Two teams going in opposite directions meet up Saturday, September 13th.  The Oklahoma Sooners (2-0) travel up north to face the Washington Huskies (0-2).  The third-ranked Sooners are looking to continue their impressive start, while Washington is hoping to bounce back from a disheartening defeat to avoid their third straight loss.  The Info Plays team, led by handicapper Larry Cook, will give their Oklahoma/Washington predictions based on the 21-point spread set by odds makers at various sports books.  We have 11 NCAA Football Picks slated Saturday for just $24.95!  You will be getting advice from the #4 ranked college football handicapper in the world.

The Sooners have opened the season with a 57-2 rout of Chattanooga before cruising to a 52-26 win over Cincinnati last week.  Oklahoma is No. 5 in the nation in scoring after two games, and they have yet to trail this season.  Head coach Bobby Stoops loves the players he has at his disposal this year.  He states they are listening to the coaches and they don’t think they have it all figured out just yet.  Bet Oklahoma -20.5 for your best odds at BetUs Sportsbook!

Washington have their own things they need to improve on as they head into their third straight game against a Top-25 team.  The Huskies got blown out in Week 1 by No. 21 Oregon, 44-10, and then went on to lose to No. 15  BYU 28-27 last week.  But that loss to the Cougars didn’t come without controversy.  A controversial excessive celebration penalty was called when QB Jake Locker scored a touchdown with two seconds remaining and promptly threw the ball high into the air in celebration.  This penalty made the extra point attempt a 35-yarder, which is no longer a chip shot.  BYU blocked the kick, and Washington was left stunned in disbelief.  Throwing the ball into the air is a penalty under the rules, but most CFB experts believe the penalty was uncalled for under the circumstances.  Think Washington can bounce back?  Wager on the Huskies +21 at Sportsbook.com here!

The demoralizing loss dropped the Huskies to 11-27 under Willingham, who was already in the hot seat to start the season.  Washington is 2-11 in their last 13 games following back-to-back wins to start the 2007 season, and they’re now 0-7 against ranked opponents.  Despite their struggles and a sour taste in their mouths, Willingham likes what he sees from his team.  It will be tough to regroup and put up another big fight against Oklahoma, but that’s what Willingham will ask of his team Saturday.  The Huskies will have their hands full with Oklahoma’s Ryan Broyles at wide receiver.  After coming off a 1-game suspension, Broyles caught a touchdown and set a freshman record with a 141 receiving yards last week.

Oklahoma has shown little weakness on offense, but their defense may be another story.  After giving up two touchdowns in the second quarter to Cincinnati last week, the Sooners clearly have some work to do.  Oklahoma gave up just 36 total yards in their week 1 opener, but yielded 326 to Cincinnati last week.  Oklahoma defeated Washington at home on September 9, 2006 in their only previous regular-season meeting.  These teams met in the Orange Bowl on January 1, 1985, when the fourth-ranked Huskies beat the No. 2 Sooners 28-17.  So there is some history here.
