Here’s a basic example of what Larry does to arrive at these outcomes. Let’s say the Alabama Crimson Tide is playing the Arkansas Razorbacks and the spread is four points in favor of Alabama and the total is 42. Simply subtract the spread from the total. You will get 38. Then divide that number by two. You will get 19. That number is the projected score of the underdog of Arkansas in this case. Add the spread on to that number to get the favorites projected score. 23 would be the score of Alabama here.
