We have listed several of our favorite sportsbooks and their 2007 Belmont Stakes odds below.  It should be an interesting race even though Street Sense couldn’t pull off the win at the Preakness to give us a contender for the Triple Crown.  He won’t be racing in this event now as they prepare him for the rest of the season, but the Preakness winner will be at the Belmont in Curlin.  Curlin is the favorite to win the race at nearly even money with the third place horse from the Preakness being the second horse in the mix in Hard Spun.  Hard Spun may be a little over-rated, especially at this longer distance so I would advice caution.

When it comes to looking at long shots in this race then you will have to take either Imawildandcrazyguy or Slew’s Tizzy.  Both of these horses are getting 20/1 from the sportsbooks and probably for good reason as neither horse has a real chance to win this race.  Imawildandcrazyguy did get fourth at the Derby and finished strong there, so he may be worth a look here at the longer distance.

When you take a look at betting the 2007 Belmont Stakes odds then you can also bet on a couple of different props.  The first of which is how many lengths the winner will take the Belmont by.  More than 2 lengths is the favorite there and that is probably because the odds makers are thinking Curlin is the far superior horse.  The chances are about 50/50 with this year’s winner beating Jazil’s time of 2:27.86 from a year ago.  These are just a few of the wagers you can make on the race, but whatever you decide to put action on then we wish you the best of luck.
