2006 Bodog Party Review
June 5, 2008
Our team was once again on hand for a major industry event when we attended the 2006 Bodog Party at the Tao nightclub inside the Venetian on Tuesday, July 25th.
Attendees to this year’s event included Shannon Elizabeth, Kelly Hu, Erik Palladino, Billy Burke, Roger Cross, Jon Kelley, plus big time poker players such as Josh Arieh, Matt Savage, Gavin Smith, Umberto Brenes, Clonie Gowan, Andy Bloch, David Plastik, Kenna James and Brad Kondracki. All of these celebs and all of the other attendies partied long and hard to the music set forth by famous DJ Steve “Kid Millionaire” Aoki. Of course, there were plenty of sexy Bodog Girls on hand as well.
After passing through an extended line and a short wait the guests where escorted to an elevator which stopped at the Tao’s Buddha Bar. Everyone was then immediately handed glasses of champagne as they entered the party. All of the guests were treated to a variety of visual delights which included attractive women painting each other’s bodies, a girl in the birdcage and more. In the main room, an I-Ching master told fortunes, Jeanette “The Black Widow” Lee took on anyone who wanted to play against a top billards pro, and a games room featured Chinese Checkers, Mahjong and more.
There was a main stage near the dancing area that featured go-go girls, Chinese acrobats, swordsmen, midget ninjas, and karate demonstraters. When the clock struck midnight Carmen Electra’s Bombshell Babes starter their performance, who where scantily clad and gyrating very sexily to the music.
In another side room you could enjoy bed-and-cushion seating as well as hookahs for smoking Eastern-flavored tobaccos and an extensive Asian buffet.
Though Bodog.com CEO Calvin Ayre was not in attendance this year, he said, “I am already hearing raves about the party.” He added: “This was a typically great Bodog Party with non-stop entertainment and lots of sexy Bodog women.”
We were very surprised at this year’s Bodog party after the cancellation of the marketing conference that normally goes along with the event. There were still plenty of attendees and the entertainment was still top notch. Stay tuned for more information about the Conference to come.
