Larry has picked up right where he left off last season, dishing out the punishment to the books in the NFL. You can start getting your piece of the pie by playing his NFL picks. These week 3 NFL predictions listed below will also guide you to picking more winners. While the numbers say more dogs will win over the course of the season, when you are picking straight up winners in your office pool, you’re going to want to take the favorites.

Larry has taken the spread and the total and used them to arrive at the score that the oddsmakers feel is going to occur. Who says the books don’t let us know exactly what they’re up to?

Lines also tell us a lot about how the books feel about certain teams. Many people loaded up on Cincinnati last week after the Browns were embarrassed by the Steelers and Cincy had beat the Ravens. However, the books had set a relatively tight line which backed up our notion that that matchup would be closer than expected. The result was an outright win for Cleveland.

The books must be sick of favorite lovers getting easy winners on the Patriots so they jacked this week’s line up to 17-points to get more action on the other side. There are those who will back off as rarely do NFL odds exceed two touchdowns and there are those who will lay the number as if to call the oddsmakers’ bluff.
