Reasons why Mississippi State covers the spread Wednesday:

1.)  The Bulldogs are just a small home favorite and have been very profitable in this spot over the years.  Mississippi State is 8-1 ATS in home games when playing only their 2nd game in 8 days over the last 3 seasons.  This is a well-rested team and the Bulldogs will have their way with Charlotte Wednesday.

2.)  Charlotte is 2-6 on the season and are not even in the same class as Mississippi State.  Charlotte is 1-8 ATS in road games after failing to cover 2 of their last 3 against the spread over the last 3 seasons.  The 49ers are 1-4 SU and 1-4 ATS in all road games this season.  Mississippi State is 5-0 SU at home this season, winning by 25.4 PPG.  The Bulldogs should be at least a double-digit favorite Wednesday against this terrible 49ers’ team.
