The first game taking place will be on NBC with the 9-7 Washington Redskins heading to Seattle to take on the 10-6 Seahawks.  The game will be played on Saturday at 4:30 EST.  Washington played well down the stretch to lock up the Wild Card and sealed the deal with a 21-point win over the top seeded Dallas Cowboys in week 17.  Seattle won the NFC West rather easily and are the three seed in the NFC.

The 8 EST game on Saturday will be aired on NBC as well.  It’s the AFC-North champion Pittsburgh Steelers taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Even though Pitt stands at 10-6 and Jacksonville is 11-5, the Steelers get this game at home since they won the division and the Jags dominated the rest of the conference in winning the Wild Card.  The Steelers have lost three of their final four games which left them as the four-seed and gave them this matchup against the Jags that everyone wanted to avoid.

Sunday at 1 PM EST airing on FOX will see the top Wild Card in the New York Giants heading down to Tampa Bay to take on the 9-7 Buccaneers.  This is another game in which the home team has a worse record as the Giants finished 10-6, but were in the same division as the top seeded Cowboys.  The Bucs surprised a lot of people this season, and are excellent on the defensive side so this should be a good one.

The last game of the weekend is Tennessee visiting San Diego.  The Titans came in at the six seed with a 10-6 record while the Chargers were hot down the stretch in winning six straight to end up 11-5 and finish with the three seed.  Tennessee squeaked in over the Browns by beating the Colts in their season finale 16-10 in Indianapolis.  This game will take place at 4:30 PM EST.
