2007 Sony Open Golf Tournament Predictions

The PGA Tour will be in Honolulu, Hawaii from January 11-14th at the Waialae Country Club and now you can get in on the action with our 2007 Sony Open Predictions.

Vijay Singh is coming off a win last week, and he is the current favorite to win this event.  He seems to play well early in the season as he never takes a break from the game and is always on top of things.

Jim Furyk is another grinder on tour who has had success on the island.  We expect him to have another impressive performance this week and contend for this tournament.

Luke Donald is the third best option in the field this week, who we have listed as a slight favorite over Trevor Immelman and David Toms.  After these top five players you will be better off going with Davis Love III.

You may be surprised to find Stuart Appleby in contention on the weekend, but we wouldn’t be.  He’s had a lot of success in Hawaii and is coming off a 13th place finish last week.  He’s our best value play of the week and will get you more than 20 to 1 odds at nearly every online sportsbook.

Geoff Ogilvy is our eighth best option, but there may be some value in the defending US Open champion.  He’s still not a public favorite like a lot of the guys above him, and will continue to help bettors cash in.
