The 2007 Final Four predictions are being made by experts and sports gamblers alike. To accurately make Final Four predictions you have to be familiar with all of the top teams in the country. We will be looking at some of the top teams in the land to try and give you a better feel for who we think will make the Final Four in 2007. Our top 4 teams include Ohio State, UCLA, Florida, and North Carolina. If these teams get the #1 seeds then we could easily see 3 out of 4 of them reach the prestigious Final Four.

We are taking four teams from the major conferences that we feel are the top teams in each conference. Ohio State has been playing perhaps the best basketball of any team in the nation recently. They lost their first meeting of the season with Wisconsin on the road by three points but we feel the Buckeyes are the best team in the Big Ten. They are 26-3 on the season. The Buckeyes have won 12 straight games since losing to the Badgers on January 7th. With wins over Tennessee and a signature road win at Michigan State, the Buckeyes have proven that they can get the job done when the pressure is on. This will be very important when the NCAA Tournament comes around. It is the most pressure-packed four weeks of these players’ lives and you want to stick with a team that has consistently handled pressure throughout the season.
Another team that knows all about pressure is the Florida Gators. They are the reigning NCAA Champions and will be ready to make another title run in March. They have faltered lately by dropping a pair of games at Vanderbilt and at LSU. We do not see these losses damaging at all to their hopes of winning another championship. Actually we believe it might help them in the long haul. These losses will bring the Gators back down to earth and make them realize that they can’t just show up to win. They are still one of the best teams in the country and nobody can take away their national title. With studs like Noah, Humphrey, Green, Brewer, and Horford you can’t go wrong with this squad. The Gators will be at the top of their game come tournament time and you will be seeing this team make a repeat appearance at the Final Four.
UCLA makes our list of 2007 Final Four Predictions because they are the strongest defensive team in the nation. They lost to Florida in the Championship game last season. We believe that they are a stronger team this year and they shoot the 3-Ball as well as any team in the country. They have a 22-3 record on the season with their only 3 losses coming on the road to quality opponents in Stanford, Oregon, and West Virginia. All three of these games could have gone either way. Aaron Affalo gets things going for this team and when they need a big shot he steps up. It’s key to have a clutch performer like Affalo because when the game is on the line the Bruins know they can turn to him. It will take many clutch performances as a team for the Bruins to make it to the Final Four again but we believe they will succeed.
North Carolina is the team we are picking to win the whole thing. Our 2007 Final Four predictions revolve around the Tar Heels because we believe they are the most talented team in the nation. Now that Roy Williams has himself a championship he knows what it takes to get the job done. They are the best team in the toughest conference in America we believe. Tyler Hansbrough is the best player in the country averaging19 points and 8 rebounds a game. His hustle plays will inspire this team throughout the NCAA Tournament. They may have lost a few games recently but those are only minor setbacks to their Final Four run. They will have it together come tournament time so don’t count this squad out. The Tar Heels win it all in 2007.
