A late touchdown from Hasselbeck to Jeremy Stevens saved Seattle from a loss against the Cowboys.  Stevens caught five total passes for 77 yards and two TDs while Hasselbeck was only 18-of-36 for 240 yards.  This could poise problems since Dallas had melted on defense to end the regular season while the Bears are better on that side of the ball than anyone else in the NFC.

The Bears had the week off and they might have needed it to recover from the New Year’s Eve beating they took from the Packers.  Rex Grossman is on the hot seat once again after a 2-for-12, 33 yards, and three interception performance.  Brian Griese will be ready to spell him, but Chicago will rely on the double-headed rushing monster they have with Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson.
