Wisconsin vs Central Florida 6:00 ET

Knights (+) over Badgers- A pair of undefeated cagers go at it in White Sulpher Springs West Virginia where No.19 Wisconsin (5-0) fresh off of their home win over No. 9 Arizona 103-88 will battle a 4-0 Central Florida squad who is on the road for the first time as are the Knights. UCF opened the season with a 64-61 win over then No. 13 Texas A&M as a 6-point dog and they are talented enough  to win here. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA!

Orlando at LA Lakers 10:30 ET

Magic (+) over Lakers- After seven straight losses to the Lakers Orlando pulled some magic and finally defeated Los Angeles a year ago at home. This is the second game in as many nights for the Magic to be playing in Los Angeles as they dropped a 104-93 decision to the Clippers last night. These two have not met in over a year and the Lakers are 7-0 at home this year and the Magic 0-7 on the road. Magic had won six in-a-row prior to last night’s loss. They get it done tonight. Take ORLANDO!

Pittsburgh at Cleveland 8:15 ET

Browns (+) over Steelers- This is one of those ‘don’t worry about mule being blind ...just load the wagon! This has got to be one of those ‘I don’t believe what happened game because without referees or video take there is no quarter the ravens were devour this team. Cleveland has eroded from within and have crumbled all together. The problem is that it is too easy to bet against the Browns. The Steelers have won and covered five straight while the Browns who where expected to contend for the division title have dropped their last two and seven of eight. Yet, there is hope because of the way the beat Baltimore three weeks ago, who in so many ways is a mirror image of Pittsburgh. Take CLEVELAND!

Baylor vs. St. John’s 7:00 ET

Red Storm (+) over Bears- A pair of ranked clubs test tech other in Nassau, The Bahama’s as No. 13 Baylor is a long field favorite over No. 22 St. John’s. The Red Storm under Rick Pitino last year did not qualify for the Big Dance and after being seeded No. 1 in the NIT they stormed out of competition and did not play in the nation’s oldest and respected tournaments. This season he is determined that strength of schedule will not be an issue. Take ST. JOHN’S!

Orlando at LA Clippers 10:30 ET

Magic over Clippers- Both of these clubs are on winning streaks as Orlando has won six straight five of which were at home and they held all six opponents under 100 points. LA has a five game winning streak at home and defeated (Money Game winner) rival Golden State 102-99 on Monday. The Clippers as usual will be without Kawhi Leonard and the Magic without Paolo Blanchero and each squad picks up the slack. Take ORLANDO!

Illinois vs Alabama 9:00 ET

Crimson Tide (-) over Illini- Alabama was knocked out of the Top-5 the last time they faced a Big Ten opponent when Purdue (Money Game winner) upset the Crimson Tide 87-78 last Friday. Illinois (3-0) has opened with three wins at home against inferior competition out-scoring their opposition by 99 points. The Tide ave won three of four meetings between these two with the last win coming in the first round of the NIT at Illinois nine years ago. Take ALABAMA!

Purdue vs Marquette 9:00 ET

Golden Eagles (-) over Boilermakers- Purdue has been on an impressive run since Zach Edey’s arrival and now that he has departed for the NBA they will try and continue their winning ways that may be difficult to match. The Boilermakers have won 39 consecutive regular season non-conference games and three of the last four meetings although this is their first road game. Matt Painter admits it is different on the road and the Golden Eagles return home after a pair of road wins. Take MARQUETTE!

Charlotte at Brooklyn 7:30 ET

Hornets (+) over Nets- Neither of these squads are expected to make a big splash this season but they both are point spread winners at this time with the Nets leading the NBA along with Cleveland with 11 ATS wins in 14 games. In head-to-head action Charlotte has won the past two meetings but Brooklyn had won the previous four meetings. The  Hornets has finally seen their investment in LaMelo Ball after two injury filled seasons has emerged as their leader in scoring and assists. Ball is averaging 29.7 PPG and the Nets Cam Thomas will try and counter him with his own scoring and defense. Nets have dropped theIr last three and five of six SU. Take CHARLOTTE!

Golden State at LA Clippers 10:30 ET

Clippers (+) over Warriors- Last season these two clubs met five times with the Warriors capturing the first win and then surprisingly enough the Clippers won the next four.Golden State is off to a great start at 10-2 going 9-3 ATS. Golden State’s Draymond Green was up to his old tricks and has been suspended for tripping Zach Edey and picking up two more technical fouls. James Harden duels with Stephen Curry...take LA CLIPPERS!

Atlanta at Sacramento 10:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Kings- Atlanta is off a loss at Portland where the were favored and now face Sacramento who took down the Hawks (+6) 123-115 in Atlanta three weeks ago. Now the Kings are just 4-point favorites at home..that does not make any sense  especially after DeAndre Fox set a franchise record 60 and 49 points on consecutive nights. For the Hawks Trae Young will counter Fox. Take ATLANTA!

Gonzaga at San Diego State 10:00 ET

Aztecs (+) over Bulldogs- Believe it or not two of the top three winning NCAA basketball teams are from the West and they meet tonight in San Diego where the Aztecs will host No. 4 Gonzaga. The Bulldogs can boast that they have the best record in college basketball since the start of the 2019  season winning 88% with a 151-21 record. San Diego State who appeared it the championship game two seasons ago are third with a 136-34 record winning 80%. I’m sure Gonzaga is looking to get back after SDS defeated them on their home floor 84-74 last season for their lone loss as hosts. But, don’t sell the Aztecs short as the coaching between Few and Dutcher has two of the best battling wits. Take SAN DIEGO STATE!

Houston at Dallas 8:15 ET

Cowboys (+) over Texans- Dallas haas lost four consecutive games and none of them were close. The Cowboys have defeated Houston four of the last six meetings and should be ready to play for the pride of the state of Texas! The Texans quarterback CJ Stroud has thrown more interceptions this year then he did in his entire rookie season. Cowboys lasso Texans. Take DALLAS!

Indiana at Toronto 7:00 ET

Raptors (+) over Pacers- Poor Toronto has dropped their last seven games and are just 1-9 SU in their last 10 games as they return home after an overtime loss to the Celtics. The Raptors have played six of their last seven games on the road while Indiana is just 2-5 SU on the road. Despite the loss AJ Barrett put up a triple-double and the Pacers are struggling with chemistry and injuries. Take TORONTO!

Brooklyn at New York 7:00 ET

Knicks (-) over Nets- This has been a one way series of late with the Knicks having won the past seven meetings SU although Brooklyn got the money the last two meetings. The Nets are along with Cleveland the point spread leaders of the NBA at 10-3 ATS. New York who is expected to make a run at the conference finals but their trade for Karl-Anthony Townes alter the team chemistry and they are trying to establish a new identity. This is the second of back-to-back encounters at Madison Square Garden with the Knicks winning on Friday 124-122 after blowing an 18-point fourth quarter lead. This time they give a full game effort. Take NEW YORK!

Denver at Memphis 6:00 ET

Grizzlies over Nuggets- Denver has won the past five meetings and seven of eight while going 6-2 ATS including a 126-111 victory in Memphis on Thursday. Once again the Grizzlies with be without Ja Morant and by now they are used to being without the electrifying All-star but, have had three of their other injured players returned this week. Denver’s Nikola Jokic missed Friday’s game for personal reasons and he is questionable for tonight. Take MEMPHIS!

Miami at Indiana 5:00 ET

Heat (+) over Pacers- Indiana has their last two games the second of which was to the Heat on Friday (Power Play winner) 124-111. Miami won that meeting without their main cog in Jimmy Butler who has missed the last three games due to a sprained ankle and it appears he will give a go tonight. The Heat are 6-4 SU and ATS in the past 10 meetings and get the money again. Take MIAMI!

Green Bay at Chicago 1:00 ET

Bears (+) over Packers- Man, the Bears can be just terrible at time and the problem is that it is more often than not. Poor Caleb Williams really hasn’t had a chance with the consistent pressure he must endure. With four wins you would think that Chicago had to win with defense but the are in the middle of the pack defensively. Green Bay’s quarterback Jordan Love has been great at time but he has thrown at least one interception in six straight games. The Bears have lost 10 straight to the Packers and failed the cover even once going 0-10 ATS. Because of this I have struggled with this selection but it was he first of all that I was drawn toward. Take Da’ BEARS!   

Cleveland at New Orleans 1:00 ET

Browns (+) over Saints- The dregs of the league have to meet some time and now it’s time for the dysfunctional Browns (2-7) to come to New Orleans and are favored against a 3-7 club that just broke a seven game losing streak as Derek Carr returned under center. Cleveland is off a home loss to the Chargers and have dropped six of the past seven games. Former Saints QB Jameis Winston will be extracting a bit of revenge against his former mates. Take CLEVELAND!  

Las Vegas at Miami 1:050ET

Raiders (+) over Dolphins- I have felt for three weeks now that the Raiders are just not a team that you should be betting on. From coaching (especially coaching), to special teams , to quarterback play and defense. Gardner Minshew regains the start for Las Vegas after having been benched twice this season. The third time is a charm for the turnover prone (12 ints) Minshew who at times during his career has actually looked capable, but not so much with the coaching and player talent level here with the Raiders. Still, a surprise is about to happen as the Raiders who lost at Miami 20-13 last season as a 14-point dog bark even louder this time around. Take LAS VEGAS!

Minnesota at Tennessee 1:00 ET

Titans (+) over Vikings- Right now these two clubs have mirror image records as the Vikings enter Nashville 7-2 and Tennessee is 2-7. Even worse for the Titan backers is that they are 1-8 ATS while Minnesota is 6-3. Here’s the rub and Sam Darnold will pay the price because he will be up against the NFL’s No. 2 ranked defense allowing only 273.6 yards per game and they are No. 1 in fewest passing yards allowed with just 156.7 per game. Darnold has six interceptions in the past two games and the Vikings have fail to score a touchdown in either game. Take TENNESSEE!    

Kansas at BYU 10:30 ET

Jayhawks (+) over Cougars- I hope that I am not chasing my tail with this one but it can not be helped as their are so many factors that give me Kansas. Last week I was freaked out by the Jayhawks who was 2-6 was just a +2.5 underdog to a 7-1 Iowas State that I deemed it m “don’t Make Sense’ Game of the Year. Well, see more of he same here with the undefeated Cougars (9-0) at home favored by the same 2.5 points. I feel the same way about this game as I did last week with one trepidation...all the sharp people in Las Vegas are all on the Jayhawks and this game may have attracted too much attention. Regardless...take KANSAS!

San Antonio at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (-) over Spurs- A pair of Texas former NBA champions square off in Dallas and both clubs are under .500. As far as this rivalry is concerned it hasn’t been competitive as the Mavericks have won the last five meetings and 9-of-10 straight-up but just 3-6-1 ATS. In those meetings the total has gone over eight times. The Mavericks have dropped four straight the last three of which were on the road, they return home and take it out on the young Spurs. Take DALLAS!

Tennessee at Georgia 7:30 ET

Bulldogs (-) over Volunteers- Talk about having your backs to the wall Georgia can not afford another loss and must run the table to have a realistic shot of qualifying for the Final-12. The feel fortunate to be playing a club that they have beaten 10 straight times and the line shows respect from the oddsmen. Bulldogs scored just 10 points against Megabucks winner Mississippi last week their lowest point total since week one 2021. Vol’s defense has yet to allow 20 points but have not played the same level of competition. Take GEORGIA!

Oregon at Wisconsin 7:30 ET

Badgers (+) over Ducks- No. 1 Oregon let by quarterback Dillon Gabriel invade Camp Randell for the first time as Big Ten opponents. Gabriel a sixth year transfer from Oklahoma via Central Florida set the NCAA record for total touchdowns with 147 passing TDs and 33 rushing totaling 180. Iowa has had two week to dwell on one of their worst losses in decades to Iowa. After Tyler Van Dyke went down with an injury redshirt freshman Braedyn Locke has be very pedestrian, but this is a team game. Take WISCONSIN  

LSU at Florida 3:30 ET

Gators (+) over Tigers- LSU opened the season a beaten favorite 27-20 to USC they then proceeded to win six straight before dropping their last two games to Texas A&M and  Alabama. At 7-3 the Tigers can be respected but disappointment surrounds the program and doubts about Brian Kelly are circulating in the alumni and media. But, job speculation is more of concern for Florida’s Billy Napier who at 4-5 is on the hot seat. Tigers have won and covered the past five meetings  He can get off that seat at least for awhile with a win here. Take FLORIDA!  

Michigan State at Illinois 2:30 ET

Spartans (+) over Illini- Michigan State is off a much need bye after losing their 2nd straight game and five of six while Illinois won six of seven before dropping their last two at home to Minnesota and two weeks ago at Oregon. This is major step down for the Spartans who are off  much need by week after consecutive losses to much stiffer competition losing to Ohio State, Oregon and Indiana. MSU has won f-of-6 meetings including the last one at Illinois. Take MICHIGAN STATE!  

Texas at Arkansas 12:00 ET

Razorbacks (+) over Longhorns- No. 3 Texas has one loss this season and eight wins but all their wins came against unranked teams and their loss came against Georgia the only ranked team they have played. Arkansas had a week off after getting routed by Mississippi and look to atone for their miserable showing. Razorbacks have a better offense but must keep possession of the ball and they will be ready. Take ARKANSAS!

ULCA at Washington 9:00

Huskies (-) over Bruins- Last week as the Nittany Lions had their annual White-Out game where the student body is encouraged to be clad all in white. To counter State’s move to white Washington returns home and will go to the dark side and be uniformed in black and they are requesting all in attendance wear black. Considering the state voted for Kamala Harris most would be wearing black anyway.So far they have played in a blackout at Rutgers, a stripe-out at Iowa and a red-out at Indiana and lost all four colorful games. This one wearing the colors of the grim reaper. Take WASHINGTON!

Arizona at Wisconsin 9:00 ET

Badgers (+) over Wildcats- This is the second meeting of a home and home series that started last season in Arizona where the Wildcats destroyed the Badgers 98-73 last December. These two clubs are polar opposites as the Wildcats are one of the nation’s highest scoring teams averaging 97.5 points per game. Wisconsin might not score 97 PPG but  they will prevent you form scoring as they allow only 61 PPG. Take WISCONSIN!

Washington State at Iowa 8:30 ET

Hawkeyes (-) over Cougars- Iowa is opening the season with their fourth straight home game as they host Washington State who is also 3-0. First year coach David Riley has changed the Cougars style picking up the tempo as they now average 93.7 points per game. State has seven player averaging double figures and their defense is also vastly improved holding Idaho State 36% shooting while blocking 10 shots. Take WASHINGTON STATE!  

LA Clippers at Houston 8:00 ET

Clippers (+) over Rockets- Houston has won the past two meeting including a 111-103 win as hosts two days ago. The Rockets have covered the past four meetings and the Clippers had won eight straight meetings prior the last two encounters. Los Angeles relies on the 3-ball and last time out they made five in the first quarter and only 5-of-19 shooting the remainder of the game. They catch the Clippers tonight. Take LA CLIPPERS!

Miami at Indiana 7:00 ET
Heat (+) over Pacers- Indiana is under .500 after 11 games because for the most part they have been inconsistent on offense especially their shooting star Tyrese Haliburton. The Pacers have had to play one of the more difficult early season schedules. These two have split their last 10 meetings with Indy winning the last two encounters. Miami blew a game their last time out against Detroit as Spoelstra made a major blunder calling a timeout when he had none with 1.1 seconds remaining. Rake MIAMI!  

Alabama at Purdue 7:00 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Crimson Tide- Number 2 Alabama is averaging 90 points in their first three games all at home. Purdue is also 3-0 and are coming off of win against Yale and along with 38 straight regular non-conference home wins and a 20 game home winning streak. Boilermakers are shooting 44% form 3-point range.Take PURDUE

LSU at Kansas State 9:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Wildcats- A pair of 2-0 clubs clash for just the third time in the schools history with Kansas State winning both meetings the past two seasons. Last year the Wildcats won in Baton Rouge as Cam Carter a Louisiana native scored in double figures for the winners and now he is playing for the Tigers. The Wildcats have crushed the two opponents that they have played but tonight they receive some real competition. Take LSU!

Washington at Philadelphia 8:15 ET

Eagles (-) over Forskins- The two top contenders in the NFC East square off in Philadelphia where the serging Eagles host the upstart Commarders. The boys from Brotherly Love have won five straight and will be in a battle for the top spot in the division. The Eagles defense which is ranked No. 2 in fewest yards allowed per game with 274 while Washington is ranked No. 28 in rushing defense allowing 148 YPG and are No. 29 in allowing 5.0 YPR and with a healthy Sequon Barkley the Eagles will soar. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Phoenix at Sacramento 10:00 ET

Kings (-) over Suns- The Kings  took down Phoenix on Sunday as a 1-pint road favorite and now the prices has risen because Suns superstar Kevin Durant will be out for a least a week. Sacramento will also be playing a man short as Malik Monk (the supersub) is also sidelined. It seems a bit strange that the Suns would be this big a favorite against the Suns as the are just 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings. Take SACRAMENTO!

Fresno State at Cal-Santa Barbara 10 ET

Gauchos (-) over Bulldogs- I have witnessed the Mountain West Conference change a number of times since moving to Las Vegas adding teams and having teams defect to more profitable venues. But, one thing that I have not seen in 30 plus years following the MWC I have never seen Santa Barbara a double-digit favorite over anyone much less Fresno State who has been one of the conferences better programs. Line tells me the Gauchos can play of the Bulldogs can’t. Take SANTA BARBARA!

LA Clippers at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (-) over Clippers- Los Angeles has been scoring at a high rate and that is a bit surprising as Kawhi Leonard and Paul Gorge are missing and they were the clubs two top scorers last season. The Clippers had a 4-game winning streak stopped at Oklahoma City on Sunday and after nine straight wins over the Rockets posted a road win over the Clippers in LA closing the 2023-24 season. Take HOUSTON!

Indiana at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Pacers- Indiana is coming off of their best shooting game of the season as the crushed the Knicks 132-121 with Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin who had career and season highs in points scored. This is already the third meeting of the season between the two both holding serve on their home court but the Pacers have covered both contests. The Magic are 5-0 SU at home and have won their last three games without Paolo Banchero and look to do it again. Take ORLANDO!

Phoenix at Utah 10:00 ET

Jazz (+) over Suns- Utah was off to a 0-6 start and have managed to win two-of-three and are off of a 111-110 win over San Antonio on Saturday just their second win and the Suns are off just their second loss 114-113 to Dallas Friday. Phoenix has dominated the series winning the past six meetings and 8-of-10. But, the Suns will be without Kevin Durant and he was having one of his best starts to the season. Take UTAH!

Kentucky vs Duke 9:00 ET

Wildcats (+) over Blue Devils- No. 7 Duke and No. 23 Kentucky square off in the Champions Classic in Atlanta and these two met in this tournament in 2021 with the Blue Devils winning 79-71 a game played in New York. Mike Krzyzewski and John Calipari were the head coaches at that time but both have moved on as Coach K retired and Calipari left for Arkansas. Wildcats are 12-11 all-time in 23 meeting bit have dropped the last three. Not this time...take KENTUCKY!

New York at Philadelphia 7:30 ET

76ers (+) over Knicks- Both the Knicks and 76ers are off to slow starts and to tell the tru it should have been expected as Philadelphia is without Embiid and New York has change their chemistry and are still adjusting. But, Embiid is expect to suit up for tonight’s battle and his impact can not be understated. Some of Philly’s walking wounded are returning to action tonight. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Miami at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Heat- Miami has won seven straight in the series between these two and 9-of-10 but believe it or not they are only 2-7-1 ATS in those last 10 meetings. After three straight losses the Heat came up with a 95-94 win at Minnesota on Sunday while Detroit was falling at home 101-99 to Houston on the same day. This is the opening game of the NBA’s silly in season NBA Cup which was won by the Lakers last season. The Heat will most likely be without Jimmy Butler and that hurts. Take DETROIT!

Kansas vs Michigan State 6:30 ET

Spartans (+) over Jayhawks- A pair of heavy hitter meet in the Champions Classic in Atlanta where No. 1 Kansas with take on unranked Michigan State. The Jayhawks (2-0) nearly blew a 20-point lead against No. 9 North Carolina but scored the games final five points for a 92-89 win. The Spartans are 2-0 but this will be their first real competition winning by 34 and 36 points over Monmouth and Niagara. These two squads have split the last eight meetings with the Jayhawks winning the last three. Take MICHIGAN STATE!

Villanova at St. Joseph’s 5:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Wildcats- This rivalry game of the Big-5 from Philadelphia has lost some of it’s luster of late with Villanova’s dominance winning 11 straight before St. Joe’s 78-65 upset win as a 12-point underdog last November. Jay Wright is gone and the Wildcats have failed to make the NCAA Tournament in both season’s since he left the program. Known as the ‘Holy War’ this rivalry goes back 103 years. Take ST. JOSEPH’S!

Miami at LA Rams 8:15 ET

Dolphins (+) over Rams- Miami enter this fray losers of their last three and six of their last seven games. The Dolphins of course were without QB Tua most of the time but they still lost in both games since he’s been back by 3-points to Buffalo and 1-point to Arizona. The South Beach squad is just 2-8 ETS in their last 10 games overall. LA is on a three game win streak averaging 26 points a game but are 0-4 SU in the last four meetings going back to 2008. Look for the Dolphins to surprise the Rams. Take MIAMI!

Sacramento at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Spurs (+) over Kings- The growth and improvement of Victor Wembanyama can be witnessed on a daily basis as his production is seen on so many levels. From his scoring, to assists, to rebounds. to steals and blocked shots and before it is over he will have a quint-double. Take SAN ANTONIO!

Memphis at Portland 9:00 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Grizzlies- Memphis has gone from having one of the more promising NBA futures to a club that pulls up lame way too often. Led by the number one guy missing games the spectacular Ja Morant is out once again and one has to start to wonder is he is gong the route of Deshaun Watson. The Grizzlies have won 4-of-5 by 23, 17, 17 and 24 points and come up a short favorite on the road her against Blazers who went 3-1 against Memphis last season. Take PORTLAND!

Detroit at Houston 8:20 ET

Texans (+) over Lions- Okay, here’s the closer on this one. Houston who leads the AFC South by two games had a player’s only meeting to straighten out their issues. This team is 6-3 and not pleased with he way they are playing and realize what we have seen so far will not measure up against the Lions. Detroit has established they are the best team in the NFL. Oh, okay the NFL because although not being very impressive the Chiefs are undefeated. Take HOUSTON!

Dallas at Denver 8:00 ET

Nuggets (-) over Mavericks- Dallas has been alternation wins and losses since the season opened while Denver who dropped their opening two games at home to the Clippers and Thunder. But, the Nuggets have rebounded with six wins in seven games including wins in their last four and 3-of-4 meetings. The season is only two weeks old and Irving and Doncic have already taking breaks because of fatigue. Take DENVER!

Philadelphia at Dallas 4:25 ET

Cowboys (+) over Eagles- These two were expected to be fighting for the NFC East division title and it will take a huge turn-around from the Cowboys for this to have a chance and don’t forget about the upstart Commies. Prescott will not play for Dallas and at this point does that really matter...I think not Copper Rush is 5-1 as a starter for the Cowboys. Philly’s Sequon Barkley is having another Pro bowl season and the ‘Boys must adjust. Take DALLAS!

Boston at Milwaukee 3:30 ET

Bucks (+) over Celtics- These two squads met the first week of the season when the Celtics were steamrolling their opposition and Milwaukee was in a funk. This funk may not be over but the Bucks despite injuries have shown some life and should be ready for their second meeting. Milwaukee ended a six game losing streak with a 123-100 win over Utah on Thursday but fell by 22 points to the Knicks on Friday. Bucks are 1-5 on the road and are looking forward to getting a shot Boston at home. Take MILWAUKEE!

Buffalo at Indianapolis 1:00 ET

Colts (+) over Bills- Buffalo has done the unexpected for the most part leading the AFC East by a full four games. The Jets and Dolphins pose no threat to the Bills reign. Indianapolis has been one of the better team to back as t hey are 7-2 ATS although at 4-5 they need a win. Richardson is out and Flacco is back and that gives the Colts a chance. They have better balance for Taylor’s ground efforts. Indy returns home where they are 3-1 SU after a pair of road losses. Take INDIANAPOLIS!

Saints (+) over Falcons- The Dennis Allen Era is over and it was never a pleasant journey as the Saints have been nothing more than one disappointment after another. To start the season the way they did up it was false hope defeating two of the worst defenses in the NFL and it has all caught up with them. Derek Carr’s injury didn’t help but he is back healthy and they are a different team when he is upright. Falcons get grounded here. Take NEW ORLEANS!

San Francisco at Tampa Bay 4:25 ET

Buccaneers (+) over 49ers- This has become a tougher call as the week progressed because some many opinions that I respect like the Niners here. But, I weighed the factors and still feel the Buccaneers are the side here. So, McCaffery is getting into action for the first time this season and I expect there to be an over reaction to his value for this encounter. Baker Mayfield leads the NFL in TD passes with 23 while the Buc’s have dropped three in-a-row they have averaged 27-points. Take TAMPA BAY!

Michigan vs Wake Forest 1:00 ET

Demon Deacons (+) over Wolverines- Michigan is looking to recover from one of their worst basketball season in over half a century and they got off to a good start with a win over Cleveland State 101-53 in Monday night’s opener. The Demon Deacons are 2-0 with a pair of home victories but are 0-2 ATS. The Wolves haven’t come far enough after losing their final nine games of the 2023-24 season. ACC rules in basketball...take WAKE FOREST!

BYU at Utah 10:30 ET

Utes (+) over Cougars- ‘The Holy War’ has a whole different look this season then what was expected during the off season. This summer when the early game of the year point spread came out Utah was made a 21-point favorite and when the line opened this week it was BYU minus -4. That is a 25-point difference and this is the biggest game of the year for both squads but it means the season for the disappointing Utes. As they say way too often ‘throw out the records’ when there two meet that’s what we do here. Hold your nose and take UTAH!

Auburn at Houston 7:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Cougars- These two met in the NCAA tournament’s second round last March with Houston (-5.5) routing the Tigers 81-64 in the second half outscoring them 50-23 after trail 41-31 at the half. Both teams will have most of their players from that encounter returning. Both clubs are off opening blowout wins over weak sisters but the Tigers have more incentive and points. Take AUBURN!

Georgia at Mississippi 3:30 ET

Rebels (+) over Bulldogs- They say the Rose Bowl game is the Grand-daddy of them all and that is how I feel about this SEC matchup. Georgia comes into Oxford a small favorite with one loss (7-1)to Alabama while the home Rebels have been defeated twice. Once at LSU and at home to Kentucky. Mississippi was expected to have a shot at the SEC crown with 19 returning starters and this game becomes a ‘must’ if they are to be considered for the final 12. Rebels are #2 overall in offensive yards gained and are No. 1 in passing yards at 376 per game. Take MISSISSIPPI!

Michigan at Indiana 3:00 ET

Wolverines (+) over Hoosiers- When Curt Cignetti took over the head coaching job at Indiana he said that he would turn this hapless program into a winner. Little did anyone imagine that they would be the undefeated Big Ten leader in November, ranked #8 and will get a shot at the National Championship. But, Saturday their stars are to be dimmed against the conference’s leading defense. The Wolves come in off a loss to Oregon their third in their last four games but the dominate the series having won 27 of the last 28 meetings. Take MICHIGAN!

Clemson at Virginia Tech 3:30 ET

Hokies (+) over Tigers- Clemson opened the season by getting annihilated by Georgia and then reeled off six straight wins until Louisville knocked them off 33-21 last week. Virginia Tech never had the same aspirations but usually end up bowl bound. Clemson has won the past six meetings with the Hokies last win coming in 2007. Both defenses are just about equal with the Tigers having the better offense but with a full house at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, VA. is Hokies will shine. Take VIRGINIA TECH!

Iowa State at Kansas 3:30 ET

Jayhawks (+) over Cyclones- This has to be the ‘Don’t Make Sense’ play of the day and I rate it as high as any Megabucks. Iowa State was undefeated enter last week and the media had them head to the football tournament championship but the were derailed by Texas Tech last week. Now, at 7-1 they come to Arrowhead Stadium and are a meager favorite against a 2-6 team that has lost six of seven. Kansas has now lost 16 straight to the Wildcats. This line is flawed so much so that I believe that the Jayhawks win outright...but, take the points with KANSAS

Miami at Denver 9:00 ET

Heat (+) over Nuggets- Oh how the mighty have fallen...the Denver Nuggets have been down-graded by the bookmakers as the lines they post involving the Nuggets is vastly different then what we have seen in recent season. Denver has won three straight at home while Miami has dropped their last two and 3-of-4 and yet the home team here is just a 3-ball long goal favorite.  When these two last meeting in the Mile High City Denver was minus -8.5 and minus-9. Add that Denver has won the past five meetings and 9-of-10 and the price has been lowered by a half dozen points. Beware...take MIAMI!

Iowa at UCLA 9:00 ET

Bruins (+) over Hawkeyes- Both of these clubs have posted back-to-back victories as Iowa won twice as favorites and covered wile UCLA had a pair of upset wins as underdogs outright. UCLA returns home for the first time in a month and brings the nation’s worst rushing offense in the nation with just 73.9 yards on the ground. That could spell trouble as the Hawkeyes have one of the better rushing defenses in the country. The Bruins will have to throw the ball o win and that they will do. Under-talented squad the Bruins have plenty of fight. Take UCLA!

Milwaukee at New York 7:00 ET

Knicks (-) over Bucks- A pair of struggling playoff teams off to a slow start meet in New York where the 3-4 Knicks will host floundering Milwukee who is 2-6. The Knicks ended an eight game losing streak to the Bucks including their first three meetings last season before NYK posted won in the last two meetings. In their victory at Madison Square Garden they were 3-point underdogs and now they are huge favorites. The Bucks just ended a six-game losing streak by blowing out weak sister Utah 123-100. New York returns home after falling at Atlanta and allows only 101 points in their wins and 118 in their losses. After a four game road trip Coach will be stressing defense...take the NEW YORK KNICKS!

Cincinnati at Baltimore 8:15

Ravens (-) over Bengals- This will be the second meeting of the season between these two AFC division rivals with the Ravens eking out an overtime victory 41-38. The Bengals had Baltimore down by 10 points late in the final period until a series of physical and mental errors did them in and that has been the story of their year. Joe Burrow is as good as it gets playing quarterback but this team just has some many holes that need to be addressed and the Ravens are that much better as they are No. 1 in offensive yards per rush and average 7.7  yards per play. Take BALTIMORE!

Oklahoma City at Denver 10:00 ET

Nuggets (+) over Thunder- Oklahoma City was the No. 1 seed in the West lst sesson and they are out to show the rest of the NBA that they are the team to beat and right now no one has done that as the enter 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS. After a slow 1-4 start Denver has won four-of-five including the last two at home against Utah and Toronto. The Nuggets won the first meeting last season at OKC but the Thunder came on and won the next four including a 102-87 win at Denver on opening night Oct. 24, 2024 this season. Nuggets even the season series tonight. Take DENVER!

Cleveland at New Orleans 8:00 ET

Pelicans (+) over Cavaliers- Cleveland has been leading the way with an 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS record and along with OKC are the only remaining undefeated clubs. New Orleans has to make a gut check as 4-of-5 starters din not suit up including Zion Williamson. The Pelicans are 1-6 ATS since their opening win over Chicago and this will be their four straight game at the Smoothie King Center. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Orlando at Indiana 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Pacers- Orlando opened the season on the road with a win at Miami and haven’t won away from home yet losing five straight and enter this fray with four straight losses with the last win 10 days against at home 119-115 over the Pacers a non-cover victory. Paolo Banchero had 50 points that night and now is sidelined for a month and the Magic are 0-3 SU and 0-3 ATS without him but make adjustments tonight. These two have split their last 10 meetings withe the Magic going 3-1 ATS. Take ORLANDO!

San Antonio at LA Clippers 10:35 ET

Spurs (+) over Clippers- Since starting the year winning just one of their first four games San Antonio has won their last two to even their record at 3-3 and they have covered the number in three straight. LA is on a 3-games ATS skid after covered their first three (winning twice). The Clippers have won seven straight meetings and swept the three game series last year with all three games being play with in 22 days and they were done playing each other on Nov. 22. What that means is that they were lucky enough to play the Spurs before Wembanyama even got his feet wet. The Clippers will mostly likely need shock therapy after they see his development. Take SAN ANTONIO!

Portland at New Orleans 9:30 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Pelicans- Both of these clubs are struggling at the season’s onset and they are meeting for the third time already this year. They opened the season in the Northwest and split two games and now it is the banged-up Pelicans that are hosts. The Blazers have dropped their last two but New Orleans is without Zion Willamson and the line reflects his absence. Take PORTLAND!

New York at Houston 8:45 ET

Rockets (+) over Knicks- New York coach Tom Thibodeau is known for defense first and then score the ball second which has been very successful in his career. With Karl-Anthony Towns joining his already experience crew should aid the Knicks cause. But, now it is Houston that is playing better defense and they are playing it better than New York ranked No. 4 while the Knicks are No. 13. The Rockets ended an eight game series losing streak last time these two met in February. Take HOUSTON!

Indianapolis at Minnesota 8:20 ET

Colts (+) over Vikings- Indianapolis at 4-4 SU are the point spread leaders going 7-1 ATS sort of being a bridesmaid and not the bride but with a bonus. Minnesota started fast inning their first five and covering each contest but now it seems that they have hit a wall dropping their last two game to the Rams and Lions. Now, they are playing the non-threatening Colts who are starting a 39-year old, 17 year veteran in Joe Flacco. That will be a huge upgrade from Anthony Richardson who is just not ready Take INDIANAPOLIS!

Atlanta at New Orleans 7:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Pelicans- On a day when basketball is an after-thought because the NFL takes the front row on Sundays. Atlanta is not expected to win any championship’s this year but we do expect them to cover at least one point spread this season. Considering that they are 0-6 ATS it is time for them to get off the schnide. The Hawks had won five straight in series but Pelicans have taken 3-of-last-5 meetings. But, New Orleans doesn’t have the offensive firepower needed to ground the Hawks as they rank near the bottom in most shooting stats. Take ATLANTA!

LA Rams at Seattle 4:25 ET

Seahawks (+) over Rams-Seattle opened the season with three straight wins over Denver, New England and Miami three of the weaker AFC clubs. Last week they were out classed by the Bills and now must ready themselves for a division meeting with the Rams who have defeated the Seahawks eight of the past 10 reunions. Through it all they are tied at 4-4 with the Niners and Cardinals with LA a half-game behind. The Rams won two games in five days to get in it after starting 1-4. LA 0-3 on the road and the beat goes on...take SEATTLE!   

Detroit at Green Bay 4:25 ET

Packers (+) over Lions- The game of the day according to those in the know and most of us all probably will have some interest in this old NFC rivalry. Remembering battles of the ‘Black and Blue’ division when the Lions and packers played to a 6-3 and 9-3 finals along with the Bears and Vikings were considered the hardest hitting division in the NFL. Today’s game will be one of finesse of a pair of passing offense of which the Lions appear the be roaring. But, do not be deceived. last week in Detroit’s 52-14 win over the Titans they totals just 61 passing yards and only 225 total yards on offense. Stats never lie. Take GREEN BAY!

Detroit at Brooklyn 3:30 ET

Pistons (+) over Nets- Brooklyn who won only 32 of 82 games last season have won three straight and come u a rare favorite while hosting the lowly Pistons. Detroit dropped their first four games posted a win over the 76ers and then on Friday was blown away by New York 128-98 there worse loss of the year. The Nets have won 8-of-10 meetings but the pistons got the money in seven of those 10. Take DETROIT!

Miami at Buffalo 1:00 ET

Dolphins (+) over Bills- Oh this one in getting silly, the lifetime series between these two. There was a time believe it or not while Miami had won 18 straight in this rivalry and 22 of 23 meetings but of course Don Shula was at the Dolphins helm. Well, now it is Buffalo that has won nine-of 10 straight meetings and the streak goes back further than that. But, right now the Bills are on a run and the Dolphins are running scared. Scared that their hopes of Tua leading them to the promise land has been side tracked by his injury. Well, he’s baaaack!

Washington at New York Giants 1:00 ET

Giants (+) over Commandos- The first time these two met in Week 2 the Giants set and NFL record by scoring three touchdowns and did not allow any touchdowns and lost the game. New York has played well enough to have won more than two games but simple breakdown at key moments have derailed their season. Jayden Daniels was in his second career game and still make Giants QB Jones look like an amateur. Big Blue is more like powder puff blue when playing at home and are 0-4 both SU and ATS. The Giants seem to rise against the former Redskins and are 6-3-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in last 10 meetings. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

Oklahoma City at LA Clippers 10:00 ET

Clippers (+) over Thunder- Oklahoma City is off to a quick start at 5-0 and are just one point away from being perfect against the number as well going 4-1 ATS. LA got off quick a well be in a different manor as they won the money in their first three games but they have yet to win a game as hosts going 0-3 SU and this will be their third straight home game and they finally give the fans at the ‘Dome’ something to cheer about. Take the CLIPPERS!

Minnesota at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Spurs (+) over Timberwolves- He may be the tallest man in the NBA but Victor Wambanyama has one of the best all-round games in the league. last time out against Utah he had 25 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, five blocks and five steals. Minnesota is going through a transition as their big man Towns is gone and a pair of sharp shooters are now in place. The trouble is the T’wolves now have too many players that need to have the ball to be effective as Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle have to share the ball. Take SAN ANTONIO!

Golden State at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (-) over Warriors- I believe that Houston has turned the corner and can be very dangerous and can beat anybody anytime. The odds-makers must feel the same way as they now are a team that has caught their attention and is being installed as stronger and stronger favorites. Golden State has won 10 straight in the series and have gone 7-3 ATS. But there is one constant factor in all of the match ups and this is the Warriors were favored in every game, seven by double-digits and they were -7, -7 and -7 in the other three. Tonight, Houston opened minus-6...-6! I understand that there is no curry buy Golden State should be used to that, cuz they are 2-0 since he went down. Maybe I am being sucked in but this number is such an anomaly compared to all other meetings. Take HOUSTON!

Pittsburgh at S.M.U. 8:00 ET

Mustangs (-) over Panthers- There is something really, really wrong here! Undefeated Pittsburgh (7-0) has surprised a lot of people (me included) that didn’t expect to see the Panthers rising their level of play. SMU (7-1) is as good as expected but were the first team to experience a defeat by the under-rated BYU Cougars18-16 the first weekend of September. Since that loss the Mustangs have run off five straight wins including a lackluster win over Duke last week. Believe me They will be ready for the Panthers this week. The is Pitts first ever trip to SMU an they won’t like the result. Take SMU!

Texas A&M at South Carolina 7:30 ET

Gamecocks (+) over Aggies- Last week I took a pass instead of using the Aggies (-3) against LSU and paid the price by replacing it with a game that fell short. This week no passing in the Texas A&M game but this time we will fade the Aggies. Ranked No. 10 A&M has won seven straight since falling to Notre Dame and are at the top of the SEC. I don’t believe that they will remain there. Starting with this game in Columbia SC. The Gamecocks have had two weeks to ready themselves after a 35-9 romp over Oklahoma in Norman. USC is 1-9 lifetime in this series with their lone win coming in Columbia two years ago. History repeats itself here. Take SOUTH CAROLINA!

Wisconsin at Iowa 7:30 ET

Badgers (+) over Hawkeyes- Iowa will be without their starting quarterback as Cade McNamara who left last week’s win over Northwestern early. Brendan Sullivan replaced him and led the Hawkeyes to 37 straight second half points. Red-shirt freshman Braedyn Locke will lead the Badgers who hold a small series edge but have dropped the past two meetings. Tings turn here. Take WISCONSIN!

Oregon at Michigan 3:30 ET

Wolverines (+) over Ducks- Okay, here we go! After passing on using a 23-point favorite and easy winner with Oregon last week who destroyed Illinois I am coming against the No. 1 team in the nation. Michigan has its short-comings and believe me they are very short. The Wolverines can not more the ball through the air and are one dimensional with the ground game their staple. Ducks QB Dillon Gabriel has three wins this season over Top-25 ranked teams while the Wolves have a terrible record against No. 1 ranked teams going 3-16-1 SU with all three wins coming at home. Take MICHIGAN!  

Spartans (+) over Hoosiers- I expected for there to be improvement with Indiana this season as new head coach Curt Cignetti is a proven winner and is 8-0 SU with a 7-1 ATS record and that is more than anyone thought would be. Bringing a slew of players over from James Madison the Hoosiers are out to prove they are winners at any level. The Spartans have been reeling on and off the field as coaching and player issues have derailed the program in the most recent seasons. Coming off a loss to arch rival Michigan the Spartans need two wins to become bowl eligible for the first time in four seasons and are looking for an outright upset win over the Hoosiers. Take MICHIGAN STATE!

Orlando at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Cavaliers- These two clubs have split the last 10 meetings winning five games each while alternated wins and losses the last six meetings at 5-0 Cleveland is off to their best start in eight years. Coach Kenny Anderson has the Cavaliers leading the NBA in scoring at 123.4 points per game and make 41.1% of their 3-pont attempts also leading the NBA. But, the Magic have enough talent to keep this one close if not pull off the outright upset win. Take ORLANDO!

Houston at Dallas 8:30 ET

Rockets (+) over Mavericks- Having used the Mavericks as my Megabucks winner against Minnesota on Tuesday I have no problem coming against them here in Dallas. This will be their third game i four night in this early part of the season . Houston was also a winner for us as a Power Play over San Antonio Monday night as a small road favorite. The Mavs have won 6-of-7 and 8-of-10 meetings although the Rockets were heavy dogs in those match-ups. Both teams are different now. Take HOUSTON!

Orlando at Chicago 8:00 ET

Magic (-) over Bulls- Everyone is starting to understand why the Magic selected Paolo Banchero No. 1 overall when there were so many high profile players the media was in love with. Banchero’s all-around game has him flirting with a triple-double nightly and he has led Orlando to a 3-1 start. The Magic have won and covered the last five meetings and are 8-2 ATS in the past 10 meetings. The Bulls come from 20-points down to defeat Memphis 126-123 on Monday. Not this time. Take ORLANDO!

LA Lakers at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (-) over Lakers- Great storyline surrounding this match-up as a pair of undefeated ATS (4-0) clubs that are connected in so many ways starting meet for the first of two meetings this season. Starting with LeBron James and his son Bronny as the thirty-nine year old James is scoring 20-points, is still a master at dishing the ball and getting his teammates involved. He returns to Cleveland where he is 19-3 as a visitor while averaging 28.5 points. Teammate Anthony Davis leads the league in scoring with 32.8 PPG but it’s the Cavaliers that are No. 1 in field goal percentage and averaging 123.5 PPG. Tonight it’s CLEVELAND!

Boston at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Celtics- The league’s best, the Boston Celtics are mowing them down one at a time and enter this fray having won five straight against the Pacers including a 4-game sweep in the conference finals.Indiana is off to a slow start after defeating only Detroit in their opener squeaking out a victory with a late push for the half-point (-5.5) 115-109 win and cove. They dropped their next three the last two of which were by two buckets and need a big effort here and they get it. Take INDIANA!

Sacramento at Utah 9:00 ET

Jazz (+) over Kings- As of now these two are on the bottom rung in the West with Utah 0-3 and the Kings 1-2. Sacramento is also 0-2-1 ATS while despite their losses the Jazz are 2-1 ATS. Utah is due to break through into the win column (I hate saying a team is due) especially against the Kings who have won the past four meetings and six of the last seven. The Jazz get it done with their third chance at home and finally get that first win. Take UTAH!

Dallas at Minnesota 7:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Timberwolves- If you throw enough shit at the wall some of it is bound to stick and that has been the story of the Mavericks offense so far this season. Dallas’ field goal percentage is one of the lowest of the league at 42.1 ranking 29th in goals made, but they are also ranked No. 3 in overall shots taken at 97shots per game. The Mavericks have won and covered four of the past five meetings and that was in last years playoffs. The beat goes on...take DALLAS!

LA Lakers at Phoenix 10:00 ET

Lakers (+) over Suns- The Lakers have already taken down the Suns 123-116 at home in their second game of the year and are now 3-0 both SU and ATS. Phoenix has dropped six of the last eight meetings against LA covering just three times. They have won their other two games aaginst the Clippers and Mavericks and are 1-2 ATS. We played against the Suns and got the money with the Clippers opening night and we will do it again here. Take L.A. LAKERS!

New York Giants a Pittsburgh 8:15 ET

Giants (+) over Steelers- A pair of old school NFL franchises face off Monday night when the Once proud New York Football Giants come into Pittsburgh to battle an original NFC club before the merger. The Steelers didn’t miss a beat with the quarterback change from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson and they actually scored their highest point total in three seasons. The Giants scored just 10 combined points in their last two contests both at home against Cincinnati and Philadelphia. New York’s coaching staff was assured their positions are safe as it is more of a talent level issue. Giants with Jones at QB are 1-14 in prime time but the number can be beat here. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

Houston at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Rockets over Spurs- Neither of the Texas rivals has made the playoffs any of the past five seasons but their rivalry remains intense regardless of their records. San Antonio posted a 109-106 win over the Rockets two days ago and had to hold on after nearly blowing a 21-point lead. Houston had won five of the previous six meetings and will return to form here. Look for the Rockets to come out with strong defensive pressure after playing lax in their meeting on Saturday. Take HOUSTON!

Cleveland at New York 7:30 ET
Cavaliers (+) over Knicks- New York opened their season by getting hammered by the defending World Champion Celtics but rebounded in their second outing by blowing out Indiana. Tonight they meet the club that ousted them from the playoff last spring in seven games. Cleveland has opened the season with three straight wins and they have won by an average of 20.3 PPG. The Knicks had four players with 20 points or more in their win over the Pacers including newcomer Karl-Anthony Towns. New York had won 8-of-10 meetings before last year’s playoffs began. Now it’s the Cavaliers. Take CLEVELAND!

Kansas City at Las Vegas 4:25 ET

Raiders (+) over Chiefs- The undefeated Chiefs are looking for the first NFL Super Bowl 3-repeat and have own the Raiders for a decade now. Except for a Christmas Day win in KC when the Chiefs had the division wrapped last season it’s been one sided 16-2 SU for KC. The coach advantage is laughable but it is time for the Raiders player stand-up and show some professionalism and stop silly errors and make good coaching in-game decisions. Take LAS VEGAS!

Buffalo at Seattle 4:25 ET

Seahawks (+) over Bills- Seattle started the year with three straight wins and then fell into a three week abyss losing to the Lions, Giants and 49ers before upsetting the Falcons in Atlanta last week. Buffalo opened the season with three wins and then took and pair of losses before defeating the Jets and Titans. This is the fourth road game in five weeks for the Bills and it is the longest trip of all to Seattle where the decibel record has been set. Seahawks in need and look to win outright. Take SEATTLE!
