You have to treat football handicapping differently when you are taking a look at the college ranks and then predicting the NFL games on Sunday. We are going to take a look at a few of the different approaches to each form of betting and then allow you to be a bettor sports gambler this fall.

Let’s get started with a few tips on how we make our weekly college football picks. There is little use for systems and data from five years ago when you are handicapping the NCAA because players are only around and in the starting lineup for a year or two before graduating. The key to this sport is keeping up to date on all the latest news and notes by visiting the team homepages. If you know how each coach is approaching the game, if anyone is hurt, suspended, or coming back and ready to play, then you are going to be ahead of the game. You must also keep in mind that these players have a lot more emotion than the pros. Rivalry games mean a lot more to them and home field advantage can really swing a game back and forth. Above all else though, stay educated on each squad.
In the NFL we will break out a few more system plays and go against the general public opinion more than we do for college. Players may or may not have been in place for several years, and the coaching cycle normally leads former head coaches to new destinations. This means that we can get a good feel for how players and coaches react to their players. It is not as easy to handicap the NFL on your own as it is for college football and that is why we recommend all of our visitors get started with our NFL picks packages.
