At the beginning of the year the 2007 Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl odds were showing them as one of the favorites, but a late season slide has bettors wondering.  Peyton Manning is an experienced quarterback, and one of the best in the game as well.  Plus they have an experienced coach in Tony Dungy, but their defense has everyone scratching their heads.

The good news is that Bob Sanders should be back for the playoffs, and his hard hitting will make a difference in stopping the run.  The bad news is that the Colts are most likely going to have to go through Larry Johnson, Jamal Lewis, and LaDanian Tomlinson if they expect to make the Super Bowl, and with one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, the offense will be playing a lot of catch up.  More bad news, the Colts struggle against the 3-4 defense and the other team they’ll play who doesn’t use the 3-4 is in their first round against the Chiefs.
