DMack's Boca Raton Bowl Super Play is on the UAB Blazers UAB is an amazing story in that they gave up football for two years (20-5-16) and back to this point so quickly with many of the same kids that hung around while there was no football. The Blazers are what they are with all three losses by 21+ points but this is a team that has come to play, especially after getting smoked in a bowl last year. Northern Illinois played tough schedule which helped them ion the MAC but this is a team with an extremely poor bowl history going 0-5 SU and ATS the last five years, losing by an average of 25 ppg. and losing the the betting number by more than two touchdowns. Gimme the feel good story.

DMack's Monday Night Magic Game of the Year is on the Saints/Panthers Over This is the front end of a 13-day quick turnaround that sees these two meet again in the Super Dome to close the season. While the Saints are 10-1 ATS in their L11, see red flags after having to come from 14 down to get an improbable straight up win and cover last week vs. Tampa Bay. Carolina is going to miss the playoffs and should be free and easy here. The last eight games in the series have averaged 57+ ppg. and these two might very well just trade points here. Play the Over.

DMack's NFL Systems Play of the Year is on the New England Patriots You have to be pretty new to the game if you did not know that the New England Patriots were money off straight up losses. In fact, over the L11 years, the Pats are 26-11 following a loss including 2-1 this year but consider this .... in the Tom Brady era (2002 - present), when the New England Patriots are underdogs OR are small favorites of three points or less following a straight up loss, the Pats are a mind-boggling 20-0 ATS. That stat plus the Pats recent domination in the series (5 straight wins) is pretty good backing to lay small points on the road here.

DMack's Divisional Game of the Month is on the Seattle Seahawks A common thing among sports bettors is that they seem to bet based on their last impressions. San Francisco is off a win, home, and 2-3 under ex-Southern Miss gunslinger Mullens but seem to forget that these same Seahawks crushed the 49ers 43-16 just two weeks ago. Granted, short work for Seattle but they need no new schemes and vs. a divisional opponent they see twice a year .... a veteran team like this, driving for the playoffs should not have much problem. On defense, San Fran hasn't created a turnover since October 28th and that was against Rosen and Arizona. Seattle 30-17.

The Bills are 2-4 in the Buff this year with the wins by a combined four points but the defense is not bad and QB Josh Allen, despite his many flaws, can hurt you several ways and is now a definite threat to run at any time. The Lions look like they have quit on Patria and are 2-5 L7 with a win at Arizona which probably shouldn't count. Bills a sneaky 9-4-1 L14 as a home favorite and the "eye" test has us confidently giving a field goal.

DMack Super Play is on Eastern Michigan Georgia Southern is a nice story by following last year's 2-10 season with this year's 9-3 but the Eagles faded down the stretch with the Sunbelt title in their hands, losing big to Monroe and Troy. Eastern Mich has a middle of the pack offense that is balanced and spreads things around. The EMU defense has already faced a triple option in Army and while they gave up 30 points to the Cadets, the infantry was held to just 4.0 yards per carry. With a month to prepare and the MAC school rocking a 17-4 ATS run as a dog, the three and a hook is impossible to pass up. Eastern Michigan 30-27.

The Bulldogs rock the No.3 defense in all college football and they face a team without a whole lot of offensive bite and who will now be without top big play weapon who is sitting out so as not to get hurt before the draft. Fresno is not much on the offensive side and the Sun Devils will have the advantage in overall talent. Despite Pac-12's recent abysmal bowl record, Herm Edwards don't play that and this is his first bowl so expect max effort here. Not interested in a side when the first one to 20 likely wins. Rivers threw for 418 that game but were -2 in turnovers which was the story of the game. The Chiefs defense is awful and the offense prolific having scored 40 and 51 points in the two Kansas City losses. This could be another shootout with the teams combining for 70+ points or more. DMack's Thursday Night Sunbelt Super Play is on App State We're gonna give the Mounties a mulligan for Saturday's lack of interest against Lafayette. They got out of Dodge with a win and now face fellow conference unbeaten Georgia Southern. App gave Penn State all it wanted in its opener and other than ULL Saturday, all Apps wins are by 26+. The Mounties seem to do their best work on the road and are 11-5 L16 as road faves. Class show here. 38-17 for Boone's Farm.

DMack's Tuesday Sunbelt Super Play is on the Troy Trojans Not much to recommend with the homestanding SAU Jaguars but Troy is a proven commodity that is still in the hunt for the conference title albeit with a new QB. The Trojans figure to do some business against a Jag outfit that allows better than five yards a carry and 222 yards per game. Troy is 11-2 ATS off its L13 straight up losses and in revenge mode after getting stunned at home by the Jags last year. All arrows point to Troy.
