The Ohio State Buckeyes and USC Trojans enter Saturday’s game on a streak that really shows the significance of this game in the eyes of the BCS.  Either the Buckeyes or the Trojans have been in a National Championship Game for four straight seasons now.  The winner of this contest will have a great chance to earn another national title in 2008.  Larry Cook releases his 10* NCAA Top-10 GAME OF THE YEAR on Saturday’s Premium Card for just $19.95!  Trust in Mr. Cook and his 20 years of experience to deliver you the winner of a game the whole world will be watching with his Ohio State/USC Predictions!

The Trojans come off a week of rest while the Buckeyes come off a game where they were clearly overlooking the Ohio Bobcats.  By the way, last week Larry’s 10* In-State Rivalry GAME OF THE YEAR went down on the Bobcats +34.5.  So as you can see, Larry saw this upset coming and capitalized on it with a big win for his premium clients.  The Buckeyes will have the tall task of trying to prove that their struggles last week were just a fluke.  Bet Ohio State +10.5 at Sportsbook.com here!

The Buckeyes are getting most of the hype this week with the injury to running back Beanie Wells.  But Wells is expected to play after being sidelined with a foot injury last week.  Wells has informed coach Tressel that he’ll be ready to carry the ball 45 times if need be.  Wells worked out with the team in pads Wednesday and co-offensive coordinator Darrell Hazell stated that he looked good in practice with no signs of any limping on the field.  An extra week of rest could have only helped Wells, just as it may have done for Mark Sanchez had he decided to sit out the Trojans’ opener against Virginia.  But Sanchez didn’t show any signs of being hurt, completing 26-of-35 passes for 338 yards an three touchdowns en route to a 52-7 victory.  Side with the USC Trojans -10.5 at BetUs Sportsbook and get a 50% Bonus on you initial deposit!

Sanchez is hoping to get back to the National Title game, a feat that last year’s quarterback John David Booty was unable to accomplish.  The Trojans have appeared in three straight Rose Bowls, with their last coming in a 2006 national championship loss to the Texas Longhorns.  The Buckeyes have played for the National Championship in each of the last two seasons, but both have resulted in lobsided losses to SEC opponents.  Tressel’s football team definitely has something to prove Saturday, and whether that turns out good or bad is another question.

A key factor for the Buckeyes will be sophomore quarterback Todd Boeckman.  Something tells us that Terrelle Pryor will have a few wrinkles thrown in for him this game, which would be a smart move for Tressel and company to throw everything they have at the Trojans.  Boeckman completed just 16-of-26 passes last week for 110 yards and one touchdown.  He’s played poorly against better competition.  In his final three games last season against Illinois, Michigan and LSU, Boeckman threw for 414 yards and two touchdowns while getting picked off six times.  The Buckeyes went 1-2 in that string of tough games.

The Trojans have two of the best linebackers in the country to try and slow down Beanie Wells.  Ray Maualuga and Brian Cushing are future NFL players that will have the big task of slowing down Wells an the Buckeyes’ offense.  This duo played will in USC’s season opener where the Trojans limited Virginia to just 187 total yards and forced four turnovers in the process.  But the Buckeyes counter with the reigning Butkus Award winner in James Laurinaitis who is the heart and sole of Ohio State’s defense.  He already has 14 tackles and an interception through two games.
