In their first game without Rondo the Celtics won 100-98 at home over the Heat, but that game should have finished under the total. The two teams combined for just 174 points before scoring 24 in overtime. In Wednesday's game against Sacramento the total finished at just 180 points, well below the set mark of 194. I see no reason why this trend won't continue against the Magic. Orlando is averaging just 92.2 ppg over their last 5 and will struggle to reach that against a well rested Celtics defense on the road. Take the UNDER!

With both teams playing on no rest, I don't expect to see a whole lot of defense from either squad. That should lead to a lot of points tonight, as both teams have offensive weapons who can put up big numbers. This season the Rockets are averaging a total of 211.7 points in games where they are the home team and that is right around where I see this total landing. Take the Over!

Everyone knows the Bulls are a defensive-minded team, but a lot of people don't realize how much better the Warriors are playing defensively under Mark Jackson. Neither one of these teams play defense. The Kings come in allowing 102.8 ppg, while the Bobcats are giving up 103.4 ppg. That right there has us going over the total posted. The key here is that with both of these teams being so bad, there's really no reason for them to get excited about this game. It's similar to the Kings/Cavaliers game the other night when the two teams combined for 242 points. Take the Over!

These two teams faced off back in November at New York and combined for just 164 points as both teams shot under 40% from the field. I expect a very similar result tonight as the Pacers should dictate the tempo at home. Indiana is allowing just 87.3 ppg at home this season and should have no trouble holding the Knicks offense in check with Carmelo Anthony sidelined because of a suspension. In my opinion the key to this game finishing below the total is that this game will be played on TNT in front of a national audience, which always seems to bring the best out of both teams on the defensive side of the ball.
