DMACK'S UFC VEGAS 55 DOG DESTROYER winner is on Alen Amedovski Joseph Holmes is 7-2 but in the grand scheme of things is not really all that much. He has no stand up game to speak of and is off a unanimous decision loss to journeyman Jamie Pickett. His only perceived advantage is that he's been active over the past 24 months where his opponent hasn't. Amedovski (8-2) was highly thought of at the start with eight straight KO wins but lost both his 2019 fights and was KO'd in 14 seconds in most recent. He's stepped away to regroup but trains out of the same camp as Chamaev and that crew so you know he see's the best in the world on a daily basis at the end. Amedovski just might be a spent shell but if he's not, he's definitely worth a look at +175 here.

DMACK'S UFC ON ESPN 36 PRELIM PUNISHER winner is on Michael Johnson They say that the most dangerous animal is a wounded animal and that's exactly what we get in 19-17 Michael Johnson. "The Menace" is a veteran back to 2010 in the GSP/Koscheck TUF and when he's good, he's very good, when he's bad, he's abysmal. He owns wins over Tony Ferguson and Dustin Poirier yet he's 2-7 L9 and on a four fight losing streak. He's very much fighting for his UFC life. Alan Patrick is 14-3 is a 38-year-old journeyman that is a high risk and high reward fighter with defensive flaws that make him tailor made for Johnson. DMACK'S UFC 274 Main Event winner is on Charles Oliveira Justin Gaethje is a tough guy but his game was exposed by Khabib who laid out the blueprint on how to beat him. Gaethje is an excellent striker, has a big gas tank, and an iron chin but he's willing to take damage and is grappling is without question weak. There is no better grappler, BBJ, or submission fighter in MMA than Charles Oliveira. He just fought a very similar fighter in Dustin Porier and can basically go out with the same game plan and win. Oliveira's biggest flaw is overconfidence but if he takes his time and is patient. He'll be able to wear Gaejthe down and get a stoppage late. Definitely a possible Fight of the Night possibility, this is going to be a good one Oliveira by fourth round submission.

DMACK'S UFC on ESPN DOMINATOR winner is on Andre Fili Joanderson Brito is a very average fighter with decent standup but not much else considering his daunting physique. Andre "Touchy" Fili not only has the best nickname in the UFC but he's also a pretty good multi-faceted fighter. Fili fights out of Team Alpha Male in Sacramento and is somewhat of an enigma in that he just can't seem to break through alternating wins and losses against top notch fighters like Max Holloway, Yair Rodriguez, and Charles Jourdain who we saw on last week's card. Fili has been itching to get back in since probably costing himself a 50K bonus award when he was dominating Daniel Pineda and seconds away from a stoppage when he carelessly poked Pineda in the eye and was fortunate to come out of it with a No Contest rather than a DQ. I think we see the best Andre Fili here winning a dominant (30-27, 3X) unanimous decision.

Thinking that Levy was paired with Mike "Money" Breeden as a soft touch but that's not the case. Breeden (10-4) is a tough guy who sometimes gets careless and gets caught himself. Eight of his ten wins have come by KO and he's an experienced vet who is capable of unloading on Levy here. Levy opened as a better than 2-1 favorite but it's been nothing but Breeden money early. He's been reduced to gatekeeper status at this point as his time is about to run out. He's been somewhat jerked around by Ilir Latifi who was scheduled to fight the Russian but has been a last minute cancellation on three cards in five weeks. The UFC was able to get Oliynyk a fight with a late replacement in Jared Vanderaa who takes this on short notice having lost a split decision to another Russian veteran, Andrei Arlovski on February 12th. Vanderaa, a giant of a man at 6'5" and the full 265, is just 12-7 but was robbed in the Arlovski and was razor sharp with a pinpoint snapping jab and brutal leg kicks. Oliynyk is a submission specialist that would love to get this to the mat but will it tough going closing distance with an athletic big man who is definitely on the improve. Vanderaa is also a blackbelt in BJJ though he hasn't chosen to use it in recent fights. DMack's UFC 3-Fight Power Pack Winner is on Diana Belbita I come out of the horse racing industry and Gloria DaPaula reminds me of a horse (metaphorically) that looks like a million bucks and can barely go forward. I think Belbita's main fault is inactivity and maybe a win here will get the fire going. Belbita by a unanimous decision.

DMack's UFC 271 Power Pack winner is on Derrick Lewis The Big Boyz with the Big Bang. Both fighters weighed in at the 265 max and both fighters feature power in both hands in a fight that likely won't go the full 15 minutes. Tuivasa has dominated lesser competition but only has strikes as a way to win and Lewis does it better. In fact, Lewis has more stoppages than any other heavyweight in UFC history and tonight, fights in his home town on a card that he wanted so badly to fight on that he took the fight on short notice. I'll go as far as to say that this fight probably won't get out of the first round. Lewis is -180 to win the fight but to win by knockout, even money and -110 is readily available.

Arlovski still has pop in his hands, good cardio, and tons of experience to deal with the bigger man with far lesser skills. Arlovski is the best bet on the card.

Barnett is not much but had won six straight over three years on the regional scene befor losing to Ben Rockwell in his UFC debut. Barnett is not tall but he's a true heavy and actually hurt the 6'7" veteran Rockwell in his step up. Villante is a New Yorker that went to Hofstra and makes sense to be put on this UFC card ...... in his farewll to MMA. Barnett KO is 1-2.

DMack UFC 267 Power Pack winner is on Blachowicz/Teixeira Over 2.5 rounds Solid fight here between two red hot fighters who have found their best later in their careers. Blachowicz is 38 and Teixeira 42, both are cagey veterans with tons of experience. While Blachowicz will be looking to win on strikes, the Brazilian with look to get the fight to the ground and use his stifling BJJ game. Both fighters have excellent cardio and patience and the more times I run this fight over in my head the more I see it ending in a decision. Over 2.5 in MMA means 1:31 of Round Three of this scheduled championship five rounder.

DMack UFC 267 Power Pack winner is on Alexander Volkov Tybura has won five straight against very pedestrian competition while Volkov is 2-3 L5 fighting the best. Tybura really has no skill set but is a tough guy that can take you to the mat and smother you. That won't happen vs. the 6'7" Volkov who just went the distance with the new face of the heavyweight division Cyril Gane. Volkov with wins against the like of Overeem and Blaydes with his losses coming vs. the 2-3-4 guys in the division ... Gane, Lewis, Blaydes. No guarantee that Volkov gets a finish but a swarming decision is most likely.

DMack UFC 267 Power Pack winner is on Lerone Murphy Murphy is a 10-0-1 fighter out of Manchester who pops up from time to time on the Fight Island cards but has yet to venture to the States. He's a superior striker that has actually worked out of boxer Amir Khan's gym and is really technically quite good in the stand up. Amirkhani is a Finn who showed promise at one time but you have to go back to 2015 and a win over Andy Ogle to find his best. He's lost three of four and has bad habit of gassing late. Murphy by KO.

He's crafty and talented in all aspects of martial arts and has gone from a journeyman to a slick vet on a four-fight win streak including top prospect Chase Hooper. Choi is a power striker that's been a prospect for a while. He hasn't broken through with a signature win and this is a chance to move him up the ladder. DMack's UFC Fight Night 196 Power Pack winner is on Jai Herbert Both fighters are looking for a win in the worst way, possibly fighting for their UFC lives. Both fighters are strikers with power but Herbert is far more versatile and brings much more to the table. In short, if either fighter hits the other on the chin it would likely be lights out. It's far more likely that Herbert figures Worthy out first and works out a second or third round knockout.

Both fighters have pop in both hands and there should be fireworks here start to finish. Lacerda is a value dog here at 11-1 and his only lose cam on a doctor imposed injury stoppage. Lacerda is destined for better things as is our betting accounts with this extra 50 cents. Lacerda.

Nunes is long and a striker but eventually this will get to the ground with Carnelossi getting the duke with late ground and pound.
