The Pocono 500 is a Superspeedway that rides like a road course. This is the most unusual track layout of the NASCAR schedule. Pocono Raceway has a massive front straight that often sees cars racing four, five and even six wide. With the challenging turns and high speeds, you have a 2.5 mile superspeedway that drives like a road course. This triangle-shaped track has three corners with different-angled bankings making it very difficult to set up and pass a car. Pocono is the most unique track because of its set up. As difficult as it is to set up and pass cars while driving well, Pocono frequently hosts races that are decided in the final laps. This looks to be another exciting race with a great field in tact.
