01-11-20 | Burnley v. Chelsea OVER 2.75 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 50 | 79 h 51 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Chelsea sits fourth in the Premier League table, and they come into Saturday's home fixture versus Burnley off a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. Clean sheets have been few and far between for Chelsea, and they have conceded a whopping 29 goals in 21 matches. Burnley can certainly score, they have 24 goals in 21 matches. Chelsea hasn't been all that strong at Stamford Bridge, with just a +1 goal differential. These two teams have scored at least three goals combined in the last five head to head meetings, and they have scored at least four in each of the last three meetings. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-22-19 | Chelsea v. Tottenham Hotspur OVER 3 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on over 2.5. I bet on over 2.5 goals in the Spurs 2-1 win over Wolves last weekend, and here is what I said prior to the game: "The Spurs played Wolves twice in 2018, and they won both scoring a combined six goals in those games. Wolves wasn't an easy opponent, scoring three goals of their own in those matches. Tottenham has been scoring plenty of goals lately, with at least three goals in each of their last six matches. They have also conceded their share, allowing eight goals in their last six matches. They posted just one clean sheet during that span, in a 5-0 win over Burnley." Chelsea has conceded 25 goals in 17 matches, more than any other team in the top nine spots in the Premier League standings. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-15-19 | Tottenham Hotspur v. Wolverhampton Wanderers OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 75 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Spurs played Wolves twice in 2018, and they won both scoring a combined six goals in those games. Wolves wasn't an easy opponent, scoring three goals of their own in those matches. Tottenham has been scoring plenty of goals lately, with at least three goals in each of their last six matches. They have also conceded their share, allowing eight goals in their last six matches. They posted just one clean sheet during that span, in a 5-0 win over Burnley. Wolverhampton hasn't had any trouble scoring either, with two or more goals in five of their last six matches. We aren't likely to see either team post a clean sheet here on Sunday. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-07-19 | Manchester United v. Manchester City OVER 3 | 2-1 | Push | 0 | 7 h 38 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 2.5. Manchester City is coming off an upset win over Spurs by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils have now scored 14 goals in their last six matches in all competitions. They face a daunting task at the Etihad, where they lost by a score of 3-1 in their last visit. Manchester City has scored at least two goals in each of their last three against Manchester United. The Citizens lead the Premier League in goal differential at +26. We should see plenty of scoring in this Manchester Derby. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-23-19 | Chelsea +1.5 v. Manchester City | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Chelsea +1.5. Manchester City is coming off a devastating loss to Liverpool before the international break, a result that makes it highly unlikely that they will repeat as league champions. Chelsea now sits ahead of City in the Premier League table, and the Blues come into the Etihad as winners of seven straight league matches. Chelsea has all the momentum in their favor, while City is in a bad place at the moment. My money is on Chelsea to give the Citizen's all they can handle. Take CHE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-10-19 | Manchester City v. Liverpool +163 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 163 | 34 h 57 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Liverpool. It's been clear very early this season that Liverpool is the team to beat in the Premier League. Last week City had to come from behind and score in the dying minutes to beat a Southampton side that is facing relegation. Poor defending has plagued City since the beginning of the season, as evidenced by losses to Norwich and Wolverhamton just a few weeks apart. Liverpool has the edge in the last five head to head matches (2-2-1) and Liverpool is 22-0-2 at Anfield the last two seasons. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Chelsea v. Burnley OVER 2.75 | Top | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5 goals. Chelsea comes into Saturday's match versus Burnley in top form, the Blues have won five straight matches in all competitions. Chelsea sits fourth in the Premier League table, and their 19 goals for are just two less than first place Liverpool. The difference is that Chelsea has also conceded 14 goals, which is twice as many as Liverpool. Recent matches versus Burnley have been high scoring, with three or more goals scored in each of the last four meetings. The last time these two teams met the result was a 2-2 draw. I fancy Burnley to get a goal here, but I don't think it will be enough to salvage any points. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-22-19 | Atalanta v. Manchester City OVER 3.75 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 50 m | Show
This is a play on Atalanta vs Manchester City over 2.5 goals. Manchester City is hosting the third place team from the Series A on UCL Match Day 3, and Atalanta is the highest scoring team in the Italian League. In just eight matches they have 21 goals, a whopping five more than first place Juventus. Their potent offense has made up for their mediocre defending, as they have also conceded 13 goals in eight matches. Manchester City might be behind Liverpool in the Premier League table, but their +20 goal differential is the best in England. We should see a shootout at the Etihad in Manchester. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
10-19-19 | Norwich City v. AFC Bournemouth -138 | Top | 0-0 | Loss | -138 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on AFC Bournemouth. Norwhich City is coming off three straight losses by a combined margin of 9-1. This follows their stunning upset win over Manchester City, which appears to be an outlier, rather than the type of performance you can expect week to week. That was also a home game, and Norwich 0-4 with a -9 goal differential in away matches (worst in the Premier League). Bournemouth has a winning record with a positive goal differential in home matches dating back to last season, and this is a team that is poised to secure a spot in the top half of the table. Take Bournemouth. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-28-19 | West Ham United v. AFC Bournemouth OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-2 | Win | 100 | 48 h 29 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Both Bournemouth and West Ham are off to a great start in the Premier League, sitting 5th and 6th respectively in the table. That's above Tottenham and Manchester United. These teams can certainly score. Bournemouth scored three in a 3-1 win over Southampton in their last match, and prior to that they defeated Everton by a score of 3-1. West Ham is coming off a 2-0 win over Manchester United. In the last five head to head meetings, both teams scored in four of those matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-22-19 | Liverpool +109 v. Chelsea | 2-1 | Win | 109 | 5 h 14 m | Show
This is a 10* play on Liverpool. Liverpool will be neck and neck with Manchester City in the battle for Premier League superiority all season long, and after City won 8-0 at home versus Watford on Saturday, the ball is in Liverpool's court here on Sunday. There was a time when travelling to Stamford Bridge would be a frightening prospect, but this Chelsea team is still trying to find it's identity. Chelsea has conceded 11 goals in five matches, and sloppy defending will be punished versus a side with the quality of Liverpool. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-21-19 | Montreal v. LA Galaxy -152 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 64 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on LA Galaxy. When Zlatan Ibrahimovic landed in LA in 2018, LeBron James had just signed with the Lakers. Zlatan was asked to comment about coming to LA, and he said "now LA has a King and a God." At the time it seemed a little over the top, but he since established himself as the most dominant player that MLS has ever seen. He's scored 26 goals this season, just two fewer than Carlos Vela of LAFC. The Galaxy are moving up in the standings, and they host a Montreal team that is coming off a home loss to expansion team Cincinnati. You could call this a must win for Montreal, but if they can't beat Cincinnati at home, are the playoffs at all a realistic goal? I like LA to walk all over the Impact here in this game. Take LA. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-16-19 | West Ham United v. Aston Villa OVER 2.5 | 0-0 | Loss | -167 | 18 h 30 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. The last time these two teams played, West Ham won by a score of 3-1. The Hammers are coming off three consecutive wins, scoring seven goals in those matches. Aston Villa scored twice in a home win over Everton in their last match at Villa Park, and given the history between these two teams I think it's unlikely that either side will post a clean sheet. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

09-14-19 | Newcastle United v. Liverpool OVER 2.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 56 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. Liverpool will host Newcastle at Anfield, and so far in 2019 the Reds look as dangerous as they were a year ago. They have won five straight, and scored an incredible 14 goals in those matches. Newcastle has won just once in their last five matches, but they scored at least one goal in four of those five games. History tells us that when these teams get together we should expect to see some goals. Liverpool won the last meeting on the road by a score of 3-2, and they won at Anfield by a score of 4-0 last December. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-31-19 | Colorado Rapids v. New York -233 | 2-0 | Loss | -233 | 20 h 51 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the New York Red Bulls. The Red Bulls are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, and they host the cellar dwelling Colorado Rapids Saturday. Colorado is tied on points with Vancouver for the last spot in the Western Conference. The Rapids have just one win in 13 away matches this season, and they have a -12 goal differential in those games. The Red Bulls have a solid home record of 8-2-4 with a +11 goal differential. I'll take the home favorite here. Take NYRB. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-31-19 | Norwich City v. West Ham United OVER 2.75 | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -155 | 136 h 36 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. It has been a successful return to the Premier League for Norwich City, scoring six goals in three matches. While they have just one win (3-1 over Newcastle), their losses have come to top clubs Chelsea and Liverpool. Scoring a pair of goals at home in a 3-2 loss to Chelsea suggests that this team can find the net. They face a West Ham team on Saturday that has had all sorts of trouble keeping opponents off the score sheet. West Ham has conceded a Premier League worst seven goals in three matches, and few teams conceded more goals than the Hammers last season. History suggests we should see some scoring in this match, as the last two meetings ended in a 2-2 draw. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-21-19 | San Jose v. Los Angeles FC -243 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 27 h 23 m | Show
This is a 5* play on LAFC. LAFC has not lost at home this season, with a record of 10-0-1 and a +22 goal differential. They will host the San Jose Earthquakes tonight, and they have out-scored San Jose 8-1 while winning both meetings in 2019. San Jose is coming off back to back losses to Colorado and Sporting KC, and they should find themselves over-matched against Carlos Vela and company. Take LAFC. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-21-19 | Columbus v. New York -193 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 66 h 8 m | Show
This is an 8* play on NYFC. NYFC is one of the hottest teams in MLS, coming into tonight's game versus Columbus as winners of six of their last seven home games. They are just four points out of first place in the Eastern Conference, behind Atlanta and Philly. The Crew rank 11th in the East, ahead of only expansion team Cincinnati. Columbus ranks 20th in the MLS in away matches, with a record of 2-8-2 and a -9 goal differential. NYFC has a +11 goal differential in 11 home matches. Take NYFC. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-17-19 | AFC Bournemouth v. Aston Villa OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 107 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. AFC Bournemouth scored 56 goals in the Premier League season, the most of any team outside the top 6. They weren't quite as sharp on defense, conceding 70 goals, the most of any team that avoided relegation. They will play at Villa Park on Saturday, and Aston Villa is coming off a 3-1 loss to Spurs in their first game back in the Premier League. These two teams have gone over in two of the last three head to head matches, and I expect to see another sloppy game with plenty of goals here in this match. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-11-19 | New York v. Atlanta United -120 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 20 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Atlanta FC. I bet on Atlanta in their last home match, and they defeated the LA Galaxy by a score of 3-0. Here is what I said prior to the match: "The defending champions got off to a brutal start to the season, but Atlanta comes into today's home game versus the LA Galaxy with the second best home record in all of MLS. They have lost just one in 12 home matches this season." I also bet on NYFC in their last home match, but their win over Houston was far from impressive. They needed a late goal to win 3-2 against a Dynamos side that was down to 10 men for the entire second half. Take ATL. GL, Jesse Schule |

|||||||
08-09-19 | Norwich City v. Liverpool -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 13 h 6 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. Newly promoted Norwich City will have their work cut out for them in their first match of the Premier League season, playing Liverpool at Anfield. Liverpool lost just one match all of last season, and still only finished second behind Manchester City. They scored a whopping 89 goals in 38 matches, and they scored 55 goals in 19 home matches. History doesn't bode well for Norwich, as Liverpool has scored 19 goals in five matches against Norwich since 2013. Both these sides have gone over 2.5 goals in four of their last five matches, and another high scoring match should be expected here in the season opener. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-08-19 | Houston Dynamo v. New York -198 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 20 h 4 m | Show
This is a 7* play on NYFC. It was a terrible start to the season for NYFC, but they come into tonight's home game against Houston as winners of five of their last six home matches. The Dynamos are one of the worst teams in Major League Soccer, and they really struggle on the road. I bet the over when Houston played at Toronto in July, and here is what I said prior to that match: "the Dynamo have lost three straight by a combined score of 11-3. Houston has been plagued by sloppy defending all season, and that is especially true on the road. The Dynamo are 1-8 with a -13 goal differential in nine matches on the road this season." They actually won that game because Toronto rested several starters, but they likely won't be so fortunate here in New York. Take NYFC. GL, Jesse Schule |

08-03-19 | LA Galaxy v. Atlanta United -163 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 120 h 12 m | Show
This is a 10* play on Atlanta FC. The defending champions got off to a brutal start to the season, but Atlanta comes into today's home game versus the LA Galaxy with the second best home record in all of MLS. They have lost just one in 12 home matches this season. The Galaxy are 4-1-5 on the road. What was already going to be a tough game for the visitors will be made even more difficult with both leading scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Diego Polenta suspended for this match. The Galaxy should find themselves outgunned by Josef Martinez and company in Atlanta. Take ATL. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
07-27-19 | FC Cincinnati v. Toronto FC -1.5 | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -108 | 103 h 38 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Toronto FC. Toronto is coming off a 3-1 home loss to Houston, the team with the MLS worst road record. A week later they host a Cincinnati team that has allowed an MLS worst 51 goals. Toronto rested several starters in the first half in their loss to Houston, and they payed the price. Expect a far stronger lineup here on Saturday. Cincinnati is coming off back to back losses by a combined score of 6-1, and they rank dead last in MLS with a -30 goal differential. They are 2-1-9 with a -21 goal differential on the road. This is a far bigger mismatch that the price would suggest. Take TOR. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
07-21-19 | New England v. FC Cincinnati OVER 2.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -154 | 17 h 31 m | Show
This is a 5* play on NE@CIN to go Over 2.5. Only one team in the Western Conference has conceded more goals than New England, and that's Cincinnati. The expansion team has conceded an MLS worst 49 goals in 21 matches. They have found a bit of their own scoring prowess recently though, netting six goals in their last three matches. Unfortunately they have conceded nine goals in those games. New England has scored 10 goals in their last four matches, and I think we can expect plenty of scoring in a match between two teams that can't play defense. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

|||||||
07-13-19 | Toronto FC v. Montreal OVER 2.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -118 | 8 h 39 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. These two teams have a history of scoring plenty of goals in recent meetings. Both teams have struggled defensively, ranking among the worst in MLS in goals against. Montreal has a better record, and they come in hot, scoring seven goals in their last four matches. The problem is that they conceded seven goals in those games as well. Toronto hasn't played well lately, but a match against their Canadian rivals might just inspire them. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
07-07-19 | United States v. Mexico | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Mexico. The USA Women already won the World Cup Final earlier in the day, but don't count on the men making it a clean sweep in the evening. They face a far more talented Mexican squad, and they just don't have the experience to match up against Mexico. History certainly favors the Mexicans, as they have defeated the USA in four of the last five meetings in the Gold Cup Final. USA will miss the likes of Michael Bradley and Jose Altidore. Take MEX. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-29-19 | Sweden (W) v. Germany (W) -127 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -127 | 62 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Germany. The Germans have won all four of their matches at this World Cup, and they have posted clean sheets in all four of those games. They will meet Sweden in the Quarterfinals, and they are 4-0-1 in the last five head to head matches versus the Swedes. The Swedes lost 2-0 to the United States, and they really were not all that competitive in that game. Prior to that they won three straight matches against inferior teams, but didn't look all that sharp in any of those wins. They were quite fortunate in their win over Canada, and the Canadians failed to take advantage of several quality chances, including a missed penalty. Take GER. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-29-19 | Netherlands (W) +119 v. Italy (W) | Top | 2-0 | Win | 119 | 59 h 43 m | Show |
This is an 8* play on the Netherlands. I won with Netherlands in their last match, a win over Japan. Here is what I said prior to that game: "The Dutch ladies come into the knockout round as winners of all three of their group stage matches, and they have won five straight in all competitions by a combined score of 16-2. They are great at using a size advantage on set pieces setting up headers in the box." They face Italy in the Quarterfinals, and the Italians coming off a 2-0 win over China. I've been far more impressed with the Dutch in this tournament, and I expect them to handle Italy. Take NED. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-28-19 | Argentina v. Venezuela | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 69 h 6 m | Show
This is a 5* play on the draw. Argentina is heavily favored in this Copa America matchup versus Venezuela, but I don't believe their recent form would justify that. They are 1-1-1 in the tournament so far, and they settled for a 1-1 draw against Paraguay. Venezuela coming in as an underdog would be quite pleased with a draw, and that has been a familiar result in recent matches. Two of their three matches here at the Copa America have been draws. These two teams have played to a draw in two of the last three head to head meetings. It wouldn't be a shocker to see this game go to extra time and perhaps penalties. Take DRAW. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-25-19 | Japan (W) v. Netherlands (W) -111 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 24 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Netherlands. The Dutch ladies come into the knockout round as winners of all three of their group stage matches, and they have won five straight in all competitions by a combined score of 16-2. They are great at using a size advantage on set pieces setting up headers in the box. This should be particularly difficult to deal with for a Japan team who's ladies are much smaller than the Dutch. Japan has just one win in it's last four matches, and they didn't look all that sharp in a 2-0 loss to England. Take NED. GL, Jesse Schule |

06-22-19 | Australia (W) v. Norway (W) OVER 3 | 1-1 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 33 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 2.5. The Australians have plenty of firepower, totaling seven goals in their last two matches. Sam Kerr is rated as one of the top women at this World Cup, and she proved why when she netted four goals in the last match against Jamaica. The Aussie women have been pretty shoddy on defense however, conceding a whopping 13 goals in their last five matches. It's unlikely that either of these two teams will post a clean sheet, as Norway has also looked vulnerable. With VAR reviewing anything close, no penalties will be missed. The strict rules for goaltenders coming off their line will also lead to less missed penalties. I expect both teams to score here in a high scoring game. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-20-19 | USA (W) -1.5 v. Sweden (W) | Top | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 37 h 47 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on USA. Sweden has been one of the top teams in Women's soccer in recent seasons, and they have beaten the Americans at the World Cup in 2011. The Swedes are 1-1-3 in the last five head to head matches, but I haven't been all that impressed with Sweden at this tournament. A 5-1 win over Thailand wasn't as impressive as the score would indicate, and their win over Chile wasn't convincing either. This USA team has already made it clear that they will take as many goals as they can get, and I expect them to fill the net once again here against Sweden. Take USA. GL, Jesse Schule |

06-02-19 | New England v. LA Galaxy -176 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -176 | 25 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on LA Galaxy. Zlatan came off his suspension and didn't waste any time making his mark. Ibrahimovic scored and added an assist in a 2-0 win over Kansas CIty last week. He faces plenty of criticism for his bad attitude, his arrogance and his overall bad behavior. His talent though is undeniable, outside of Messi and Ronaldo, he is probably the best pure scorer in the world. At 37 years old he must be past his prime? His 10 goals in 11 matches this season tell a different story. He faces a New England team that has conceded an Eastern Conference worst 32 goals, and the result should be another easy W for LA. Take LA. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
06-01-19 | Tottenham Hotspur v. Liverpool +102 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 102 | 458 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Liverpool. Manchester City just barely edged out Liverpool for first place in the Premier League this season. It came down to the final day, with City winning the league by a single point. Liverpool scored 89 goals in 38 matches (22 more than Spurs). They conceded just 22 goals (17 fewer than Spurs). Tottenham is only in the finals after a controversial win over Manchester City, and a shocking come from behind win over Ajax. This Spurs side is lucky to be here, and I expect them to be outclassed in the Final by a superior Liverpool squad. Harry Kane is set to return from an ankle injury. Asked whether Kane would play against Liverpool in Madrid, Pochettino said: "I can't say he's 100%, whether he will be available or on the bench or out, but we are so happy and positive about his progression. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
05-19-19 | Colorado Rapids v. LA Galaxy OVER 2.5 | 1-0 | Loss | -200 | 28 h 43 m | Show
This is a 5* play on over 2.5. The LA Galaxy are coming off consecutive losses, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn't score in either of those two matches (at Columbus and at home versus NYFC). Zlatan isn't often held off the score sheet, he's scored nine goals in 10 matches so far this season. He will start against a Colorado team that has conceded 30 goals in 11 matches this season. The Rapid have a stranglehold in last place in the Western Conference, with a record of 0-2-9. I can't see Colorado earning any points here on the road against an LA team coming off back to back losses. Look for the Galaxy to win big. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
05-12-19 | Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Liverpool OVER 2.5 | 0-2 | Loss | -182 | 8 h 41 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 2.5. Liverpool will come into the final match day trailing Manchester City by just a single point, and they will need a miracle to finish first in the Premier League. The Citizens will be playing at Brighton Hove Albion, a bottom feeder that is already safe from relegation. The task isn't as easy for Liverpool, facing a Wolverhampton team that has scored 47 goals in 37 matches this season. The Wanderers sit seventh in the table just below Manchester United. Four of the last five matches between these teams have seen at least three goals, and I expect to see plenty of scoring here in this season finale. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-04-19 | FC Cincinnati v. San Jose -113 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 29 h 9 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the San Jose Earthquake. The newest team in the MLS (Cincinnati) comes into Saturday's match at San Jose as losers of four straight. What's worse is that they failed to score in all four of those games. San Jose has just two wins this season, but they are 2-2-1 in their last four overall, and they have won their last two home games by a combined score of 7-1. Shea Salinas is in scorching form for the Eathquakes, scoring three times in his last three matches. San Jose is 2-2-1 when he's in the starting lineup, and 0-3 when he doesn't start. Take SJ. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-27-19 | Portland v. Toronto FC -145 | 2-1 | Loss | -145 | 3 h 39 m | Show
This is a 7* play on Toronto. After a championship season in 2017, Toronto took a major step backwards last season. So far in 2019 they look primed to return to the top teir of the MLS. The addition of Alejandro Pozuelo has already paid dividends. The 27 year old Spaniard has scored four goals in his first four matches with Toronto. The Portland Timbers are in town today, and they represent the bottom of the barrell in the inferior Western Conference. Portland sits in 11th place in the West, conceding a whopping 18 goals in just seven matches. They have only scored five goals in those games, and I don't think they have the firepower to keep up to Toronto. Take TFC. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-24-19 | Manchester City v. Manchester United OVER 3 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -120 | 232 h 5 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 3. The last time we saw the Manchester Derby play such a key role in the Premier League Title was back in 2009. These two teams put on quite a show in that game, Manchester United scored the winner in injury time, and the Red Devils won by a score of 4-3. I expect today's game to be another classic, and we should see plenty of scoring. Manchester City is coming off an epic Champions League defeat to Tottenham, winning 4-3 but losing on Aggregate because of the away goals. The potential winner for Manchester City was disallowed by VAR. Manchester United has been dreadful defensively, and they allowed four goals in a loss to Everton over the weekend. This game should be a shootout. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-20-19 | Kansas City v. San Jose OVER 2.5 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 25 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The San Jose Earthquakes have lost five of six games so far, with a -10 goal differential. They host Kansas City on Saturday, and KC is just 2-3-1 despite a +7 goal differential. Neither of these two teams are great defensively, and we should see an open game here tonight. We've seen a combined 10 goals in the last two head to head meetings between these teams, and KC has allowed a whopping 13 goals in their last four games overall. San Jose has seen at least three goals combined in all six of their games this season. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-17-19 | Tottenham Hotspur v. Manchester City OVER 2.5 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 2 h 19 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. Manchester City returns home for this second leg match against Spurs needing to score at least twice to advance in the Champions League. If Spurs score just one goal, City will need three goals to advance. Needless to say, a conservative approach just won't do for the home side here. Fear not City fans, your club has the best home record in the Premier League, scoring 55 goals in 17 matches with a +43 goal differential. This should be an exciting match at the Etihad. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-14-19 | Chelsea v. Liverpool -156 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 120 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Liverpool. Liverpool comes into Sunday's home match versus Chelsea sitting two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table. They can't afford to slip up here at home if they want to hold off Manchester City in a heated battle for the Premier League Title. Chelsea is coming off three straight wins, but those results weren't all that impressive. Their win over Cardiff City at the end of March was aided by a controversial "offside" goal with only six minute left on the clock. Liverpool hasn't lost at Anfield this season, boasting a home record of 14-0-2. They have a +36 goal differential in those matches. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-13-19 | Philadelphia v. LA Galaxy OVER 2.5 | 0-2 | Loss | -200 | 6 h 17 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. The LA Galaxy have won three straight, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has three goals in just two matches since his return. They host the red hot Philadelphia Union tonight, and Philly comes in as winners of three straight as well. The Union totalled seven goals in those three wins. I expect to see both teams score here in LA, and we should see at least three goals combined. The Galaxy won by a score of 3-1 in the most recent head to head meeting, and four of the last five meetings have seen at least four goals combined. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
04-06-19 | Portland v. San Jose OVER 2.5 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 32 h 49 m | Show
This is a 5* play on POR@SJ to go Over the total. The San Jose Earthquakes and the Portland Timbers are sitting at the bottom of the table in the Western Conference. The Earthquakes have conceded an MLS worst 14 goals in four matches, while Portland has conceded just two fewer in as many matches. Portland opened the season with a wild 3-3 draw at Colorado in the snow, and has since lost three straight. This is familiar territory for San Jose, as the Earthquakes finished last in the West last year, conceding an MLS worst 71 goals in 34 matches. Portland though finished first in the West two years ago, and made the playoffs last year. We should see both these teams get plenty of chances to score here this afternoon. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-31-19 | Portland v. LA Galaxy OVER 2.5 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 28 h 8 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. The LA Galaxy won 3-2 at home versus Minnesota in their last match, and another high scoring game is expected as they host Portland tonight. The Timbers have conceded a whopping 10 goals in three matches so far this season, going 0-2-1. The Galaxy scored 66 goals last season, only one team in the West scored more (LAFC). Portland was 4-4-9 with a -11 goal differential in away matches last season. The Timbers conceded 35 goals in those games. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-31-19 | Tottenham Hotspur v. Liverpool -164 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 2 h 38 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Liverpool. After Manchester City took care of business on Saturday, the Reds have dropped to second place in the Premier League table. They need a win today at home versus Spurs if they want to reclaim the top spot. Spurs have just one win in their last five Premier League matches, while Liverpool is 4-0-1 in their last five matches. Liverpool has had the better of Spurs over the last five head to head meetings, going 3-1-1 in the last five matches. Liverpool is undefeated at home this season (13-0-2) with a +35 goal differential. Spurs come in having conceded seven goals in their last four matches. All signs point to a win for the home side. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-30-19 | Watford v. Manchester United OVER 2.5 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 106 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The honeymoon phase is over at Old Trafford, and after a record start under Ole Gunna Soslkjaer the Red Devils have lost conecutive league matches, and have conceded six goals in their last three matches. They scored just one goal while losing back to back away games, but a return to Old Trafford could spark the offense. Romelu Lukaku failed to score in a loss to Arsenal before the break, but he scored six goals in his previous three starts. Only three teams in the Premier League have scored more goals that Manchester United (58). The Red Devils host Watford, who are firmly in the top half of the table despite a negative goal differential on the season. We should see a high scoring game in Manchester. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-29-19 | New York v. Toronto FC OVER 2.5 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 1 h 25 m | Show
This is a 5* play on over 2.5. Toronto FC is looking for it's first ever 3-0 start to a season, and they scored a total of six goals in their first two games. New York City FC is still in search of it's first win, coming in with three draws so far this season. Two of those games ended with a final score of 2-2, and the other was a 0-0 draw in bad weather against DC United. In five head to head meetings since 2016, these teams have scored a combined 4+ goals in four of those five matches. The exception was a 2-1 home win for New York City at Yankee Stadium last season. I expect plenty of goals here in Toronto. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-17-19 | Los Angeles FC v. New York OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-2 | Win | 100 | 14 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on LAFC@NYFC to go Over the total. LAFC was one of the highest scoring teams in the MLS last year, and they are coming off a 4-1 home win over Portland last week. New York FC opened the season with a 2-2 draw versus Orlando, but they played to a 0-0 draw last week versus DC United. These teams have only met once in the MLS, playing to a 2-2 draw. New York finished in third in the Eastern Conference last year, and this team has plenty of goal scoring talent. We should see an exciting game here at Yankee Stadium. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-16-19 | Huddersfield Town v. West Ham United -169 | Top | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 44 h 48 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on West Ham. Huddersfield Town has a stranglehold on last place in the Premier League table, with just three wins in 30 matches this season. They come into this weekend's match at West Ham as losers of six of their last seven matches, and they failed to score a goal in five of those games. West Ham has won six straight at home, and they sit in the top 10 in the Premier League table. The Hammers have won two of the last three head to head meetings versus Huddersfield by a combined score of 7-2. I expect West Ham to take full points from a home match versus the worst team in the Premier League. Take WHU. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-12-19 | Atletico Madrid v. Juventus -137 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 22 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Juventus. I picked Juventus to win the Champions League this season, and here is what I said before the season started: "The Series A champs came very close to winning the Champions League in 2017, losing in the Final to Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid. They lost again to Madrid in last year's competition. Ronaldo is the All Time leading scorer in Champions League play, and was perhaps the most impressive player at the 2018 World Cup. There is no doubt in my mind that he still has plenty left in the tank, and bringing him in will make Juventus the favorite to win this year's competition." They sit 16 points clear at the top of the table in the Series A, and they have conceded just 16 goals in 26 matches. They need a miracle here in the second leg of this tie versus Atletico, but just ask Machester United if miracles can happen? Take JUVE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-10-19 | Portland v. Los Angeles FC OVER 2.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 17 h 50 m | Show
This is a 7* play on Over 2.5. The Portland Timbers played one of the most exciting matches in Week 1, in the coldest game in the history of the MLS. It was a 3-3 tie against the Colorado Rapids. The Timbers won't have to worry about the weather this week, playing LAFC in Los Angeles. LAFC was the highest scoring team in the Western Conference last season, with 68 goals in 34 matches. The last time these teams met, LAFC won by a score of 3-2 last July. Both these clubs have seen at least three goals combined in four of their last five matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-09-19 | Minnesota United v. San Jose OVER 3 | 3-0 | Push | 0 | 19 h 14 m | Show
This is a 7* play on MIN@SJ to go Over the total. The San Jose Earthquakes are coming off a 2-1 loss to Montreal in their season debut, and they will hope for a better result as they host Minnesota United on Saturday. Minnesota upset the White Caps in Vancouver in their season opener, winning by a score of 3-2. Only Orlando allowed more goals (74) than the 71 allowed by both Minnesota and San Jose last season. These two teams faced each other twice in 2018, and they scored a combined nine goals in those games. The Earthquakes have won back to back home games versus Minnesota both by the same score of 3-2. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-09-19 | Fulham v. Leicester -165 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 19 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Leicester City. Leicester City has but one win in their last five matches, but that's one more than Fulham has in their last five. Fulham isn't quite the worst team in the Premier League, or at least they don't rank last in points. That distinction belongs to Huddersfield. Fulham though has allowed a Premier League worst 65 goals in 29 matches, and they do have the worst away record in the Premier League. As mediocre as Leicester is, the Foxes are undefeated at home during the Brendan Rogers era. Take Leicester. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-08-19 | Udinese v. Juventus -250 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 23 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Juventus. A home game against one of the league's bottom feeders looks like easy pickings. Take JUVE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-03-19 | Atlanta United v. DC United OVER 2.75 | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -118 | 19 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Defending MLS champs Atlanta will begin their season on the road at DC United. Heading into this match, Atlanta played two matches in CONCACAF Champions League and a friendly versus LAFC. All three of those games saw at least four goals. Last year's leading scorer in MLS Josef Martinez scored twice in Atlanta's last match. Each of the last three meetings between Atlanta and DC United have ended with a score of 3-1. We should expect plenty of goals here in this season opening match. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-02-19 | Cardiff City v. Wolverhampton Wanderers -188 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 45 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Wolverhampton Wanderers. These two teams are heading in opposite directions, as Wolverhampton is sitting just outside the Top 6 in the Premier League Table, while Cardiff City is in line for relegation. Cardiff is coming off consecutive losses, conceding a total of eight goals against Watford and Everton. They are just 2-2-9 in away matches this season, and they have a -15 goal differential in those games. Wolverhampton has gone 4-0-1 in their last four home matches, and they scored 13 goals in those games. I can't see Cardiff taking anything away from this match. Take WOLVES. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-27-19 | Fulham v. Southampton OVER 2.5 | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -111 | 14 h 16 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Southampton will host Fulham on Wednesday, in a battle of the bottom feeders in the English Premier League. Neither of these two clubs have had any success defending this season, allowing 111 goals between them. Fulham ranks dead last in the Premier League conceding 61 goals in total this season. The Saints have allowed multiple goals in each of their last seven matches, and during that span they scored nine goals. Southampton has scored 14 goals in their last nine home matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-22-19 | Fulham v. West Ham United -114 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 36 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on West Ham. Fulham has allowed more goals than any other club in the Premier League this season, and they have been particularly poor in away matches. They rank dead last in the Premier League with an 0-2-11 record in 13 away matches, and they have a -24 goal differential in those games. West Ham sits right in the middle of the Premier League table, and they come into this match versus Fulham with 18 goals in 13 home matches. Fulham has lost it's last two matches at West Ham by a combined score of 6-0. This figures to be another one sided match in favor of the home team. Take WHU. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-20-19 | Juventus v. Atletico Madrid UNDER 2.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 52 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 2.5. After a pair of 0-0 draws in Champions League action yesterday, another snooze fest wouldn't surprise here on Wednesday. Two of the best defensive teams in Europe will meet in Madrid. Atletico has allowed a league best 17 goals in 24 matches in Spain, while Juventus has allowed just 15 goals in 24 matches in the Series A. Juventus has posted consecutive clean sheets in it's last two matches, while Atletico has failed to reach the total in three of it's last four matches. I don't see either of these teams scoring more than one goal. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-12-19 | Paris St Germain v. Manchester United OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -139 | 541 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Red Devils are a different team since they sacked Jose Mourino. They have really opened up with a less conservative style of play, and the results speak for themselves. Wins over Cardiff City, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town have come by a combined score of 12-3. They come off a 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, and they host PSG in the first leg of a Champions League tie this afternoon. PSG is in rough shape, with two of it's three Super Stars sidelined by injury. Edinson Cavani and Neymar have scored 30 goals between them, but Killian Mbappe has netted 18 goals in just 20 matches. All three players scored in a 4-1 win over Red Star Belgrade in their last Champions League match. I expect to see an exciting match here at Old Trafford, and I don't fancy either team to post a clean sheet. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-10-19 | Chelsea v. Manchester City OVER 2.5 | 0-6 | Win | 100 | 22 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 2.5. Liverpool moved back into the top of the table in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth Saturday. The pressure is on Manchester City to keep pace, and they will be a big favorite Sunday versus Chelsea. The Citizens have won 12 straight matches, and they have been particuarly dominant at the Etihad. They've scored an unbelievable 27 goals in their last five home matches. Chelsea on the other hand has been brutal on the road, conceding six goals in losses to Bournemout and Arsenal in their last two away matches. We should see plenty of scoring here in this match. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-09-19 | Manchester United v. Fulham OVER 2.5 | Top | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 30 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Red Devils are a different team since they sacked Jose Mourino. They have really opened up with a less conservative style of play, and the results speak for themselves. Wins over Cardiff City, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town have come by a combined score of 12-3. They will play at Fulham Saturday, and Fulham has conceded a Premier League worst 55 goals this season. They lost 4-1 at Old Trafford earlier this season, and four of the last five matches between these clubs have seen at least four goals. Fulham scored four goals in a 4-2 win over Brighton Hove Albion in their last home game, and they've scored at least once in five straight at home. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-20-19 | Manchester City v. Huddersfield Town OVER 2.5 | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 102 h 16 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. Manchester City has out-scored opponents 19-0 in their last three matches, and they face bottom feeders Huddersfield Town on Sunday. Relegation appears to be inevitable for Huddersfield, sitting dead last in the Premier League, three points back of Fulham. They lost 6-1 to Manchester City earlier this season, and another high scoring game is likely. Man City has a +42 goal differential, which is the best in the Premier League. They should be able to score at least three here against the worst team in the Premier League. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-15-18 | West Ham United v. Fulham OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -167 | 23 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on West Ham vs Fulham over 2.5. Fulham has been by far the worst team in the Premier League this season, and relegation appears inevitable. They have conceded a whopping 40 goals in 16 matches, the most of any team in the Premier League. They have scored four times in their last four matches, but they have just two losses and two draws to show for it. The Hammers come to Craven Cottage off three straight wins, scoring a total of nine goals in those games. West Ham has gone over 2.5 goals in six of their last seven matches. The Hammers have seen at least three goals in each of their last five head to head matches versus Fulham. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-11-18 | Napoli v. Liverpool -161 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 13 h 41 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Liverpool. Liverpool is now sitting at the top of he Premier League after scoring seven goals in back to back wins over Bournemouth and Burnley. Napoli comes into this Champions League tie as winners of three straight, and they scored nine goals in those games. They are undefeated in their last five matches, and they have scored 32 goals in 15 matches in the Series A this season. Liverpool has scored 34 goals in 16 Premier League matches. I don't think Napoli will be shutout at Anfield, but ultimately the Reds should have enough fire power to win a high scoring game. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-07-18 | Inter Milan v. Juventus -179 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 3 h 41 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Juventus. The Series A leaders have yet to lose this season, in fact they have only one draw. They have a +23 goal differential, and 14 wins in 15 matches. They host Inter Milan this afternoon, and Inter is still one of the top clubs in Italy. With only one win in their last five matches in all competitions, this may prove to be a tough ask for Inter to earn points in an away match against perhaps the strongest team in Europe. The signing of Christiano Ronaldo has gone well for Juventus, and with 10 goals in 14 matches, Ronaldo is the top scorer in the Series A. Mario Manzukic is also among the top scorers in the Series A with six goals in 11 matches. Take JUVE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-07-18 | Manchester United v. Juventus -1 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 264 h 60 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Juventus. Before the season started, I bet on Juventus to win the Champions League: "The Series A champs came very close to winning the Champions League in 2017, losing in the Final to Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid. They lost again to Madrid in last year's competition. Ronaldo is the All Time leading scorer in Champions League play, and was perhaps the most impressive player at the 2018 World Cup. There is no doubt in my mind that he still has plenty left in the tank, and bringing him in will make Juventus the favorite to win this year's competition." They host Manchester United in the second leg of a Champions League tie today, and they completely out-classed the Red Devils at Old Trafford in a 1-0 win in the first leg. Jose Mourino's squad has struggled in the Premier League, and needed an injury time goal just to beat minnows AFC Bourmouth last Saturday. They show no signs of being able to compete with Europe's elite. Take JUVE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
10-07-18 | Manchester City v. Liverpool OVER 3 | Top | 0-0 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 52 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Liverpool will host Manchester City on Sunday, in a meeting between the top two teams in the English Premier League. The Citizens have scored a Premier League best 21 goals in seven matches, while Liverpool has totaled 15 goals. These two teams have a history of scoring plenty of goals, and they have combined for at least three goals in five straight meetings. I expect to see another high scoring affair at Anfield, and a 2-2 draw would be my bold prediction. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-19-18 | Philadelphia Union v. Seattle Sounders FC -154 | 1-0 | Loss | -154 | 8 h 42 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Seattle Sounders. Seattle finished second in the Western Conference last year, but after a slow start to 2018 they looked like they would miss the playoffs. They have really turned things around though, and they bring a nine game winning streak into tonight's match versus Philly. The Union have had a solid season ranking 5th in the East, but they travel to Seattle to face the top defensive team in the MLS. The Sounders have only conceded 28 goals this season, significantly fewer than any other team. Home field advantage should be significant here, as the Union have a goal differential of -9 on the road while Seattle is +11 at home. Take SEA. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-16-18 | West Ham United v. Everton OVER 2.75 | Top | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 75 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Everton is off to a great start, still undefeated (1-0-3) in four matches. They have scored a total of seven goals in those games, while conceding six. They will play at Goodison Park this Sunday, and goals have been plentiful in games involving West Ham. The Hammers ranked dead last in the Premier League in goals against last season, and they have conceded a league worst 10 goals in four matches this season. I don't see either of these teams posting a clean sheet in this match, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a 2-2 draw. Everton has played to a 2-2 draw twice in it's four matches this season. Take Over. GL,
Jesse Schule |

09-01-18 | San Jose Earthquakes v. Vancouver Whitecaps -167 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 30 h 60 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Vancouver Whitecaps. These teams met just last week in San Jose, and here is what I said about that game: "The Whitecaps have been on a roll of late, going 2-1-2 in their last five overall. They are coming off a 2-2 draw versus the New York Red Bulls, and they have scored 10 goals in their last four matches. They haven't been so great on defense, ranking 20th in the MLS in goals against. The Earthquakes have been almost as bad, allowing 44 goals in 24 matches (16th). The last meeting between these two teams was a 2-2 draw at Vancouver, and the Whitecaps won the previous meeting by a score of 5-0. I am expecting another high scoring affair here tonight." The Whitecaps won that game by a score of 3-2, and they host the last place Earthquakes in Vancouver tonight. This should be an easy win for the home team. Take VAN. GL,

08-25-18 | Vancouver Whitecaps v. San Jose Earthquakes OVER 2.5 | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 34 h 58 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. The Whitecaps have been on a roll of late, going 2-1-2 in their last five overall. I am expecting another high scoring affair here tonight. Take Over. 08-20-18 | Liverpool v. Crystal Palace OVER 2.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -182 | 4 h 7 m | Show
This is a 5 star play on both teams to score. Last week I had the Over in Liverpool vs West Ham .. Liverpool picked up right where they left off last year. Mo Salah scored in the opening 20 minutes, and he could have easy scored two or three times. West Ham had a handful of chances in the first half, but it was all Liverpool after the break. The Reds went on to win 4-0. Liverpool will play at Crystal Palace on Monday, and Palace is off to a good start coming off a 2-0 win over Fulham. This Crystal Palace team has scored a whopping 20 goals in it's last seven matches. While many of those games were against lower tier teams, they did score 45 goals in 38 matches in the Premier League last year. I like their chances of scoring at least one goal here at home versus Liverpool. I like both teams to score. GL, Jesse Schule |

08-18-18 | New York Red Bulls v. Vancouver Whitecaps OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Vancouver White Caps host the New York Red Bulls Saturday, and I expect to see plenty of offense in this game. The Red Bulls are one of the top teams in the MLS, ranking 5th in scoring with 45 goals in 23 matches. Vancouver has been playing much better of late however, and the Whitecaps are a far better team at home. They have scored 23 goals in 11 home matches, and they have scored eight goals in their last three matches overall. The Red Bulls rank 1st in the MLS in goals against, but they should have their hands full here in an away match on the West Coast. Vancouver though has struggled defensively, ranking 20th in the MLS allowing 47 goals in 23 matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

08-12-18 | Manchester City v. Arsenal OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -182 | 225 h 13 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Over 2.5. Manchester City will open it's title defense at home against Arsenal on Sunday, and I expect to see plenty of scoring in this match. Man City scored a Premier League best 106 goals in 38 matches last season. Arsenal on the other hand conceded a whopping 51 goals last season, the most of any team in the top six. That's more goals conceded than Burnley or Newcastle. These two teams have a history of playing high scoring games, totaling 17 goals in the last five matches. All five of those games saw at least three goals. Manchester City has won the last three meetings between the two teams, outscoring the Gunners 9-1 in those matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

07-15-18 | Croatia v. France OVER 2 | Top | 2-4 | Win | 110 | 70 h 45 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over. I bet against Croatia in their Semifinal match versus England, and here is what I had to say before the game: "Croatia has played some excellent football at this tournament, with impressive wins over Argentina and Nigeria. I think we've already seen the best this team has to offer, and recent performances against Denmark and Russia should give their fans reason to be concerned. Both matches were decided in a penalty shootout, despite Croatia having every opportunity to win the match before it got to that point. Allowing Russia to score a tying goal in the 101st minute in their quarterfinals match was not impressive at all. The Croatians have been beat up in recent matches, and several star players come into this match versus England with fitness concerns." While Croatia managed to win a third consecutive game that was tied after 90 minutes, I have to believe that their luck will run out here against France. The French rolled through their opposition on the way to the Final, despite playing higher ranked opponents on the tougher side of the bracket. They have posted four clean sheets in their last five matches, and unlike Croatia all their wins have come within 90 minutes. I like France to win this game by a score of 3-0. Take Over. GL,

07-14-18 | England v. Belgium OVER 2.5 | 0-2 | Loss | -167 | 45 h 48 m | Show
This is an 8* play on England vs Belgium Over 2.5. These two teams met in the final game of the Group Stages, and Belgium won that game by a score of 1-0. Neither team played any of their starters though, and it was clear that England was strategically tanking in order to get on the weaker side of the bracket. While neither team is going to be all that keen on playing for third place, I think England is worse off mentally than Belgium. That is certainly supported by the comments of manager Gareth Southgate, who said prior to Saturday: "The honest thing is it's not a game any team wants to play in." Given the circumstances, I expect both teams to play a rather loose style, with Belgium's superior talent taking them to a win by a score of 2-1. Take Over. GL,

The Croatians have been beat up in recent matches, and several star players come into this match versus England with fitness concerns. England on the other hand seems to be peaking at the right time. Their 2-0 win over Sweden was likely their most impressive so far, and they easily could have added to that tally if they really wanted to. While this version of the Three Lions lacks star power in comparison to teams of the past, they make up for it with youth and speed. It might be too early to say "It's coming home", but I do expect to see England in the Final. Take England. GL,

07-10-18 | Belgium v. France OVER 2 | 0-1 | Loss | -155 | 78 h 8 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Belgium vs France over 2. Only two teams posted a clean sheets in the Round of 16, while the other 14 teams all conceded at least one goal. Only one of the eight games went under a total of two goals, while four games finished with exactly two goals. France beat Argentina by a score of 4-3. and while they did a great job limiting Lionel Messi in that game, they still conceded three goals. The star of the match was Kylian Mbappe, who looked like The Roadrunner vs Wiley Coyote, or Speedy Gonzalez.. Belgium has scored at least three goals in six of it's last eight overall, and is coming off a stunning 2-1 win over Brazil in the Quarterfinals. The Belgian defense has been a bit of a concern at times though, allowing a couple early goals against Japan and conceding a couple goals in a win over Tunisia. I don't see either of these teams posting a clean sheet in this match.
Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

Only one of the eight games went under a total of two goals, while four games finished with exactly two goals. Brazil will be a significant favorite in this match versus Belgium, despite the fact that Belgium might be the most impressive team in the tournament so far. When discussing this match with my colleagues, somebody pointed out that "Brazil likely wouldn't find itself trailing 2-0 to Japan". My response was "if Brazil did find itself trailing 2-0 to Japan, they likely wouldn't be able to come back and win it 3-2". The Brazilian defense has been stellar in the tournament so far, something that has carried over from Word Cup Qualifying and their play in friendlies prior to the tournament. Belgium though has scored at least three goals in six of it's last eight matches. One of those eight matches was the 1-0 win over England in the Group Stages, with all of their starters on the bench. I like both teams to score here, and I'll predict an upset with Belgium winning 2-1. Take Over. GL,Jesse Schule |

07-03-18 | Switzerland v. Sweden | 0-1 | Loss | -126 | 102 h 1 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Switzerland (pickem, draw no bet) The Swiss are undefeated in their last five games, and they have scored at least one goal in all five of those matches. The Swedes have scored four goals in three matches while going 1-1-1 in the group stages, but had failed to score going 0-2-1 in their final three friendlies ahead of the tournament. There's no doubt that the Swedes will be ultra conservative here, happy to play for a draw and force extra time, and eventually decide the game with a penalty shoot out. That's because they know they have inferior talent, without any skilled players to match the likes of Shaqiri and Rodriguez. "Sweden coach Janne Andersson's admission that he has a list of penalty takers sorted in his mind before the match tells its own story, and given each team's well-drilled defence, a penalty shootout is not beyond the realms of possibility. " ESPN. While this match comes with a high probability of a draw, I think it's the Swiss that are more likely of the two to end it in regulation. Take SWI. GL,

07-02-18 | Japan v. Belgium -235 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 82 h 5 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Belgium.
Japan is by far the weakest team in the Round of 16, the first ever team to reach the knockout stages on "fair play". The Samurai Blue played the final 10 minutes of their 1-0 loss to Poland at a walking pace, clearly content to kill the clock. They were met by a chorus of boos from fans in the Volgograd Arena when it became clear that they were playing to lose. These tactics might have got them to the knockout round, but won't help them against a Belgium team that is by far the most talented in the tournament. Belgium has won five of it's last seven matches by three or more goals. They should roll here, and I predict a 4-0 final score. Take BEL. GL, Jesse Schule |
