UFC 70 odds are a great way to get in on the action while watching this exciting event. This event is taking place on Saturday, April 21st 2007 in Manchester, England and will be televised on Spike. The main event is Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic taking on Gabriel Gonzaga. Another major matchup is with former champ Andrei Arlovski taking on Fabrico Werdum.
Cro Cop is the top contender to take on heavyweight champion Randy Couture. He has been successful in Pride and in K-1. He’s beaten a bunch of big names in both mixed martial arts and kickboxing. As a former kickboxer he is great at striking and using his legs.
Gonzaga is 7-1 and is fighting out of Brazil. He is also known as a fairly strong striker who has also won five of his seven matches by submission. Two of his last three fights though have been won with strikes.
It was only a year ago that Arvloski was dominating the heavyweight division and looked invincible. Then there were back to back losses to Tim Sylvia after which he took nearly six months off to get back in the action before beating Marcio Cruz by strikes. It’ll be interesting to see if he can regain his top form.
