DMack's Thursday Sunbelt Super Play is on Arkansas State Red Wolves Fully aware that Georgia State has covered their last five games but the Panthers are not much at 2-6 on the year and just 2-5-1 as a home dog in their last eight. Ark State started 0-4 but has been a roll since starting conference play winning three straight while sandwiched around two byes. The Wolves flicked the switch defensively and have allowed just 24 points over their L10 quarters. ASU might not run for 296 and 384 like they did in the last two series meetings but they should still do significant damage to a team allowing 200+ through the air and on the ground. Arkansas State 34-16.

DMack's Weds Night MAC Daddy is on the Toledo Rockets
Both teams come off brutal losses last week and now both teams need help after having control of their own destinies in their respective divisions of the MAC. Toledo has never really been the same since the BYU loss and last week Solich and Ohio had the perfect gameplan to solve the high octane Rocket offense. Akron has no such option as the Zips have allowed better than 1000 yards rushing over the their last three games and Toledo will be all over that while opening things up for Woodside and a very good passing game. The Zips are 0-3 when they don't score at least 31 points. They may do that here but just have no way to trade points. Akron 3-11 as a home dog under Bowden. Lay it with Toledo.

WMU averaging 45 ppg in MAC play and rolled to 54 points and 711 yards against Ball last year. If the Cards do anything to hold up their end of the bargain, this one flies over the total.

Bears are just 3-10 L13 as a home dog and the Vikes are 19-3 ATS L22 under Zimmer. Kansas City has been slow out of the box thanks in large part to some key injuries. Other than Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs are getting healthier by the week and should be in a position to win eight of their last ten and with a couple of breaks could even run the table much like they did last year. Colts are 13-2 L15 in the series including KC's playoff debacle a couple of years ago. Chief's 9-2 as road faves L11 and get Indy monkey off their back with convincing win here.

The Blackshirts are improving every week and the Badgers have a tendency to go dormant in the red zone. Wisky has dominated the series of late in a big way which should have Husker upperclassmen coming in with a chip on their shoulder. That said, the Falcon option attack is still No.7 in the country and faces the No.124 (second to last) rushing defense in the country. Fresno fired its HC on Sunday and preps with assistants getting their resumes updated on a short week vs. a team that is tough to gameplan for on a normal week. This is a statement game for both teams in many ways. The Jags see their season in the balance. Tennessee with the opportunity to establish themselves on their home field in a division game. Both teams are young and works in progress but the Jags despite huge roster improvement have made few strides and travel here on a 5-27 straight up run on the road. The Titans counter with a 1-8 ATS L9 as a home favorite and 2-12-1 ATS L15 run overall. In the end, the Titans have shown some improvement and are establishing their power running game which has allowed Mariotta to post an 8-1 TD/Int mark in last three. Would rather avoid the hook (buy down if it makes sense, 20 cents not 35-40 cents) but think that this is the game that Tennessee establishes itself as a player in the terrible AFC South. Mack Attack Saturday Night Late Bailout is on Colorado State Now that Houston is toast in terms of the FBS playoffs, Boise State is the new Flavor of the Month as the Broncos will likely run the table. Lets not get crazy because this Boise outfit is several notched below the Chris Petersen outfit's of 5-10 years ago, a fact masked the deplorable condition of the Mountain West. Boise has failed to cover five straight on the Smurf turf (2-10 L12) and have a short week rematch with BYU on Thursday. Colorado State is very young and at this point not very good but on the improve. Expect Boise to win this 38-17 with bigger fish to fry in five days. Take the points.

DMack's College Football Total of the Week is on Stanford/Notre Dame Under Don't read anything into Notre Dame's game last week vs. NC State as it was a monsoon and in all honesty shouldn't have been played. That said, the big number intrigued us when it came out leaving us wondering where the points would come from. The series in historically low scoring at the Golden Dome with 9 of the last 10 going under including 17-14 street fight in 2014. McCaffrey at his best is dinged and will not be 100%. He constitutes 60% of the Tree offense. On the other side, Stanford defense is the best the Irish will have seen and should dictate the flow of the game. Projecting this game in the low 40s making the UNDER the correct play.

DMack's MAC Power Pack Play is on the Toledo Rockets Apologize for going to the well once to often with Toledo last week but we really like this team. Probably not smart to use last week in second of B2B against upstart EMUs but won by 15 laying 17 and outyarding opponent by just under 300 yards. Not shy about laying 3o here at home against hapless BG's. This will be as close to a Michigan/Rutgers spanking as you will find in a non-power five conference. Toledo 56-10.

The unbeaten Broncos came out a bit flat last week and eventually got backdoored by Northern Illinois despite winning 45-30. Zips are game but depend on running the ball and they just won't do that here versus formidable Bronc front seven. Western in Top 25 for the first time since the 60s and won't take that lightly. C Mich has always had success in this series going 6-3 SU and ATS in the series and that was against some very goo Husky outfits, Central Mich is the better team and wins comfortably by 10+.

Arguments I have seen against La Tech here is basically a lack of motivation. Why ??? The game is being played at Foxboro and offered on ESPN 3 so I think Skip Holtz will be able able to get his crew up. The Bulldogs should be able to do what they want on offense and we fully expect Higgins (454, 5 TDs, LW) to Henderson (232, 29.0, 3 TD's LW) to have another big game here. La Tech is nothing special on defense but only need to game plan for Minuteman stud back Young here. UMass is a loser of five of last six at home and seems to wear down late. La Tech 45-13.

BYU scheduling was done by the Maquis di Sade as Cougars follow blowout win at Michigan State hosting SEC team with Boise on deck. The Broncos have also covered five straight at Qual Comm and the Ornage Crush defense will be facing an injury depleted offensive line which spells a long night for Philip Rivers. San Diego plays hard and one could argue that they should be 5-0 but like the old saying goes, those that do are he Broncos. Those who don't are the Chargers. Denver 27-13.

He's started two games since 2012 and beat Tampa Bay in both of those going 49-73 for 507 yards and three TDs. Expecting a much better effort from the Carolina defense here and looking for turnovers as the mistake prone Bucs have given it up nine times the last three weeks. Tampa Bay also has been outscored 46-19 the last three games so based on that form the Panthers are more likely to extend then get backdoored. Lay it.

Belechick fired by the Browns unceremoniously fired years ago after the team and fans quit on him after team was announced to be moving to Baltimore. Shutout loss to Rex last week and on and on. In the end, expect Brady to exploit young Brown defense and especially look to get almost 100% healthy Gronk (1 catch) involved here. DMack's NCAAF Bad Blood Winner is on the Michigan Wolverines My top Big Ten source who is intimate with the situations of both teams indicates that Jim Harbaugh has absolutely no use for Penn State HC James Franklin. The genesis of the rift is unknown but we do know that Harbaugh does hold a grudge and will take it to the field by running it up if he can. Harbaugh has no intention of letting up and there is little that a hard trying but over matched Nit outfit can do about it. Forget the backdoor, it's closed.

DMack's Saturday NCAAF First Blood is on the Nevada Wolfpack Purdue pass happy offense is racking up a lot of yards but that hasn't translated into a lot of wins for the Boilers who even have extra time here. In fact, offense will have limited time on the field id Nevada run game gets going like it should. The Wolf Pack finds lots more success in Lafeyette than it did two weeks ago in South Bend. Nevada straight up.

DMack's Pac 12 Game of the Month is on the Utah Utes
USC is in full panic mode including switching out quarterbacks to a true freshman after no production vs. Bama and Stanford. Utah is the exact type of team that gives Tojans problems, big and physical with a pounding run game. USC hangs around for a half and gets worn down late. Utes 26-13.

DMack's Thursday Night NFL Super Play is on the Texans/Pats Under Even with Brady or Garoppolo, would play the under here. Texan defense is for real and Pat offense simply too banged up to do anything about it. Pat defense will keep them in the game. Staff familiarity means there will be no surprises. First team to 17 wins.

DMack's Thursday Night Thunder is on Clemson/Georgia Tech Under the Total Not interested in the side despite Clemson being 2-9 L11 as a road fave and Jackets 7-2 L9 as a home dog. Surprising 3-0 hosts are there on defense and all techs clearly point to the low. Cant see this going higher than 58 so get the best of it now and cash your ticket.
