Here are this week’s projected outcomes:

October 7th

10:00 AM
Carolina Panthers 20
New Orleans Saints 23

It looks like the books feel the Saints will get in the win column, finally!

10:00 AM
Jacksonville Jaguars 19
Kansas City Chiefs 17

KC gets no respect after beating the Bolts on the left coast. It’s unanimous that the books like teams after bye weeks.

10:00 AM
Detroit Lions 21
Washington Redskins 25

The books aren’t sold on the Lions as a road team.

10:00 AM
Atlanta Falcons 16
Tennessee Titans 24

The Falcons aren’t the same team outside of the dirty. The oddsmakers really don’t see Atlanta having a shot based on this 8-point line.

10:00 AM
Miami Dolphins 19
Houston Texans 24

As if a home loss to the Raiders wasn’t bad enough, the books have the Phins losing again this week to fall to 0-5.

10:00 AM
Seattle Seahawks 17
Pittsburgh Steelers 23

The books are giving the home team the edge in this battle of 3-1 teams. The oddsmakers feel the Steelers will bounce back after a tough loss on the road.

10:00 AM
Cleveland Browns 16
New England Patriots 32

The books have projected another blowout win for the Patriots. They haven’t won by less than 20 yet.

10:00 AM
Arizona Cardinals 22
St. Louis Rams 19

The books feel the Rams are awful and will fall to 0-5 despite the fact that Arizona is winless on the road.

10:00 AM
New York Jets 19
New York Giants 22

The books have New York winning this one by a slim margin. I had to use that joke. The books simply feel the G-men are better t this point based on their better record.

1:05 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18
Indianapolis Colts 27

Nothing stands in the way of Indy getting to 5-0.

1:15 PM
San Diego Chargers 21
Denver Broncos 22

Denver gets the edge at home in this AFC West rivalry game. Despite this being projected as the closest game of the week, it has lost its luster with Denver and Sa Diego playing poorly leading up to it.

1:15 PM
Baltimore Ravens 19
San Francisco 49ers 16

Alex Smith’s injury is affecting this line. The books feel the Ravens’ defense will handle the 49ers run on the road.

5:15 PM
Chicago Bears 19
Green Bay Packers 22

The reigning NFC Champs will be 1-4 after this week? That’s what the books are telling us.

October 8th

5:30 PM
Dallas Cowboys 28
Buffalo Bills 18

Another easy victory for Dallas. Then, they’ll have to get ready for the Patriots next week. The books don’t think they’ll be looking ahead.
