12-12-22 | Devils -109 v. Rangers | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 21 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the New Jersey Devils over the New York Rangers. It was a short road trip that just concluded for the Rangers, but a very successful one. With victories over the Golden Knights in Vegas and the Avalanche in Denver, the Rangers beat two of the very best that the West has to offer. Now they return home to face two of the best in the East in the Devils (tonight) and Maple Leafs (Thursday) before heading out for three more on the road. The talented but young group from across the Hudson River looks like not only one of the best in the Conference, but in the entire League right now. With a goal scoring average of 3.70 and a goals-against of 2.33, the Devils have a scoring differential of 1.37, which is the second-best in the NHL (Boston @ 1.77). They just took care of business here at Madison Square Garden less than a month ago, beating the Rangers on that occasion by 5-3. The Devils are a remarkable 11-0 in their last 11 road games while New York is 2-8 in its last 10 vs. teams with a winning percentage above .600. Take New Jersey. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |

12-11-22 | Bruins -140 v. Golden Knights | Top | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 17 h 33 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the Boston Bruins over the Vegas Golden Knights. What did the Bruins do after the Golden Knights broke their home win streak at 14 games? They shrugged it off and began a three-game road trip with a shutout victory in Colorado over the defending Stanley Cup Champions. But then they followed that up by going into Arizona and suffering one of the biggest upset losses in the league this season as the Coyotes triumphed 4-3. That brings us to the Vegas Strip and a huge revenge situation for Boston. The Bruins will try to avenge that home loss less than a week ago at T-Mobile Arena tonight against a very good Knights club. But the good news for the Bruins -- and bad news for Vegas -- is that Boston has not lost back-to-back games all season. And the Knights haven't exactly been tearing it up here lately. In their last four home games they are 1-3 and have scored a total of just six goals . That lone victory came here on Friday and Vegas needed overtime to beat the lowly Flyers. Boston is 6-2 in the last eight meetings. Take the Bruins. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
12-11-22 | Bucs v. 49ers OVER 37.5 | Top | 7-35 | Win | 100 | 67 h 18 m | Show |
At 4:25 pm, our selection is on the OVER in the Tampa Bay/San Francisco 49ers game. Prior to acquiring star running back, Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers' offense averaged just 20.3 ppg, their games averaged 35.1 ppg, and five of the six went Under the total. Now, since the trade, their offense is averaging 26.6 ppg, while their games have averaged 43.5 ppg, and four of the six have gone Over the total. So, while it's true that Tampa's last four games have been low-scoring, and have gone Under the total, Tom Brady's teams have gone Over the total 29-16 off back-to-back Unders, and 12-4 following 3+ Unders. Take the Bucs and 49ers Over the total. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-11-22 | Chiefs v. Broncos OVER 43.5 | Top | 34-28 | Win | 100 | 92 h 15 m | Show |
At 4:05 pm, our selection is on the OVER in the Kansas City/Denver game. The Broncos have played their last 8 games under the total. But I'll look for a high-scoring game on Sunday, as NFL teams off 6+ Unders have gone Over the total 55.4% since 1980 if the O/U line was 47 or less points. Even better: the Broncos have gone Over 55-32 at home when the line ranged from 42.5 to 45.5 points. And the Chiefs have gone Over 13-5 their last 18 as a road favorite (and 70-47 Over their last 117 as a road favorite). Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-11-22 | Vikings v. Lions -2.5 | Top | 23-34 | Win | 100 | 100 h 24 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Lions minus the points over Minnesota. The Vikings come into this road game off 3 straight home games. And unrested road teams off 3 home games — including a SU/ATS win at home the previous week — have gone 67-96 ATS since 1980. That doesn't bode well for the Vikings here, at Ford Field. Detroit has quietly covered its last five games. And, at home this season, the Lions have outscored their foes 223-195, even though its opponents have included the likes of four current playoff teams (Eagles, Bills, Dolphins, Seahawks), as well as the Commanders and Packers. For the season, the Lions are 8-3 ATS, and have covered the spread by an average of 2.70 ppg (Minnesota has a negative point spread differential of -1.20). At home, Detroit's spread margin improves to +6.71, while Minnesota's road point spread differential is minus 0.30. The Lions lost a heartbreaker earlier this season, 28-24, but covered the number in defeat. And they've won the last 4 ATS vs. the Vikings. The revenge-minded team in this NFC North division rivalry which lost the season's earlier meeting has gone 26-13-2 ATS. Take Detroit. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-11-22 | Eagles v. Giants +7 | Top | 48-22 | Loss | -115 | 89 h 31 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the New York Giants + the points over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles come into this game off back to back high-scoring home wins. They defeated the Packers two weeks ago, 40-33. And they blew out Tennessee, 35-10, last week. But NFL road favorites have covered just 35.2% since 1980 off back to back home wins in which they scored more than 30 points. That doesn't bode well for Philly in this divisional game. Nor does the fact that the Giants are 63-40 ATS as an underdog vs. .700 (or better) foes. Take the New York Giants + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-11-22 | Jaguars +3.5 v. Titans | Top | 36-22 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Jacksonville Jaguars + the points over the Tennessee Titans. Both of these teams were blown out last week. The Jags lost by 26 to Detroit, while Tennessee lost by 25 to Philly. This is the first meeting of the season between these division rivals. They’ll also meet in the last week of the regular season. The Titans shut out Jacksonville, 20-0, in the previous meeting last season. And revenge-minded, road underdogs that were shut out in the previous meeting have gone 64-48 ATS in the regular season since 1980. That bodes well for the underdog Jaguars this afternoon. As does the fact that Tennessee is a horrible 34-54 ATS as a home favorite, priced from -3 to -12.5 points. Take the Jaguars + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie |
12-11-22 | Jets v. Bills OVER 43.5 | Top | 12-20 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 56 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the OVER in the Buffalo/New York Jets game. These two teams met earlier this season, and the Jets pulled off a huge upset, 20-17, and held the Bills to their season-low in points. That game went Under the total of 46 by 9 points. Today's number is lower, and the Over falls into a 113-69 Totals system of mine, which is the way we'll look here. Additionally, the Bills are 82-55 Over the total when priced as a favorite of -4 to -11 points, while the Jets have gone Over the total 67% since 1987 when playing a revenge-minded foe it upset earlier in the year. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | TCU v. SMU +12 | Top | 83-75 | Win | 100 | 16 h 13 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the SMU Mustangs + the points over TCU. The Mustangs enter tonight's Metroplex rivalry game off 3 SU/ATS losses. But we'll grab the points with SMU, as the Horned Frogs are a wallet-busting 53-91-3 ATS vs. foes off back to back ATS losses. And they're 10-31-1 ATS their last 42 vs. foes off ATS losses in their three previous games. Take SMU. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Central Arkansas v. Oral Roberts -15.5 | Top | 78-111 | Win | 100 | 14 h 13 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles minus the points over Central Arkansas. The Bears pulled off an upset win over Arkansas State, 72-67, on Tuesday. But I look for a letdown tonight. Central Arkansas has been a dreadful traveler of late, as it's 3-24 SU and 7-19-1 ATS on the road as an underdog. Even worse: Oral Roberts is 9-0 ATS its last nine vs. foes off an upset win. Lay the points with the Golden Eagles. |
12-10-22 | Hurricanes -138 v. Islanders | Top | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 14 h 49 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes over the New York Islanders. The Hurricanes must have felt pretty good when they came to Anaheim near the end of their current road trip on Tuesday. After all, Carolina had gone 3-0 with wins in Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Los Angeles and now they were facing a Ducks team that was 6-17-3. But Anaheim pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season, beating the 'Canes 4-3 in overtime. That sent the 'Canes packing back to the east coast and tonight they play the Islanders in New York. The Isles come into tonight having just upset the Devils in New Jersey last night, 6-4. So now they play at home on zero days of rest which is the opposite of the Hurricanes who come in having had three days off. With Semyon Varlamov having gone in goal in the big win against New Jersey, the Isles will likely go with back-up Ilya Sorokin tonight. New York has lost each of Sorokin's last three starts vs. the Blues, Predators, and Flyers. Carolina is 13-5 in its last 18 games playing on three or more days of rest. Take the 'Canes. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Nevada v. Oregon -8 | Top | 65-78 | Win | 100 | 13 h 5 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Oregon Ducks minus the points over Nevada. Nevada's 8-2 on the season after an upset win at Pepperdine on Tuesday. The Ducks, meanwhile, come into this home game off 3 straight ATS wins, and are 5-3-1 ATS on the season. We'll lay the points with Oregon, as it's 10-0-1 ATS at home its last 11 if it was on a 3-game (or better) ATS win streak, and its opponent was off a SU win. Take the Ducks. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Kansas v. Missouri +3.5 | Top | 95-67 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 21 m | Show |
At 5:15 pm, our selection is on the Missouri Tigers + the points over Kansas. Both of these former conference rivals are off to great starts. The Jayhawks are 8-1, while Mizzou is unbeaten, at 9-0. Missouri's a home underdog today, even though its scoring margin (at +19.22) is 7 ppg better than Kansas' margin, and its point spread differential is 1.77 ppg better than Kansas' differential. We'll take the points with the Tigers, as undefeated teams, with a 7-0 (or better) record, have covered 83% since 1990 as home underdogs, if their scoring margin was better than their opponent's, and at least 18 ppg. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Georgia Tech v. North Carolina -13 | Top | 59-75 | Win | 100 | 9 h 22 m | Show |
At 3:15 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over Georgia Tech. The Heels have covered just once this season -- as a 12-point home favorite vs. James Madison -- and have dropped their last four games, SU/ATS. We'll lay the points with Hubert Davis' men, as North Carolina is 21-4 SU and 18-6-1 ATS as a favorite of -3 (or more) points off four (or more) ATS losses, including a perfect 7-0 SU/ATS at home vs. ACC Conference rivals. Lay the points with North Carolina. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Navy v. Army -1 | Top | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 152 h 22 m | Show |
At 3 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the Army Black Knights minus the points over Navy. The Midshipmen come into this game -- at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field -- off an upset win over Central Florida, 17-14, as a 14.5-point underdog. But that was just Navy's 4th win on the season (against 7 losses). They'll now face an Army team which is a red-hot 5-0 ATS its last five after blowing out UMass, 44-7. We'll lay the points with Army, as NCAA favorites (or PK) off 4 ATS wins have gone 79-42 ATS away from home in the regular season vs. foes that don't have a winning record (including 7-0 ATS the last 7). And if our red-hot team was playing a non-conference opponent, then our 79-42 record moves to a perfect 8-0 ATS. Take Army. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Kent State v. Cleveland State +9.5 | Top | 67-58 | Win | 100 | 9 h 13 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland St Vikings + the points over Kent State. On Wednesday, Cleveland State's 6-game win streak (and 4-game ATS win streak) were halted in a 19-point blowout loss at St Bonaventure. We'll take the Vikings to bounce back, as they're 22-8 ATS off a point spread loss. Take the Vikings + the points. |
12-10-22 | Albany +19.5 v. Providence | Top | 55-93 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 44 m | Show |
At 2:30 pm, our selection is on the Albany Great Danes + the points over Providence. The Friars are an ugly 8-28 ATS when laying 17+ points, including 0-9 ATS their last nine vs. foes off back to back losses. Take Albany + the points. |
12-10-22 | Detroit v. Charlotte -8 | Top | 80-82 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 15 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte 49ers minus the points over Detroit. The 49ers are 7-2, but one of their two losses was against these Titans, on Nov. 23. Charlotte was buried by 21 points, as it shot a season-low 34%, and allowed a season-high 52%. With payback on its mind, we'll lay the points with the 49ers this afternoon. Charlotte is 44-32 ATS at home when playing with revenge, if it was off a SU win. And Detroit is 0-7 ATS its last 7 (and 2-16 ATS its last 18) as an underdog vs. a revenge-minded foe off a win. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-10-22 | Long Island +39.5 v. Connecticut | Top | 61-114 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 45 m | Show |
At 12:30 pm, our selection is on the Long Island Sharks + the points over Connecticut. Big East teams are a horrid 19-44-2 ATS off an ATS win when favored by more than 24 points, including 0-10-1 ATS their last 11 when playing a revenge-minded foe. Last year, UConn ran roughshod over the Sharks, in a 93-40 win. Take Long Island + the points. |
12-09-22 | Sharks -114 v. Ducks | Top | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 21 h 30 m | Show |
At 10:05 pm, our selection is on the San Jose Sharks over the Anaheim Ducks. Anaheim comes into tonight's game off a 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. Unfortunately, the Ducks are 12-31 at home vs. division rivals, and 18-35 off a win (including 6-22 off a 1-goal win). And while it's true that San Jose's defense has sprung a leak, lately, with 17 goals surrendered over its last three games, the Sharks are also 5-1 after giving up 5+ goals in each of their three previous games. Take San Jose. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-09-22 | Washington v. Gonzaga -16 | Top | 60-77 | Win | 100 | 19 h 23 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs minus the points over Washington. The Huskies come into this non-conference game off a 73-63 triumph over Pac-12 rival, Colorado. Gonzaga also won its previous game -- a 7-point win over Kent State -- but it failed to cover the spread for the fifth straight game. We'll fade the Huskies, as Gonzaga is 22-5-1 ATS at home vs. foes off a win by more than 8 points. And Washington is an awful 15-42-2 ATS vs. .500 (or better) foes off 3 (or more) ATS losses. Take Gonzaga. Good luck as always...Al McMordie. |
12-09-22 | Suns -1.5 v. Pelicans | Top | 117-128 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 2 m | Show |
At 8:40 pm, our selection is on the Phoenix Suns minus the points over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Suns were upset, 125-98, as a 2.5-point home favorite by Boston. The Suns are now a road favorite against New Orleans, which has overtaken Phoenix for the #1 spot in the Western Conference. We'll take the Suns to bounce back, as they're 6-0 ATS their last six; 10-1 ATS their last 11; and 30-13 ATS their last 43 off an upset loss. And when priced as a road favorite of less than four points, the Suns are 15-0 ATS their last 15 off an upset loss (and 21-2 ATS their last 23). Take the Suns. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-08-22 | Michigan -4 v. Minnesota | Top | 90-75 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Michigan Wolverines minus the points over Minnesota. The Wolves come into this game off back to back losses to Virginia and Kentucky. We'll take Juwan Howard's men to bounce back here, as Michigan is 80-44 ATS off a SU loss, including 22-8 ATS away from home vs. an opponent also off a loss. Lay the points with Michigan. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-08-22 | Rockets v. Spurs +2.5 | Top | 109-118 | Win | 100 | 13 h 29 m | Show |
At 8:40 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs + the points over Houston. The Spurs have had the last 3 days off to lick their wounds from their current 11-game losing streak. We'll take the Spurs as a home underdog, as well-rested NBA teams, playing with at least 3 days' of rest, have covered 63% since 1990 if they were on a 9-game (or worse) losing streak. Even better: the Rockets are an awful 24-53-2 ATS off an ATS win if they were playing a rested foe. Take San Antonio. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-08-22 | Senators v. Stars -175 | Top | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 13 h 26 m | Show |
At 8:35 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Stars over the Ottawa Senators. The Stars come into this Thursday night match-up having lost two straight home games. The first one was frustrating enough as Dallas lost to the Wild, 6-5 in a shootout. But that was nothing compared to their loss to Toronto two nights later. In that one, the Stars put a whopping 44 shots on goal against the Leafs while facing only 28 but lost 4-0. They'll look to take out their frustration at home tonight against a Senators team that is just 10-14-1 on the season. Ottawa's offense has been a bit anemic on the road this season as the Sens have scored at a rate of just 2.64 GPG when playing away from their home ice. The Senators are 6-13 in their last 19 games overall and 10-21 in their last 31 against teams from the Central Division. The Stars, meanwhile, are 29-14 in their last 43 immediately following a home loss by three or more goals. And they're 31-12 off a home shutout loss. Finally, the home team has won 7 of the last 8 meetings. Take the Stars. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
12-07-22 | Merrimack +21 v. San Francisco | Top | 51-69 | Win | 100 | 14 h 50 m | Show |
At 10:30 pm, our selection is on the Merrimack Warriors + the points over San Francisco. The Dons are an ugly 107-150-8 ATS in non-conference games. And they're also 34-60-2 ATS at home vs. a foe off a loss. Take Merrimack + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-07-22 | Eastern Washington v. California -4 | Top | 50-48 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 21 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the California Golden Bears minus the points over Eastern Washington. We played against California a week ago in its Pac-12 opener, and got the $$$ with USC. That loss lowered Cal's record to 0-8. And it's now 0-9 following another conference defeat at Arizona. Tonight, the Bears will be playing out-of-conference vs. Eastern Washington. We'll lay the points, as the Eagles are a dreadful 23-41 ATS as an underdog of less than 9 points in non-conference games. Take California. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-07-22 | Denver +4 v. CS Sacramento | Top | 85-87 | Win | 100 | 13 h 19 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Denver Pioneers + the points over Sacramento St. These two teams met in Denver last month, and the Hornets came away with a 73-69 upset win. Denver hasn't lost since, and will go for its 7th straight win tonight. The Hornets are 12-24-4 ATS as a single-digit favorite vs. a revenge-minded foe. Take Denver + the points. |
12-07-22 | Utah Valley v. BYU -8.5 | Top | 75-60 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 22 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the BYU Cougars minus the points over Utah Valley St. The Cougars are an awesome 39-16 ATS at home vs. non-conference foes, when priced as a favorite of -4.5 to -12.5 points. Take BYU. |
12-07-22 | Indiana State v. Southern Illinois -3.5 | Top | 74-71 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 22 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Southern Illinois Salukis minus the points over Indiana St. The Salukis have won 26 of the last 31 home games vs. Indiana State, including an 15-5 ATS ledger when not laying 11+ points. Take Southern Illinois minus the points. |
12-07-22 | Delaware State +18.5 v. Delaware | Top | 69-77 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Delaware State Hornets + the points over Delaware. The Blue Hens upset Davidson, 69-67, on Saturday. But off that upset win, we'll fade the Hens at home tonight. Delaware is a wallet-busting 42-59 ATS at home off a win, including 0-6 ATS its last six. And it's 11-25 ATS when laying 8 or more points against a foe off a SU loss. Take the Hornets. |
12-06-22 | Mavs v. Nuggets -4.5 | Top | 116-115 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 54 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Denver Nuggets minus the points over the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs come into this road game off back to back blowout wins over New York (121-100) and Phoenix (130-111). Meanwhile, Denver was pounded, 121-106, by the New Orleans Pelicans. We'll take Nikola Jokic & Co. to bounce back, as NBA home favorites have covered 68% since 1991 if they were off a loss by 15+ points, and their opponent was off back to back 19-point (or greater) wins. Take Denver. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-06-22 | Sam Houston State v. Oklahoma State -10 | Top | 51-65 | Win | 100 | 14 h 50 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma St Cowboys minus the points over Sam Houston St. The Cowboys lost at UConn, 74-64, on Thursday, while the Bearkats blew out Dallas Christian, 111-58. We'll lay the points with Okie State, as it's 17-5 ATS as a favorite off a double-digit loss, if its foe was off a double-digit win. Take the Cowboys. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-06-22 | Green Bay v. Loyola-Chicago -19.5 | Top | 46-70 | Win | 100 | 13 h 51 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Loyola Chicago Ramblers minus the points over Wisconsin-Green Bay. Loyola will be looking to bounce back off its home upset loss to DePaul on Saturday. The good news is that Loyola has cashed 67% since 1990 at home off a home upset loss, when they were playing an opponent off a win. We played on the Phoenix yesterday, and were rewarded when they notched their first win of the season (and also covered) against IUPUI. But off that win, we'll fade Green Bay on the road vs. Loyola-Chi. The Phoenix are a wallet-breaking 1-6 ATS their last 7 as a double-digit dog. And they're 12-29-2 ATS as a dog of 3+ points, if they were off a win, and playing a foe off a loss. Take Loyola-Chicago to bounce back from its upset loss vs. DePaul. Lay the points. |
12-06-22 | Vermont v. Dartmouth +5 | Top | 68-52 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 51 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Dartmouth Big Green + the points over Vermont. The Big Green will be looking to snap a 13-game losing streak to Vermont, in this Twin State battle. And if their last two games (also, here at home) are any indication, they should get the upset win. Dartmouth comes into this game off a 25-point blowout of Cal State Bakersfield. And that followed a 58 point rout of NVU-Johnson. Dartmouth has covered the spread by an average of 5.25 ppg at home this season, while Vermont has failed to cover the spread by 7.3 ppg on the road. Take Dartmouth. |
12-05-22 | Kent State v. Gonzaga -15 | Top | 66-73 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 50 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs minus the points over Kent State. After a whirlwind tour around the country, which saw Gonzaga play 7 games away from home -- many against the nation's Elite schools -- the Bulldogs return home to face the Golden Flashes in The Kennel. Gonzaga last played here, at home, in its season opening win (and cover) over North Florida. The Bulldogs' home win streak currently is at 69 games. And they're an awesome 13-0-1 ATS at home their last 14 (and 22-4-1 ATS their last 27) vs. foes off a 9-point (or greater) win. With Kent State in off an 83-68 victory over South Dakota St., we'll fade the Golden Flashes, and lay the points with the Bulldogs. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

12-05-22 | Saints v. Bucs OVER 40.5 | Top | 16-17 | Loss | -110 | 86 h 56 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, on Monday, our selection is on the OVER in the Tampa Bay/New Orleans game. These two NFC South division rivals met earlier in the season, and the Bucs triumphed, 20-10. The Over/Under line in that game was 43.5, so it went under the total. I look for a much higher scoring game on Monday, as NFL games have gone OVER the total 11 straight games (and 60% since 2011) if the season's previous meeting totaled 38 or less points, and also went under the total. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-05-22 | Albany +16 v. Massachusetts | Top | 73-87 | Win | 100 | 11 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on Albany + the points over Massachusetts. The Great Danes are 3-6 SU and 2-5 ATS, while UMass is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS, after winning 5 straight games away from Amherst. Tonight, the Minutemen are back home at the Mullins Center. But that's not necessarily a good thing, as UMass is an ugly 11-40 ATS at home when priced from -10.5 to -19.5 points! Take the Great Danes + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-05-22 | IUPU-Indianapolis v. Green Bay -6.5 | Top | 61-68 | Win | 100 | 4 h 51 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, on Monday, in an early Horizon League game, our selection is on the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix minus the points over IUPUI. Green Bay is 0-7 this season, and rated as the country's 358th worst team (out of 363). That's the bad news. The good news is that IUPUI is rated as the country's WORST team, at #363. Green Bay will play the Jaguars twice this season, and those two games represent Green Bay's best (and possibly, only) chances to get a win this season. And, of course, this home game will confer a better chance than Green Bay's road game at IUPUI on February 4. The Jaguars are an awful 20-40 ATS away from home vs. an opponent not off a win (including 0-16 SU and 3-12-1 ATS their last 16). Take Green Bay minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie |
12-04-22 | Colts +10.5 v. Cowboys | Top | 19-54 | Loss | -110 | 62 h 2 m | Show |
At 8:20 pm, our selection is on the Indianapolis Colts + the points over the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts were upset on Monday Night Football by the Pittsburgh Steelers, 24-17. But off that loss, we'll take Indy on Sunday night, as it's 33-8 ATS off a straight-up loss, if it failed to cover the point spread in that previous game by 7+ points. Even better: NFL double-digit underdogs have cashed 66.1% the past 43 years off back to back home losses, if they were playing an opponent off back to back wins. Take the Colts + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-04-22 | Broncos v. Ravens OVER 39.5 | Top | 9-10 | Loss | -110 | 55 h 41 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the OVER in the Denver/Baltimore game. The Broncos have played their last 7 games under the total. But after playing 5 straight games where their defense held their opponents to less than 20 points, the Broncos have surrendered 22 and 23 points in their two previous games. And this weekend, they're playing a Ravens team which is averaging 25.0 ppg, and has scored 20+ points in nine of its 11 games. Baltimore will put points on the board. And I expect a relatively-high scoring game, as NFL teams on a streak of 6+ Unders have proceeded to go Over the total 55.5%. Take the Ravens/Broncos over the total. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | St. Mary's +10.5 v. Houston | Top | 48-53 | Win | 100 | 13 h 41 m | Show |
At 9:30 pm, our selection is on the St Mary's Gaels + the points over Houston. This game will be played in Fort Worth, Texas, at a neutral site. The Cougars have ascended to the #1 spot in the College Basketball rankings. But this will be a tough test for Kelvin Sampson's men, as the Gaels check in off back to back SU/ATS losses. And St. Mary's is 38-29 ATS in non-conference games off a SU/ATS loss. And Houston's a soft 41% ATS away from home the past 33 seasons, off back to back wins, if its opponent was off back to back SU/ATS losses. Take the Gaels + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | South Dakota State +19.5 v. Alabama | Top | 65-78 | Win | 100 | 12 h 40 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the S. Dakota St. Jackrabbits + the points over Alabama. Nate Oats' Crimson Tide won a thrilling, 4-overtime game vs. North Carolina last Sunday, 103-101. We'll fade Alabama tonight, as it's a wallet-breaking 3-18-1 ATS after scoring more than 75 points, while the Jackrabbits are 27-11 ATS on the road vs. a foe off a win. Take South Dakota St. + the points. |
12-03-22 | Clemson v. North Carolina +8.5 | Top | 39-10 | Loss | -110 | 38 h 39 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels + the points over Clemson. The Tar Heels come into this ACC Championship game off back to back losses to Georgia Tech and NC State. I look for North Carolina to rebound on Saturday night, as it's 37-19 ATS off back to back losses, including 22-10 ATS as an underdog of 7+ points. Meanwhile, Clemson is a soft 19-36-1 ATS as a favorite of -7 (or more) points when playing a foe off back to back losses. Even worse: the Tigers are 11-30 ATS as a favorite away from home, if it was off an ATS loss in its previous game (and 1-12 ATS if the Tigers were off a SU loss). Take North Carolina. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | Purdue +17 v. Michigan | Top | 22-43 | Loss | -110 | 38 h 38 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers + the points over Michigan. Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines won their school's biggest game since they defeated Washington State on January 1, 1998 to earn their last National Championship. Michigan was a 9-point road underdog, but routed its biggest rival, Ohio State, 45-23, last Saturday in a dominant performance. It's widely accepted that even a loss to Purdue won't injure Michigan's chances to be in the 4-team playoffs later this month. So, given this backdrop, we'll have no problem pulling the trigger on the double-digit underdog Boilermakers. Last week, we had our Big 10 Conference Game of the Year on Purdue, and it rewarded us with a 14-point win over Indiana. We'll grab the points with the Boilermakers here, and note that Michigan is an awful 0-7 ATS off an upset win over a previously undefeated Big 10 foe. Additionally, the underdog has gone 7-3-1 in Big 10 Championship games. And Purdue is 14-1-1 ATS away from home as an underdog of more than 12 points in Big 10 games, if its opponent was off a win. Take the Boilermakers + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | Canadiens v. Oilers -220 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Edmonton Oilers over the Montreal Canadiens. The Glory Days of both the Oilers and Canadiens are clearly behind them now, although Montreal made a surprise visit to the Cup Finals in the Pandemic-shortened 2020-2021 season. But if one of these two were to hoist the Cup anytime soon, it would likely be Edmonton, which features some very talented players -- both veterans and youngsters. The Habs' biggest problem right now is staying healthy. No fewer than seven Montreal players are either questionable for tonight or out for an extended period of time. Having said that, they Habs have managed to win three of their last four -- all of which have been on the road as is tonight's contest. This would appear to be a much better match-up for the Oilers, who are 6-1 in their last seven games against teams from the Atlantic whereas the Habs are 6-16 in their last 22 vs. teams from the Pacific. Montreal is also 11-23 in its last 34 games following a win and 17-38 in its last 55 road contests. Take Edmonton. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | Wofford v. Vanderbilt -8.5 | Top | 62-65 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 11 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores minus the points over Wofford. Vanderbilt lost at VCU, 70-65, on Wednesday, as a 2.5-point underdog. We'll take Vandy to bounce back this evening, as it's 20-10-2 ATS its last 32 as a favorite. Take the Commodores minus the points. |
12-03-22 | Coastal Carolina +8.5 v. Troy | Top | 26-45 | Loss | -110 | 33 h 9 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers + the points over Troy. Coastal Carolina was bombed, 47-7, by James Madison last week, while Troy routed Arkansas State, 48-19. We'll take Coastal Carolina to bounce back, as road underdogs of more than 4 points in Sun Belt Conference games have gone 83-42 ATS off a loss, if they failed to cover the spread by 5+ points in that defeat. Take Coastal Carolina. |
12-03-22 | Oakland +8.5 v. IUPU Ft Wayne | Top | 73-79 | Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Oakland Golden Grizzlies + the points over Fort Wayne. The Mastodons were upset by Detroit, 75-66, on Thursday. We'll go against Fort Wayne this afternoon, as it's a dismal 15-27 ATS in conference games off a loss, when priced as a favorite of -11 or less points. Take Oakland. |
12-03-22 | Jackson State +14 v. SMU | Top | 69-68 | Win | 100 | 6 h 6 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Jackson State Tigers + the points over SMU. The Tigers are 6-1 ATS their last seven (and 10-3 ATS their last 13) as double-digit road dogs. Take Jackson St. + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | Incarnate Word v. Grambling State -9.5 | Top | 39-72 | Win | 100 | 5 h 13 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Grambling Tigers + the points over Incarnate Word. The Cardinals edged the Tigers, 63-61, last Sunday, in the 210 San Antonio Shootout. This afternoon, I look for Grambling to avenge that defeat, as the Cardinals are 1-5 ATS their last 6 vs. revenge-minded foes. And Grambling also falls into 173-95 and 213-112 ATS revenge systems of mine. Lay the points with the Tigers. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-03-22 | Evansville +11.5 v. Northern Iowa | Top | 55-72 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 7 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Evansville Purple Aces + the points over Northern Iowa. Double-digit favorites are a dreadful 78-119 ATS in Missouri Valley Conference regular season games if they are off a SU loss. With the Panthers in off a 15-point loss at Bradley, we'll grab the points with Evansville. |
12-03-22 | Fairleigh Dickinson +12 v. St. Joe's | Top | 97-80 | Win | 100 | 4 h 8 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Fairleigh-Dickinson Knights + the points over St Josephs. The Hawks are a poor 21-38 ATS as a home favorite of -5 to -12.5 points. Take the Knights + the points. |
12-03-22 | Toledo -3 v. Ohio | Top | 17-7 | Win | 100 | 30 h 40 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, on Saturday, our selection is on the Toledo Rockets + the points over Ohio. Last week, Toledo mustered just 14 points, and was upset, 20-14, by Western Michigan, as a 9.5-point road favorite. Meanwhile, Ohio put up 38 points in a blowout win over Bowling Green. We'll lay the points with Toledo, as it's 11-0 ATS as a favorite of -3 (or more) points, if it scored less than 17 points in its previous game. Even better: NCAA teams have covered 71% of Conference Title games since 2009 if they scored 20+ less points in their final regular season game than did their current opponent. Take the Rockets minus the points. |
12-03-22 | St Francis PA +29.5 v. Ohio State | Top | 59-96 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 8 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the St. Francis-PA Red Flash + the points over Ohio St. The Buckeyes come into this game off an 81-72 loss at Duke. And now they're favored by double-digits against a St Francis PA team off back-to-back SU/ATS losses to American and Bucknell. Unfortunately for Ohio St, it's 13-27 ATS at home when favored between -23 and -32 points. Take St. Francis PA + the points. |
12-02-22 | Raptors +2.5 v. Nets | Top | 105-114 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 16 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors + the points over Brooklyn. The Raptors come into this game off a 126-108 blowout loss, at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans. We'll take Toronto to bounce back off that loss, as it's 20-7 ATS vs. winning teams, if Toronto lost its previous game by more than 11 points. Additionally, the Raptors play this game with revenge from a 112-98 loss last week here, in Brooklyn. But Toronto is a solid 18-10 ATS when playing with revenge, while Brooklyn is 3-15 ATS at home vs. revenge-minded foes, if Brooklyn owned a winning record. Grab the points with the Raptors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-02-22 | Predators v. Islanders -150 | Top | 4-1 | Loss | -150 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the New York Islanders over the Nashville Predators. The Predators have won three of their last four games, although it took extra time to get each of their wins. They needed a shootout to beat the Coyotes on November 21 and then after a shutout loss loss to the Red Wings in their next game, the Preds needed overtime to beat both the Ducks on Tuesday and Devils on Thursday. From New Jersey, the Predators head east to play the Islanders at the relatively new UBS Arena. Nashville has a winning record at home this season (7-3-2), but on the road it is just 4-6. The main reason for the Predators' road struggles is a 3.90 goals-against average when playing away from home. The Islanders have had two days off since a Tuesday loss in Philadelphia to the Flyers and they're 6-1 in their last seven home games coming into tonight. The Preds, on the other hand, are 1-5 in their last six games when playing with zero days of rest as well as 2-8 in their last 10 in games vs. teams from the Eastern Conference. Take New York. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
12-02-22 | Wake Forest v. Clemson -2.5 | Top | 57-77 | Win | 100 | 13 h 35 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Clemson Tigers minus the points over Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons pulled off a big upset in its last game, as they knocked off Wisconsin, 78-75, as a 6-point road underdog. We'll fade Wake Forest tonight, as it's 11-19-1 ATS as a road underdog off an upset win, while Clemson is 20-8 ATS at home off back to back wins. Lay the points. |
12-02-22 | Niagara v. Iona -12.5 | Top | 56-78 | Win | 100 | 13 h 35 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Iona Gaels minus the points over Niagara. Rick Pitino's men were upset by Santa Clara, 86-76, on Saturday. We'll take Iona tonight, as it's cashed 69% over the last 33 years as a double-digit favorite off an upset loss. Additionally, Niagara is 8-15 ATS away from home vs. conference foes off upset losses. Take Iona. |
12-02-22 | Eastern Kentucky v. James Madison -13.5 | Top | 80-97 | Win | 100 | 13 h 34 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the James Madison Dukes minus the points over Eastern Kentucky. The Dukes come into this game off a loss to Valparaiso, while Eastern Kentucky blew out Brescia, 122-84, in its last game. Unfortunately, the Colonels have not been a good team away from home, and especially not when they're playing an opponent off a SU loss, as they're 0-14 ATS since 2019. Take James Madison minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-02-22 | Akron v. Buffalo UNDER 55.5 | Top | 22-23 | Win | 100 | 7 h 43 m | Show |
At 1 pm, on Friday, our selection is on the UNDER in the Akron/Buffalo game. Five of the last six meetings (and 10 of the last 15) between these two Mid-American Conference rivals have gone Under the total. And that's the way we'll look, here. It's true that Buffalo has played its last four games over the total. But Mid-American Conference teams are 20-10 UNDER their last 30 after playing their three previous games over the total. And the Under also falls into one of my favorite Totals systems which has cashed 64%. Take the Under. Good luck, as always...Al McMcMordie |
12-01-22 | Illinois State +12.5 v. Murray State | Top | 67-70 | Win | 100 | 13 h 41 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Illinois St. Redbirds + the points over Murray St. The Redbirds come into this game on a 4-game SU/ATS losing streak, while Murray St. checks in off an upset loss at Chattanooga. We'll grab the points with Illinois State, as Missouri Valley Conference double-digit underdogs are 118-78 ATS in the regular season vs. a foe off a SU loss. And Illinois State also falls into 477-409, 799-596 and 242-192 ATS systems of mine that play on certain teams off SU/ATS losses. Grab the points with Illinois State. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
12-01-22 | Golden Knights v. Penguins -110 | Top | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 49 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Vegas Golden Knights. The Penguins come into tonight's game off back to back losses on Saturday to Toronto, and on Tuesday to Carolina. But we'll take Sidney Crosby & Co. to bounce back tonight against the Golden Knights. The Penguins have won each of the last three meetings between these clubs. And the Pens are also 37-20 at home when the O/U line was 6+ goals, and 11-4 off a division home loss. Take the Penguins. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-30-22 | USC -9.5 v. California | Top | 66-51 | Win | 100 | 7 h 29 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the USC Trojans minus the points over California. The Bears are 0-7 on the season, and start Pac-12 Conference play tonight against USC. The Trojans have won the last 8 meetings between these rivals, and I expect more of the same tonight -- especially with USC looking to bounce back off its losses to Wisconsin and Tennessee last week. Take Southern Cal minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie |
11-30-22 | Clippers v. Jazz -6.5 | Top | 112-125 | Win | 100 | 13 h 12 m | Show |
At 9:10 pm, our selection is on the Utah Jazz minus the points over the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clips won last night over Portland, 118-112. We'll fade LA in Utah tonight, as the Jazz are 54-31 ATS at home when rested, and not favored by double-digits against an unrested foe off back to back wins. Take the Jazz minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-30-22 | Central Arkansas v. Loyola-Chicago -12.5 | Top | 70-85 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Loyola Chicago Ramblers minus the points over Central Arkansas. Loyola's on a 4-game losing streak after falling at Harvard, 61-55, last Friday. Meanwhile, the Bears come into this game off an 81-77 win over Idaho St. Unfortunately, Central Arkansas is a wallet-breaking 0-12-1 ATS after scoring 73+ points, if they were playing an opponent off a loss. Take Loyola to blow out the Bears. |
11-30-22 | Spurs +5.5 v. Thunder | Top | 111-119 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 13 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs + the points over the OKC Thunder. The Spurs come into this game off an upset loss to the LA Lakers, and have now lost 8 straight games. We'll grab the points with San Antone, as it's 78-42 ATS off an upset loss, if it was playing a .446 (or worse) opponent also off a SU loss. Take San Antonio + the points. |
11-30-22 | North Alabama +27.5 v. Memphis | Top | 68-87 | Win | 100 | 5 h 30 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the North Alabama Lions + the points over Memphis. The Tigers come into this game off back to back wins. But they're horrible (5-17-1 ATS) in non-conference games as a big favorite of more than 22 points if they're not off a SU loss. Take North Alabama + the points. |
11-30-22 | Hawks -5.5 v. Magic | Top | 125-108 | Win | 100 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over the Orlando Magic. The Hawks come into tonight's game off 3 SU/ATS losses. We'll lay the points tonight, as Orlando is a dismal 8-29 ATS at home vs. foes off 3+ losses. Take the Hawks. |
11-30-22 | Western Michigan v. Dayton -17.5 | Top | 47-67 | Win | 100 | 5 h 31 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Dayton Flyers minus the points over Western Michigan. The Flyers are giving up less than 60 ppg, while Western Michigan is surrendering more than 74. The Broncos are 15-32-1 ATS on the road when they were playing an opponent whose defensive ppg average was at least 7 points better. Look for Dayton to hand Western Michigan its 6th straight ATS loss. Lay the points. |
11-30-22 | Elon +11 v. High Point | Top | 70-84 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 30 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Elon Phoenix + the points over High Point. The Panthers come into this game off wins over Central Michigan and Tennessee State. And they've been installed as a big favorite vs. Elon. But the Phoenix are 22-4 ATS as double-digit road dogs vs. foes off back to back wins. We'll fade the Panthers tonight. Take Elon + the points. |
11-29-22 | Seattle Kraken v. Kings -115 | Top | 9-8 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Kings over the Seattle Kraken. Last season -- their inaugural one -- the Seattle Kraken had one three game win streak and nothing longer than that. A quarter of the way through 2022-2023 and the surprising Kraken already have a five-game win streak going (and counting) and it's their second of at least five games so far since the season began. At 13-8, Seattle is probably the most surprising team in the NHL at this early stage. The Kraken haven't lost since dropping an OT decision to the Jets on November 13 and they've already beaten the Kings twice so far this season. But let's not hand Seattle the Stanley Cup quite yet. They still have a lot of work to do, especially on defense as they allowed four goals to the Ducks and five to the Sharks in recent games. This season's Kings team seems to play to the level of their competition. Though overall they are a .500 club, the Kings are 5-1 in their last six games vs. teams with a winning percentage of .600 or better. Take Los Angeles. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
11-29-22 | Cal-Irvine v. San Diego State -11.5 | Top | 69-72 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 37 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the San Diego State Aztecs minus the points over Cal Irvine. The Aztecs lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Maui Invitation, and dropped their second straight on the season (after a 4-0 start). We'll take Brian Dutcher's men to bounce back at home tonight, as SDSU is 28-17-1 ATS as a favorite off back to back losses. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-29-22 | Georgia Tech v. Iowa -15 | Top | 65-81 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Iowa Hawkeyes minus the points over Georgia Tech. Iowa sprinted out to a 5-0 start this season. But the Hawkeyes were upset, 79-66, by TCU on Saturday, and suffered their first loss of the season. We'll take the Hawkeyes to rebound tonight, as Georgia Tech is a dismal 18-32-1 ATS away from home vs. a foe off an upset loss. Lay the points with Iowa. |
11-29-22 | Warriors v. Mavs +2 | Top | 113-116 | Win | 100 | 7 h 4 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Mavericks + the points over the Golden State Warriors. The Mavericks and Warriors both enter tonight's game with 10 losses on the season, though it's the Mavericks who are playing worse of late. Dallas has dropped its last four games, while the Warriors have won 3 straight. We'll look for the Mavs to snap their losing streak tonight, and take the points. Dallas is 27-12 ATS as a home underdog off a SU/ATS loss when playing an opponent off a straight-up win. Take the Mavericks. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-29-22 | Bellarmine v. Kentucky -25.5 | Top | 41-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 38 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Bellarmine. This season, the Wildcats are 4-0 ATS as a favorite of more than 19 points, and 0-2 ATS when not favored by that many. Kentucky last played on Nov. 23, so it's had the last 5 days off. When Kentucky has played in the regular season with at least 5 days off, it's gone 95-20 SU and 60-39-1 ATS. Lay the points. |
11-29-22 | South Carolina State +16.5 v. East Carolina | Top | 73-68 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina State Bulldogs + the points over East Carolina. The Bulldogs are in the midst of a season-opening schedule which will see them play 11 straight on the road (before their home opener on December 13). The Bulldogs have been an underdog in every game thus far (and by an average of 25.14 ppg), so it's not a surprise that it's winless on the season. It's catching double-digits tonight from an East Carolina team off a 21-point loss at Old Dominion. The Pirates are 0-1 ATS as a double-digit favorite this season, and 2-8 its last 10 as a double-digit fave. And it's an awful 0-11 ATS off a loss, if it was favored by 7+ points against a foe off an ATS loss. Take South Carolina State + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

11-28-22 | Cal Poly v. Pacific -6.5 | Top | 62-58 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 13 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Pacific Tigers minus the points over Cal Poly SLO. Pacific comes into this game off 3 SU/ATS losses. We'll take Pacific tonight, as it's cashed 69% the past 33 seasons at home off 3 SU/ATS losses. Lay the points. |
11-28-22 | Longwood v. San Diego -3.5 | Top | 68-71 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 14 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the San Diego Toreros minus the points over Longwood. San Diego comes into this game off back to back losses, including an upset loss at the hands of Nicholls St on Saturday. We'll lay the points with the Toreros, as they've cashed 77% since 1990 at home off back to back losses, if they were upset in their previous game. Take San Diego. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
11-28-22 | Texas Southern +25.5 v. Kansas | Top | 55-87 | Loss | -105 | 2 h 12 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Texas Southern Tigers + the points over Kansas. The Tigers come into this game off four straight losses -- all by 15+ points -- while Kansas checks in off a 14-point loss to Tennessee. We'll go against Kansas, which is 12-24 ATS its last 36 non-conference games. Take the points with Texas Southern |
11-28-22 | Incarnate Word v. Texas-San Antonio -7 | Top | 62-68 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 45 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Texas San Antonio Roadrunners minus the points over Incarnate Word. These two Alamo City rivals will actually be meeting for the very first time tonight, in the 210 San Antonio Shootout. UTSA has lost its first two games of this holiday tourney, to Grambling and Dartmouth, while Incarnate Word triumphed over those same two teams. We'll take the Roadrunners to win this final game, as they're 21-4 ATS at home vs. foes off back to back wins, when the Roadrunners weren't getting 10+ points. Take UTSA. Good luck, as always... Al McMordie |
11-28-22 | Hawks +2.5 v. 76ers | Top | 101-104 | Loss | -105 | 1 h 27 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks over the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers come into this game off back to back SU/ATS wins over Orlando, while Atlanta lost its two previous games to Houston and Miami. We'll take the Hawks tonight, as they're 35-18 ATS when they've owned a winning record, and were off back to back SU/ATS losses, and matched up against a foe off back to back SU/ATS wins. Take the Hawks. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-28-22 | Golden Knights -1.5 v. Blue Jackets | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -115 | 1 h 23 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Vegas Golden Knights minus 1.5 goals over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Johnny Gaudreau is finding out that things won't go the same with the Blue Jackets as they did all those years with the Flames. Sure, the 29-year-old superstar is posting a point per game so far this season -- his first in Columbus. But that's quite a bit below the production level he put up last season when he tallied 115 points in a full slate of 82 games. And he also led the lead with a +/- rating of +64 and so far in 20 games, Gaudreau is working at a -6 rate. His biggest problem right now is that he's without his most important line-mate as winger Patrik Laine has been sidelined with a sprained ankle and will be out until at least mid-December. The Jackets will welcome the Knights into town tonight for the first time since last March. Vegas began the season red hot, although it lost its last game on Saturday to Vancouver, 5-1. The Golden Knights are 8-0 in their last eight games against Eastern Conference teams and they 're also 7-1 in their last eight road contests. Take Vegas minus 1.5 goals. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Oregon State -2 v. Portland State | Top | 71-83 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 48 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Oregon State Beavers minus the points over Portland State. Oregon State plays this game with revenge from an 18-point blowout loss to the Vikings. We'll lay the points with Oregon State, as it's 20-4 SU and 16-4-1 ATS when playing with revenge at home, or on a neutral court, vs. a non-conference foe. Take the Beavers. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Iowa State v. Connecticut -5 | Top | 53-71 | Win | 100 | 15 h 48 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Connecticut Huskies minus the points over Iowa State. The Cyclones upset the #1-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday. But they'll have another tall task against a ranked opponent tonight, as they're matched up against 7-0 Connecticut. We'll lay the points with the Huskies, as they've cashed 63.4% vs. non-conference foes off an upset win. Take UConn. |
11-27-22 | 76ers v. Magic -2 | Top | 133-103 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 3 m | Show |
At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Orlando Magic minus the points over Philadelphia. The Magic are 5-14 on the season, and have been installed as a home favorite vs. the 10-9 Sixers. We'll lay the points with Orlando, as < .312 NBA teams have cashed 85%, at Game 9 forward, as favorites/Pk vs. >.517 opponents off an upset win. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Rams +16 v. Chiefs | Top | 10-26 | Push | 0 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
At 4:25 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Rams + the points over the Kansas City Chiefs. Defending Super Bowl champions have never — at least not since 1980 which is when my database starts — been an underdog of +14 (or more) points….until now. But they have done well as an underdog of +5 or more points, as they’ve gone 17-9 ATS. And defending champs have also gone 28-15-2 ATS on the road off a loss vs. a foe off a win. The Rams fall into two of my favorite systems, with records of 156-85 and 337-232 ATS, that play on certain losing teams off losses. We'll grab the points with L.A. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Chargers v. Cardinals +3 | Top | 25-24 | Win | 100 | 9 h 2 m | Show |
At 4:05 pm, our selection is on the Arizona Cardinals + the points over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cards were blown out by San Francisco this past Monday in Mexico, 38-10. But off that loss, we'll step in and take Kyler Murray & Co. this afternoon. Indeed, home underdogs are 60.1% ATS if they gave up 38+ points in their previous game, and failed to cover the spread in that game by 10 or more points. Additionally, Arizona is 12-0 ATS following a loss by 17 or more points, if it was playing a .500 (or worse) foe in its current game. Take Arizona. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Hofstra -4 v. Quinnipiac | Top | 72-70 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 49 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Hofstra Pride minus the points over Quinnipiac. The Pride upset NC Greensboro, 65-53, in this Tournament yesterday. And that moved its non-conference record to 38-19-1 ATS their last 58. We'll lay the points with Hofstra today, as it's 62-30-7 ATS away from home off a double-digit win. |
11-27-22 | Yale v. Colorado -8.5 | Top | 62-65 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Colorado Buffaloes minus the points over Yale. The Buffaloes are 53-31 ATS at home their last 84 when not favored by 17+ points. Take Colorado. |
11-27-22 | Bengals v. Titans +1.5 | Top | 20-16 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 58 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Titans over the Cincinnati Bengals. When these two teams last met, the Bengals bounced the #1-seeded Titans out of the Playoffs. We'll take Tennessee this afternoon, as home teams are 62% ATS when playing with revenge from an upset playoff loss, if they were off a win. Even better: Tennessee comes into this game off back to back SU/ATS wins over Denver and Green Bay. And home dogs/pk are 121-90 ATS in non-division games off back to back wins. Take the Titans. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | Broncos v. Panthers OVER 36 | Top | 10-23 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 55 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the OVER in the Denver/Carolina game. The Broncos come into this game off six straight Unders, while Carolina enters off back to back Unders. Last week, the Broncos scored just 16 points, while the Panthers scored just three. The result is that this O/U line is the lowest Total for the Broncos in 11 seasons, and the lowest Total for the Panthers in 12 seasons! By my math, it's too low. Indeed, since 1980, at Game 11 forward, NFL teams that averaged less than 15.9 ppg on offense, and whose games totaled, on average, less than 32 ppg, have gone OVER the total 65.1%. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-27-22 | UC-Davis -3.5 v. SE Missouri State | Top | 73-71 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 51 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Cal Davis Aggies minus the points over SE Missouri. The Aggies were upset at the buzzer by a Wisconsin-Milwaukee 3-pointer, so they'll look to bounce back this afternoon. Cal Davis has cashed 62% away from home off an upset loss. Take the Aggies |
11-27-22 | James Madison v. Valparaiso +12.5 | Top | 79-81 | Win | 100 | 5 h 52 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Valparaiso Beacons minus the points over James Madison. The Dukes come into this game off back to back wins, including a blowout of South Dakota State yesterday, while the Beacons are off back to back SU/ATS losses. But we'll look for Valpo to get back into the ATS win column on Sunday, as it falls into 796-595 and 61-19 ATS systems of mine that play on certain teams off losses. Additionally, the Dukes have covered just 22% of their non-conference games, if the Dukes were off a SU/ATS win, and their opponent was off a SU/ATS loss. Take Valparaiso + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie |
11-26-22 | Lakers v. Spurs +3 | Top | 143-138 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs + the points over the LA Lakers. These two teams last weekend in LA, and also met here last night, and LeBron James & Co. routed San Antone in both games, 123-92, and 105-94. We'll take the home dog in the rematch, as San Antonio is 32-21 ATS at home when playing with double-revenge in the regular season. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-26-22 | Notre Dame v. USC UNDER 63.5 | Top | 27-38 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 19 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the UNDER in the USC/Notre Dame game. Last week, the Trojans outlasted rival, UCLA, 48-45, while Notre Dame blew out Boston College, 44-0. These two teams tend to play lower-scoring games, and have gone Under each of the last three meetings, and are 17-10-1 Under the last 28. Additionally, the Fighting Irish are 17-3 Under when playing an opponent which scored more than 42 points in its previous game. We'll look for another relatively-low scoring game on Saturday evening. Take the Under. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-26-22 | LSU v. Texas A&M +10.5 | Top | 23-38 | Win | 100 | 16 h 40 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Texas A/M Aggies + the points over LSU. Brian Kelly's Tigers are having a super season. They're 9-2 SU and 7-4 ATS. But the one negative spot for them is that they're 0-3 ATS as a favorite away from Baton Rouge. They lost SU/ATS against Florida St, and also didn't cover as a favorite vs. Auburn and Arkansas. At 4-7, Texas A&M won't be going to a bowl game this season. So, tonight's game IS its "Bowl Game." And the Aggies are a solid 18-6 ATS their last 24 as home underdogs of more than 5 points. Take Texas A&M + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-26-22 | Montana State -2.5 v. Quinnipiac | Top | 53-70 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Montana State Bobcats minus the points over the Quinnipiac Bobcats. Montana State was upset by NC Greensboro, 77-66, yesterday. We'll take Montana State to rebound today, as it's cashed 69.2% in non-conference games off an upset loss. Take Montana State. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-26-22 | Mavs -1.5 v. Raptors | Top | 100-105 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 50 m | Show |
At 5:10 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Mavericks minus the points over the Toronto Raptors. Dallas comes into this game off a loss at Boston, 125-112, on Wednesday. We'll take the Mavs to bounce back tonight, as they're 14-1 ATS their last 15 as a road favorite off a road defeat. Lay the points with Dallas. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
11-26-22 | Iowa State +10 v. TCU | Top | 14-62 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 30 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Iowa State Cyclones + the points over TCU. All good things must eventually come to an end, so don't be surprised if TCU's win streak goes by the wayside on this Saturday. Iowa State is giving up just 16.5 ppg this season (TCU gives up 25.5). And at Game 11 forward, NCAA underdogs/pk off a loss, with a defense that gives up less than 17.5 ppg, have gone 57-24-3 ATS vs. foes off a win. Take Iowa State + the points. |
