should be a low scoring affair so the under is a decent play as well. 

Have to play Winnipeg at home against a road weary Phlly team. This Jets team is just way to good at home and the line shows it.

We have been a pushing machine the last few days and last night was no different. Columbus shot wide right on that empty net 3 times but thats just how its going right now.Tonight we are once again going to back the Dallas Stars. This team is young and full of energy and just playing all around great Hockey. Eddie Lack gets his 4th start of the year tonight for Columbus and he has a 3.60 GAA. This Stars team should put plenty of pucks in the net.

We have to go back and find the value again after a couple sub-par days. This is just like the other night when we pushed and I said thats the worst we will do. I dont see a problem getting a high scoring game here and all we need is 2 goals each.

Going with the Ducks at home for a very good price. Andersson is playing well for the Ducks but the offense has really struggled in the early going. They have played a lot better recently and this is a good spot against a very young Panthers team.

Tough spot tonight for St Louis in my opinion. I trust them at home without some fire power but on the road that is going to be tough. Lets get 2 wins in the NHL tonight

After yesterdays collapse in the 3rd by the Islanders we need to get back in the winning column today. With this being at 5 I see a push as the worst case scenario. I dont see any reason this game cant get to 2-2 early.

Isles will get it done a home tonight.

Need to get this in pretty quick but I see a 5-2 type of game here tonight.

2 teams with a lot of fire power out of the lineup going head to head. Anaheim is only averaging a goal a game. They put up 3 in the first period the other night to take a 3-0 lead and still lost 4-3 as we lucked out as we had the Stars. St Louis is averaging 2.5 goals a game but the scoring has slowed down since Berglund and Statsny hit IR. In their last 5 meetings the under is 4-1 and I see that continuing tonight.

Great even money play

Im getting this one now as the line is going to climb. Dallas has been fantastic and if they stay healthy will be a definate Stanley Cup contender. They have put the pieces together to make a serious push this season. The Ducks come into Dallas not scoring in the last 128 minutes. Thismay be a let down spot for Dallas but I just dont see it with this hungry core of guys.

Definately the value pick of the night even with Price not starting. Montreal has been fantastic and Buffalo has been brutal. When your top scorer has 3 points you know there is a major issue on offense. We always look for value and getting montreal here is great.

Have to take a shot on Dallas at Pittsburgh. We won at Pitt the other night but that was in question most of the night. Have to go with the dog with great value.

Taking the 3-1 Washington Capitals on the road tonight vs the 1-4 Calgary Flames. Most people thought the Flames would come out of the gate strong this year after a great second half last year. That hasnt happened yet and I do not see that happening tonight vs the Caps.

I think this is terrific value for the Preds at home. Looking for this line to be hit in Nashvilles favor closer to game time.

Pittsburgh has really struggled to start the season but there is no way that Crosby doesnt get it going soon and tonight is the perfect spot against Florida at home. Florida is a young up and coming team and playing in a place like Pittsburgh may be  a struggle.

Vig is a little high but the best play on the board for the night. I will play this at -1

Another great value play tonight on St Louis who already took it to Edmonton once this season.

Really liking Montreal at home tonight with great value.

Looking for a high scoring affair in Tampa tonight between 2 very offensive happy teams.

This game has now dropped down into our price range. I didnt want to play this at -150 or more earlier as I figured it would come back closer to game time. Chicago has lost their last 11 games in Philly going all the way back to 1996. Most of the guys who dont cap a game or watch the game will just go by that trend and bet Philly but we dont work that way. Chicago is clearly the better team and we know this team can win on the road. Philly has had a hard time finding the net and going up against Crawford tonight will not be an easy task. Im looking for Chicago to come out firing on Neuvith and getting that early lead.

Lets get #4 in a row in the NHL.

I will continue to play against Edmonton on the road until they show me they can play together as a team. Another very young team that is going to take a little time to learn the game. You have Eberle out and now Taylor Hall is sick and doubtful tonight. 

Great spot here for Dallas at home 

This is Nashvilles first road test of the season and they have the perfect opportunity to go 3-0. New Jersey is predicted to struggle all season with this young core of players and it will take them some time to begin to gel together. I have to back the Preds on the road in this matchup.

I am taking the over in this afternoon affair for plus money. Rask has looked awful and I look at the b's to pour it on to stop the bleeding and going 0-3 at home to start the season.

If the Kings play defense like they did the other night then this one will definately go over. We know they can put the puck in the net and the Yotes dont have one of the top defenses in Hockey. This is a very good bet at this price.

I see some high powered offense in this one to start the season and getting plus money is all the better. Tonight we get to see #1 pick connor mcdavid take the ice for the first time and I am hoping he doesnt take a back seat like the 3 other #1 picks Edmonton has taking in the last 6 years. 4 number 1 picks in 6 years should change a franchise but it hasnt worked yet. Should be some goals scored in this one.

I think this is a decent price on Ottawa. Did Buffalo get better this season? Of course they did and I see coach Blysma really turning this team around. I just think its to early in the season. Drafting Eichel and picking up Kane and O' Reilly had given them a top line and also a little depth this season. I just see the experience of Ottawa being the factor in this one.

Been debating this one all afternoon but have to pull the trigger. The kings are the far more experienced team with a lot to prove early after missing the playoffs last season.

First NHL bet of the season and we are looking to continue on our success on the ice. 6 winning seasons in a row. Have to back Montreal on the road tonight. I didnt see Toronto do enough in the off-season to warrant them any sort of contender in the east. Actually I think they are much worse then last year.

Chicago wins the cup tonight at home. This can be number 3 in 6 years under Joel Quenville who is also 9-0 in game 6. Tampa Bay played flat last game and without Kucherov the offense sputtered. He is ? for tonight and even if he does play, how healthy will he be? Stamkos has been off the scoring sheet for way to long in these playoffs which makes Tampa Bay getting this far quite impressive. The Black Hawks want to get it done tonight in front of their home fans.

What else can I say besides I will go down with this ship. I have never had such a bad NHL stretch in my life and these Hawks are freaking killing me. They should have never lost the other night after taking the lead but they got lazy and Tampa Scored 10 seconds later. Must win situation as home tonight.

Great Saturday and a horrible Sunday but today is a new day and we are going back to the NHL. We played Tampa Bay in a must win game 2 but we are going back to Chicago tonight on home ice. If not for a couple dumb penalties by Sharp at the end of game one, the outcome could have been much different.  Bryan Bickell is upgraded to probable after missing the last game with a concussion and there is even a shot for Van Riemsdyk to make his return tonight. Even with a game 2 win all the momentum is still behind Chicago. Going to be very tough for Tampa Bay to win in Chicago but they did win a game 7 in MSG.

Black Hawks all the way tonight.

After a third period meltdown at home the other night this is a must win. If they go to Chicago down 2 games, this series could end up a sweep. I have the Black Hawks winning the series but I have it going 6 games. Bishop played great the other night but his defense collapsed late in the game. I do not see that happening at home in game 2. Bickell is ? tonight for Chicago after suffering a concussion in game 1.

This is my top play of the week. 

Most of my clients knew this was coming so here it is. The NY Rangers are 7-0 in game 7 match-ups at Madison Square Garden. Tampa Bay had every opportunity to put the Rangers out and move on to the Stanley Cup Finals but they failed. This NY Rangers team is just a team of destiny this year and I do not see them losing on home ice in game 7. Its so difficult for a road team to even win a game 7 nevermind trying to win that game at MSG. Henrik Lundqvist is 15-3 in his last 18 elimination games. I am not a big fan of his but he has been clutch when needed.

Trying to push this play out before the deadline I made a mistake and realize this is game 5. I see Chicago winning tonight and getting home ice back in their favor. They played a hard fought game the other night and I still see them being the better team. Very heavy money coming in right now on Anaheim so the price is even better.

We going to bang this one right now as this none will continue to climb. This is do or die time for the Black Hawks on home ice. Absolute must win and they will get it done tonight. They played well at home the other night but just couldnt get it done.

This game is a no-brainer for me and I have been waiting for this game for a week.  Chicago returns home where they are undefeated in the playoffs. Definitely out of the 4 teams left, the most difficult place to play. Chicago stole home ice advantage after winning a 3 over time thriller in Anaheim. When it gets to this point in the season, defense and goaltending win Championships. Chicago is better in both of those categories.

Take Chicago at home tonight. 

We have been quiet in the NHL the last few days but we are making are shot right here. I see a 3-2 game tonight with it going either way. This line is getting hit right now and it will be popping to 5 all over the board shortly.

Game 7 at home and all the momentum has shifted to the Rangers. This is going to be an electric MSG and I am not sold as Ovi being a big player in the clutch. Hes a big goal scorer that rarely shows up in a big moment. I see this being a nail biter but the Rangers will get it done on home ice in game 7.  Im surprised that only 60% of the public is on the Rangers in this one. I figured it would be around 80% and that even gives me more confidence in this one.

Same Philosophy as last night. Carey Price and Montreal will not be eliminated at home tonight. With the value we are getting on this play it is absolutely a no-brainer. I know all the past trends point to Tampa Bay as Tampa has absolutely dominated Montreal as of late. This is an elimination game in the Bell Centre and there is no trend that takes that into consideration. That place is going to be crazy during warm ups and this is must see TV tonight.  

Well Hudson was garbage last night but we are on to another day. I am taking the NY Rangers tonight at MSG. I know the public is all over the Rangers tonight but this is do or die. I just dont see the number 1 team in the east going down easy at home. MSG will be absolutely electric and the Rangers with their experience will come to play. Im not a big Rangers fan but I can see them coming back to win this series.  I hope they do not but they have the players to get it done.

This play will be my top play of the week.

15 WINS IN A ROW and going for number 16 this afternoon. Absolutely have to take the Rangers this afternoon. I think Washington definately has a shot to beat the Rangers this series but it will not happen today. NY is still angry about the no call with a few seconds left the other night costing them a game. They are going to come out hungry in front of the home crowd. In Rangers fans minds this is already a must win after their recent playoff flops. MSG will be electric this afternoon and the Rangers will tie up this series 1-1. The Rangers were not the best team in the east for no reason. 

Line opened where I expected it to open but it has dropped almost .20 since open. Public is favoring the road dog in the first game of the series. Im sorry but the Black hawks are a Playoff proven team with a cup to show for it. They have won 2 Stanley Cups in the last 5 years anjd a lot of those players are still here. The home team has won 11 of the last 14 meetings and the Wild are 1-6 in their last 7 meetings in Chicago. I just think the Hawks will be very physical today and will jump out in front early in this series. 

This line is all over the place but 5dimes has the best value right now. Anaheim at home is very tough and this young Calgary team is going to find that out this series. The Home team in this series is 41-11-1 and Calgary is 2-28-3 in their last 33 games in Anaheim. Those numbers are absolutely staggering and I do not see any reason for this to end tonight. Anaheim has the experience and coming back in all those games vs Winnipeg  gives them the momentum.  Lets see how Hiller can do coming back facing his old team in the Playoffs.

The home team has won 8 of their last 10 between these 2 teams which makes me like Washington even more tonight. This series has been about the home team and it will continue to be about the home team in a game 7. The fav in the game has also won 8 out of 10 which gives us a 16-4 trend in this game. The Isles are also 1-4 in their last 5 in Washington which makes this a top play and our first round Top play.
