2007 NBA Finals Predictions
The 2007 NBA Finals
Predictions will be based on the
Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio
Spurs. Nobody in their right mind
gave Cleveland a chance, but LeBron
James and company proved their
critics wrong by beating the Detroit
Pistons in the Eastern Conference
Finals in dominant fashion.
Cleveland won four straight games to
win the series 4-2 and earn their
first ever trip to the Finals in
Cleveland's 37-year franchise
history. This is exactly what the
NBA needed to get more viewers with
more interest in the 2007 NBA
Finals. They want to see if LeBron
James can actually earn his team a
Championship.

LeBron is getting many comparisons to Michael Jordan because it took MJ seven
years to finally make a NBA Finals appearance. LeBron has done it in four years.
It is tough to say that LeBron is every bit as good as Jordan was in his first
four years in the league, but the numbers are very comparable. The problem is
that if Cleveland has a poor showing in the NBA Finals than LeBron's efforts to
this point could get overlooked. Cleveland has to really bare down now and face
their toughest opponent of the 2007 NBA Playoffs.
The San Antonio Spurs just keep getting it done without much attention from the
media. That is exactly the way they like it. They are in the process of making
one of the biggest dynasties in NBA history, yet nobody seems to realize it. San
Antonio went through three very tough opponents to get to the 2007 NBA Finals by
beating Denver, Phoenix and then Utah in the Conference Finals. They never had
to go to a Game 7 to do so either. The Spurs flat-out dominated their
competition and Cleveland will likely be the easiest opponent they have to face
in order to win their 4 th Championship in Tim Duncan's tenure.
Duncan is still one of the Top-5 best players in the league, but he just doesn't
get the recognition he deserves. When his career is over, people will look back
on what he has accomplished as a player and give him the respect that he
deserves. Our 2007 NBA Finals Predictions will fall with the San Antonio Spurs.
San Antonio will win this series in 5 games. The Spurs' addition of Michael
Finley and Fabricio Oberto has been absolutely huge. Finley doesn't miss when
open and Oberto is an animal on the inside. Couple these two studs with the trio
of Parker, Duncan and Ginobli and you have yourself one hell of a team.
This doesn't mean we will take the Spurs Against the Spread in each game, but
when the value is right, our 2007 NBA Finals Predictions will go with the Spurs
Against the Spread as well. San Antonio has found ways to shut opposing players
down year in and year out. We guarantee Greg Papavich will scheme the best plan
of any coach this year to stop LeBron James. Papavich is hands down the best
coach in the league, no matter what anybody wants to tell you. Mike Brown for
Cleveland isn't even in the top half of the league as far as coaching expertise
is concerned. He is just very fortunate LeBron James has carried him this far.
Coaching and defense wins championships. We are taking the San Antonio Spurs to
win the 2007 NBA Finals because of this reason. |
